The resort has a nice beach area for kids to play in, good pools, and decent water park. Service level is not up to par with comparable Mexico all inclusive hotels though. Could use more amenities within the room such as robes, more hangers, not charging service fees for room service, better lounge chairs for swimup rooms. Overall we had a good time, but there is a lot of room for improvements.

The infinity pool was lovely, the free activities were great. The only thing, if you are there for the ocean, the beach leave something to be desired. The shore is full of small stones or broken shells and painful on the feet and the water does not go out very far and only just above the waist. The water was wonderful but could not go out very far because of all the rocks after walking into the water about 10 feet.

I went with my 2 young children and their dad. It was absolutely awesome!! This was my 5th time in JA and I have never experienced staff that were this nice. The hotel staff were very friendly. I'll be honest, there was ONE lady in the Asian restaurant who was not very pleasant and the food wasn't the greatest, but the good definitely outweigh the bad. They were a bit strict but only for safety measures. The shows at night were nice, the kids club was super cool, the Oasis pool was so live and overall, I gave them a 10/10. I will definitely be back, for longer this time. lol

Rooms were cleaned everyday thoroughly but my things weren’t touched, only things on the floor were organized like shoes. Which I respected a lot. The staff were all so nice and welcoming and accommodating especially with my kids, they were so kind and acknowledged my kids and played with them. Definitely family friendly. Pools and kids water park were nice. The cafe was 10/10, beach was 10/10(had lots of rocks in certain areas but some areas there weren’t any), food 10/10. Would definitely come again.

The hotel was beautiful rooms big and loved the swim outs serve was good some staff not so happy but others knew us by name very friendly every morning fist bump… The only neg thing I will say with our stay was when they came to clean the rooms and take the towels they wouldn’t leave clean towels and our frig was not stocked when we arrived took a day for them to come after we called. The restaurants were ok our fav was the steak house the hibachi restaurant experience was the worse for one the noise lever in there was crazy loud couldn’t even hear our cook or server just too many people screaming and singing wayyy to loud then as the chef was cook I was squirted with rum in my face almost in my eye frm the bottle when he was weting the grill to start cooking after that happen I was over the whole experience. The steak was to tough to eat wasn’t my favorite at all. The MVP bar food wasn’t good at all and the choices are slim to none they need more late night spots with better food. We did the floating breakfast in our suite really wasn’t the experience I thought it would be first they were late coming and we had to rush n eat the food wasn’t good or hot and it wasn’t floating just pushed to the end and that was that for 120 should have been wayyyy better. Love the coffe shop and the bars and the live music every night and they did a cool Michael Jackson show overall the resort itself very nice I would go back for sure…

Our experience is unique because we were there within days of a reopening after a hurricane because of that we experienced some disruptions and discomfort that will likely be ironed out once the staff is bonded and trained. The entertainment was off and there was almost NO poolside service besides maybe once per day. The water sports were great but that particular part of beach leaves much to be desired its rocky and shallow, like not even to your waist. If I had small kids though I would be grateful for the shallow water. The tubs on the balconies facing community space is odd though because I seen a man’s genitalia but again that’s not the resort just a guest.

It appears that after Hurricane Melissa Jamaican resorts hired the best marketing team with top quality cameras to attract tourists. The food was mid, the amenities were acceptable to an extent and my room looked nothing like the photos. Culturally, the staff that I encountered were rude and seemed to not understand that without tourists they would not be employed. Getting assistance from most staff appeared to take an act of Congress. In contrast, there were staff that were accommodating and understood their assignment. Overall, I would not stay at Princess Grand again. I paid a decent sum of money and was extremely disappointed. Don't let the pictures fool you.

We were very excited about our stay here to celebrate our birthday/anniversary. Usually when we do book a trip to celebrate something special, it is acknowledged and we are greeted with some type of room decoration or complimentary champagne. We took the time to notify the hotel prior and were told it would be added to the notes of our booking. Upon arriving we received nothing and to make matters worse it wasn’t even acknowledged. We even opted to upgrade our booking to a swimout on the adults only side from the Grand family side. We spent an extra $800 to upgrade and I honestly feel like we were robbed. The resort overall was not that busy and the experience was not up to par. We got no additional amenities, not even a credit towards entering the spa. We complained that the AC in our room was malfunctioning. They told us a maintenance worker will come to the room to look at it, yet all they did was sent a fan to the room. The AC was not cold at all. Also, power went out for atleast 3 hours in the night. We got no apologies whatsoever and not one word was said about the electricity being out for that long. This experience was honestly the worst we’ve had and we’ve traveled to numerous islands across the Caribbean. One positive remark I have to say, will be towards Ms Primrose in the food market, Jodie Macaroni at the pool snack bar and Lacey on the Omelette station, exceeded customer service expectations!!! They were honestly the only highlight of this stay.

We stayed in a Family Swim-Out Room with our infant and preschooler and had a wonderful holiday overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the swim-out pool was the highlight, used every day by our family.

The resort is large, well maintained and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the main buffet, Reef Buffet for Jamaican dishes and the Italian restaurant. The smoothie bar was a daily favourite, and the 24-hour café was perfect for quick snacks and sandwiches for the children.

Housekeeping was the main area needing improvement. Despite tipping daily, we often had to request basic toiletries such as shampoo and body wash. Our room service indicator light was also broken throughout our stay despite being reported.

The beach has lovely soft sand, but the water is quite rocky, so water shoes are highly recommended for adults and children. The waterpark was great fun for our kids, although some areas are better suited to older children.

The Kids Club staff were friendly and caring, though the activities felt a little limited compared with other family resorts.

The resort is quite isolated, and essentials in the gift shop are expensive, so plan ahead if travelling with young children.

Overall, the excellent food, swim-out room, family-friendly facilities and friendly staff made for a very enjoyable stay. We would happily return and recommend it to other families.

Our stay at Princess Senses The Mangrove was exceptional. We experienced both the adults-only and family sides of the resort through our group, which gave us a full view of the property, including accommodations, amenities, and service.

The rooms were modern, spacious, and beautifully designed. The swim-out suite was a highlight, offering direct pool access from the terrace for easy relaxation throughout the day. The hot tub suites were also highly enjoyed for their more private outdoor experience. On the adults-only Platinum side, the rooms featured double showers and stunning ocean views that added to the luxury feel.

Service across both properties was consistently excellent, with warm and attentive staff throughout the resort. Despite the size of the property, everything felt well-run and guest-focused.

Platinum amenities, including exclusive dining and rooftop pool access, added a more elevated and relaxing experience.

Dining was consistently strong, with fresh, flavorful food across restaurants and buffet options and no disappointing meals during our stay.

Entertainment was varied and enjoyable, from evening shows and live music to karaoke, sports bar energy, and nightlife options, offering something for everyone without feeling overcrowded.

Overall, this resort delivered a polished and memorable experience, and with over 50 guests in our group, the consensus was clear — Princess Senses The Mangrove is highly recommended, and we would return.

We had the most fantastic time at Princess Gran. I absolutely loved every moment of it, although some people the group we were with had some complaints about customer service upon check-in. We personally had no problems. The staff was so caring in particular Shakira from the food market she helped us out so much. Our one year-old was sick when we arrived and she gave such helpful advice, checking in with us every day and making us feel so welcome. We tried to find her our last day to express our gratitude, but unfortunately, she wasn’t working that day but big shout out to you Shakira. You made our experience very memorable. The food was fantastic They have lots of activities on resort, including free water sports with paddle boats, kayaks, snorkelling! One area of confusion was the nightclub and dispensary some of us were told we had to pay $30 USD for the day pass just to go to the nightclub and dispensary others were simply escorted over without the fee so having consistent answers across the board would definitely be helpful. I don’t see why people would pay just to walk over to the dispensary or even the nightclub, which is supposed to be included so I hope they can provide further clarification on that now in our room. We did have an issue with our AC unit leaking. We contact the customer service. Nobody showed up to repair it. We talked to maintenance in the hall once again nobody came. We finally had the front desk call us and finally somebody came to repair the issu

From check-in to check-out we had a great time especially our daughter. She absolutely loved the kids club and the ladies there(especially Shanique and Aria),were wonderful! She had a blast everyday. Shana-Lee (I really hope I haven’t misspelt her name) at the platinum check in was truly exceptional, especially with our daughter who adores her. The staff at the platinum restaurant were very nice and welcoming, Michael was very attentive, warm and friendly! Our daughter looked forward to him bringing hot chocolates every time we were there! The staff at the lobby bar and the aqua bar are great and the lobby bar became our go-to. The property itself is stunning and overall the staff there are very pleasant and accommodating. The food is good, would definitely recommend the Italian restaurant and platinum restaurant. In the Main Buffet (Food Market) restaurant most of the staff were extremely nice and accommodating aside from one instance when we had to switch tables due to our 7year old being extremely cold one of the ladies seemed to take issue with us moving causing the hostess to end up waiting the table. (We wouldn’t have known if the lady wasn’t within earshot of us). all in all we had a great time and have decided to make Princess Grand our annual home away from home!

My stay at Princess Grand Resort in Jamaica was absolutely AMAZING! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The food was delicious with so many great options, every meal was flavorful and fresh. The staff was incredible — friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile.

The cleanliness throughout the entire resort was superb. Every area was spotless and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere was relaxing, fun, and full of positive energy. And the views? Absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to the beautiful scenery every day felt like paradise.

The whole experience here from start to finish was nothing short of magnificent! The staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The room was gorgeous and spacious. The hydro massage was an added bonus. I called ahead and had the room decorated for my spouses birthday, well executed. I recommend booking the cabana with the swim out, definitely a great day spent. The floating breakfast, champagne, privacy etc. The food 1000/10. I’ll visit again and again!

The staff were the best part of the hotel. The hotel looks good and the amenities were great. The restaurants were great. My kids and I loved the sport bar but the wait time for the food was too long. The only concern was the cleanliness of the room. However if you request the staff would come to re-clean the rooms. It is a very family friendly and had activities for all ages. Will definitely return to this resort.

The grounds are beautiful . I travel often so I am not too picky but there were a few things that could’ve been better. We didn’t have a trash can in our room,(which didn’t bother us too much bc we didn’t ask for one), no shower holders for soap, rags etc, but my sisters room had multiple on the shower, some waitresses/waiters were extremely rude Jamrock & Fusion specifically, food trucks menu offers Jerk chicken but didn’t have it , said it was at the aqua bar , had to ask for towels one too many times, didn’t get the towels until that night when we asked 5 times that morning, the manager denied exchanging my cash at the front counter due to guest checking in, which I feel like isn’t right because I got to the counter before them . First come first serve you would think. White party was amazing , foam party got rescheduled due to rain, grounds are kept clean, Jamrock restaurant was our least favorite . You would think it would be the best since you’re in Jamaica , only fat on oxtails , goat curry was good , Rasta pasta was extremely dry no meat, no flavor, archery & other activities are listed on sports page but I was told it’s not offered along with other activities . For sports all is offered is basketball & tennis. We loved the security making sure everyone was kept safe. We would recommend & revisit resort.

We had an overall great stay at Princess Grand and truly enjoyed our vacation experience, especially with the Platinum services, which added a nice level of comfort and convenience throughout our trip.
A special thank you to the butler team: Pierre for attentiveness and professionalism. They were helpful, responsive, and made our stay feel smooth from beginning to end. We also really enjoyed the service at the café and the Bar: Morris was excellent— Leonard pool side was also great. The specialty dining restaurants were another highlight of our stay, Venessa at jamrock, Ingrid at coffee café, Lorraine at the Italian restaurant, Teresa at the platinum lounge made dining memorable.
There were a few areas where service consistency could be improved. At the Reef and Restaurant, service varied depending on the staff member and shift, and we experienced similar inconsistencies with some of the lifeguards at the waterpark and a few other dining locations. While some employees were excellent, others seemed less attentive or welcoming, which made the experience feel uneven at times.
That being said, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives, and overall we truly enjoyed our stay at Princess Grand. The resort has a lot to offer, and with a little more consistency across all staff and service areas, the experience could be exceptional from start to finish. We appreciate the hospitality and would consider returning in the future.

We were limited on restaurant's, no top shelf alcohol. We kept being told we were not Platinum but no one could explain or be helpful. We did not see anything on line about this. Most of the staff was rude like we were bothering them. We lost power multiple days. Internet was terrible. We wouldn't go back. We had 10 people in our group and we all felt the same. Even being big tipping we had a hard time getting good service from the staff.

Everything was absolutely smooth and perfect. I enjoyed myself. I booked the platinum suite so major of my check in process was fast track. I got an orientation of the property and suite. The butler that was assigned to me was really helpful. Checking out wasn’t an issue either. Booking the Platinum service got me some advantages like exclusive bar and buffet service.

I liked the ambiance of the hotel. The check in process was top tier where we sat down to check in and got a towel to wipe our hands.. Perfect view from our room. Friendly and honest staff at the food market. I left my glasses and was able to get it back. The staff there were very attentive. Workers in the main areas were polite and had a warm smile.
