We had a great time overall. We loved the decor, the cleanliness, friendly staff, and the food was great. The entertainment at the pool was fun but we found our selves looking for more things to do in the evening. We understand the hotel is newer and they still need to add more options so we just made the most of it and had an amazing time either way.

You had to learn the switches in the room.As far as turning off and turning on things. there should have been a map as to where everything's were. A reminder board about
Activities that were happening during the day needed to be available. The lighting could have been better outside at night. It was a nice place. I felt like it took me almost two days to learn the place before I knew where things were. We had to take our luggage to the front at departure even though they told us to call before which I did 30 minutes prior and no one came or no one ever checked to see. It's about us checking out. No, thank you for your stay.The night before to remind you of what you needed to do. No one said thank you for your stay.

The property was in good shape, the room stayed clean, and the food when cooked correctly was good. We stayed almost a week but had some difficulties at the airport which delayed our trip. The hotel would not reimburse us for the day we did not make it there due to 5 flight delays that we had no control over. The management team would not even entertain any sort of credit. This would make me not stay in the future as there is no controlling if you cannot fly to your destination.

What a wonderful experience!!! Truly a dream staying in the overwater bungalow. We had a private chofer to and from the hotel. The room even came with 24 hr butler service. The hotel was really clean. The staff throughout the property was soo lovely, helpful, and attentive. 5 stars for sure! My husband and I really enjoyed the food at the restaurants even the buffet area. What a trip! We will definitely be going back but staying for longer.

First and foremost the resort was beautiful, but the experience was tainted by the lack of hospitality and friendliness of the staff. Also the food at the buffet was not good at all, besides the jerk chicken and salad that is served @ “the reef”. The drinks also were lack luster. The resort could use a lot of work regarding those things mentioned. Especially the lack of poolside service as well. There were hardly any staff that came over to ask if we needed anything. Also be aware that there is a 15 dollar service fee every time you order room service. For me personally i’m not use to the poor hospitality.

This resort recently opened, so everything felt brand new and impeccably maintained. We stayed on the adults-only side, while still having access to the entire resort, which made the experience even better. One thing that really stood out was the restaurant layout — all of the restaurants are conveniently located in one area, which was a great concept, and the food was phenomenal throughout our stay.

The activities were enjoyable overall, but the highlight for us was definitely the “Paint & Sip.” Surprisingly, it wasn’t advertised on the resort app, and we only discovered it because someone approached us while we were relaxing in the lobby. We even brought our canvas home with us as a reminder of such a memorable trip.

One area that could be improved would be the daytime food options available at the bars, as the selection felt a bit limited.

To top it all off, the resort even has a dispensary on-site — something we never expected to see at a resort. We also didn’t realize there was a casino until we received a review notification afterward, so better promotion of some of the resort amenities could enhance the guest experience even more.
We will be back in the future.

Beautiful ressort with friendly and professional staff. The Junior suite was clean, modern, beautifully decorated with a gorgeous ocean view. There are multiple cafe and snack bars around the resort with beautiful swimming pools. Many restaurants offering global food options; we tried them out and the food was amazing. My partner and I had a wonderful experience and we will definitely come back.

We had the best time of our lives, period. Everyone was amazing, and the people really do make the experience.

Our Butler, Liam, was incredible… always going out of his way to make sure things were exactly as we hoped they would be. From booking couples massages, to helping me get change so I could tip staff, he was incredible. Liam helped me organize a beautiful, private, breakfast on the day we checked out.

The day before checkout, My wife and I had a romantic dinner on the beach planned. Unfortunately, the rain made it so the beach was not an option. Liam and our waiter Shaquan, made sure that they found a secluded garden spot to have our dinner instead, and it was fantastic. The food was also amazing. Because of the rain, Liam and Shaquan went out of their way, by leaving rose petals all over our room. With touches like swans made of towels and a warm bath drawn w rose petals in the water. It was so special.

Our driver from and to the airport, ORondo, became a friend, and I value the time we got to spend with him.

Finally, we’d like to also thank Jahmone. He helped drive us around the facility by golf cart. Whether we needed to go to the front lobby or a ride to the Platinum lounge, he always seemed to be there. Jahmone is a young man in his early 20s and his work ethic and customer service were that of a seasoned veteran.

We can’t wait to come back to The Princess Senses Mangrove. This place is paradise.

Rated 4 stars based on the following: The room, we had a swim out suite, is definitely 5 star as is the resort staff. The gym and hydrotherapy were also 5 star. My wife had a 3 star experience at the spa - mine was 4 star. Where things broke down was in the food department and the party culture. The food was 3 stars at best, staff is amazing and attentive, but the food just was not that good. They tried really hard to upscale the dining experience by providing individual themed restaurants in addition to the buffet. But none of them were really any better than what you can get at the buffet. Food in general was just ok - kinda meh. The party culture was not ideal, the resort seemed to change with the crowd. The weekend was full of wedding parties so the music was blaring all day and late into the night. We did not enjoy the music at all so that left us to sit inside or tolerate it.

Can’t recommend this place enough. My boyfriend and I loved it. So much better compared to other all inclusives I been too….especially the food and drinks which I thought were great! Staff was amazing so friendly and always so helpful. Also whenever I go to all inclusives your basically fighting for seats by pool and beach, that didn’t happen ONCE! It actually felt like I had the whole beach to myself cause nobody was there- it was wonderful! Clean, safe, and you’ll never be bored. Worth every penny.

Overall, Princess Senses charges premium prices for what should be a luxury adults-only experience, but the service and hospitality simply did not match the price point. The resort looks beautiful, and the rooms photograph nicely, but beyond the aesthetics, the experience was disappointing. I’ve stayed at more affordable resorts with significantly friendlier staff, better service, more activities, and a more welcoming atmosphere.

Sadly, based on my experience, I would not return.

We had an amazing stay and could not have asked for a better experience. The hotel staff was outstanding from start to finish and truly made our trip special. Jason at check-in was welcoming, professional, and got our vacation started on the perfect note. The platinum staff in the bar by building 5 is on point! The shuttle drivers are also very friendly. Our butlers, Liam and Cade, went above and beyond every day to make sure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and genuine care made us feel completely taken care of.

The entire property was beautiful, relaxing, and well-maintained, but the service is what really stood out. Everyone we encountered was kind and attentive. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

We stayed at princess senses mangrove from May 1-4 2026 to celebrate my birthday and at first sight the room and property were beautiful. The hot tub on the balcony looked just like the photos but when we went to use it rust from the knobs we’re floating in the water brown rust, but we still loved the room itself the the staff treated us well. On day two is when the issues started the power went out during the afternoon and my husband got stuck in the elevator while I was on the beach (the beach is man made by the way half sand half rocks) . On Sunday the power went out again for over a hour we went to the buffet and people were walking around using their phone lights to get food and the food wasn’t even hot or cooked all the way it was absolutely crazy. The power continued to go off Sunday night which made our room uncomfortably hot which triggered my asthma so I didn’t get any sleep, When we checked out Monday and I asked to speak to someone about my experience I was told no one was available and that someone would reach out to me and as of today haven’t heard from anyone. For the amount of money we paid for three nights I was expecting better service or at least some kind of communication and compensation for the power going out. As for everything else the reef buffet is good but closes earlier the main buffet is good as well I liked breakfast the best. The waiter and waitress and bellhops are friendly and attentive but as far as management the service is horrible.

I really enjoyed my birthday celebration. The only let down was the massage prices. This the first trip I didn’t get some type of Spa service. The entertainment crew were so energetic and friendly I have to give shout out to Naomi she had us dancing all night. Outer favorite Bartender was Juanita she made some very creative delicious drinks. Christopher on the Bell hop staff was so welcoming he made coming in joyful and leaving a see you later type thing. We will definitely recommend this place and come back.
Needs improvement- The after 10pm food choices.

Our stay at Princess Senses The Mangrove was nothing short of amazing. My husband, sister-in-law, and I came to celebrate both of us turning 50 this year, and it turned into one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. We’ve visited many all-inclusive resorts, but this one is by far the best—the people, food, and property all exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, Vanton in the main lobby made us feel so welcome. The food was outstanding, with Kanye at the Food Market and Lamont at El Delirio providing excellent service. The Platinum experience truly elevated our stay—Savannah (concierge) was incredible, and our butlers Rajuan and Glaister went above and beyond every day. Teanna and Trevoy at the Platinum Restaurant were also fantastic.
The spa team—Caulette, Cherry, and Brittney—gave us such relaxing treatments. Jodadene kept the pool atmosphere fun, and the entertainment team—Dalette Shantal (Berry), Destiny, and Daniel (Situation)—were full of energy and made each day memorable. Even the gym, thanks to Daniel, was top-notch.
We highly recommend this resort and are already planning our return next year!

Just returned from a week of bliss at Princess Senses. it was a dad and daughter holiday which pushed all the right buttons for both. My girl is a water baby so she loved the swim-up room and I loved the size and feel of the room. It was immaculate, kept that way by a marvellous housekeeping staff. As a senior, walking was doable but also optional. Lots of transport available, either on call or just driving by. The food was fabulous..not only at the buffet but the numerous à la cartes, which except for one, didn’t need a reservation. Special mention to the ever fabulous Kanye (East) and “Divine” Devon in the buffet and Tanece in an à la carte Fusion 360..our favorite. Also a real star was our bartender at the Lobby bar, Mishka who poured a generous drink along with an attitude that defined service. Everywhere were wonderful people in serve staff and entertainment. Met a real firecracker who was a performer at the Starlight theatre, Shantal. Watch out, world! You’re going to hear about her! Also another delightful star, Naome just bubbled with personality. Such beautiful people everywhere, always smiling and seeking to please. Hard to believe that many lost everything in the hurricane. This, they never talk about unless you ask..and then you see the pain. Such a resilient and strong people.
It was a wonderful holiday at a magical place..the very best I and my daughter have experienced. First time in Jamaica but certainly not the last!

The property was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. The room was kept very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenities it had to offer. Additionally, the staff was absolutely incredible. On our last full day of our trip, the power went out, causing some dinners to be cancelled, however, the staff continued to provide excellent service through it all and were more than generous, even going as far to apologize for something out of their control. We had the best time speaking with multiple staff members (who soon became our friends), playing organized activities by the pool, and enjoying all of the delicious food the resort had to offer. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Cannot recommend this resort enough. It is absolutely beautiful! Staff was amazing. It’s the best food I’ve ever had at an AI, both in the variety and in the quality. It is worth upgrading the platinum just for the butler service alone. Glaister and Rajuan were our butlers and we will be requesting them when we go back.

The property was beautiful and the staff was, overall, excellent. There were a few areas that we would like to be improved. FOOD: The drink service at every restaurant was really slow. The Mangrove and Jamaica buffets were ok but all the bread was dry and hard. We are not sure why there were no coffee refills and they would not just give you cream/milk for the table. They had to pour it for you, which we thought was odd and inconvenient. We had terrible service at Umami but the sushi was good. Il Palazzo was gross. The steak was the kind your get at Applebee's and the risotto was like wallpaper paste. Excellent sommelier who suggested an affordable bottle of red that was lovely. El Delerio was ok but didn't wow us. Jam Rock was really good. The curry goat and oxtail were delicious. Robert's Flame was excellent with high quality meat and delicious cocktails. Fusion was really good the first time we went but, when we went back, the fish on the fish curry was slimy. No bueno. ROOM. Pleasure Jr. Suite on the top floor was wonderful but the round bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. Incredible views and the hot tub on the balcony facing the ocean was magnificent. Room kept clean and extra towels were no problem. We were able to utilize the on beach cabanas a few days and that was so relaxing. Would have liked service at the cabanas but the walk to either of the pool bars was short. They kept the beach beautifully. Overall, a lovely relaxing stay.

We just got back from a few days at this hotel, and we were impressed by both the staff and the property. The room was beautiful, thanks to the great job housekeeping did. Greeting guests and checking on how your stay is going is clearly a top priority for all the staff.

There is something for everyone here. Engaging and fun entertainment to pure relaxation on the spotless beach. The pools were warm, and the cool tub was refreshing!

The drinks flowed thanks to the fast service. There was a creative selection of cocktails, and the variety of food at the buffet was endless. The restaurants for dining were nice as well.

Any negative comments from other travellers stating the staff was unfriendly are completely untrue.

We spent Monday through Friday; we stayed at the on the platinum level and it was a blast! The bars and restaurants were top tier. Our rooms, the halls lobbies, beaches and restaurants were super clean. The bars poured strong drinks. The spa was incredibly relaxing along with the hydrotherapy area. Everyone was so lovely. It was the best time.

Beautiful beach but its not the best beach sand for walking and swimming in unless you are in the boey area, water is so calm and lovely though. Cool that most rooms are beach front with pools too. Rooms are big and beautiful too

This was the best resort we’ve stayed at and we’ve been to a ton of islands. From the entire staff- the customer service was amazing. The most polite, friendly and attentive staff. The food was AMAZING! The drinks were top notch also! There was so much to do at night from shows at the piano bar and over on the family side which the adult side had access to. There was also a night club and sports bar if you didnt want to stop your night after the 9 pm shows. Every single room has an ocean view and are spacious, modern and very clean. The entire property is a photo opportunity. We will absolutely be returning back and for longer next time! Thank you to the entire staff, this resort gets a 5+ star review rating from us!

I absolutely loved this resort. The buffet breakfast was amazing and the staff was so friendly. The only thing that I didn’t like was that it was always so hot in our room but other than that, our stay was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

Don’t waste time with pre check in. You’re still sat at the lobby with everyone else to wait for over an hour to check in. It took us nearly 2 hours to check in and we didn’t even bother to wait for the shuttle to bring our bags up. We were told to wait for someone to help us, got tired of that, and once we started walking suddenly we were offered help. We came in on a private cab so it’s not like we showed up with a group from a shuttle. The people on the shuttle that showed up 15-20 minutes after us were getting helped before we were and we were pre checked in! The activity schedule means nothing, it’s rarely happening and never on time. The breakfast buffet was so boring after the first 2 days. Had more lunch/dinner options than breakfast and was pretty much the same each day. The evening entertainment was drastically toned down from our last trip to this resort. Many of the activities and entertainment were shut down with no notice at all.

Amenities – multiple pools, nightlife, spa, activities, and even rooftop experiences
Adults-only energy – chill when you want it, but still a vibe when you step into party areas

Overall stay was good, staff was helpful and any issues I had was rectified. If you are thinking of booking the Mangrove side, save yourself some cash and just do the Grande side instead, majority of things you want to do and restaurants are over that side either way. The are shuttle services readily available to take you all over the property.

The property was amazing, lots of options for food (overall food was just OK, nothing great) bars, pools, coffee. Rooms were super nice and clean, great views. Pool areas and bars were spectacular & plenty of room on private beach to hang out. The main issue was the staff at the bars, buffets and around the pool. Many staff were unfriendly and did not attempt to go out of their way to make sure guest were being served and having a good time. Many staff seemed like they were being bothered when you asked for a drink and/or to order food. Everyday at the breakfast buffet we were never offered refills of water or coffee. When we went to ask for more we were assured someone would bring them to us, but it never happened. We been to many all inclusive resorts and this was overall the least friendly staff we have encountered. The resort itself was amazing, but the staff itself took away from the overall experience you get from and all-inclusive resorts.

This place has moved up the list to my favorite resort in Jamaica. I love how all rooms have a view of the ocean and they are very clean and modern. My only complaints would be there should be a food truck option on the adults side as that's a long walk to the family side or you have to wait for a cart and still have to do some walking to get to it. Also inconsistency in dress code enforcement at platinum club restaurant, that I didn't appreciate but overall I enjoyed my experience and would stay again.
