This is not a 4 star hotel. The room was dark and stuffy and stinky. The lobby was under construction hammering away at stone while we were having breakfast. The noise was deafening. The only good thing about it was the dinner they served at the restaurant which was quite good. The window in the room was broken and did not close all the way so you heard the very busy road underneath all night

Broken lift and dreadful breakfast spoilt stay

Disappointing. Chosen due to car parking availability. Bedroom was comfortable and clean but lift was broken during our visit so had to carry bags from basement car park to 2nd floor. Breakfast following morning was terrible - coffee machine broken, no hot water, buffet of cooked food looked inedible. Staff not interested.

Ok for business but not very family friendly.

Rooms have coffee making machines and not kettles so if travelling with a baby it is difficult to get boiling water.

In general their facilities for children are limited - only one highchair in the restaurant which was being used when we chose to dine!
Service in restaurant for dinner was very slow with minimal staff and a menu with limited healthy options.
Breakfast staff very attentive and helpful.

A good hotel with secure parking and within walking distance to the cathedral but sadly let down by its restaurant.

Initially placed in a room that hadn't been cleaned, but quickly moved to another. The place is fairly standard, not sure why it rates as four stars. Breakfast buffet was nice, but you pay for it. Fifteen-minute walk to the center of town. Overall not bad, just not great.

Centrally placed, easy access to city centre & its amenities. Modern, clean, comfortable and with excellent parking facilities. Staff are first class especially Gerard, the maître d in the restaurant. Food is really good with good range of dishes, local specialities and international classics.

We stated that the safe in the room was inoperative, we were told that there was no one to help
We asked for drink at the bar at 4.30pm again no one available to supply
When we arrived back later at about 9.30pm it was obvious that there was a minimum of staff on duty, a restaurant manager with one waitress and a receptionist
The manager had to keep leaving the restaurant to serve us at the bar which meant lengthy waits for service?
Not what I would expect on a Saturday night at a 4 star hotel and at €145 per night, inferior to the hotel Normandie in Evreux at €54 ( unfortunately booked)
Will not be returning!

Very nice hotel! Very modern, clean, and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The train station was not far and easy to find from the hotel for an hour ride into Paris. I would certainly stay here again !!

This hotel is always good and the staff are first class. Would have given it an “excellent” rating except a couple of things were not quite up to their normal standard at dinner - the bread was very hard ciabatta-type rolls instead of lovely fresh French baguette and the frites were soggy! the steak was fab though.

The hotel was easy to find, parking and checking in were straightfotward. The room was lovely - we especially appreciated drinks in fridge and nice toiletries. Slept well, bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We are in the restaurant - good food, reasonably priced but missing a vegetarian option (though to be fair this night have been offered if I'd requested one). Breakfast was good, though seemed a little expensive at 14 euros pp. Staff were lovely.

Welcome warm, friendly and efficient as always. Room spacious and comfortable. Would have given 5 out of 5 except for two things - the Malongo coffee/tea maker is totally useless, don't bother with it and the previous occupant had been smoking in the room.
The restaurant first class as always and the usual warm welcome from the maitre d' Gerard.

Lovey hotel, with super staff

it's worth a lot more than our use of it as an overnight stop on our way south. It is so very comfortable and the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. It's a modern hotel with spacious rooms, good facilities and luxurious 6ft beds.
Dinner was first class. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. My only (slight) complaint is that the hot food at breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages) was a bit on the cold side.
The hotel also has it's own private parking at no extra cost.

Stayed for one night as a stopover on way down from Tunnel to Loire. Location not great for this particular journey as it involved a detour. Check in was smooth if not terribly friendly. Room was first class very clean and comfortable. Decided to eat at the hotel, but it was very disappointing. Service very slow, seemed to have one waitress and one kitchen staff for all guests including room service. Meal was ok nothing special.

Good value, hassle-free stop off

Great for what we needed - a hassle-free stop off on the way to southern France. The hotel felt very new - the room was spotless, comfortable and had a decent coffee making machine. It's a Best Western and the whole place felt a bit 'corporate'/chain-like. But it was good value for what we paid.

We were very glad the restaurant was still open when we arrived, much later than planned at 9pm, as the immediate area didn't look promising for restaurants. The food was variable: my quail starter was great, my partner ordered smoked salmon and got - literally - a plate full of smoked salmon. But our duck mains were very tough. The deserts coming out looked really good - we didn't try them as we were too tired and it was late. The wine was very good value for the quality. Everyone else in the dining room was a British holiday maker like us.

So, great value for an overnight stay - there are probably better food options in town if you have the time to check them out.

Overnight heading south

Just right for an overnight stay en route from Calais to the south with a 14-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old golden retriever. The friendly, prompt, no fuss reception and departure was particularly appreciated for this stopover. The hotel looks like it's been remodelled and rebranded from the Accor group but is fresh, modern and comfortable enough without any pretence at luxury. Parking is free and easy which is not always the case in French city hotels and the hotel is well situated by a small river which was appreciated by the large dog. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk into the town centre which is well worth a visit if only to appreciate its careful reconstruction in the late 40s and 50s

The hotel is not right in the centre of town, but really close by - you can reach the city centre in 10 min walk. Room is very confortable and spacious (fit a cot bed and still had plenty of space to circulate). Great shower!

Checked out at 8.00 am for business meeting. Left bags at hotel. Returned to collect bags at 2.00 PM. Reception gave us room to get changed before leaving for airport. Service, accommodation and facilities superb.

Great Hotel easy walk to town centre

This is a great hotel within 10 mins walk of town centre. It has free parking and wifi and the breakfast was good value. Only a lack of a swimming pool let it down but I would stay here again.

I had a very good stay and managed to get a third night which I had been told I could not get as hotel was booked up but they did manage to accommodate me which was great , staff very pleasant and fairly well trained .My one complaint is your in room directory is printed so small it is very difficult to read !!! also for overseas calls don't show the + as most Americans Have a + on there phones so it is confusing just say dial o and then after ring tone dial oo
