I have stayed here three times and will continue to do so on my future trips to Stavanger! I love the restaurant and proximity to public transportation. I would like if the help desk number was easier to use and the rooms came with some cleaning supplies.

Great place to stay

Stayed here for 3 nights. There is a parking garage literally next door of the hotel which is convenient and a grocery store just down the street. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the main centre. Contrary to the description when we booked there is actually someone at the front desk until 11:00 pm which was great as we arrived after 9:00 pm. The hotel also has a very nice restaurant. The only complaint would be the limit on getting new fresh towels or any house keeping as it is only done on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and anything else is an additional fee. Otherwise we would stay there again.

A Perfect Location

The Frogner House was wonderful. It's an easy walk to center of Stavanger or there's a bus stop right outside the door to get you to other locations using public transport. Grocery and restaurants are nearby including a restaurant in the Frogner House.

Really nice, modern little apartment, close to old Stavanger and the people who worked there were so nice, including those who checked us in and out and the restaurant staff. Bread, pastries, coffee and gelato right in the lobby were all excellent. The only slight concern was no ventilation in the bathroom, no town rack or hook, and one window was broken, so in our roomy kitchen, sitting room and bathroom we had no ventilation or air flow at all. Not good with food, sleep (on the pull-out couch), showers and other bathroom activities occurring with no fan and no working window. It got a little warm and uncomfortable at times. The separate bedroom had a working window, so that helped. Some small, easy repairs will make this place close to perfect! We really liked it.

The apartment was clean, quiet, the view was lovely out over the water and the staff were all avilable and helpful.

The bathroom and kitchen were amply supplied which made the stay feel like home away from home.

Frogner's is not far from the center of town and within walking distance. The bus stop is also conveniently located just in front of Frogner's so getting to and from downton or the Sola Airport by bus is a breeze.

Great value. The room standard was good, it looked like some parts have been recently upgraded. There was a great mini kitchen with everything we needed where we could cook. The bathroom was okay. We had an issue with the window that was fixed right away, so quick service. Some noise from the road outside, but not that loud.
Central and convenient location. Would definitely consider booking again.

The apartments were excellent.!! Spacious...modern...Great!!😁 The check-in procedure was a bit vague. The thing for us which wasn't very clear..was parking. There wasn't any specific hotel parking. We had to park at the parking garage next to the property and pay through Easy park.
The Restaurant on the ground floor was closed. I'm assuming due to rennovations.
We had a great stay!👍Housekeeping staff also very helpful and friendly

Should be better for the value

The staff was the most helpful, friendly, and useful I have ever had at a hotel/place in Norway, kudos for this people! The apartments are a bit dated and could use a little better cleaning. I was in 2 different ones, and there is not much difference between a double and a single, you just get more towels and bed covers, but the size is almost the same (not worth paying the difference, whatever it is). I just had 1 out of 2 elevators working, and it was quite slow. The trash disposal bins at the ground floor could be emptied out more frequently and cleaned better, as it always smell like trash around there. The laundry room is practical, it could also use some cleaning though. The room cleaning is at per request and it costs almost the same as 1 night, you can also pay 70 NOK for each extra towel, I thought all this was overpriced. The wifi in my first room was terrible, it got a bit better in the second room. The location is handy to be close the city center (on a main avenue, lots of buses go by) but it is horribly lonely at night, not really anything 2-3 blocks around, some real small grocery stores only. There should be some designated smokers area outside and not the entrance, which was always crowded with smokers and didn't give me a good impression. For a short (1 week tops) stay I think it is OK, but I suggest for longer stays in Stavanger renting an apartment closer to town, you'll get more insight of town, freedom, space and value for the money.

Close to central, takes 5mins to walk. Room was renovated. Nearly brand new kitchen so you can cook yourself but there was no knife. We asked reception a knife for cooking they gave me cutlery knife. Service should be improved. The building still on renovation process but we did not hear any noise or gave us any inconvenience. I would stay again.

Es war alles gut, nettes Personal, sauber, gut eingerichtet und super Anbindung zur Stadt, 5 min. Man konnte auch zu Fuß gehen.
Nur die Konstruktion der Küche ist wohl von einem Ignoranten gedacht worden. Man musste sich krümmen, um zu kochen oder etwas abzuwaschen, weil die oberen Schränke extrem tief über Waschbecken und 2-Plattenherd ragten. Die oberen Schrankfächer waren hingegen für mich mit 1,65 m schwer zu erreichen.
Die Preise in Stavanger sind generell exorbitant hoch, insofern war das Studio mit 134 Euro nur Übernachtung wohl normal. Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Blick aus dem 7. Stock.

Das Hotel sieht auf den ersten Blick erstmal gut aus. Wenn man allerdings einen zweiten Blick drauf wirft, ist manches dann doch schon in die Jahre gekommen (gerade im Badezimmer). Außerdem war der Ofen in der Küche sehr unpraktisch hoch platziert. Kleine Menschen können diesen gar nicht nutzen. Der Fernseher hat leider kein Chromecast oder ähnliches, so dass man nur ein paar norwegische Sender schauen kann. Ansonsten war aber alles sauber. Leider hatten wir direkt vor unserem Fenster eine Baustelle und auch eine große Straße, die sehr laut ist. Selbst nachts ist hier einiges an Verkehr. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle (statens hus) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß auch in 5 Minuten erreichbar.

Måtte be om nye håndklær etter 5 dager. Ingen rengjøring av rommet på 5 dager. Blir i dag gjort oppmerksom på at håndsåpe, oppvaskmaskintabletter, søppelposer etc. ikke vil bli delt ut etter 5.11. Tenker man da at gjestene skal ha dette med seg, eller kjøpe det i resepsjonen? Lite kundevennlig!
Ellers har våre snart tre uker her vært bra. Stille og rolig for oss som skal på jobb både dag og natt. Beliggenheten er god. Et greit alternativ når man ikke kan bo hjemme i uoverskuelig framtid.

Forsøkte å bytte dato for opphold, men fikk da kun tilbud om et kanselleringsgebyr som kostet 2x hele oppholdet, som i utgangspunktet var stivt grunnet få lediige hotellrom i byen. Det er urimelig dyrt!

The location is nice, and rooms are practical. The lamps did not work. I contacted and they said they will fix it. It was still not fixed the day after and on last day evening they gave us another room card but we were too tired to change room on last night. They also said they will give us some compensation for this inconvenience, but that never happened either!

Kjempekoselig sted med flott restaurant i 1 etj. Fint interiør, god plass. Vi hadde stor plass å boltre oss på.
Eneste minuset var at to av vinduene var i dårlig forfatning, og kunne ikke lukkes helt igjen. Det blåste kald luft inn og det ble kaldt i leiligheten. Det var i tillegg sort mugg i vinduet.

Nice location, fine rooms BUT freezing cold! It almost felt like being outside, as the room temperature was well below standard. When I went down and complained, the only answer was that if the green light is on then the heating is up and running! Didnt see a real effort to resolve the problem and hemce travelled back home, as expected, with a cold!

부엌이 있는 숙소로서는 조금 좁고 환기가 원활하지는 않는다는 단점은 있었지만, 매우 깔끔한 숙소입니다. 주차는 바로 숙소 옆의 주차시설을 사용했는데, 비용은 안내된 액수보다는 조금 비싸게 Easypark을 통해 charge됩니다. 하지만, 전체적으로 만족스러운 숙소입니다.

Deres største pluss var de ansatte. De var utrolig imøtekommende og flinke, noe som satte prikken over ièn på oppholdet mitt.

Fint hotell, veldig fin restaurant. Dessverre veldig lite rullestol/barnevogn vennlig. Falsk brannalarm og evakuering (kunne virke som et tilbakevendende problem?).
