My room was moldy I have to buy air freshener to survive my 4 nights . Four nights and my room was cleaned once even after I spoke to the front desk . I went back that night and still dirty room . They end up cleaning the last night I was there . Place was damaged from Melissa and they just patched it up and rented it out. That should be illegal . Bugs all over . Leaking bath tub garbage piled up . My first night I remove the top sheet and found soiled toilet paper was under the sheet . I have pictures to prove . Blood stains on sheet. Disgusting place . Should be shut down.

Our room was in the second apartment from the beach on the upper floor. Everyday housekeeper Dona cleaned our room, gave us fresh towels, made the bed, and placed beautiful flowers on the beds. Whenever we came back to the room it felt like the first time we came in from how nice and clean it was. The other staff were very attentive and helped with any problems we had. There is a beautiful walkway to get to your apartment, with lots of greenery and flowers on the sides. The pool is nice and cool, especially after the hot tub.. which was always a bit too hot in the afternoon and we had to tell staff to turn it down. There are beach towels, loungers and sun umbrellas available. The beach is a little small and if you don't come earlier then you have limited space to lay down.. but you can always walk past the hotel beach and lay somewhere else. The water was perfect everyday and good for nonswimmers as well, as it's not deep for quite a while. The restaurant has delicious food and drinks, but is a bit pricey and so we often went and got food from local vendors. I recommend doing that as their food is absolutely amazing! There is a busy road right next to the apartments, but we fell asleep fine. The area is safe and everyone is very friendly. Even walking at night has been fine. Also, I Recommend bringing lots of cash (local cash) as many places don't take cards.

The hotel was very close to the main event spots for the Dream weekend and few steps to the Jungle Club. The restaurant meals were top of the line, super delicious. House keepers did an awesome job cleaning and towel decorations were delightfully arranged with flowers. I am highly recommending this location that sits on the beachfront.

Our stay at Rondel Village was average and we will not return. Upon checkin, there was chaos, disorganization and lack of efficiency. The room was clean, but outdated and lacking essentials, like shampoo and conditioner. Our in-room safe did not work and after several unsuccessful attempts to repair/replace it, we resorted to storing our valuables in a friend's safe. We ran out of toilet paper and towels a couple of times, even after our room was cleaned. Our housekeeper also removed our quilt for \"cleaning\" and it was not replaced for 2 nights, even after requesting to have it back. There is a nightclub that stays open until 4am on Thurs & Sat night that is very loud directly next to the resort, making it difficult to sleep.
The beach, pools and hot tubs are nice and kept clean. We felt safe at the resort, but were constantly harassed by people trying to sell us things on the street & beach. The restaurant is convenient, drinks are good, but be prepared to pay above US pricing.
For the price and experience, I would not recommend visiting Rondel Village or Negril.

We loved our stay at Rondel Village! It is located right in the middle of Seven Mile beach and near everything you need. Rondel is a small resort which allows you to get to know the people who work there as well as the other guests. We quickly felt like family after arriving. They have live music once a week, there is live music next door three times a week, and live music within walking distance every night of the week. The beach is amazing, the food is wonderful, and the pools and hot tubs are fabulous. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, we love that this is a Jamaican owned resort, and we most definitely plan to return as soon as we can.

I like this spot, very quiet and they have 2 properties. It’s best to get the property with the villas that is on the beach. The place was well manicured and the staff was great. My only complaint is I didn’t have a Microwave in the room I stayed but the staff in the restaurant allow me to use theirs.

Travelled to Negril for a day trip and ended up staying the night. Rondel village was our pick after review of available facilities. The property was clean, staff friendly and attentive. We stayed at the property across the street from the beach but went over to enjoy the beach front in the morning. We didn't try the breakfast/restaurant there as other reviewers mentioned that it is expensive. We found surrounding local places to dine as we were mobile. Walkable restaurants around. This place will be at the top of my list for a family gathering at the end of this year.

Upon arrival, the internet on the opposite of the road was not working at all. I called the front desk & the young lady immediately transferred me to the beach side to another room in which I appreciated. The running water (sink & shower) in the room was not working but I didn’t complain. By morning, the water was up & running. I stayed at this hotel about 20yrs ago & this is my 1st time returning back. I got to enjoy the pool & jacuzzi. I was pleased with the upgrades & professionalism of the staff.

You only gave 80 to 100 feet of beach and that isnt much. The rooms are great, the food at restaurant is good but slow and they need better pans in family rooms and coffee. The pans were terrible. This is a good place, but every time we went on beach we were approached for excursions or illegal stuff. It got old fast. Place is great, but last time ill ever go to negril. Every person is hustling tips outside of rondel. 10 percent service and 10 percent tax before tip. One lady tried charging us 16.5 percent to book an excursion. No thanks....

Manager was rude, a very old outdated building they kept turning the water off in the late evening hours if we had to go to the restroom, the toilet will not flush we couldn’t wash our hands. Couldn’t take a shower when we came in from being out, they put us in the wrong room with two full-size beds hard as a rock by the way mosquitoes everywhere we got bit so bad the whole time we were there, it was awful. They charge me $600 for the deposit when initially it was supposed to only been 300 according to their own contract online. I had to contact my bank to get my money back because they were horrible and they still did not put me in another room , they have blinds that people can see through your rooms and very bad experience and I will never go back there ever. The restaurant is just so-so… depends on the chef. The female chef was Okay. depending on which chef you got…

Even though we were in an older room we very much appreciated the cleanliness of the room. We had a garden view which included a close view of other balconies and we felt it was relaxing and had a feeling of being away from the busy area of Negril. The floral and trees were very nicely arranged. The water side of the Rondel Village had easy access to the beach and dining area. The location to other places on the seven mile beach was just right. Both my wife and I felt the friendliness of the staff was actually the main reason we will be back.
