Casa Happy Life is a good hostel with very helpful and pleasant owners. The main thing that lets it down compared with other similar hostels is that it only has one toilet/shower for three rooms with upto 10 people. At many times on our first day, the bathroom was always occupied. We did have two power cuts and ran out of gas too during our two night stay so not great in that respect either.

Our stay was wonderful. We got exactly what we were hoping for. It was clean and staff were great. Highly recommend. Was a bit surprised it was a shared bathroom - I somehow didn’t realize that but it was no problem.

The AC is noisy and it was hard to get good sleep, we had to turned it off and on from time to time, when we used the fan was also noisy. Breakfast was not good, I understand is a basic Nica breakfast but there was no cheese and the bread was not fresh. It is ok as a last minute booking but definitely not my first option again. The people was nice but the place needs maintenance in general.

The staff at Casa Happy Life are extremely helpful. The shared bathrooms are cleaned repeatedly in the morning. The free breakfast was delightful. We had a great experience in San Juan del Sur thanks to the staff at Casa Happy Life.

In the master bedroom there is 1 King size bed, the second bedroom 2 twin size beds, and the third bedroom 1 queen size bed. On the top floor (second floor) the 3 bedrooms are located.
The main room with 1 king size bed has its own private bathroom, and the other 2 rooms share a bathroom. The rooms have central air conditioning and the master control is located in the main room.
On the ground floor we have the living room, dining room and kitchen. On this floor we have a ceiling fan and a half bath (a toilet).
RESERVATION AND CANCELLATON POLICIES: • Rates are per villa, per night for 6 people. Six guests are included in the cost of each accommodation.
Each additional adult will be charged US $25 plus tax per night (children 3 -12 years old, US $10 plus tax per night). There is no charge for children under 3 years old.
Children for 3 years old and up are included in rates. • Rates do not include 15% tax and 2% Intur Tax.
• Rates are subject to change. • Easter week minimum of 4 nights stay.
• Christmas and New Year minimum of 5 nights stay. • Prepayment: Because Bahia del Sol is a small hotel prepayment is necessary.
A deposit of one night is required at the time of making your reservation and to guarantee the villa space. 6 weeks (40 days) prior to the arrival date at Bahia del Sol, the total amount of the reservation needs to be prepaid.
• If you cancel your reservations immediately after booking we charge 10% of the deposit for administrative costs. • Cancellations made more than 25 days prior to arrival will be charged a USD $100 fee.
• Cancellations made within 25 days of arrival will be charged a 30% penalty on the TOTAL VALUE of the reservation. • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the total value of the reservations.
