The \"rooms\" are more like bungalows and are wonderful and pretty private. The food at the restaurant was great every time we ate there. The only possible downside is parking and walking to your bungalow, but porters bring your luggage for you and I'm sure they will get it for you when you check out. We took our own. The night tour for frogs was great and easy walk, we actually saw a sloth on our walk. We also took the sloth tour and saw 7! Including 2 moms with babies:) We ran out of time to do the bridge and waterfall:(

I was not sure what to except in the small town of La Fortuna. The hotel offered a beautiful landscaped breathtaking scene of the volcan.
Although while we were there it rained every day we did get a sneak peak one morning of the volcano.

The bathroom was dark and could use better lighting for sure. But it was a minor thing. AC worked well given that it was so hot and humid outside.

Property was beautiful. We stayed in the 400’s section. Monkeys every day! The walking trail is awesome, but a little difficult. A walking stick and mosquito repellent are recommended. Saw spider, and white faced monkeys. The warm pool is perfect! A view of Arenal, perfect temperature, and swim up bar! You never want to get out! Stayed with 8 friends and family. All were extremely happy with their stay. Short drive to downtown and many activities. Sky is about 30 minutes!

Beautiful property, drinks from the bar amazing, pools were clean and gorgeous views. We enjoyed the privacy of the room and our jacuzzi bath on our patio. Rooms were very clean, food at the restaurants were reasonably priced and great quality. Breakfast is buffet style and they change up the main dishes.

The staff was amazing always going above and beyond to make you feel good. i would really like to recognize Laura for being so amazing with us and always trying to accomodate us, someone that really made are stay special was her in any way possible. The rooms where breathtaking specially the Deluxe jacuzzi room i really recommend it if your going with your special someone, i thought we weren't going to have time to use it and it was going to be an extra waste of money, but definitely not. We had the most incredible stay at Hotel Lomas Del Volcan. The bungalows are spacious and unique, the bed was comfortable, and not to mention the incredible private outdoor jacuzzi with our room!
The view of the arenal volcano was spectacular. We loved the warm pool with the swim up bar - so much that we decided to stay on site one evening instead of visiting a hot springs.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. If we ever return to La Fortuna, we will definitely stay here again!
