The reception was horrible. The front staff treated us not well. This staff took very long time to take previous customer, but did not request me to wait. Basically told us to SIT in very loud voice. We confused and got cleared after sometime and finally got a room. Room service does not pick up phone for any paper towel etc request. Don’t recommend anyone to stay here.

Apart from location of this hotel everything is terrible. Room was not sound proof the connecting door room was given and could hear whatever the other guest speaking. Can hear outside building works carried out even at 1am. Crowded lifts, you may need more time to get a lift. Mediocre breakfast deserts repeated everyday. Poor wifi signal did not connect, used my own personal data

I chose to stay at Zowar International Hotel mainly because of its proximity to Haram, which is very convenient. However, there is ongoing construction work right behind the hotel, and the noise from drilling and heavy machinery is quite disturbing throughout the day.

The constant sound of boulders and foundation work made it difficult to rest — I even had to use earplugs, and other guests in nearby rooms were also complaining about the same issue. Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be much the hotel staff could do to address it.

It would be helpful if the hotel could inform guests in advance about the construction situation so travelers can make an informed decision.

Disappointing Stay at Zowar Hotel – Confusing Book

I arrived early at Zowar Hotel, only to find out that the booking name had changed to \"Odest,\" which was confusing and frustrating. Thankfully, I was still able to stay at Zowar, but the experience didn’t improve much from there.

The staff converted a double room into a king bed, but the room was cramped and unsuitable for a baby—there was barely any space to move around. Several amenities were broken, including the TV and hair dryer, which made the stay even more uncomfortable.

I had originally planned to stay again after returning from Mecca, but based on the poor condition of the room and overall experience, I decided to cancel. The only positive aspect was the flexibility to cancel the booking without hassle.

Would not recommend unless improvements are made.

Terrible. Location was great but everything else was worse than a 49.99 motel 6 room. The bathroom smelled like sewage.no towels, the bed had hair on it upon arrival the tv didn’t work. Had to beg for towels and sheets to be changed. One key card per room!!! Only thing going for it was the location!

بداية من الإستقبال وحتى المغادرة

وصلت بعد موعد الدخول المحدد بساعة ونصف وانتظرت اكثر من نصف ساعة لاستلام الغرف بحجة انها غير جاهزة

باب الغرفة كان مشوه وبإمكان اي شخص رؤية ما بداخل الغرفة من الثقوب والفراغات الموجودة في الباب

العوازل الصوتية جداً سيئة
على الرغم اني سكنت في آخر دور الطابق ال ١٤ وكنت اسمع اصوات السيارات
واسمع الغرف المجاورة بشكل واضح وكأنهم معي في الغرفة

المناشف الموجودة في الحمام رائحتها سيئة جداً ولا تصلح للإستخدام الآدمي

غلاية الماء يوجد بها ترسبات غريبة

مرتبة السرير قديمة جداً ويوجد بها تقوس في الوسط

لا يوجد كاوية ملابس في الغرفة ولابد من انتظار مغسلة الملابس في الصباح لتدفع قيمة كي الملابس

الفطور متنوع لكن المنتجات الموجودة فيه رخيصة جداً وخاصة المعلبات تعتبر من أقل الأنواع الموجودة في السوق

مواقف السيارات محدودة وضيقة جداً

عند الخروج حاولت الاتصال على حامل الحقائب وعلى مكتب الاستقبال لأكثر من ٢٠ دقيقة لكن لم يرد علي احد او يكون الخط مشغول

I was very disappointed with the service, it was not clean before we arrived and the cleaners did not clean the room while being there. I had to request the extra towels and tissues. The shower water leaked everywhere and the floors were slippery, this is dangerous.
This is my third time coming here, the first two times i was happy with the service. Zowar hotel has lowered the standards

Was ok, close to the masjid and plenty of food places about, toilet stunk. Lifts were cramped and I didn’t like the fact even the staff working were using the same lifts incuding builders working on upper floors. So you had to wait for lifts.

Disgusting hotel. No room service as in cleaning of room. Carpets filthy. Pillows filthy as well as blankets. Bugs in room. Bathrooms filthy and mouldy. Repeated requests to clean and change totally ignored by Expedia and the hotel. Have a disabled daughter so made the the situation much harder to handle or change hotels once we had arrived and checked in very very disappointed. Stay away.

I stayed over 7 days, nobody came to clean my room or changed bin. I rang receptionist over 10 times regarding bin change or bedding but nothing happened. Then l changed bin myself. They don't care about hygiene or anything.

amazing facility, i asked for late checkout and they were very accomodating. the bed was SUPER comfy and room super clean

only thing they can improve perhaps is may be consider changing sink of bathrooms - not dirty at all, but just had some crack in it. I am sure that is NOT the case every room.

Overall, I would love to stay here AGAIn. so convienant to shopping and musjid. LOVED IT.

4 beds were cramped in room meant for two beds. Hardly enough room to put luggage and be able to walk freely in the room.

I had my kids with me, they refuse to warm a glass of milk though I can clearly see a microwave is sitting close to front desk. we went to next door hotel and they warmed it for us.

There is nothing that we like about this hotel, at the time of check-in, they did not have our room ready and we have to wait more than one hour. The hotel gave us 3 single beds but we especially asked for a king bed. We stayed over for 4 nights and Housekeeping came only ones!!! The washroom was mouldy and beds had only a single sheet on dirty mattress. We are very disappointed at the hotel and and with Expedia for false marketing

The individuals at the front desk told us we had come to the wrong hotel when we arrived. They had over booked and this seemed to happen almost everyday around check in time. They are always over booking and sending off people to hotels in the nearby vicinity that are very bad in service. Be sure to speak to manager when faced with such a situation. Wifi was not good at all - had to reconnect every minute to it.

We requested a late check in and we arrived around 8 pm with two sleeping toddlers and our room was not ready yet and had to wait about 30 minutes. The room is very small, carpet was dirty and you can feel it when you walk on it. The water boiler was dirty that we never used. The bed was clean. Bathroom was clean but very tight that you pump on everything. The only positive is that it’s close to the Mosque that you directly get to gate 16. Unfortunately, we may not stay there again.

Nasty dirty trash.

Most dirty and unprofessional hotel I have ever lived in medina. Staff don't understand English at all, you must have someone speak other language other than English May work in housekeeping to translate to front desk. Counter peoples are extremely rude. AirCondition wasn't working and it's took 4 day to technician to arrive and even didn't fix to work. No housekeeping at all.

There are a lot of other hotels similar price range, CLOSER to Haram Especially for Ladies. Hotels like Durrat Al Andaluz or Sanabel are same price but much better and also closer for ladies. very few staff spoke English.

I have stayed here previosly and it use to be excellent. But now the hotel is under new management and he has done an aweful job of the place. All the nice and hard workers have left and the new workers do not do their job properly. Rooms are not clean and the wifi has gone worse. Can not use it at all.

We booked this just for a few hours stay as were reaching at Fajr & check in was at Zuhr for our other hotel. We had asked for king bed but got two single beds which for a family with two kids was not sufficient. We asked for a mattress and told there was none. We joined the two beds together and luckily there was a box mattress under the bed but they didn't even have spare bed sheet to give us! We did our 5 hours of rest and got out of there.

Well, this is quite tricky. I did face some problems , nevertheless I am going to be little generous.
Har a lot of issues with check in .
Hotel over-booked due to Ramadan and reception staff was very bad.
But the reservation team on the mezzanine floor saved the day.
Room itself is not all that bad. Has a fridge, just one power point in the room for charging , water pressure good, had trash can , tissue boxes. A bit little old and carpet discolored and worn out . Housekeeping Also passable. The location is quite good, quite near the Haram Sharief specially for women. Has 4 elevators so not much of a issue there except during prayer times.
Ifthar buffet was bad !

The hotel is very crowded during this time before Ramadan, the elevators is noot enough for the nomber of occupants you have to wait for more than 15 mints.
I had a probelem during check in, reception are not recieving my booking so direct me to go to adminstration to sort it out, which was in deferent level, I had to go twice to them and they want to charge me more as they dont have the same room I request on line.
Finly after argument that it is their falt the agree to give the same rate as on line.

Rooms are in reasonable condition. Rooms include a mini refrigerator. If you get a reasonable price (i.e. within your budget) - go ahead and take it. A good 10 minutes walk from Masjid An Nabwi's Umar bin Khatab door (near King Fahad Gate); if you don't mind the walk or have kids that don't mind walking few times a day - only then you should seriously consider it. Lots of shopping under the hotel. A laundry/dry cleaner is one minute away. Bed sheets are clean.

Zowar international is a decent hotel. As the saying goes you get what you paid for. Staff is not really helpful, but that's hardly a problem. The hotel seems to be priced at a competitive rate and it's near the haraam. Look at it this way, zowar international is a minute away from Mövenpick hotel, while being only 30% the cost of Mövenpick. Hotel service isn't great, and the rooms are mediocre, it's close to the haraam and significantly cheaper than other hotels. If your planning on staying at the haraam a ton, and visiting other places in madinah, then I'd recommend it, but if you want to be comfortable and pampered, I'd definitely suggest staying at a better hotel. Also, I stayed on eid and the owner bought cake for their hotel guests. That was really nice.

Worst hotel ever!!!! Not worth the money!!!! The bathroom was old, with cracked tiles. We had 2 rooms & they put us on separate floors, even though i made the booking 4 months ago. Breakfast buffet was awful. Very few choices & when something finished, the item was not replenished. The only positive was the proximity to masjid al-nabwi-- about a 10min walk.

It is an average hotel and hard to find at first place, Hotel check in staff was nice and courteous but morning staff was rude there is no internet connection in the hotel. copier was not working at hotel to make copies of our passports which they require, breakfast buffet was ok not very great it could be better. Out side view was not good. bathroom corners and caulking has mildew and was not clean.
