We recently stayed at Otivm Hotel in Rome. The hotel is very centrally located, making it an excellent base for exploring the city, with most major sights only a short walk away.

The room was adequate, though there was noticeable damage to the walls, likely from items being dragged down them, which detracted a little from the overall presentation.

Due to the age of the building, there is no restaurant on site, which is understandable but worth noting for future guests.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing. The selection was limited and the bread and pastries did not seem fresh, leaving us wondering if some items were reused from previous days.

Overall, the location is the hotel’s strongest feature, but improvements to room maintenance and breakfast quality would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Room was OK but the glass shower was in the bedroom, not the bathroom in one of the more unusual room arrangements I have ever seen. Bed was comfortable and bathroom amenities were fine except the aforementioned shower. Elevator was tiny and we had to make two trips to get our luggage downstairs as there was not enough room for luggage and two people. Roof top bar and breakfast area were great except in a rainstorm (chilly and windy) during breakfast hours as seats are outside. Front desk personnel were helpful and hotel is centrally located.

However my room was dark, had bars on the windows and looked out to a bit of a dump yard, it also had no where to sit other than on the bed. Felt like I was in a cell rather than a nice hotel.

We had such a great stay at this hotel, The location couldn’t have been better. It’s right near all the major historical sites like Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum, so we were able to walk pretty much everywhere. There are also tons of great restaurants in the area, which made it easy to find a good meal after a long day of exploring.
One fun surprise was finding an Irish pub just a few minutes away where we watched an F1 race on large screens, it was such a cool way to mix in a bit of home with the Roman experience.
The highlight of the hotel has to be the rooftop patio. The view overlooking the upper part of Piazza Venezia is absolutely beautiful. The rooftop bar has a really creative cocktail menu, a mix of modern drinks and traditional touches.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome, whether it’s for a quick trip or a longer stay. It gave us the perfect mix of comfort, location, and atmosphere.

The hotel is in a wonderful location within walking distance to the Pantheon, coliseum, and many restaurants and shops. There's a food/wine market very nearby. The breakfast was good. I only wish the bar had been less expensive for evening drinks.

Only in Rome for a night but this hotel was excellent. The staff was amazing, coordinating our trip from the airport and later to the port. Staff new our name as arrived. The location was great for easy walking to all major sites. And the rooftop bar was a cool little getaway. Lastly, the room was great with a huge balcony. Wish we had stayed there a bit longer. Highly recommend this establishment

Fun 4 nights in to Rome to view the major sites! Concierge provided helpful suggestions and called taxis for us. We couldn’t control the AC which could have been better on the 90 degree day. Roof top bar had nice views but only served drinks that were quite expensive.

This is our second stay with Otivym Hotel. The rooftop terrace has a cover charge at night but breakfast there was included with our stay and it was very good in terms of selection and quality. The air conditioning was good. There is a kettle and cups in the room as well as a safe and small fridge. There is also a convenience store next door. We found everything walkable but we took taxi to the Vatican last year. Last year we were four and had the family suite. This time a smaller room for two. Thank you for a great stay.

It was fairly loud in our room for several hours late at night (people stomping up and down the stairs, dragging chairs/tables, etc.). We would still stay here again, would just avoid the top floor.

My wife and I stayed at the Otivm Hotel 2 years ago for our honeymoon and loved it so much we stayed there again when we returned. The Otivm is a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and made us feel as though we were at home. Upon entry, we were welcomed with cappuccinos. Since we arrived early, they offered to secure out luggage while we explored. During our time there, they offered several recommendations. The cleaning staff left our room very clean. The mini bar options are pretty solid as well. With regard to the rooftop breakfast, there are plenty of options - many of which are delicious pastries. One thing that stuck out to us both times we stayed, was that the staff greeted us by our names. Lastly, the location is wonderful! We were often less than 15 minutes from any attraction we wanted to visit. This really is such an amazing hotel and we recommend it to everyone we know staying in Rome!

The Otivm Hotel could easily rely on its prime location in the heart of Rome—step outside and you’re instantly immersed in history. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the warm and attentive staff, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I stayed in a single room, which was dorm room sized —but after the initial surprise, I found it cozy and well-appointed. Overall, this is a charming and comfortable hotel, and I would gladly return on my next visit to Rome.

Charming boutique hotel, well located

Boutique hotel in a very convenient location close to Victor Emmanuel II monument. The hotel is very neat and clean and looks recently renovated. We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious and quiet. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace, a great way to start the day. The staff were all very polite and friendly and provided us with personal attention. Special thanks to Agatha who checked us in and helped book tickets to the Vatican Museum.
I recommend this little hotel for it's charming, cosy feel, excellent location and great service.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Otivm Hotel for five nights and had a spectacular time! Every member of the front desk staff was so helpful and friendly, and the property itself is situated in a perfect spot that makes it easily accessible no matter where in Rome you wander that day. The rooms are clean and spacious with good views of the surrounding neighborhood, and windows that open all the way to fully take in the city sounds. All in all, we had zero problems with our stay and would certainly stay here again next time we return to Rome!

Absolutely loved the roof top area of this hotel! The hotel is very conveniently located, at max 10 to 15 mins walk to major attractions. Its on a busy street and also has a local store right beside it. The rooms were nice and clean and the bathroom was also decent with a large rain shower. The breakfast staff Georgio and Luka were amazing!! They were so sweet and fun to talk to and provided amazing service. Overall a great hotel with reasonable price. Would definately return!

Great central location

Central location is convenient for sites such as the forum and colosseum within walking distance. It is easy to get a bus/tram in nearby Piazza Venezia for transport links. The reception is also open 24hrs which is helpful for early/late flights. The reception team are fluent in English and happy to help. The breakfast was really lovely mix of different options. The room was clean and comfortable.

Great location near buses to Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish Steps. Could also walk to all of these sites plus Colesseum except for Vatican. Room was super clean and roomy for a city hotel. Everyone at the front desk spoke English-but it is polite to start with Buongiorno or Buonasera.

Ideally located within easy walking distance of most historical sights. On busy narrow street. Our room was great, no view but lots of light; large entry room with trundl daybed if you're traveling with kids, but if not it's a very nice dressing area. Staff was helpful. Tip. If going on to Cicivheccia to catch cruise, ask for taxi that has a lower flat fee, car service (which is just a taxi) costs 20+% more.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Roooms are spacious, clean and elegant. Only downfall was we were on the second floor and our only window was a low small one that gave a view of the street and sidewalk that folks can see right in as the walk by and the street noise for the loader vehicles can be heard. We were hardly louging in the room so we just closed the drapes for the prvacy. The windows were good to reduce the noise and the traffic was minimal at night. Overall, a good staty.

Great location and helpful, friendly staff. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the city and is a quiet getaway from the chaos of Rome. Especially nice place for an espresso in the morning.

I stayed in the single room on the fifth floor and it's tiny. It was also lacking a toilet paper holder, which doesn't seem like a big deal, but when counter space is limited, attaching a holder to the wall is a good idea. Overall, nice place to stay for a reasonable price.
