The room was modern, spacious and clean, towels and bedding linen were clean and fresh.

Staff were very friendly, especially at breakfast, a special mention to Ali for the amazing service.

Breakfast was 5 stars, from the fresh orange juice, variety of dishes, to the freshly made waffles and pancakes, everything was delicious.

The hotel was cleaned, air condition was working as it should. The staff was friendly, polite and very nice. Hotel very close to Haram. The breakfast was excellent eat and drink all you can no limit. My only complaint was the refrigerator not working. Overall experience 4 stars. Please replace the refrigerator for better ones. No regrets thank you so much for good customer service.

I stayed for my recent visit to prophets mosque. The hotel is near to gate 309, 310. It was clean , well maintained and in near vicinity to the mosque. Staff were caring and very cooperative. The breakfast was good as well. They have allowed us for late check out as well. I would come again to the same hotel every time. Thank you so much Rotana , great team and excellent hotel.

The hotel is split between tower 1& 2 and on day 2 they cancelled breakfast in tower 2 so tower 2 was chaotic fir a fee days squeezing everyone in 1 restaurant. Besides that it was very nice staff were apologetic and helpful

this place has 2 towers always get down at tower 1 as i think better and bigger rooms ,buffet was not all worth the money 130 sar unless all inclusive rather pay outside to get better option for food and would work out cheaper for 2 as you dont eat 260 sar £50 worth of food place is clean and friendlly and not to far for both men and women entrance make sure you pass the imams line so prayers are excepted ie pass the green dome

Staff were lovely especially the ones at breakfast the manager was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and good amenities. Only issue was that our room wasn’t cleaned on the last day although we requested it and the scale in our room wasn’t working and room service wouldn’t provide us with a new one so had to borrow from next door.

Everything was great, room was clean, staff was great, breakfast too was good although it was the same every day. Just a short walk from the haram. I was just a little disappointed with the size of the bathroom, The bathroom was quite small with the toilet in a very tight spot making it difficult to do ablution

The hotel is just a 4-minute walk from Gate 309 of Masjid Al Nabawi. The room was spacious and modern, and the breakfast buffet was excellent! My only suggestion would be to improve communication before arrival.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is in a great location. Close to everything. The staff was very accommodating. It was a great pleasure to be welcomed by Amena and Abdulah in the morning for breakfast.

INITIALLY, WE HAD ISSUES WITH THE ROOM AND IN GENERAL BUT THINGS CHANGED WHEN A MANAGER, HANNAH TOOK OWNERSHIP OF OUR ISSUES AND REALLY MADE AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE OUR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS MAKING OUR STAY A PLEASANT ONE.FOR THAT REASON,MY MAIN FOCUS IS HOW SHE PUT THINGS RIGHT DESPITE THE INITIAL PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED.

Overall, the hotel is in a good location, walking distance from Masjid Al Nabwi and with good food nearby. Although the opposite side has better shopping and food options.

However, upon arrival, it took over an hour to get us checked in. We were not given clear communication especially after a long trip from Makkah to Madinah. The receptionist mentioned he would get in touch regarding a room upgrade to a Haram view but I never heard back at all.

On top of that, our room was only cleaned twice during our 5 night stay and even the quality of that was not great. Our room was not cleaned despite the housekeeping sign being left on for prolonged periods multiple times. We had also been disturbed by staff when we had our do not disturb sign on. I spoke to one of the housekeeping staff about cleaning our room, and instead of helping, he decided to moan instead and told me to call reception. There was also miscommunication with reception and housekeeping staff. Also, there was noise coming from the room next door with people arguing which could be heard. The fridge was hot. Cups were still dirty and not cleaned.

Very good location with good breakfast and fairly modern facilities. It’s just a shame on how slow they are, how poor the communication is and the lack of service from the housekeeping staff

I would like share our thoughts on recent visit to Madina 12/01/2025 so others can have understanding paying £300.00 a night on a 4star branded hotel what you’re expecting to get.

Starting with few positive points.
Location is good easy access to Masjid Al Nabawi.
Downstairs you will find plenty of shops servicing all kind of fast foods etc.
Room was clean spacious but a little dated in the bathroom a just about works in terms of space.

Now moving to our 4nights stay/experience.

They have two hotels side by side. So it can be confusing which hotel you have booked.

Main hotel has a large lobby and bigger restaurant. The rooftop was never opened which I attempted to visit twice during my stay. Asked staff why is it closed apparently opens after 4pm which didn’t make sense I did attempt once more then gave up.

When we check in we were on the newer but smaller hotel. However the view from the room was obscured then the upgrade we paid for. Nevertheless we just travelling from Makkah and it’s been a long day just wanted to rest and recover.

My wife was feeling poorly and I called hotel housekeeping for an extra duvet. That’s when
A shock to the system started. A basic requirement turned into a bitter experience.
Kept waiting however noting was happening called again and again same response some was coming. When the did eventually turn up then came to understand what we asked for by then at least an hour passed by. So explained again however apparently they

Had a pleasant stay at Rotana, spacious beautifully decorated room with all amenities soap,shampoo,conditioner tooth brush, vanity kit, iron kit, hair dryer. Bath robe and towels.
Huge closet and locker, my room had a wireless charger to charger phone as my charger wouldn’t fit in the socket.
Must keep a universal plug from your own country,
Rotana had an amazing breakfast so much variety and fresh food and you can see the prophets mosque while getting your food.
Items to mention two types of soup,scrambled eggs, fried rice, noodles, variety of bread and cheese and fresh fruits and baked croissants and danish’s, tea and coffee and coffee machine for speciality coffee.
This hotel is good for families.
Overall a good choice and experience.
Would love to book again in future.

Staff never answered phone. However the staff actually used the phone and called around checkout time. The hotel has two towers that are almost two different hotels, they are two buildings separated by the street. One with decent full and partial haram view and the other has hardly any view. You are never told the exact building number or which tower you are in. Once checked in although I reserved an obscenely expensive haram partial view, we were put into the one that hardly any view and the room hardly had any view.

In general the hotel is ok and would make a fine 3 star hotel but certainly not any higher as advertised.

Horrible services . Gave a suite with no bed for kids . One king bed for 4 people . Sofa bed is for 1 person without pillow and blanket . Attitude is very bad and 1 days they didn’t do any room service despite request . 500$ per night for small room and horrible same breakfast for 5 days . Room 645 . Checking lady was unhelpful and told this is biggest room with 1 bed only for 4 person . Additional bed 120 x2 . Pay or leave . Very aggressive attitude and pls don’t say here as there r many good hotel similar price . Sofitel is same price and 100times better .

the cleaning staff were chill and a guy called anis made the stay even more comfortable he was always there if something was needed and very helpful and friendly.
