Room was relatively clean and the staff was friendly but the property was not at all what we expected.

The dining room felt like an old supper club, nearly all vegetation on the property was dead, the surfaces near the cliffs were extremely worn, some of the patio furniture and day beds were completely rotted.

This property needs some serious TLC and updating.

Love everything about the cliff side resort. Staff go above and beyond for all tourists. The food is exceptionally tasty as it is all genuine homemade food prepared right at this resort. The views are breathtaking, this resort gives you definitely a sense of peace.

This is our second visit back and it was just as wonderful as the first! Samara treats you like family from when you first enter until you leave. Everyone always has a smile and is happy to help you in anyway. We stayed in the garden bungalows again and we just love how spacious and beautiful they are. Sea view room was good just some small things needed some attention. Can't speak for other rooms. Small older resort that was very quiet for the most part but the road in front of the resort is loud during the day. Staff was great. Not your typical resort for food. the cooks handled all the food and you didn't have a big buffet with cold food setting out getting cold. A picky eater may not like it but our group thought it was all good and was a nice change from the large resorts.They have another resort with a beach that can be a little crowded.

This is not an all inclusive for one you eat at certain times like a prisoner. Limited selection and have to wait in line to eat like you are receiving free lunch at a soup kitchen. The pool was dirty and hotel was so run down it’s comparable to what you would think a cheap hourly no tell motel the beds are hard it’s beyond run down pictures are definitely deceiving.

All the staff was super nice and helpful. No complaints there. However the place itself looked nothing like pictures. It was old and run down for what I paid. They have a really nice and scenic spot though. Bathroom was dirty and old and leaking and the room was kinda small.

The front desk staff were excellent! Very friendly, and helpful. They always had a smile on their faces.

The room was clean and well maintained daily.
We didn't have any face clothes (wash clothes) during our 3 day stay. We had sufficient towels.

We ate at the on-site restaurant on 3 occasions during our stay. We had 1 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. The breakfast and lunch were okay.We were, however, disappointed with dinner. It wasn't up to the usual standard we are accustomed to from local restaurants in Negril. We opted to eat out for the remainder of the meals in restaurants that were known to us.

Overall we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to experience the west end (cliffs) of Negril.

The place looked dreary and worn out. The TV did not turn off and the phone to call the front desk in the room did not work. The housekeeper was annoyed because we requested for new sheets and a new cover. The sheets on the bed were dirty and felt disgusting. Don’t go to this place save your money. As soon as we got there I asked the receptionist if I could cancel and get a refund. There was nothing to do there no entertainment and just a dry place to stay. It’s more like a hotel to just stay an overnight in. Don’t waste your time and money. Please I beg you!!!!

If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax then this would be an ideal place to stay, however it’s a little further away from the strip where most activities are located so you will definitely need to have transportation. The hotel provides a shuttle to legends beach. Food options are also limited. Overall it’s a good place with a great view and friendly staff.

I couldn't really ask for more. I got the all inclusive and whike they had technically 1 restaurants, i was always filled and satisfied. I. Property is beautiful. The sunset view from the cliffs is breath taking. We stayed in the garden bungalow for a week and absolutely fell in love with Samsara. The staff is what made this trip 6 stars! 100/10 for the staff. Our taxi ride with Junior started the trip off right. Was a long transfer but he was our personal guide and taught us so much of the country and culture. From start to finish we were treated like family. I might spell a couple names wrong but huge THANK YOU to Marcia, Kimica, Georgia, Rasta, George, Andrew, Jason, and Peter. And so many more I can’t remember all the names. We loved the food, staff, and atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Staff as amazing at the resort Samsara Cliff Resort. My family and I had 7 amazing days. The resort is perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from busy life. The cliff jumping is a scary at first but unique and thrilling experience. They have 3 great pools however the middle one was our favorite. The drinks are good and the food AMAZING. It was all authentic Jamaican food for breakfast,lunch and dinner. Georgia the chef is very sweet, don’t be intimidated to say hello to her. She was very attentive to us and greeted us with smiles. I appreciate the staff remembering our name. Georgia cooking was delicious, the chicken, fries, salads, fried dumplings, the scramble eggs, jerk chicken, and oxtail all delicious. Inalee the waitress came by with the best coffee and warm milk and was taking our plates and filling up our waters. Super sweet young lady with a beautiful smile. She is soft spoken and very professional and respectful. Never got the cleaning ladies names however they cleaned our rooms every day and gave us fresh towels. I don’t want to forget to mention Tina. She is such a ray of sunshine. She made great drinks and was very quick to suggest something if you asked. She was lovely to us every time we asked for a drink and made conversation sharing about herself and the Jamaican culture. She answered all our questions and told us about the TEMU store :) I appreciate all the staff from the gardener who greeted us with a good morning to the watchman/security.

The properties was well taken care off, room cleaned on a regular bases and views just breath taken. The food option was okay since we were odering from the menu and not eating from the buffet. Internet access good tranportation okay but expensive if you where to go other places out the resort be prepared. Since the sheets was white i think it could be more cleaner. Room could use a little microwave to warm up a late night meal. Other than that ill would reconmmend this resort to a friend or a family member.

The parking was an issue. I had a late night. No space was available. There was a motorbike in a parking spot which was the only spot. When I said it to the security he responding that I can moved it. When I asked him if I was expected to move the motorbike, he came and removed it and gave us the parking. Food was good. The property needs updating. The cold water faucet is broken. There are no outlets in the bathroom. You only get two bath towels. There is no entertainment. Parking is inconvenient and dangerous. The lot is across a busy street.

It may not have as many bells and whistles as some other resorts , but what it does offer is a comfortable family like setting where you get to know the employees and they get to know you and seen genuinely nice.
So there may be a little things that could’ve been updated in my room… It was comfortable and clean and provided a great view. Little things like shampoo or conditioner or body wash would’ve been nice to have in the room and a hairdryer… But they did provide one… No USB port so make sure you bring a plug/usb port
Honestly, though… None of that mattered because the people were so great the breakfast buffet… The pools… I enjoy, jumping off the cliffs… The resident cat, Ginger, is such a sweetie pie. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat…

They fool us does not look anything like the property on the website before booking. Especially it’s a birthday gateway and don’t like how did deluxe was separated from the other side. It’s how they made. This resort was not what we expected. We expected high expectation from this resort. Overall, I can see the staff were very friendly, but the property itself needs to be clean. A maintenance need to prioritize with timing with returning all clean stuff together instead of being separated. If you were looking for a bougie place, this is not a place for you. This is just a place to stay and leave the resort to other places to do your activities in exclusion.

Amazing view. Kind staff. Good food. Firm beds. Nice pool. Comfortable loungers. Beautiful ocean. Good open air massages. This boutique hotel is not for someone looking to be waited on hand and foot. If you want to be left alone to relax and unwind, Samsara is perfect. Staff is there when you need them but you can spend the whole day on the cliffs, sun bathing, diving from the cliffs, swimming, snorkeling and reading and not have to interact with anyone other than your party. It's a mini paradise.
