It’s a hotel with a lot of history — very different from modern chain hotels. It’s not large, but it feels warm and cozy. There are only a few staff members, and they’re all very friendly. It’s a great place to relax and unwind.

Nice little family-run boutique hotel. Rooms were clean, comfortable and a reasonable size. The location is about a twenty minute walk to downtown Vaduz, but an easy bus ride to there or Sargans station, Buchs is a bit more challenging. The hotel provided us with free bus passes for our stay.

Nothing really special about this hotel. No views or anything else outside of a bed and breakfast. The breakfast, however, was excellent. I could hear the people in the room next door talking which is always annoying. Otherwise a good stay.

The hotel was clean and easy to get to. Every single team member was pleasant and very helpful. BUT...No AC in any hotels in the country. Somehow my filters did not catch that. Hot and humid and stuffy. I am a cool temperature sleeper, so while they do provide a fan, it was largely inadequate. Not near any restaurants of note.

A wonderful couple of days in the Principality. Everything about the hotel was top notch. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also very good, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Just a couple meters from the bus stop, but also near a few spots for dinner and/or drinks. Would definitely choose this hotel again for a future visit.

Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Modern hotel, spacious room with a very comfy bed. Good location, approximately 20 minute walk to the centre of Vaduz.
There is a Thai and Italian restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
I would definitely recommend staying here.

Conveniently located Hotel for exploring the regio

Conveniently located on main road whether travelling by car or bus. Warm welcome, large comfortable room. The breakfast is buffet style with a large choice including delicious home made jams. Regular efficient buses stop within a 3 min walk.

Our stay was great! There was a mix up with dates and the hotel staff was very accommodating, made sure we had a room and a great stay. Breakfast in the morning was very delicious. The Liechtenstein area is gorgeous and staff helped recommend tourists sites to visit. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I nice hotel in the business district.

Nice little hotel, only knock on the hotel was the fact that it looks in the pictures to be more a chateau like hotel in a secluded part of town. Instead it's actually a modern smallish 2-3 floor hotel ( No elevator ) on the main strip of town in the business district. Bed was good, room well maintained, staff was bilingual,and the area was convenient.

Exactly what we were looking for

We loved this hotel! My brother and I used it as a base station to go day hiking in the Alps. Every encounter with the staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, and the room clean comfortable and quiet. Also conveniently located near stores and restaurants. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I was visiting this region again.

Quaint yet modern hotel

The service we received on arrival was excellent. The lady that checked us in was able to give us lots of recommendations on where to go and what to do whilst in Liechtenstein. And we were given the option to upgrade to the four star part of the hotel but decided against it as the three star room had a balcony and equally comfortable beds.

The room was good and the beds were very comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of food.

I’d have liked to have given the hotel 5 out of 5, but there are clearly some issues with plumbing that need fixing in the three star area where we stayed.

Hiking in Liechtenstein was a highlight of our trip. The Hotel Schatzmann was a wonderful host - friendly and informative staff and an excellent breakfast. The room was spotless and had a great mountain view. We would highly recommend.

Great stopover between Germany and Switzerland

Liechtenstein is a great stopover between Germany and Switzerland if you want to breakup the drive. It is what it is - a very small country that, outside of specific business travel or skiing, is not going to blow anyone's socks off. If you find yourself in Liechtenstein, Hotel Schatzmann is a great hotel, with a wonderful staff, clean rooms, and a really nice breakfast.

Family owned and operated, daughter of owner was really great and very helpful and welcoming. Stayed in the older original section which was fine, can upgrade at additional cost to the newer section shown on their webpage. Fantastic breakfast, best we've experienced throughout Europe. About a 25 minute walk to downtown Vaduz, or an easy drive down the main street. Free parking. Good internet.

If you are nearby or passing you have to vist Liechtenstein. Not much there and Swiss expensive but somewhere you have to visit once.

My car trunk is larger than Vaduz, Lichtenstein

Let's be honest: Lichtenstein is the size of a postage stamp and there are no autobahn signs for Vaduz until you are right upon it. That said, this was a fantastic stopover on the way north. The hotel was spectacular. The woman at reception (I am sorry I didn't catch your name, but you were on duty in the late afternoon of April 7th) was so helpful and so friendly. She gave us lots of recommendations for Vaduz and for dinner.

The room was gigantic. I was not expecting something so roomy and spacious and luxurious. We were in the \"turret\" room and we had a 90 degree spectacular view of the mountains that surround Vaduz.

Huge TV, small but happy balcony, huge bathroom...this was unexpected and it was a great treat. Hotel Schatzmann was well worth it for anyone coming to Vaduz to visit. Well done!

Nice Small Hotel

A small hotel about a half hour walk from the Vadez downtown area. It was quiet when I stayed there which was nice. Be aware the picture of the front of the hotel with the white building in the foreground, the hotel is the brown building in the background. I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The staff I spoke with were friendly as well.

Family friendly, family owned, excellent service!

This privately owned hotel is a gem. The family owners really made us feel at home away from home - on a weekend brake as a family with a (almost) 2-year old child. The breakfast was good, the room was spotlessly clean and new, Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, parking is plenty and free on hotels grounds, both covered and uncovered. The area lacks much of entertainment, but Liechtenstein being so small, everything was within a very short ride. The owners went a long mile to feel us welcome, and entertained us as much as they could, including the naughty little one. Highly recommended for a weekend visit to Liechtenstein. P.S. We stayed in a \"Comfort\" room in a new annex building.

Nice hotel with a great view

We stayed in five different hotels during our 10 day trip around Switzerland. It was a very nice hotel, the staff was great, and the location was great. We had a balcony that looked out to the mountains and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening drinking wine and eating cheese. This was one of our favorite stops along the trip and we would absolutely recommend it.

Its location is very good, with fantastic breakfast, all seems very nice but when we been there late at 10:00pm, there was no room available. Indeed we paid for that but I dont know what is the problem. however, the first night hotel arranged us to a 5-minute drive away Novotel, which is not so convenient to us but indeed a new style hotel. We enjoyed that. 2nd night we stayed in Mercure n just wanna catch the morning train. When we chk-in, they allowed us to use the minibar without any chgs, so it is a nice deed.

Great little place in Vaduz

Stayed a single night to check out Vaduz as we were traveling through central Europe. The room was comfortable and clean, but what was truly remarkable was the hospitality of the staff. For example, there was only one bath towel in our room and when I brought it up to the lady at the front desk, she put down what she was doing and immediately rectified the problem. The location is a bit outside the city center, but there is a bus station only a minute walk away so very easy to get around. We would certainly stay here again if traveling through Vaduz.

Excellent hotel, excellent food, excellent staff. We stayed for week in January 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed and warm despite the winter weather. The staff were all as friendly and helpful as could be and they always went the extra mile to ensure that our visit was as enjoyable as possible (thanks again to you all!). Breakfast was a very leisurely affair with a great selection of things to choose from, all of excellent quality - we particularly liked the Bircher Muesli and the Bergkase, whilst our son developed a taste for hot chocolate in the mornings.

Nothing in Liechtenstein is cheap but everything seems to be of a high quality. The Hotel Schatzmann was certainly good value and we'd be delighted to go back if we visit Liechtenstein again.

Lovely hotel with great service and food!

This is a very nice, clean hotel with great food and friendly staff. Location is a bit out of town but easy to get in and out of. Dinner in the restaurant was superb and very reasonably priced for a 6 course dinner which included two complementary courses and bread. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in perfect location!

We stayed at hotel schatzmann for a couple of nights on a weekend stay in Liechtenstein. Couldn't praise the hotel or the place enough! There was one girl on the reception desk all weekend who I regret we didn't catch her name, but she was very polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome. 5 out of 5 :)

Excellent Vaduz Hotel

This was one of my favorite hotels I stayed in on my trip through Europe. Although the rooms are a little bit dated, they are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, and they work hard to ensure that you have a great stay. The hotel is within walking distance of some nice restaurants, and it is a quick drive to the downtown Vaduz tourist area.

Best Night Sleep!!!

This Hotel had great reviews and met everyone of them for us plus more. It was just little details that set this Hotel apart from others. Bonus that they had English TV Channels, but just the point that they printed out a sheet which told you which language each channel was , so you didn't have too scroll through the channels to find them. The room was large with comfy chairs to sit in, so you don't need to sit on the bed all the time. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it sounded delicious. If you want a comfortable hotel and a great location, this is definitely one to stay at!

Toimiva hotelli Liechtensteinissä

Hotellilla on hyvä ja nopea asiakaspalvelu, eli sain Hotels.comin viestillä kerrottua respalle myöhäisestä saapumisesta hotelliin. Hotelli ratkaisi myöhäisen sisääntuloni ongelmitta, siitä kiitos teille!

Hotellissa on erinomaiset suihkut, eli vedenpaine on korkea ja suihkukoppi ei ole ahdas. Hotellin sängyt olivat erinomaiset, eli eivät liian pehmeitä tai kovia, vaan juuri sopivan rentouttavia mutta ei upottavia patjoiltaan.

Hotellin aamiaisella on kaikki tarvittava, toki lisäisin itse murot vahvemmin valikoimiin. Myös kaakaojauhe saisi olla esillä aamiaisella kylmän maidon kera. Aamiainen on kaiken kaikkiaan hyvä ja ruokasali on sympaattinen.

Hotellissa on myös minijääkaappi, mistä plussaa. Hotellirakennuksessa on myös mukava aulatila, jossa voi sohvaryhmän avulla vaikka suunnitella päivän ohjelmaa aamulla.

Hotellihuone oli tilava ja siisti. Naispuoliset matkustajat voivat arvostaa myös käsirasvaa jota huoneessa oli.

Hotelliin pääsi kohtuullisen helposti bussilinjalla 11, joka kulki varsin myöhään Itävallan Feldkirchenistä.

Ensikerralla sitten vähän pidempi vierailu, nyt hotellli oli meille vain lepopaikka yöksi kohti matkalla kotia.

Hotelli voisi toimia hyvin myös romanttista lomaa hakevalle pariskunnalle, jota tukee se, että hotellissa on oma ravintolansa.

Una muy buena estadía.

Cuando llegué tuve que avisar por teléfono, e inmediatamente vinieron a recibirme, muy amablemente. El hotel está muy bien mantenido, la habitación estaba impecable. Solo faltaba una caja de seguridad. El restaurante no funciona todos los días, sino aleatoriamente. El personal es muy servicial, y siempre está dispuesto a dar una mano, brindando más de lo que se espera.

Saubere, gut ausgestattete Zimmer, wunderbar leckeres und ausgiebiges Frühstück und sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Nicht zu vergessen, den vorzüglichen Gaumenschmaus im Restaurant VIVID, welches im selben Haus liegt. Was nicht unerwähnt bleiben darf, ist die vorzügliche Bedienung im Restaurant. Da wird der Gast wirklich wie ein König bedient. Sehr, sehr angenehm - kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Rundum perfekte Nacht

Es war einfach alles perfekt. Ich hatte das ***-Zimmer und es war alles perfekt. Der Balkon war schön, um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Das Frühstück war das beste, seit langem.
Das Restaurant war am Abend leider geschlossen (Geschlossene Gesellschaft) aber auch das empfohlene Thai-Restaurant war sehr gut! Ich würde, auch privat, wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.

Die Küche am Abend ist einsame Spitze.

Sauberes, eher teures Hotel

Wir verbrachten eine Nacht im Stammhaus des Hotels, das ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist.
Das Zimmer mit Balkon sowie das Bad waren sauber, alles nicht mehr ganz neu. Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Buffet-Frühstück.
Der Preis scheint uns etwas hoch, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass die Umgebung gar nichts bietet. Die Hauptstrasse führt vor dem Hotel vorbei und dürfte für schlechte \"Schlafer\" ein Problem aufgeben.
Erfreulich das Menu im hauseigenen Restaurant: sehr gut und mit Liebe zubereitet. Der Chefkoch liebt zweifellos seine Arbeit und hat auch Fantasie: Auch die Teller sind kreativ zubereitet!
