My Expedia booking, made 10 mths ago, was not in their computer system. I had to book a room at higher rate on the spot. I was asked many \"silly\" questions about my booking by two staff members for 10' until the front office manager appeared to tell me it was their new system that \"forgot\" about my Expedia booking which he entered manually. I was given the room in 2 minutes. The nightmare was: I was told their hotel got no connection with Expedia and would not give me a note, document, supporting my claim for refund from Expedia. It is a franchised hotel of the Choice Hotel group.

The Best Downtown Tianjin Hotel for the Money!

Having never visited Tianjin, I took the chance and reserved a five day stay at Clarion Tianjin Hotel. It proved to be a winner in several respects. First, its center city location meant that traveling by taxi to different sites was quick and inexpensive. Second. surrounding the hotel are a number of restaurants across the board and convenient malls and shops. Other hotels elsewhere in the city did not have the kind of cluster of stores for window-shopping and necessities. It is also at the hub of city taxis, which made for easy transportation around the city. Don't look elsewhere. This is the place to stay!

Only 4 Stars because of the little things...

Overall, the hotel is quite nice and comfortable. However, compared to other hotels in Tianjin: The staff was helpful when asked, but did not go out of their way to approach us; the pool was nice, but tiles were missing from the side; the workout room was good but not great, and the steam room in the men's locker room was not working; the breakfast buffet was full of Chinese delicacies, but a little lacking on the Western side: the website lists three restaurants, but really there is only one; the others are a coffee shop and a lobby bar; the website also listed a convenience store, but none exists; in our room for two, there was only one robe. These are all small details, but they would lead me to go back to another hotel on my next visit.

Friendly hotel. Best Concierge service

The staff at the hotel are the best. I had to interact with the concierge service the day I arrived. due to late arrival of my luggage. Peter, the concierge service supervisor, took down the information. He made sure this information was shared with the evening shift and check with me when I passed concierge desk the next day. The cleaning staff was also courteous and helpful.

Bothered by weak service

Many of the hotel staff lack hotel and service training. Also they tried to charge me for the room (I paid at time of booking) twice, both at checkin and again at checkout.

Great location, great staff, Rooms a bit small

The Hotel itself is nice, we had a double booked but the bed was about the worst I have had in a hotel ever! For one person it was comfortable but 2 it was one of those beds were you can feel all the movement, bit like sleeping on a big Jelly, anyway we saw reception the next day and they moved us without question (asked for a twin in case all doubles were the same) and the twins were very comfortable

The rooms were smaller than we expected but well appointed, clean and comfortable and next to no noise from the street below, bathroom was also small and a bit disappointing, had the shower in the bath, worked ok but did think why they bothered with the bath.

We only ate at breakfast which is in the restaurant on the 2nd floor, decent enough with a good mix of Chinese and Western dishes, coffee though was pretty dire, either luke warm or very watery, but staff were always very obliging and by the time we left they always knew to bring me a fresh made and \"HOT\" cup when I sat down.

The Hotel has a gym on the 6th floor, I used it 4 times, its ok, Hotel gyms are never going to be that great, this one no exception, Pool however is good, the changing rooms are ok, the Sauna a waste of time, was never hot enough when I was there, maybe it gets switched off when ever not in use?, Steam room however was awesome, make sure you use that it works a treat.

Overall, have stayed in other Hotels in Tianjin and this compares well.

The location and staff of the hotel is good.

My room was a little hot and the climate control was not working in the room, after informing the front desk about the problem their solution when I returned to my room later in the evening was to leave the room windows open .
Tianjin in December & the high degree of pollution with the room windows open is not a good idea.

Time to go home!

Experienced power outage twice in 24 hrs,very old room.I booked my stays with breakfast included,but upon check-in had to provide proof and had to forward my actual booking email from Hotels.com to front desk personnel so I can have access to breakfast.The breakfast buffet is disappointing as well.
I will not stay there again.

Staying in a club room was a great decision for me. More space, and access to the club lounge brought this hotel to a new level of customer service.

Good Business hotel at a reasonable price. Restaurant very good chinese western food. Helpful concierge who gave me good directions and helped out with knowledge in English. Executive Lounge also very helpful.

Go for the upgrade

Lovely hotel if you are cruising out of Beijing. Tianjin city is nothing to write home about, but this hotel suited our needs to catch our cruise. Nice rooms and great staff, who kindly advised us to upgrade to the King room suites for an extra $50. This gave us a superior room, free drinks and meals in the superior club room all during the evening and free breakfast in the morning. When you are paying $40+ for a bottle of wine in China, this was great value. Concierge arranged our taxi in the morning and made sure we were not ripped off by arranging the fare and that the driver understood where we were going, Great staff at this hotel.

Great hotel with great staff

This hotel is centrally located, comfortable bed and the staff are very helpful, particularly Cathy in Guest Relations. The room we stayed in had access to the upstairs dining room which we used and found to be very convenient. We also appreciated the free internet access.

Great views and customer service

The hotel was in a good position in Tianjin as there were many eateries and shopping complex's nearby. The room that we stayed in was adequate for our needs being 2 queen beds for a family of 4 however the room was a little aged and smelled really bad. This was a shame as the smell was the only thing that put us off. The view of the city from our room was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we really were impressed by their customer service.

旧ルネッサンスホテル時代は良く利用しておりましたが、やはり建物が古く多くの劣化が見られます。朝食もルネッサンス時代とは比べものにならないくらい貧弱なもの。滞在中にエレベーターが壊れて階段を使わされました。現在は天津滨江万丽酒店ではなくて天津滨江凯隆酒店に名前が変わりましたのでtaxiで行き場所を告げる時にはご注意下さい。

헬쓰클럽, 수영장, 사우나 시설이 낙후 되고 냄새가 났습니다. 수영장 물은 자주 갈아 주셨으면 하고, 헬스 도구는 정기적으로 청소 하였으면 합니다. 덤벨 손잡이에 녹이 묻어 나옵니다. 사우나에는 화장실 냄새가 나고요. 방은 안락하였지만 에어 컨디셔너 온도 조절이 안돼어 추웠습니다. 주차장이 부족합니다. 식사는 괜찮았습니다. 클럽 라운지는 운용시간이 짧은 편이라서 아쉬웠습니다. 이점들만 개선 되면 보다 좋은 호텔이 되겠습니다. 가격 대비 방은 좋았습니다.

十一之前入住，酒店是比较老一些，但是服务还可以，除了前台一个戴眼镜的女客服不太好说话以外，性价比很高，地理位置非常好，早餐不错，如果手上银子比较多的话，还是丽姿卡尔顿和香格里拉最好了。

不算及格的無障礙房

因為我是輪椅人士，所以入住無障礙房，可惜此飯店的無障礙房不算及格，浴室門的寬度足夠輪椅進去，馬桶的位置不佳，淋浴的花灑居然是固定式，而非活動式，飯店也沒有洗澡椅，最後是客房人員用木板橫放浴缸上代替，浴室對輪椅朋友的友善程度實在有需改進。

Quite a good hotel, would recommend

Very pleasant stay, best location for Tianjin. There are bars, restaurants, cafes and shopping malls within 5 mins from the hotel. The hotel itself is quite ok as well, the breakfast is better than I thought after reading the previous comments.

최악입니다.

룸 청결상태가 안좋아서 1차로 룸 변경을 요청했습니다. 룸 교체 후 1박을 했고 너무 추워서 난방을 요청하니
현재 난방서비스를 제공하지않는다고하여 라디에이터를 제공받았습니다. 휴식중에 라디에이터에 불이 남과 동시에 정전이 되었습니다.
자세히 보니 전선 부분을 테이프로 감아놨는데 그 부분에서 스파크가 일어나 불이 났던거였습니다.
로비에 알리니 죄송하다는 말 한마디 없이 계속 기다리라고 하고 룸 변경을 해주겠다고 했습니다.
아니 룸 변경은 당연한거고, 일단 죄송하다고 하는게 먼저 아닙니까? 저랑 제 일행 모두 중국어에 능통했고
상황설명 모두 중국어로 했음에도 불구하고 직원들은 죄송하단 말 한마디도 없었고 심지어 제가 화를 내니 어떤 직원은 웃었습니다.
청결상태도 좋지않고 객실은 너무 춥고 화장실 샤워기 수압은 매우 약합니다. 직원들도 멍청하고 라디에이터에 불이 났다는것도 어이가 없습니다. 자는 도중에 그런 일이 벌어졌다면 어땠을지 끔찍합니다.
스위트룸으로 교체받았지만 스위트룸도 상태가 좋지않고 낡고 전체적으로 지저분합니다. 수압 또한 약하구요.
여태 많은 호텔에 묵어봤지만 최악입니다. 직원 교육부터 다시 해야될듯 합니다.
