Disappointed kids couldn’t use the pool

Lovely room, nice breakfast. But I booked this hotel for use of the pool with the kids, and the property details didn’t say the pool was only for adults, and wasn’t told at check in. They wouldn’t offer any discount given we couldn’t use the one service we’d booked the hotel for.

Most of the hotel staff were very helpful a few weren’t I asked if I could eat my evening meal in there restaurant ( mamas kitchen ) & they said yes. It opens at 19:30 which is quite late to eat. On the Friday evening it was closed but they failed to tell me so I had to go out in the pouring rain and find an alternative. The hotel was very clean although the main carpets could do with a refurb. A pleasant stay on the whole would use it in future.

Ok, for the price.

This day was alright, I had a one night stay with business. And very happy that I could park my car straight outside the room. Everything worked seamlessly However, the breakfast was not the best experience. If you want any breakfast get there early, and be aware, the man is not the largest. Overall my day was okay. Staff was really friendly and accommodating.

We stayed for three nights, the hotel staff are okay. But here is the rundown if you are considering to stay.

- local to Bergamo Airport
- very hard to get cabs. The receptionists can call a cab for you but do so half hour in advance
- very little public transport. To get the metro you need to take a 20 min bus journey. Not in walking distance
- you need to pay to use the swimming pool. They don’t tell you this when you sign the waiver so be cautious. Tbh it’s not worth it I wouldn’t recommend it.
- the breakfast is 3/10. The best being the cappuccino. The rest was basic.
- the dinner was basic too. I saw the waiter put bread (from someone’s table) into the basket, for it to be reused. I wouldn’t recommend having dinner at the hotel. The pasta was very basic. Then again, something else may be nice
- the rooms were nice and clean, spacious
- we stayed three nights but they only cleaned our room once despite us putting the sign up
- to get into Milan central, it’s a 20min bus and another 25 min train journey.
- there’s two supermarkets in walking distance which is good
- there’s a Japanese restaurant nearby and that was 10/10

Overall, if you are looking to relax and not do much then this hotel does the job. But if you are looking to explore Milan and be out and about then I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you want to spend €70 to get a cab into Milan.

Hotel thoughts

The trip was fine until we got to the hotel, we needed an iron to quickly run over our clothes that we had in our suit case for a meeting, but they did not have one. We decided one day to get the bus to Monza, given incorrect information regarding the tickets, added stress what we tried to make an easy trip. We wanted information from the front desk for obtaining the congestion zone tickets for Milan, the only gave me an address to go to and that was it. You would have thought they could have done this on the internet for us?
The food for breakfast, very limited. Normal continental breaskfast nothing that stands out that was good.
The room was tidy and clean. Bed comfortable. Tv nothing in English. WiFi was rubbish, always on 4g.
If you needed a quick stop over with simple things, this is the place. Ideal off the autostrada but don’t expect any luxuries even been a 4 star.

Pretty dissappointing over all!
Booked a 3 day stay for a spa weekend with my partner.
The spa was closed Monday and Tuesday so we never actually got to use the facilities which was really dissapointing for the 500 euro we paid.
Its way òut of Milan and the hotel organised taxi charged us 30 euro for a 5km trip to the train station.
Staff on reception were not very helpful.
Barman was a lovely guy and very friendly.
Breakfast was poor, bolied ham and cold scrambled eggs each morning.
Over all a very expensive disappointing trip.
Do not recommend unless you are just travelling for business and you just want a room.
Be aware there is nothing around the hotel just a couple of restaurants which were also very average.

We arrived early and the rooms weren’t ready that was grand we asked to use the pool that was fine then they tried to charge use 78 euro for using a pool for an hour. We then went into the rooms and there was hairs all over the bed. Told the staff and they were so rude about it then we got the beds done we stayed for the time we got a taxi and it had 25 euros on the meter and the hotel told us that’s normal then the night staff told us that it was a scam then the kitchen manager was so rude and didn’t put anything

I like very much the room disposition, where it has two entrances (one from the hotel corridor, second from outside) and the car can be parked in front of the room.
I was pretty disappointed by the wifi connectivity, and service where the minibar fridge malfunction was fixed after more than one week and four urgencies

Perhaps my last stay here.

While the venue is fine, the service is lacking, particularly in the restaurant where there is often only one waitress and she simply cannot hope to keep up with food orders and deliveries. The bartender was also completely unaware that the restaurant was closed on Sunday night, reception staff can be less than helpful as well. I use this hotel because it has a small fitness facility, but this week for the first time ever it was over run.

The hotel was fine with the exception that it was advertised as having a swimming pool, however when I arrived with my family we were told that is a “wellness” center and that children are not allowed. My kids were very disappointed, as was I. That was a principal reason I choose that hotel.

Both day and night front fest stuff was Amazing! Very professional. The room was nice with comfy beddings, clean, with all basic things you would need and expect to have in a good hotel. One thing Very Special about this place is Every room have your Own parking at your door!!! I mean No Matter which Floor your on you can always walkout to you car at zero distance! I think this would be nice for All kinda of travelers, no more hustle to walk the kids to the car, no more coldness walking to your parking, discreet too, beside breakfast time you wouldn’t have to see any other guests(they won’t see you unless you hang around the lobby too ;) ). The location is not city like but do have an Large supermarket in walking distance. Last but not least, I personally like the gym! One suggestion tho, the weights are only up to 14kg, I think would make more sense to have the ones up to 25-50kg at least.

I only spent a night for a business trip. Lets be clear this is not a business hotel. Hotel is very much catering to families. I got a handicap room which probably is a good sign that all other rooms were busy. But not a very comfortable room I must say. Very basic hotel for which the price could have been put a bit lower to justify the offerings. Breakfast in a very canteen style room. Server was clearly overwhelmed so I suggest having at least two waiters to keep the pressure low. For the rest an ok hotel. I certainly would not stay again as the pricing is way to high to justify the offerings.

Pool and entire spa was under renovation when we were there in 35+C weather. Renovation of spa which was a key hotel discriminator should have been disclosed on web site. Parking was ample, beds and shower where fine and breakfast was ok but air conditioning was ineffective resulting in lack of sleep. Great \"Ristorante La Giara\" around the corner.

Booked a room at this hotel solely because it was one of few hotels with available rooms near Milan with a swimming pool. Great disappointment as the pool was closed and unavailable! Kids were upset.

The room itself was OK, but kind of small for 1+3 and not impressive that the room only had three pillows when booked for four people.

The neighborhood was nothing to talk about. Close to the highway, but that's about it.

Nice and friendly receptionist when we arrived that gave us directions to a nearby mall. Thanks!

Upon departure I had to knock on the windows three times and get assistance from a native speaker (contracted gardener) for them to even open the sliding doors to the hotel so that I could check out... Not impressed.

Not coming back; can not recommend.

Good Value but lacks nice restaurant

The hotel in close to the Autostrada which makes it a good location if you are traveling by car. The room was well sized and comfortable though the shower was lacking one of the three doors. My only issue was that the bar/restaurant were lacking in ambiance and size. Luckily we were able to find a restaurant in the area - Fuego Molina - that made up for this. Good free internet

Great location and comfort for business travellers

Arriving very late on Sunday evening into Bergamo airport, all I wanted was a convenient hotel, to prepare for business visits in the Milan, Lodi regions on the following days. Happily the hotel was situated 2 minutes from the Cambiago motorway junction and I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and quietness of the rooms, especially for the low price. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would definitely return to this hotel on future trips.

Out of the way of Milan but if you are driving there are several train stations that are 10 min away. Train fare each way is 2.5 too 1.r euros. I also found a nice family owned Tratoria about 10 minutes from the Hotel called Antica Trattoria N45 33.497 E 09 24.613

One-night stopover

We stayed for one night en route to Lake Garda. We were driving and so needed somewhere convenient to park up and rest before we recommenced our journey the next day. The hotel was far better than we had expected - individual parking bays outside all the rooms were an excellent aspect, and the hotel itself was such that we would have liked to have spent more time there. The location was very convenient for the autostrada, and I believe not too difficult to get into Milan itself; athough the immediately surrounding area did look a bit rough, and there was nothing to do outside the hotel. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, and a thoroughly good stopover.

We stayed for 4 nights, attending a business meeting nearby. The hotel was conveniently located near the motorway and provided plenty of parking.

Unfortunately, the hotel let itself down in several areas. Firstly, the internet was unreliable and slow. An ironing board was not provided in the room nor was one available from concierge. The restaurant provided an evening meal, but at a EU25 fixed priced, was fairly expensive.

There were few alternative locations for dining in the nearby vicinity. Also, room service closed at 11pm.

The hotel was clean and rooms were generally ok. Staff were generally good but not overly informed.

Overall this hotel could offer a little more to business guests.

Comfortable, Convenient and Friendly Hotel

The room and amenities were nice - clean and modern looking. Breakfast was fantastic, as was the pool and leisure areas (although on the Basic tarrif you had to pay an additional amount to use it each day - if you're going to use it lots then it might be worth upgrading your room to include use of the spa area!) Staff were friendly and spoke English well. We stayed on Grand Prix weekend and the hotel had laid on transport to the circuit (at an additional cost, but a great service none the less). We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant, but just a few hundred metres away was a lovely family-friendly restaurant that we visited twice as it was so nive! The hotel is very convenient if you have a car, but we didn't and still managed to get into Milan with public transport quite easily. Overall a good hotel that I would recommend.

The room was huge! Price is great, only that the hotel is far away from city center (and twice as far from Malpensa airport) and you also have to pay tolls on the highway each time you leave/return to the hotel. I do not recommend it if you do not have a car. But we rented one and the price for a 3-person room plus car was much cheaper than a 3-person stay in a lame center hotel.

great Hotel but far from everything! so if you have a car it will be really very nice to stay in it!
room is clean and comfortable, bathroom is large and cleaned too, changin towel everyday, spa activities are really very nice, they give you free towel and free juice:) but make SURE that you room rate with the spa activities, otherwise you will pay 15 Euro for one entry for these activities!
Intrent : we got free WI-Fi in the rooom but you it was not perfect ..it was disconnecting from time to time and sometimes slow speeed, so it would be better

The Hotel itself is excellent, large and tidy rooms and the staff are very nice. However, the location is a problem if you are on a budget and do not wish to spend extra on taxis. The cost to Malpensa hotel on Sunday is double the normal cost of 60 Euro's. It cost 25 Euro's from the Metro station (less than 10 minutes ride). This hotel is suitable for those who drive their own car. If you booked the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis, use a local restaurant at the back of the hotel (walkaround the hotel and you will find it). They make lovely Italian dishes, but note their opening times.

AS Hotel Cambiago - Perfect hotel for Sight-Seeing

The hotel was absolutely brilliant. Myself and my girlfriend went for 6 days in January for a get away but we wanted to see as much of Northern Italy as possible. We did! For this, the AS Hotel Cambiago is an absolute winner for location, price and comfort. It is situated just off the Autostrada A4 (Motorway/Highway) but thankfully not one decibel of road noise makes it into the lightly but functionally furnished rooms.

It is only a 20 minute drive for Bergamo Airport, and 10 minute drive to Gessate train station (which goes straight into Milan, thereby making any train station on the continent a possible venture) and approximately 90 minutes from beautiful Lake Garda. If you did not have a car, it could be a possible nuisance however.

The best attribute the hotel has to offer though is most certainly the staff. They are incredible. Very knowledgeable about the main cities and towns of northern Italy, local tourist attractions and must-see/do activities. Very friendly also, and not that fake friendliness you might find in some big chain hotels that has been trained into staff, but a very charming and genuine friendliness.

There are also internet points located on each floor, so for those that didn't bring laptops (or forgot theirs, oops) there are these FREE stations located not more then 24 seconds walk from your room. very nice touch

Breakfast was also included in our stay and my god was it an impressive site. Cereals, nuts, fruit, eggs, both scrambled and boiled, sausage, panchetta, breads, teas, coffees, juices, hams, cheeses and pastries for after. If you plan on doing a lot in one day, climbing to the top of Duomo in Milan perhaps or going for a trek up one of the many Alps surrounding Lake Garda, then this breakfast will definitely be a valued accompaniment in that battle.

To sum up, As Hotel Cambiago is a perfect hotel for those wanting too see as much of Italy as possible due to its proximity to the Autostrada, but also want to do so on a budget. Incredible staff and amazing extras are also included in this.

Just don't forget to bring a map, and to pay the tolls on time. You'll work it out!

Convenient Stopover

We flew into Malpensa Airport late at night and wanted a hotel that was on the way to Venice, but not too far from the airport. As we had just come in from the US, we hoped for something comfortable and clean. This hotel was fantastic. It was close to a luxury hotel but at a budget price. It's not in a scenic location, as it's just off the motorway. The only complaint we had was that all of the online maps show it farther down the road than it is. As you exit the motorway onto the traffic circle, the hotel is right in front of you. It was a hot week in Italy when we arrived, so we were very happy to have a room with great air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious, even by US standards. And the double bed was brand new and comfortable (by European standards). We didn't get to try the included breakfast because we were still a bit jet-lagged and didn't wake up in time.

De plus, l’hôtel affiche 15 min jusqu’à milan, alors que nous avons mis 1h (preuve à l’appui)
Je souhaite être indemnisé au plus vite et être rappelé si besoin

Mage til møg beskidt og slidt hotel skal man lede længe efter .. ubehøvlet og absolut ikke serviceminded personale. Spaen betaler man ca 130 pr person for at bruge i 2 timer og der er standarten fuldstændig som resten af hotellet .. møgbeskidt og uhumsk. De hvide riller ved pool kanten er helt grønne af bakterier og alger og boblebadene er helt sorte på kanterne .. hele hotellet bærer præg af utroligt lav standard for hygiejne/ rengøring. Maden er ganske kedelig og vi er absolut ganske uimponeret af hele oplevelsen .. det er de dyreste penge vi har smidt på hotel i den standard. Hiv de 4 stjerner ned og kald det vandrehjem.. så passer det nok bedre til standarten

Abbiamo passato una notte in hotel. Molto comodo per la vicinanza al casello autostradale e nei pressi di Leolandia. La camera è risultata poco insonorizzata, si sentiva un rumore continuo riconducibile a condizionatori, non il nostro perché era spento. Frigobar e phon non funzionanti. Spa non accessibile a bambini e per questo non possiamo giudicare il servizio. Un percorso di 2 ore abbiamo letto che costava 25 euro a persona. Colazione abbondante internazionale ma poco variegata per le 4 stelle dell'hotel.

Sur votre site est sans la réservation, hotels.com met en avant la piscine de l'hôtel et une fois à la réception on apprend que pour y avoir accès il faut payer 18€/personne soit 54 € pour 3 pour aller se baigner, c'est un scandale!!!!
Sinon l'hôtel est très vieillot et ressemble plus à un hôtel de passe

Das Hotel ist sauber, aber es gibt einige Punkte, die nicht erwähnt werden, wie z. B. die Nutzung des Swimmingpools. Wir müssen 17 Euro pro Person pro Tag für die Nutzung ..des Frühstücks, das nur aus Croissants und Käse und einigen begrenzten Dingen bestand. Das habe ich nicht erwartet und in den Hotelinformationen auf der Seite nicht gestanden bei Ebookers Seite personal ist lustig net Parkplatz ist gut grade neben das Zimmer 4 Stern ist so viel max 2 bis 3

Ottimo hotel, perfettamente insonorizzato dall'esterno. Personale gentile e disponibile. Peccato solo aria condizionata d'estate che si riattiva in automatico ogni giorno e il personale non può far nulla perchè automatico... Se uno nella propria camera lo spegne dovrebbe rimanere spento e non riattivarsi ogni tot ore alla regolazione generale scelta dall'hotel. Per il resto tutto fantastico, ben tenuto e pulito, ottima colazione.
Bello avere anche accesso diretto da camera al proprio posto auto. Lo risceglierei sicuramente. Consigliato.

Pernottamento piacevole

Siamos tati 3 notti, camera spaziosa e molto comoda, peccato la tv con connessione internet debole, ma sopportabile, bagno grande con vasca, forse qualche piccola magagna per un 4 stelle, tipo il silicone intorno alla vasca, colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata, abbiamo cenato una volta in albergo, cena buona a prezzi ragionevoli. Abbiamo fatto anche la spa di 2 ore, ambiente molto bello. Nel complesso tutto positivo, se capita ci tornerò.

Cena infinita tipo matrimonio!!

Purtroppo il servizio ristorante continua a essere un punto critico: 50 persone a cena e una sola persona a servire, con evidenti ritardi e difficoltà. Anche per quanto riguarda l’hotel pur essendo discreto, segnalo che l’arredo non è stato rinnovato negli anni, nonostante i prezzi richiesti.

pour aller à Leolandia

l'hôtel est très bien situé pour aller à Leolandia et au bord de l'autoroute
aller avec sa voiture jusqu'à la chambre est pratique
rien à dire sur les chambres qui sont spacieuse et propres
le diner était correcte et d'un bon rapport qualité prix
le petit déjeuner était complet quoique surtout sucré
par contre il faut réserver pour aller à la piscine qui est couplé avec le spa et il faut payer un supplément et ce n'est pas indiqué à la réservation
