We found the resort loud and crowded. Our beach front room (4319) was close to one of the beach bars so it was forced reggae from 10-6:30 daily. Finding and reserving a chair on the beach in the shade was a competitive sport. Food was average. Nice weather, beautiful water, great tennis facilities. Overall not worth the expense for us but we are not big resort people.

Room was spectacular, the staff was very friendly, and the resort was truly all inclusive. Never felt like I needed to tip or pay for anything. The atmosphere was so nice, you are right on a great part of 7 Mile Beach and can walk to everything. Lots of food choices, and the resort itself is beautiful, not just the beach side, but also the winding paths between the buildings. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed here for our first visit to Jamaica. We loved it!! The staff were all incredibly kind, the musical artists all very talented, and the food was delicious compared to other all inclusives we’ve stayed at. We are in our early 30s and, for the most part, the crowd was on the older side - which we loved because it was relaxing and not a wild party scene. Also, check out the piano bar at night!! We saved it for our last night and wish we’d gone sooner. Super fun

We loved coming back to CSA to celebrate our 25th anniversary! We just adore Anthony at the Scuba Shack who certified us almost 20 years ago and honestly booked all our visits here just because of him!!
The beach, the staff, the quiet rooms are all wonderful after a full day of diving. The Jamaican people are lovely and resilient after such a devastating hurricane, we will be back to support them as soon as possible! One Love

View was terrific. Property was beautiful. Drinks at bar were ok, some drinks were made well, others not so much. Food in general was good but was unable to eat in the 2 better restaurants due to limited availability (one also has a collared shirt/long pants dress code, so be warned). Restaurant hours were hit or miss.
Most of the staff was extremely nice but a few of the younger ones were a little rude).
Had to cut our stay short due to hurricane but was surprised to hear that the emergency stay option for those that couldn't leave and had to shelter there were still going to be charged $300/night even with few of the regular amenities available and possibly sheltering in the conference room. I would have had a problem with that had I been forced to stay.
Were given room credits for unused days due to the hurricane that are available for 1 year, which is nice (as opposed to 90 days). It would have been impossible for us to use them again so soon had that been the case.

Rooms are set in lush vegetation and is pristine. Clean and easy to walk back and forth. Beach front room was steps from beach and bar.

Staff could be a little more friendly. Some where amazing and others seemed like they didn't want to be there.

Food was great. Reserve a table at lemon grass and feathers as many nights as possible.

Water activities are free! We didn't realize that and would have booked more.

Also Couples provides transportation from airport to resort. No need to purchase it.

We would return.

First off, I can’t possibly say enough nice things about the entire staff there. Everyone was so unbelievably kind and accommodating. As far as the overall facility, AMAZING! There is so much to do and the rooms and restaurants are amazing. Couple of highlights I would recommend: snorkeling both daytime and nighttime, the catamaran cruise, tubing, and being there for Jamaica night at the restaurant, as well at the steel drums. The vacation was worth every penny and I honestly can’t wait to return

Wonderful beach vacation

Beach is great, and the water is clear and so warm. You can easily spend all day floating on the mattress, taking breaks to go to a nearby bar and restaurant for a snack. The food was good and service was friendly. Would come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a carefree beach getaway with your loved ones.

Overall, our experience was fine. The biggest disappointment was dinning options- there’s almost no variety ( breakfast is the same every day and the buffet doesn’t have enough of options) Fruits would be gone in a second and the only thing that was good but the same every morning was omelette. Two restaurants for dinner are not open every night but the meals are good. Entertainment girls are great, the staff in general are very nice and friendly, especially glass boat crew and catamaran crew. Sports team should be nicer and bit faster.Beach is beautiful, very clean and not overcrowded. The room was clean , bed was comfortable but it wont hurt if they upgrade a bit. All in all, vacation was good because that beach is replacing all the stuff that could’ve been better.

Pros: most of the staff were amazing. They were helpful and gracious. The included activities like sailing, the glass bottom boats, entertainment, the catamaran cruise, water skiing, and daily activities were awesome! The in-room bar was great. Check-in and checkout were easy. Shuttle to and from the airport. We loved Feathers! The lounge chairs with rafts were very nice. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy the amazingly clear waters.
Cons: we were supposed to have an ocean view verandah suite. The view was of a an old boatyard, so we asked to be moved. We were given a smaller suite with a garden view, but more centrally located. It was right next to the road, so the traffic noise was awful! Also, we were told that we would receive the difference in credits. That didn’t happen. After several calls and trips to the front desk, the manager left a letter for us to share with our third party booking company. She should have upgraded our room. Instead, we got excuses. One of the larger restaurants had closed a week earlier, leaving guests with only option for breakfast. It’s a large resort, so it’s a walk to everything. The locals are constantly trying to sell you something on the beach, or asking for money, especially the guys selling weed. Pretty annoying. The trip to the craft market was awful. Lots of junk being peddled by people begging you to buy something. The same stuff in every booth. The Couples staff was great. Some of the activities staff asked for tips.

Overall it was just okay. My husband and I visited Couples Swept Away for our 3 year wedding anniversary. We are both in our mid 20s and were looking for a good mix of romance and fun. If you want to only relax, sit on the beach, and drink, this is the place for you.

Food: Food matters A LOT to us, so to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We thought the buffet options were limited and average at best. Being in Jamaica, we thought that meant access to unlimited beef patties, but nope. With 4 spots to eat on the resort, there was only 1 location that served beef/ chicken patties. The restaurant’s listed opening time was 12pm, but if you were not hanging around to see when the staff started taking orders (~11am), you were not getting a patty until the next day.

Weather: We visited first week of June, allegedly not the rainy season. I know that you can’t control the weather but it rained every single day around 1pm and didn’t stop until around 5pm which significantly cut quality beach time. Temps were high 80s.

Beach: The beach was very clean, no trash, no seaweed. It was quiet most of the time except for construction on a beachfront unit and power washing of the walkways. There were never clean towels available, you had to bring them from your room. The chairs were dirty and old. There were only a few umbrellas to sit under and they were quickly taken.

The hotel itself was amazing — the location was beautiful, and transportation to and from the resort was extremely convenient. Unfortunately, the staff and service significantly impacted our experience in a negative way.

From the moment we arrived, most of the staff came across as unhelpful and disengaged. At meals, we were consistently rushed — plates were removed the second we set our utensils down, and in some cases, they even took food we were still actively eating. What may have been intended as efficiency felt more like carelessness and disregard.

When we checked in, Benita informed us that our return transportation would be at 7:00 a.m., despite our flight not departing until noon. When I questioned the early pickup time, her response was, \"Well, if you want to pay $160, be my guest.\" The tone was dismissive and unprofessional, which set a poor tone for the rest of the stay.

Throughout the resort, particularly at the bars and restaurants, staff appeared untrained and uninterested in customer service. We frequently overheard staff bickering with each other, which added to the uncomfortable atmosphere.

That said, I want to acknowledge Orlando at the restaurant and Torgia at the coffee bar who stood out as the only staff member who consistently provided excellent service. His professionalism and attentiveness were a much-needed bright spot during our stay.

What an amazing trip! We’re so glad we chose Couples Swept Away and will definitely be back. This was our first all-inclusive, and we were nervous about the food—but it far exceeded expectations. Lots of variety, great quality, and the morning breakfast delivery was a lovely touch.

The grounds are stunning, and we loved walking the property. The groundskeepers were friendly and happy to share info about the plants. The beach is beautiful—yes, you’ll need to get up early for a palapa, but there are still shaded options later in the day.

We’re not big bar people, but drinks were always served with a smile. If you love piña coladas, consider ordering coconut rum with pineapple juice instead—the pre-mix wasn’t our favorite.

The gym is excellent, and the lap pool is a great way to cool off. The only drawbacks were no coed sauna and a less-than-clean hot tub.

Our room was fantastic—comfortable bed, deep sleep every night, and excellent housekeeping. Most staff were friendly and helpful (a few weren’t, but that happens everywhere).

Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and often said aloud how happy we were with our choice. If you come with a good attitude and open mind, you’ll have an amazing time at CSA.

The food? Absolutely incredible — hands down the best we’ve ever had on vacation. The resort is spotless, the beaches are pristine, and the atmosphere is peaceful and full of love.

We were blessed with fresh coconuts, mangoes, and more, gifted by the generous people around us. We even made lifelong friends — something we never expected but now treasure deeply.

After overcoming the quality/condition of the bus transfer (2 hours trip) and the first day hiccup over the provided room this stay turned into one of the most relaxing and beautiful trips! The place is very well maintained and of pleasant appearance. The service from room, the little bistro in the lobby, service at the lovely beach, at the bars and in the restaurants was truly good; we left tips for several staff! the quality and variety of food (especially the local foods!) fantastic; gym, spa, tennis court, water sports activities, life music, basket weaving, painting …if one finds themselves bored or unsatisfied…work it out in therapy! Three things though to consider: 1. the “east side” with the atrium houses off the lobby and close to the “Palms” restaurant and beach offer the most lovely environment between lush palm and mango trees and one can see or hear rare birds; try to get a second floor room for additional privacy! the “west side” has a more “group”/apartment style feeling. 2. From early to late locals offer to sell a variety of drugs; guards generally keep them at bay along the shore line but the smell in particular in the west side section indicates guest’s appreciation to “smoke”. 3. If you are allergic to cats … there are a lot … but mostly minding their own business. Definitely recommend for “couples”, be at those of new found love or those to celebrate their evergreen love anniversaries. Will return !

My husband and I just returned from an amazing stay at Couples Swept Away. We did all the research as we knew this stay was special considering we would be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.
We have been Jamaricans for the last 25 years and I can say without hesitation CSA is the BEST experience to date!
We fell in love with the staff, all the couples we had the pleasure of meeting and will definitely be booking the annual trip back!

We never received our bottle of sparkling wine and we asked 2x. I fell on a ramp that was slippery and injured my knee. A report was filled out and I seen a nurse. No one ever checked to see how I was doing.. I used crutches and a wheelchair.. we were locked out of our room 2 days prior to leaving and needed to get a new key bracelets to enter. It was deactivated.. the property needs upgrades very badly.. 2 hot tubs did not work.. ramps and steps should have something on them to prevent slipping.. there were other people complaining of falling. The beach and ocean were gorgeous.. some staff waiters waitresses and maintenance people were very friendly but desk staff and managers were not.. I don’t know if I would go back..

The staff and service was excellent! Very friendly and accomodating. The property is beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The property buildings could use a little paint here and there, but considering the salt air, that is to be expected anywhere on a tropical island.
The beach is beautiful and the Jamacian music culture is everywhere! We ran into many couples who had been there many times. I hope that my wife and I can be included in a return trip someday!

We’ve stayed there a number of times. Staff were not friendly or engaging like during previous stays. Activities did not occur as scheduled. Did not even know who the activity director was. All inclusive resort used to always have security on the beach to keep trespassers out. This stay kid’s stopping playing volleyball on the property and locals selling marijuana at the beach bar with out anyone saying a word. And I requested a specific room we had in the past, facility always accommodated requests in the past this time they did not

All in all the place is beautiful and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend couples Swept Away. We have twice stayed in an atrium suite room. The room was perfect for us. However, if nightlife is important to your trip, I would suggest a different booking. There are plenty of things to do in the area in the evening, however all the property offers is a piano bar, That is mostly mellow. the aura nightclub is not quite the party environment you would think.
The many different food options were great. We also took advantage of the free catamaran trip. That was also fun. the ability to relax and take advantage of day Activities is available every day.
To summit up beautiful place, nice staff, safe environment, good food. Zero nightlife.

Very good for a first time visitor to Jamaica. Liked the trip from the airport and back to see the countryside. Once you relax like a Jamaican, you treat the staff with respect and try to make out the Patois between hosts. Great gym but could use a few more items like ski ergs and steel kettlebells. Great food and lots of it. Coffee bar was well appreciated just after an early walk on the beach.

Great food. Lots of options. We didn't even try every restaurant during our 9 day stay.

Rooms were clean, with daily cleaning at around 11 and turn down service at night.

Beach is amazing. With plenty of shade/full sun options. Thou if you want the best seats you do need to get up early ( 6-7am ish).

Water sports were our favorite. All included in your stay.

Only downside is the smoking, even thou it's not allowed, with dedicated areas provided, you see people smoke everywhere. Really not a strike against hotel, but people being special.

The only reason why i would recommend this hotel is the beach/water and the turndown/ cleaning room service . we were there for 5 nites and we couldnt even touch reservations at the 2 places that required them, but yet they were closed on Sunday and another place closed on Monday AND Thu!. i did not pay 5 star money to eat at a Buffett 2 nights and 2 mornings cause no other choices. There was water stains and ceiling peeling right on top of the tables at the buffet and the one night it rained the dance floor had a puddle right in the middle of it. we asked if we can go try to restaurants at the sister resort. negative.
.. the bathroom door in the room was too swollen or perhaps the floor was uneven so u couldnt open/close without a terrible noise. the tiles in the bathroom had black between them. time for a resort update!
While the idea of no tipping is great in theory, the only thing it accomplishes is a lax attitude on the resort from entire staff. they are nice and courteous but no-one goes the extra mile for you. a dollar and a smile goes a long way so do so from the beginning.
The drinks at restaurants and on the beach all tasted the same as if they were pouring vodka outta rum bottle and viceversa.
The catamaran cruise was one of the perks we enjoyed, id recommend booking it in advance. its an afternoon cruise starting at 3:45.
Every time we left a note at the \"concierge\" 2 days later was gone.. like waiting list for the restaurants an extra blanket etc.

The property and beach are beautiful, with a reef just a five-minute boat ride away, offering amazing snorkeling. The beach has both shaded and sunny areas, making it perfect for relaxation. The catamaran trip was fun, especially swimming in a cave. However, the service was disappointing. When we checked in maintenance was notified right away that our AC did not work and it took hours and several calls and we were moved to a different room without a view and when we complained maintenance finally came and fixed the AC and we were able to move back. The water sports attendants were rude and unhelpful. The first two days the wakeboarding boat was broken and we asked if they could call us when it was fixed they said no just keep checking in each morning. We asked for the clear canoe they said we wouldn't be able to see anything come back later. They also tried to talk us out of sailing saying the wind wasn't good. We insisted this time and had a great sailing experience. We thought the no tipping would be a benefit but the service suffered too much. They rules are very restrictive for dinner reservations and water sports so plan accordingly. Not everything is as advertised. They say a free shuttle to Ricks, it's actually $18 per person. No bus to Margaritaville but it is not a far walk. While the natural beauty of the resort was stunning, the lack of service and unclear communication made it hard to justify the high price. Not likely to return given the overall experience.

Overall it’s a nice property but reservations for on-property restaurants are EXTREMELY limited to completely unavailable and the competition for beach chairs is downright annoying. In sum, it’s nice enough, staff is very friendly and the beach is beautiful, but it not special at all just good.

This is a very romantic resort but at the same time very alive and crowded.
There is a feeling of being very intimate while being surrounded by many people
Breathtaking grounds and vegetation crystal clear water candle night dinners with the sound of frogs and crickets it’s a dreamy atmosphere

We didn’t know what to expect. We were very pleased right from the great welcome service at the airport.
We were unexpectedly upgraded to a very nice room
The room was spacious with a nice balcony. It appeared that there aren’t any rooms with bad proximity.
Food is very good. Even though we only had 2 dinners at the two fancy restaurants it really was ok. The other options are very good. So much variety with eating options. Although Feathers for fine dining was awesome.
Most importantly to mention- the beach is amazing. So spacious. We’ve never been on a beach this big and nice.
Lastly we found it interesting that everyone we spoke to were returnees - multiple times. And everyone was staying 10 days or more some 2 3 and 4 weeks!?

The staff are wonderful. We did have to see the nurse Mailor for a skin abrasion and she was so professional and kind. We had to go to the offsite clinic close by for antibiotics. That was even simple and staff was great.

I do like to go to visit different places but it is very possible we would come back again and again. We had been to Montego Bay but negril was worth the ride to the other side.

Only negatives it’s 1 1/2 drive from the airport. But it really was fine. Just cut into the time. The pools were underwhelming but with a beach like this people aren’t coming for that. Shower was strange. There was no door just a short wall so water would get out if not careful. They could use updates in this area.
But a really great place.

Nice Place. Was not allowed to upgrade room as a platinum member. Was not allowed to have any input in room selection. The food was over the top awesome compared to other places we have stayed. The Atrium suite was very nice (No T.V.). The patio was also very nice. The live entertainment left something to be desired. Lots of walking to get from food to bars. the staff was friendly. Would recommend

The beach is beautiful and well-maintained. The resort offers a wide variety of included excursions as well as daily onsite activities. Dining and bar hours conflict with website info. There was no beach drink service even though noted on website, however there are multiple beach tiki bars. Noisy at night from other area resorts.
