We stayed a night to catch early morning flight. Nice location, clean rooms (nothing fancy but pretty good) and helpful staff. They had mini breakfast for ones leaving early in the morning. Can walk to airport but not with luggage. Bus stop is very close as well. Helped with calling Taxi as well. Recommend if you have stay close to airport.

wonderful in an Emergency

When checking in the young lady was very kind, friendly and helpful. We checked in about 5:30 and ordered a pizza about 6:15. There was a bit of a problem getting the order through, but it was delicious and we enjoyed it. Then about 12:30, my husband became very sick and I had to go down to the receptionist to order an ambulance for him. Again, the young lady was very helpful and the ambulance came very quickly. We spent the remainder of the night at the hospital and I returned about 11:30 to collect our luggage. We dealt with 3 different receptionists and all 3 were wonderful.
The room was spacious and very nice and the bed comfortable, for the short time we were there. We have stayed there before and have always been very satisfied.

Stayed twice in June. Staff pleasant on both occasions. Efficient check in. Room clean and cozy. Bed comfortable. Walked to the airport to pick up our rental car. Was about 20 minutes brisk walk on a very easy pathway away from traffic. Loved the breakfast buffet - varied and numerous selections.

Stayed in 4 Quality Hotel in Norway. All nice and value for money.
Stayed 3 nights here and one day room was not clean when return at 6pm. Front desk staff name TEA was not helpful. Told her we will wait at lobby and ask her to inform us when the room is clean and after waiting for 20 mins so decided to go up to see the room and the cleaning was done. She did not bother to inform us and let us wait.

Comfortable hotel near the airport

The outside of the hotel looks a little dated, but the inside of the hotel is well decorated. It has good sized car park with free onsite parking. Not much in the local area as it's nearby the airport, not aware of any local restaurants. Check in was fast and friendly.

The room was a good size and clean. Nice comfy bed and pillow is always good when staying away, so slept well. Decoration was very modern and had a suitably sized TV with a multitude of channels. The room lighting was that dim moody setting, which you need to adjust your eyes when entering from a bright environment.

Bathroom was bright, but I felt the shower was a little under powered from what I expected. Shower temperature varied slightly during the shower. Not enough to be too hot or cold, but enough to notice. My wife would have been happy with the mirror and lighting in the bathroom, I would imagine it's very good for doing hair and make up. The underfloor heating was nice, although I did fall down/trip up the 3 inch step a couple of times

Ate in the restaurant the first night. The menu had a selection of modest selection of food on there, a bit too small for my personal preference as I only really had one starter and main that I liked, so I got a pizza from a takeaway the next night. Breakfast was amazing.

I would definitely stay here again for a few days, but not longer due to no local restaurants and hotel menu choice.

The room has beautiful finishes and is only 1km from the airport. There is a hotel shuttle but only runs until 8:35am. There is a large buffet breakfast. Good restaurant for supper as well. They also have complimentary coffee, soft ice cream, and fruit. Large lounge area with foose ball table and shuffle board table. We had a great stay and highly recommend if flying out of Stavanger.

Minutes from airport. Due to road construction, GPS did not get us to the hotel. Watch for the Quality sign on the left!
We enjoyed our stay; room was clean, meals were delicious. No salmon at breakfast, but there were other fish and a vast array of food choices. We ordered dinner; both meals were excellent! It was unseasonably hot during our summer stay. Front desk loaned us a small fan, which helped. On the 2nd floor, the window only opens about 2\", while on upper floors, it opens more. So during a hot time, suggest you get a room on 3rd floor or higher as the room is much warmer than the outside air.

Terrible experience with this hotel.

There was a notice hang from the door handle when we checked in saying that they would donate money to UNICEF if we did not have the room serviced. I took the note in as the room would not be serviced if it was still hanging on the door handle. I found a small plate with dried out fruit on the shelf above the refrigerator. When we returned on Saturday evening, the room was in the same condition as we left it. The beds were unmade, the trash had not been emptied. If I want to donate to UNICEF I will do it directly - I will not be forced to donate. This experience was completely different from our stay in this hotel in February. I have used this hotel for my engineers going offshore since the hotel was built and this experience is completely different from what we had experienced in the past. If they cannot hire enough staff to provide normal hotel services, the hotel rooms should be reduced or the hotel closed.

To say it was -10 oC outside, the hotel was lovely and Warm.
The breakfast was basic, but nice and fresh.
The hotel booklet stated that the gym/fitness area would be open at 7am. I went at 7am and waited till 7.25am and nobody was around, which was annoying as I could have stayed in bed.
The gym looked great though the window.
Needless I would stay here again.

Convenient to Copenhagen airport

The reason we chose this hotel was its proximity to Copenhagen airport and the promise of airport shuttle. It was close to airport but shuttle times are not convenient to US travelers. The first shuttle leaves at 5:40am so if your flight is typically around 6am this is of no use as we had to be at the airport around 4:30am. In the evening we dropped off our rental car and requested a shuttle from hotel but were again informed that only morning shuttles are available. We ended up taking cabs both in the evening and morning. Other than above issue this is a nice hotel with good facilities like most US hotels with onsite restaurants and good lobby areas. The front desk staff did not speak fluent English which was not typical of our experience at other hotels in Norway.

Quite noisy, too close to the airport. Dirty, dust and cobwebs are all over the window frame. Curtain could not cover the window, big gap totally could not shallow the bright sunlight in the early morning, need to put on eyeshades.

Our room was great, very clean and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant that evening was just okay, very limited menu and fairly expensive.

The breakfast however, was amazing. Such good food and so many choices. Shuttle service worked well, on time and comfortable.

In the process of being renovated

The room we were put in was on the verge of being renovated. The floor was noticeably more dated than the rest of the hotel and half of the rooms on the floor had already been stripped out. It was sort of off-putting to see a dark hallway with debris scattered around as soon as we took the stairs to our floor. The room was clean. The hotel will probably be a lot nicer when the renovations are finished.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. However one of them gave us some very incorrect information about the bus schedule, resulting in a 45 minute wait at the bus stop.

After booking the Quality Airport Hotel in Stavanger Airport based on the description in Expedia, upon arrival, the allocated room was not like this at all. Upon a discussion with the Manager on duty, the seeming line was that this is the room and like it. If I knew that this was going to be the case I would have stayed at the numerous other hotels around there. Adding to this, in the room power sockets didn't work, the sink was blocked and leaked on to the floor, a door door was hanging off its hinges so not room maintenance. Finally at breakfast, the staff refused to get marg or butter for us as the breakfast didn't start till 07:30 and the time was 07:25 even though all the food was out. Overall, unless you have to don't stay there.

I asked about their shuttle service since I needed to get to the airport early the next day. They told me they discontinued it 2 years ago. Instead, I took the city bus since there are 4 buses per hour in the morning. It wasn't too big a deal except that it costs 27 kr for the 4-minute trip (though I think I was overcharged since it's supposedly a nærsone with 14-kr fare). My first room had a broken TV, so they moved me to a \"Superior\" room, a larger room with twice the windows. That was very nice of them. Finally, breakfast was expansive with lots of choices.

Decent Stavanger hotel near airport.

Spartan as is everything in Norway, and expensive for what you gte, but given the choices I was Ok with this hotel. Staff was friendly enough, location near the airport was helpful for me, a bus passes by every 20 minutes to/from the airport for NOK 30. Breakfast was decent with wide selection, although dinner selection was very short. For the price, I was happy.

The hotel was generally good. Too far from town as a good tourist location, but we knew that upon booking. Airport noise was no problem at all. Morning buffet was very nice with a good selection of items. Carts were available for luggage, you can pull right up to the front of the hotel and the parking lot is free. Helpful, friendly staff with positive attitudes. The food in the restaurant was less than satisfactory for the price. The quality of the meals were poor. There were ample outlets in the room and wireless reception was fine.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful and very clean. Hotel clerks were friendly and helpful. They were installing a new elevator in the lobby and the only other elevator in the hotel was a service elevator on the other side of the hotel. A very long walk and no one to help you with your luggage. The room was clean but the carpet looked as though it needed to be replaced.

OK- if you need to be as near to the airport as you can.

If time dictates that you need to be as near to the airport as possible then this hotel is OK. The room was basic. There was no in-room coffee or tea making facility- ie no kettle. On the web site there is a promise of a hotle shuttle from and to Sola. This did not exist- albeit there was an apology on the front desk of the hotel. This is a bit late when you end up taking a taxi with a basic 190 krone fee! Staff were polite and helpful in getting us on to the public bus system the following morning.

Ble møtt av en særdeles trivelig resepsjonist, rene og komfortable rom, og fikk førsteklasses frokost inkludert til en fornuftig pris. Pluss for romslig parkering (riktignok mot betaling, men ikke avskrekkende dyrt). Bor gjerne her igjen!

Dårlig opplevelse

Fikk et hotellrom med et toalett som tydeligvis var brukt uten å blitt rengjort etterpå. Fantes ikke luft på rommet så da måtte vi ha vinduet oppe. Som igjen førte til forferdelig støy siden det lå mot veien og rullebanen. Ble lite søvn kan man si. Dette hotellet trenger en solid oppgradering. Bra frokost og vennlig personale iallefall.
