This was so disappointing. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed for one. The hotel is old, rundown and dirty. We pushed two beds together for a toddler so they wouldn’t fall out of bed and discovered empty bottles and takeaway food containers. The step in bath had a shower curtain and the force from the fan meant you couldn’t keep the curtain off you unless you put it outside the bath which would flood the floor. There was no window as out “2 bedroom” unit meant the single bed had the only window we had a skylight switch that didn’t work. If I was travelling alone there is no way I would have been comfortable accessing my room through a non existent security door up a stairway. You are paying for location and a carpark, nothing else. Don’t believe the photos. Never again.

The lady that did check in was polite and friendly. Was very helpful in instructing me where I was staying and parking my etc. Parking spaces are tiny and it's also tricky with the support pillars. The room is tidy enough, though very dated. I had to run the hot water for a few minutes before it actually ran hot. I thought perhaps the taps had been incorrectly placed but it's just terrible hot water and no pressure. I could also hear the room next door dealing with their shower at 2am and that seemed to go on forever. It's ok for a night, but not an extended stay.

If I could give it a 0 I would, it is the worst accomodation I have ever stayed in, it was dirty, old, the floor was sticky and it smelt and no hair dryer!

Our Room was dirty with stains all over the carpet and a terrible smell like burning rubber. The bathroom was dirty with dust and cobwebs all over the windows and exhaust fans. The toilet seat was broken and the toilet bowl had been previously broken and badly repaired as it appeared to have mould all over it. The fridge was all frozen over and the air conditioner leaked water requiring us to put a towel under it overnight.

Check in was easy.. Staff were polite and hospitable and the accommodation is in a great location, however the rooms and amenities were well below average… The rooms were old and run down.. They were in need of an urgent update.. The exterior of the buildings were old, decaying and falling apart.. Not a great first impression.. Things, such as curtains and TV, that were broken in the rooms were not fixed..The toilet did not flush properly.. There were cracks in the ceiling and walls.. The rooms were not clean..Overall the place is poorly maintained and really needs to be renovated..

We didnot get there until 9.30pm i had no information how to open the box to get key out of box. Was not sent to my mobile i was stressed as i thought that we were going to sleep outside , trying to find someone to help us how to get into the locks. So then I went to the building again to have a look to see if there may be a number to court which then I found and I rang the manager who then gave me the code to unlock the box, he said to me you should've had notifications and I said, no, if I did, why am I ringing, you. So then he gave me the number to open the box, found the note and the loop with the key in it.But I found that was very unprofessional , as that have not communicated properly or send the rights info to the me who was going to be coming late at night. We are booked in again on our way back.Hopefully this won't happen again.

This place has so much potential. Great location, plenty of off street parking, nice staff, great bakery close by… but whoa, is it very rundown.

Lots of dust, scuffs, grubby handprints and mould around the room. Bathroom looked a bit scary, but the toilet was clean. There was torrential rain the night we stayed, thus when we came back to our room the ceiling was leaking, luckily not on the beds. It was very late so we didn’t bother to raise it with staff. Windows rattled all night in the wind. Walls paper thin to hear other guests going about their lives.

I think if you’re desperate for a budget room for a night, it will be fine. You may not get any decent sleep though.

Management photos of the property don’t really show the true side of the rooms…. Unless there are some rooms a lot better kept than others, or they’re great at photoshop.

I wouldn’t stay again.

Improvements include a plug for the bathroom basin, chained if necessary.
Ledge in the shower to put soap/ shampoo. Bending to pick up the soap is a true safety issue as falls can occur.
Slide up window needs sealing as it squealed in the strong wind which forced the main door to consistently rattle loud. To stop the rattling door I put my case up against it and that was effective.

Perfect positioning as within walking distance of Jetty Road, Glenelg, the shopping hub.
Perfect walking pathways.
Absolutely beautiful views over the water from my upstairs room.
Ample parking across the complexes.
Staff were respectful, helpful and a delightful group of workers. No hesitation in helping.

The surrounding 4 rooms had occupants that travelled to Adelaide to attend a wrestling event and when they got home about 12-40am, they started to party, regularly went into carport, were loud, swearing and created a very unsafe environment. Sadly, my wife and I did not get any sleep as the party did not abate until around 6am. This was despite calling the after hours security number that was not overly helpful but they did send a patrol which took some time and after contacting several more times, the security company called the police who did not arrive. On check out, the manager was unaware of the disturbance but after I returned to reception with my phone and showed her the text/call evidence, she confirmed there was a report in the system from security and was apologetic. I can understand that it was not the hotels direct fault but as I suggested their policy stated no parties, so therefore a fine would have been deserved even if it amounted to a refund of our nights accommodation with no sleep.

Worst motel room I've ever stayed in. Everything was dirty, grubby, stale, was seriosuly unappealing. I drove back to my house to get my own pillows because all of the pillows on the bed had someone else's hairs all inside them, so gross.
The chairs at the table were ripped, torn, filthy dirty and old. The wall backing on to the shower had peeling bubbling paint falling off. Walls were dirty and marked and chipped and had old sticky tape and old broken off signs on them.
There were no wine glasses. The 2 water glasses in the fridge were abs disgusting and filthy, hadnt been washed at all. The coffee mugs were stained and dirty and had coffee stains inside them. I went out and bought my own glass to drink from. The window scrim curtain was stained and dirty, the curtains were falling off the rail, the window didnt stay open and fell down shut and the dirt inside the frames was gross. The carpets hadnt been vacuumed and were filthy with bits on them and they were old and stained anyway. Walking around with no shoes on was disgusting. The room was stale inside, had to open the front door to let air in. The bathroom window and shower was gross, there was no way I was using the shower! Didnt even want to use the toilet. The bed was just ok. Luckily the sheets were clean or I would have left straight away. Tv was good. Will not be returning to this motel. The rooms are so aged and run down.

Totally misrepresented on line. It was old, not clean, there was a weird odor .

The bathroom was scary, moldy & smelled damp.

The only saving graces were the very friendly & helpful staff & the convenience of the location.

There were Tradies working on a building site next door that had disgusting gutter mouths & they started working & swearing before 730 on a Saturday morning.

Unless it has a total revamp & I wouldn’t recommend or stay again.

It's a really good place for the price, close enough from the city that the transport is not an issue and far enough that you don't have to worry about the city's trashy stuff. Staff are really nice, they let us checkin way before our checkin time. Don't expect the rooms to be ultra clean like 5 start hotels but they are not too bad either. It's proximity from everything is the biggest plus.

Location is good, lots of parking space, walls are newly painted, toilet is clean, bedsheets and pillow cases are clean with no stains contrary to other reviews, towels are new, showering is great; however, the carpet in the room is clean but old. Upon arrival, the lady in the reception was asking for my credit card details as a bond for the room key which she mentioned might not be returned the following day. Aside from that $100 bond, all went well.

Never have an opened a room door that that I wanted to get out of so fast. The smell of wet dog was overwhelming, the aged room, mouldy bathroom, toilet that didn’t flush and curtains that didn’t quite close left us feeling like we were about to be mugged!

Great affordable place to stay, a short walk to Jetty Road. The J1 bus from the airport stops right by the motel.
At the moment there is construction going on next door, so I was awoken at 5 am to heaving drilling and truck noises. This is no fault of the motels but it is something I probably wish I had known about. The rooms are a good size , great bathroom, good shower pressure , however the hot water took a while to heat up. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I really love the location of this property. The front of house staff are ALWAYS so helpful and so friendly as well. It is a great clean and tidy hotel to stay at a great price. However, the family rooms are in dire need of redoing, bathrooms.especially. Cracks and chunks out of the walls that have just been painted over without being properly filled/prepped. Dated facilities. I have stayed at this property on four ocassions, and will definitely stay again, but will request a room on the reception side and not the other rooms, as these roo.s are the dated and rough rooms.
