Woke up after my first night to realize there was blood (not mine!!!) on the bedsheets. Probably the worst thing to have happen. Not only were the sheets not changed but they had someone’s blood on them. The staff tried to be helpful but honestly after that everything kind of bothered me. They had silly rules that kids couldn’t be play pool after 9:30pm. They’re 15 and 11, not little and were accompanied by us. We couldn’t walk along the beach beyond a certain point because of our wrist band color. Didn’t make me feel very welcome.

Definitely a place you want to visit if you have kids there’s lots to do. The food is foolish service. I love how they provided us with a crib. They provide us with whole milk for a one year-old the drink, though they need to reinvent that in terms of like liquor like you don’t really get top travel liquor, and the drinks are too sweet, you have to be very specific with the bartender as to what you want and hopefully they get you what you want but other than that I highly recommend this hotel. Very very happy with the service butlers we’ll go again.

We were so happy with this resort. The staff was so friendly, if we asked a question they walked us directly to what we were looking for, and were so playful with the kids. Our room was beautiful, newly remodeled. Had not a single issue getting into an à la cart that we wanted without any wait, and the kids were obsessed with the water park

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely return. The property was very clean throughout, including the rooms, pools, beach areas, and common spaces. The beach is beautiful, although a little rocky in some spots, but still a lovely place to relax and enjoy the water. What truly made this hotel special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Alexa at reception, who was outstanding ,professional, kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. She made a big difference in our stay. Also, Trudy-Ann from housekeeping was amazing, trust worthy , thorough, friendly, and kept our room spotless. The food was excellent, with many delicious options every day. There was always something great to eat, and the restaurants were very enjoyable. The bartenders were also fantastic, friendly, fun, and attentive.We also loved the entertainment. The shows were very well done, with great singers and dancers, and it was nice that they offered entertainment for both kids and adults. There were always activities at the pools and beach, which made the stay even more enjoyable.The only issue we experienced was with the room keys, which stopped working more than once. Having to return to the front desk to reactivate them was frustrating. Aside from that small inconvenience, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, specially if you are a family wanting a good vacation.

The property is amazing, our room was a swim out and it was perfect. We would open our balcony and just be in our pool. All the other pools are also perfect! The beach is not wavy and very warm water. The food is really good. But if I need to choose one thing, that would be the staff. They are very adorable, really want to help and make sure we are happy in there. Very friendly. In the dinning section for breakfast and lunch Jada specially was amazing. Even when she was not directly serving our table, she would come to say hello and give important tips about Jamaica. I’d recommend this place 100/10.

Beware of the extra charges because they’re a lot of them. Pay attention to which side your booking. The family side is not going to be comfortable for you if you don’t want to hear kids running around, jumping on the furniture.

Besides that gorgeous resort, clean, pleasant staff. 30 minutes from Negril and an hour from Montego Bay.

Next time I would stay on the Senses side adults only. Not sure if I would recommend for solo travelers like myself.

My husband and I typically visit Sandals resorts, but we recently opted for a different establishment. The Prince Grand exceeded our expectations in terms of amenities. The accommodations were exceptional, and the dining options were delectable. We plan to come back in October for our 40th wedding anniversary.

We had a great time at Princess Grand Jamaica. The food was excellent, especially the desserts. I loved the Platinum Club, especially the rooftop pool with its amazing ocean view. Our room also had a beautiful sunset view.
Special mention to our butlers, Pierre and Javaughn, and all the Platinum Club staff for their great service. The entertainment could be better, but we didn’t mind since we enjoyed the quiet time.

I’ve been to quite a few all-inclusive resorts over the years, but I can honestly say the family section at Princess Grand Jamaica is the best experience I’ve had so far.

From the moment we arrived, the reception team made everything completely stress-free. Check-in was smooth, welcoming, and they always had a smile on their faces, which set the tone for the entire stay.

The staff overall were absolutely brilliant. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, and it truly felt like more than just a vacation—it was an experience I won’t ever forget.

A special mention has to go to the restaurant staff. Their level of professionalism, politeness, and attention to detail is outstanding. You can tell they are very well trained in customer service, and it made every dining experience enjoyable.

The activities team also deserves huge praise. The entertainment was top tier—engaging, fun, and suitable for the whole family. There was always something happening, and they kept the energy high throughout.

I would highly recommend the swim-out room—my daughter was in the pool for most of our stay and absolutely loved it!

Overall, I would give the entire experience a 10/10. If you’re considering a family getaway, Princess Grand Jamaica has truly set the bar very high.

The only negatives were that there were no mats on the floor, especially when stepping out the shower, and the toilet in our suite kept blocking after doing #2 which was very disgusting.

The property is absolutely beautiful, with clear attention to detail in its design and aesthetics every corner feels thoughtfully curated and picture perfect. The food was enjoyable overall, which definitely added to the experience.

However, the service at the specialty restaurants left something to be desired. The staff did not come across as particularly welcoming, and at times it felt as though our presence was an inconvenience.

Overall, we had a good stay. That said, if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere with engaging entertainment, this may not be the best choice, as entertainment options were very limited.

We came to Princess Grand Jamaica to exchange private vows, just the two of us, a small and humble celebration that was deeply personal. We had brought our own decorations and simply hoped to pay for a basic table setup through wedding services. What we received instead was something far beyond what we could have arranged on our own.

Malika in Guest Services sat down with us and genuinely collaborated on a plan, but none of it would have happened without Ingrid Walker, Assistant Guest Services Manager, who heard what we were trying to do and made the call to approve it. She gave us a real yes when she didn't have to, and that decision changed our entire night. Together, Malika and Ingrid coordinated a pool cabana with concierge service for the evening, and while we were out taking photos, they took our personal decorations and transformed the space into something that left us speechless.

Tasha in Guest Services deserves her own recognition. She took our initial photos and did a fantastic job. She has a genuine eye and made us feel so comfortable during such an emotional moment. Beyond that, every single time she saw us around the resort, she stopped to check on us. That kind of consistent, personal care is rare and it meant more than she probably knows.

What this team did was take something we were already excited about, however small and humble, and turn it into a night we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. They didn’t have to go that far. They’re great!

An immaculate, modern and luxurious resort. Instead of windows in public areas, it's all completely open to the stunning views as well as constantly refreshing breezes flowing through. The whole place is literally a breath of fresh air! There's a great selection of restaurants serving tasty food. The desserts felt a little cheap but otherwise the food was very good.
Another complaint I had was that, in the rooms, the mugs provided were the smallest I've ever seen and there was no spoon provided. My message to the resort is, you clearly respect your customers. You provide a 5 star experience right from the start, from a seated check in experience, staff treating guests like royalty, stunning interiors and a luxurious bedroom, so why fall at the last hurdle with tiny mugs and no spoons?!

Personally I found the live music in the sports bar and pool bar deafening to the point my ears hurt, I noticed people leaving, including myself. It's frustrating when you can't have a conversation because of the music.
Lastly, the front beach had no showers to wash sandy feet etc but otherwise the facilities were absolutely 5 star. Luxurious infinity pools, direct access to private pools for ground floor rooms, plenty of palm trees, plenty of comfortable shaded pool and beach side seating. The view at night with the whole resort and pools lit up is absolutely mesmerising. I find myself unable to move, unable to stop gazing at it all. I felt complety relaxed at peace.

Our stay at Princess Resorts was very disappointing. Housekeeping woke us up 2.5 hours before checkout, banging and yelling despite the “do not disturb” light being on.

Service at the Jamaica Food Market was also poor. While waiting for a table, I asked to wait for my family, but the hostess (Sonya) refused and pressured me to go in alone with an unwelcoming attitude.

Although check-in was 3 PM, we didn’t settle until 4 PM and were told the water park closes at 5 PM. After a 7-hour flight and 1-hour shuttle, we decided to go try the food truck at 4:30 PM, but it was already closed and out of food. We were told the ice cream shop was 24 hours, but ice cream stops at midnight.

Kids’ amenities are limited. The game room is restricted (13+ and 18+), excluding my younger 7 and 11 yea old. The sports bar food was low quality. We saw they offered karaoke so tried to go do that but was told that kids aren’t allowed after 8 PM. That’s left us with nothing to do.

Drinks tasted watered down unless you had a specific wristband, which wasn’t explained. We also dealt with reservation issues between Expedia and the resort, so my mom was overcharged by an additional person. They wouldn’t offer a refund or accomodation.

The room had standing shower water and a sewage smell. Dining is limited to short restaurant hours, with buffets as the main option otherwise, and room service costs extra.

Only positives were the Bob Marley show and jerk chicken. We would not return.

Absolutely Amazing!! Let just say it was worth every penny. The staff and service was top notch and I have been all around the world. The food was exceptional and i love that it wasn't ridiculously large portions that are hard to finish but deliciously crafted meals. The thoughtful touches etc. Having a variety of pillow textures on your bed. To the beautiful decor. The decor in ever single area, from rooms, to lobby, to kids club was obviously professionally curated and you can tell. The quailty of the body washes and personalized products in the rooms. The security that personally took us around if we needed to find somewhere on property. Craig who checked us in, and made sure we received uprgrades as expedia VIP memebers. We had a beautiful swim out room.
My whole family had an amazing time. Shout out to the kids club, for making sure our kid's enjoyed every moment.
Princess Grand is one of my best all inclusive experiences and i will definitely be back!!

I totally get the age restriction but limiting you to the stores and restaurants is weird. Opening it up would have made the resort a full week location.

Property is beautiful, but a long way from the airport over VERY bad roads. People working were wonderful. Five of the six of us came down with nausea, chills and/or diarrhea after the second day. Upon returning home, we were diagnosed with E. Coli, Astrovirus and C diff. All from dirty and contaminated water and food. STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The beach was a disappointment for me, very rocky and my friend poked her toe. She was taken care of by the nurse, thankful for that. We went to the ATV excursion and everyone that wanted to ride were required to have an unexpired driver’s license, hence another friend was not able to drive one. In all I give the whole experience a 4. The hotel, excluding the beach part a 5. Oh and we do not recommend taking teens, the showers did not have much privacy and we needed to wait on one person to finish before leaving or coming into the room. We stayed at the suite with the swim-out pool. Apparently the regular rooms also have the same setup.

Overall, the stay was very good. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. My only issues were that we had to change suites twice and my cleaning lady was a little lax in her duties. Having the upgraded Platinum room category and butlers is a must. The resort was busy and the restaurants are understaffed so they dont actually fill all the tables so if you dont have a butler reservation you are kind of out of luck. It was kind of crazy actually. Our butlers were Shay Shay and Questos. They were AMAZING. Always ready to take care of us morning and night. The platinum level pool is great and the platinum buffet was nice for breakfast and lunch as the big buffet was a zoo. The beach is not great as it's man made. The pools and water park are very good so if you're a pool person you will like it. The biggest issue is lack of staff all over the resort. I know the hurricane really set them back but it will take many months before they are able to get the service up to par. We went two families with 4 adults and 4 kids and the lack of a nice beach made it difficult some days.

I can't wait to come back! My family and I had so much fun. All the staff seemed to be working hard, and I didn't find them to be overly motivated to try to get a tip. For the most part they seemed to genuinely be trying to ensure you had a great experience.

My only feedback is that I wish there were more garbage cans available throughout the property, but I understand that the lack of might be to avoid rats, cats, etc. That being said, there was always a staff member around that seemed to be cleaning and tidying.

I hope the Princess resorts at other destinations have the same quality/standard because I plan on staying at one for my next trip.

We had a great trip to Princess Grand Jamaica! We enjoyed our stay. The resort was very clean and well maintained. The beach is a bit rocky but we still found it to be beautiful and enjoyed it. The food was decent, not overly impressive but not bad. My kids were very fond of the ice cream shop and crapes. They also enjoyed the kids club and waterslides! Something silly but we noticed a lack of garbage cans around the resort in common areas. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family.

Security kept knocking on door for guests taking showers because it was triggering the fire alarm. Very annoying.

My room flooded due to a leak above. They switched my room twice as a result. Only consideration they offered was a one day pool cabana and laundry of wet clothing. The room got left full of water for several days.

Restaurants are severely understaffed. 6:00-8:30 you will wait 60-90 minutes for a table. You get seated and notice half or more of the tables are kept empty. Kinda of ridiculous.

Highly recommend this property for families!! My kids (4 and 7) loooooved the bunk beds!!! We had a little bit of an issue checking in because they put us in a non bunk bed room and the second room was occupied but the assistant front desk manager treated us to a cabana on the water park for one of the days. Service was amazing!

Kids club is really clean and organized but my kids said it was boring lol.

Food is delicious especially the buffet. We thought the buffet was better than the à la carte restaurants. Local food was really delish too - mackerel, curried goat, ackee and saltfish.

BUT the pastries?!?!! OH MY THIS PASTRY CHEF DESERVES A PRIZE AND THEN SOME. the morning croissants and the cakes during dinner were sooooooooooo yummy!!!!

I recently stayed at Princess Resorts with my family and had a very disappointing experience.

Before arrival, my daughter spent weeks trying to update my reservation from two guests to one. Expedia and the resort kept redirecting me to each other, and no one resolved it. As a result, I was overcharged for a two-person stay.

During the stay, housekeeping woke my family 2.5 hours before checkout by banging on the door and yelling, despite the “do not disturb” light being on. Service at the Jamaica Food Market was also unwelcoming—the hostess Sonya refused to let my daughter wait for my son in law and Grandsons to return from the restroom before directing us to our table and had a very uncomfortable attitude.

Amenities were limited. The water park closes at 5 PM, and the food truck was already closed and out of food by 4:30 PM after a long travel day. We were told the ice cream shop was 24 hours, but ice cream stops at midnight.

The game room has age restrictions (13+ and 18+), which excludes my 7 and 11 year old grandsons. Food at the sports bar was poor, and kids aren’t allowed after 8 PM. I had to babysit one night due to this just so my daughter and son in law could have a nice evening. I was looking forward to doing karaoke with them but someone had to watch the kids.

Drinks were watered down unless you had a specific wristband. The room also had a sewage smell from standing water in the shower.

Overall, not truly all-inclusive or family-friendly. I would not return.

This resort is super clean and the food is amazing. The rooms are gorgeous with a beautiful view. It’s an open layout so you get to see the beach as soon as you enter the resort. There’s also a lot of activities for the children to enjoy. I did not like that we were there for a week, tried going to the à la carte restaurants at different times and every time there was an hour wait. However, the buffet did not have a wait and the food was delicious. Also, I do not feel like it was all inclusive as there is a charge for room service (even if you generously tip) and there is a charge for the VR games for the kids. We also got the swim up pool with our room. The view was great but, the water was always cold. So although they say you can get in 24hours, it’s too cold to enjoy.

Our room was beautiful. We had a swim out and it was fantastic. All rooms seemed to be centrally located so you didn’t have to walk far to get to anything.

The à la cartes were limited. I am used to going to resorts where you have a steakhouse, a tepanyaki and a seafood as staple restaurants. All 3 of these restaurants were on the adult side, Senses. We were on the family side, so we had no access to these restaurants. That was a major disappointment for us. We did 2 à la cartes twice - the Italian and fusion. They were excellent and the staff were amazing. The buffet was redundant after a while. I’ve been to much better buffets at other resorts so it was a bit of a let down. The staff at the buffet were not that friendly and very slow.

The pool, waterpark and beach sections were amazing. There was always plenty of beach chairs available and lots of shady areas.

The maid service was great. They cleaned our room daily around 12:30 which was the perfect time. I’ve been to other resorts where my room didn’t get cleaned until 5 pm when I was trying to get ready for supper. This was not the case. They also replaced our towels and changed all the bedding daily.

The nightly entertainment was ok. Some shows were more interesting than others, but every night it was some type of music performance. It would be better if they had more of a variety.

All in all, a great experience but there are things that can be improved upon.

This new(ish) property was absolutely beautiful! The grounds were clean, the staff were more than friendly and the rooms were spotless. We were told it was at full capacity when we were there for spring break, but it’s so massive, it never felt crowded. There wasn’t a typical teen spring break crowd, but more of parents and lots of young kids. We would try the adult side next time.
The music from the shows at night is SO loud. We needed a white noise machine every night to block it out. I felt bad for people with young children trying to sleep through that every single night.
The buffet was our go-to every night at dinner because if you showed up after 6:00 to the specialty restaurants, you would never get a seat. The “hot” buffet food was like warm to cold. I’ve seen this same complaint in countless reviews. Probably explains why the crepe and omelet lines were long because people wanted hot food. The food trucks at the pool had the best food! Especially the jerk chicken and patties. The sports bar also had good food.
It’s not advertised, but the tour company in the lobby offers a complimentary private taxi ride to 3 gift shops just outside the resort.
At check-in you get a wristband that serves as your room key. They should really suggest putting it on the hand you do not typically use…the tail of the bracelet drags through the food as people scoop things from the buffet.Think about where else that bracelet tail is dragging through and it starts to gross you out.

Resort is beautiful and brand new, but the service is very poor. As VIP Expedia customers, we never received the welcome fruit basket. At the a la carte restaurants, we waited on average 1.5 to 2 hours every night. We tried the Italian, Mexican, and Asian restaurants, and all were the same long wait time due to staff shortage . Half of the tables at the restaurants were available but they had no staff to serve the tables. I have a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old, and waiting that long is unacceptable. I was not alone, many people were frustrated and disappointed.
The coffee bar ran out of pastries every morning, and the wait for a coffee was about 30 minutes. At the pool and beach bars, we waited 20 minutes just to be noticed. There is no customer service. For a resort this size, one coffee shop and four restaurants with no staff is unacceptable. Half the trip was spent just waiting.

I traveled with my three kids. The resort was nice, clean and welcoming. The staff was so friendly, always smiling and very helpful. I highly recommend this resort . I plan on coming back soon for my 50th. Definitely a must !

Property was amazing. Clean, easy to walk around, lots of options for fun. I traveled with 2 kids and they loved the kids pool! Kids club was also nice, but we didn’t spend much time there.
The staff is extremely hospitable and the food was amazing!!!
What was lacking for me was the consistency of activities both during the day and at night. Some private events were happening and it seems like the entertainment was prioritized to these groups versus the rest of the customers.
Some activities were moved/cancelled and each person would give us a different answer, so they don’t really know what’s going on.
Other than this piece, everything was really good and I would go back!
Giving them some grace as the resort just reopened and I believe they might still be adjusting and training the staff.

This place looks great. The problem is that they are not reliable and will not honor your booking preferences. I can’t tell you that they will tell you anything just to get you to book and pay the money and then when you arrive you’re stuck. I was not the only one at the resort talking about how they had expressed booking preferences, and Ben promised certain accommodations only to arrive and be told These are not available. You will have to accept what we have available. No apology. And customer service appalling.

I recently stayed at Princess Grand Jamaica Resort and had a very mixed experience. The property itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, the overall customer service and some of the policies took away from what should have been a relaxing, family-friendly vacation.

One of the biggest issues was the inconsistency in customer service. At times, staff interactions felt dismissive and lacked the level of hospitality expected from a resort of this caliber, which negatively impacted the overall experience.

On the positive side, there were several standout employees who truly made an effort to provide excellent service. Shana-Guy (Fusion 370), Niesha (Aqua Snack Bar), Verona (Coffee Shop), O’Neil (Bell Boy), and an older gentleman beach lifeguard were all amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. They are a true reflection of what great hospitality should look like.

I was also frustrated by some of the resort’s policies. Requiring men to wear sleeved shirts for breakfast and lunch felt unnecessary and out of place for an all-inclusive beach resort. Additionally, the age restrictions for kids using the arcade were unclear and overly restrictive, which made it difficult for families to fully enjoy the amenities.

Overall, while there were bright spots, the inconsistent service and rigid policies significantly impacted my stay. I hope management takes the these concerns seriously and makes improvements.

Girls trip with my sixteen year old daughter for the beach/pool. Large hotel, our room was on the 2nd floor of building six on the beachside. Room was very clean and well maintained. We felt that this side must be much quieter than rooms facing the water park and pool as the moonlight theatre entertainment in the evenings was very loud. We did hear quite a lot of noise from other guests in the halls. Buffet food was good, service varied one dinner great attentive server and the next we never got asked if we wanted a drink. Only ate at the Mexican restaurant and it wasn’t great. The wait at the Italian was over a hour and they don’t take reservations so we never got the chance to eat there. The hotel occupancy felt low so not sure what wait times look like at high occupancy times. We had very few interactions with staff, everyone was polite and courteous. Enjoyed the pool area (clean, plenty of loungers and towels) on the beach side but was surprised that you had to go to the bar for drinks and food no servers for the loungers. We enjoyed the coffee bar and ice cream shop. The jerk food truck was tasty. We also liked the dance entertainment shows in the evenings and that there were times that there was no entertainment activities in the pool area we were at.
