We had an issue with our booking and staff member Shahida was excellent but the girl at the reception counter was awful. She kept shrugging her shoulders to say ‘I don’t care’. Very rude and unprofessional. This hotel was so weird with the lifts all over the place. The fire alarm went off repeatedly through the night. Extremely loud and disturbing. We phoned reception and they didn’t care. Didn’t get one good nights sleep. Would not recommend this hotel.

Very outdated and filthy inside. It’s a vast building so unless you’re near a lift you’ll be walking and then waiting for a lift for space close to prayer time. Staff were friendly and nice.

Until they refurb the whole hotel and floors it is not worth going to for now. I’m sure it’ll redeem it self in the future.

I booked an Executive room but was disappointed: the room fell short of the standard I’ve experienced at this chain elsewhere. It felt worn and not well maintained. The worst issue was the air-conditioning system—visible dust and debris in the ducts caused dust to blow into the room consistently during use. That made the stay uncomfortable and concerns about cleanliness and air quality remain. I recommend the hotel inspect and deep-clean the HVAC ducts and improve room maintenance to meet the chain’s usual standards.

The hotel feels quite dated, especially the bathrooms. The fixtures and fittings are old, and the tile pointing is poorly done or missing in places. We experienced waste water from other guests’ bathrooms coming up into our bathroom, which was very unpleasant. The toilet seat was cheap, loose, and uncomfortable, and the taps were old and difficult to use. We expected better quality from a hotel of this standard.
Initially, we were given a disabled-access room. While the room was spacious and the bathroom was larger than in standard rooms, the shower water flowed into the toilet area, making the floor very slippery and potentially dangerous. We later changed to a normal room.
The room had very poor natural light, a terrible view, and significant noise, which made the stay uncomfortable.
The door entry system is also outdated compared to other hotels we stayed in, where tap-and-open systems were much easier and more convenient.
Check-in was very slow, with a queue of around 20–30 minutes. After checking in, we waited over an hour for our luggage to arrive in the room. We tried calling reception several times with no answer and eventually had to go back to reception ourselves to ask about the luggage. This was very inconvenient, as we couldn’t change out of our travel clothes or freshen up.
Breakfast and dinner were not included in the room rate, and considering the overall condition, room quality, and service, the price of the room does not represent good value for money.

Our room has full haram view which was great. Room did needed a little wear and tear maintenance but it was pretty clean. Walk from hotel building exit door to masjid gates 327, 328 is less than a minute. Bin dawood is within the hotel building. Hotel staff is very co-operative.

I’ve never experienced such disorganisation and disrespect from a hotel. We arrived well before the official check‑in time and were told the room would be ready in an hour. An hour passed — nothing. Then we were told to wait another half hour. Still nothing. Even 20 minutes past the actual check‑in time, the staff were still insisting the room “wasn’t ready” and refused to take any responsibility.

Instead of apologising or offering any kind of solution, the reception staff tried to defend themselves by claiming check‑in was at 5pm, even though it was already past that. No updates, no communication, and every time I asked for information, I had to queue up again and repeat the same questions like they’d never seen me before.

The attitude at reception was absolutely unacceptable. Completely dismissive, uninterested in guest care, and lacking even basic courtesy. My child was struggling with the long wait and the chaotic environment, and still the staff showed no empathy or urgency.

A truly disgraceful experience from start to finish. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone who expects even the slightest level of professionalism or respect.

If you like mouldy grout in your bathroom, having to constantly call service for bath towels, toilets that don’t flush, and an outdated decor, look no further.
Pros: beds are comfortable. Location is good for women’s pray areas. Location is good for food options and 2 Bin Dawoods for supermarket options.
There are better hotels I’m afraid. Wouldn’t use them again.

Building layout is very confusing. It has many floors and shopping areas inside. Once you leave your room, it is hard to find it again. Different elevators take you to completely different sections of the building. It feels like one huge shared complex with many other businesses, not just the hotel. This made it even harder for us since our rooms were placed on different floors.

There was a selection of breakfast available which met everyones need, including children. Staff were very helpful.
Location was great however, there are 2 blocks of the hotel. We stayed in the second block, meaning having to go through the shopping centre to access lifts to the room.
The room itself was dark and over crowded. 3 singles bed with little room. We requested a cot for our 8 month old baby. Although one was provided, the cot was dirty with debris. I did not feel comfortable putting my baby in it. There was no room for the cot. Basic bathroom- no hand/body wash in both bottles provided. Not upto expectation. Will not be staying here again. Definitely not 5*

Worst hotel to stay

The breakfast menu and the staff at the restaurant was absolutely fabulous. No doubt the service and the rest restaurant was very nice. The waiter had done the shake at the station. They were just awesome.

As regarding the room, it was OK but the room service was not good at all as they were providing the towels, all torn in a very depleted condition which once you throw it away as they were charging so high for the room and yet you don’t get proper towels.

The worst part of the room paying such a lot of money and I was given a room, which was totally dark could not see anything outside. We didn’t pay money for such room and when I told the reception he said, the entire hotel is booked, whereas I know that the Madinah Tower Was empty, but yet the receptionist was very very rude. Uncouth, uncultured and talked very very rudely did not do anything. I was very very unhappy with my stay this time I have previously stayed in the same hotel three times earlier and I was very much satisfied..

I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone .

Room is just not designed right. 4 beds with one tiny impractical bathroom. The food that’s included in the price is spread out very nicely but only a few items that cater to the largest population of guests that stay at the hotel.
This isn’t my first visit to Madinah but definitely stayed for the first time at this location.
Extremely long wait at the reception, quite unnecessary because they choose to prioritize groups over individual guests and that exacerbates the problem.
The hotel itself is located at a very convenient location with ample elevators.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained — very comfortable and relaxing after a long day. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always welcoming with warm smiles and prompt service. The amenities were also impressive, especially the breakfast—adjust as needed, which made the stay even more enjoyable after hours of Ibadah. Alhamdulillah!!!

Overall, it was an outstanding stay — clean, comfortable, and with truly exceptional hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to friends and family!

We stayed with my family my mum,brother,wife plus my daughter also my other sister and my niece.
Booked the rooms but didn't give me options to have a disabled room as no option was available when I was booking the rooms.
So messaged them I needed a disability room they said your request has been sent I didn't hear anything back.
We got to the hotel checking in staff said no request was done to have a disability room I showed them my request they said we are sold out so gave us a normal room it was nearly midnight so we were tired so we said give us what you have for now.
Got to the room it was really bad the toilet was behind the door so my mum couldn't even get in there to use it.
We phoned the reception complained explaining this is not acceptable so guess what they found us a disability room which we wanted in the first place.
The hotel check in staff messed us around for ages the whole process was horrendous.
The location is perfect, breakfast was really good rest of it pretty bad.
We wouldn't stay there again and I wouldn't recommend it.

1- proxity to mosque. Hands down this closest to mosque and specifically to women's side so if proximity is your primary requirement and you can ignore all other problems then go for it. Personally, I will never go back to this even if this close to mosque as we have other hotels with proxity and I'm sure they are better. Which leads me to cons..

1- very old property. Carpet looked like it is very dusty but it was just old. Same with many other things.
2- bathroom was old. So old and small that if you open the door then person sitting on pot may have problems
3- I booked 3 rooms and for 1 room keys worked only 1 time and not next time. So everytime I tried the same key 2nd time after first successful try then it won't woke and I'd have to walk till reception to get it reset. I asked for help but they would just shrug it off with a smile.
4- I asked for plates in my room and they charged me 5 riyal per plate cash. For an empty plate! Which hotel does that?
5- hotel has two towers and each tower has A and B side. Nobody told me this during reception. I figured all this out by entering wrong lift everytime banging my head before getting to the right lift and room. They need to talk about this during checkin.
6- overall very old building, not the best management, okish staff and no intention to get better because they know people will come due to proximity. I won't!

The room we were in smelled of sewer. It got worse over the next couple of days. The maintenance came to fix it but no improvement. The next room we got shifted to had blocked sink.
The reception, duty manager Karim, was very unhelpful.
We asked for early checkout. The reservation said we could check out early but when we went to check out, they said they won’t refund.
Overall disappointing stay. Would not recommend

Stayed in this hotel about 13 years ago and loved everything about the hotel: Closeness to Masjid Nabwi (literally at the door step), modern room suite, clean and friendly staff. When I visited this time, I decided to book same hotel and brought family along. Everything went smooth but felt, the room was not updated with time. Though clean and housed us four, but I was hoping hotel would be updated with time. May be tower B is lower quality than Towe A. Maybe?

Rooms are too small for this money. Took more than an hour to check me in. First room they gave me didn’t have electricity, second room had AC problems. Cleaning staff were awesome. Very close to the mosque though. You can get newer hotels with the less money.
