This is a good value hotel in a convenient location - with easy driving access to Muscat airport, city centre, beaches and Al Mouj harbour. There is a large mall and numerous Asian restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was clean, well managed and well maintained. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was a highlight - lots of choice for breakfast. We had the evening buffet and found it was good value with many options. The rooftop pool was welcome after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value base while exploring Muscat and the surrounding area.

Was an ok stay- booked this property due to it advertising the valet parking but when we got there was no such thing and underground car park always full and street parking was paid unless we found a back street parking which was hit and miss.

Good and bad!

Front desk staff hopeless. The rest of staff courteous and helpful. The one’s who stood out were Ali, Amal and Jaffa the chef. We arrived around 7.30AM and front desk said we couldn’t check in till 2PM without paying extra 10OMR. I explained we were Gold level members of hotels.com, and would appreciate consideration. we were reduced to sleeping in coffee shop. On 3 further occasions I approached the desk three more times during the morning including on duty manager, but staff couldn’t care less. Eventually 5 OMR and 3 hours later let into our room. Front desk displayed complete disdain. It was a shame front desk were trained so poorly as the rest of the staff were excellent as was the pool etc. front desk needs training in customer relations. Hotel great, staff excellent with exception of front desk and duty manager.

This hotel was great for our family of four. It was clean safe and the staff was very friendly. The hotel breakfast buffet was wonderful. We ate dinner at Olive restaurant for dinner and had some great food.

Everything was very good to be fair. The only things i didn’t like was that their was no dedicated space to work on your laptop except in the lobby where there’s only one socket outlet to charge your laptop, meaning only one person in the whole lobby can charge. Also since the lobby is the only place (other than your room) where you can work, it was very noisy because there were kids playing in the lobby and others crying, it was very annoying. Other than that, everything else was pretty good, from cleanliness, to having s friendly staff. Would definitely visit again but not on a work trip.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Ramada Encore by Wyndham, Muscat, Al-Ghubra, and within our short stay, it was truly exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt welcomed and well taken care of.

Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel offers convenience for both business and leisure travelers. Muscat International Airport, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, and the Royal Opera House of Muscat are all within a short 15-30 minute drive. Additionally, there are numerous ministries, government offices, and major malls nearby, such as Oman Avenue Mall and Muscat Grand Mall, just across from the hotel.

The hotel, only 3 years old, shines brightly with 163 rooms and suites, all aesthetically designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment. Whether you’re here for work or leisure, you’ll find everything you need. The thoughtful design of the space accommodates busy agendas and leisure breaks alike. The friendly staff ensures a warm welcome upon arrival, and delightful surprises enhance your stay. It’s the little things that make a big difference.

The hotel offers two levels of underground parking, and there are also several paid parking lots at street level (which are free on weekends - Friday, Saturday, and other public holidays). Additionally, there's an onsite gym on level 9 and a rooftop swimming pool. While not huge, it's functional and closes at 10 PM. Restaurant is at the level
one. I highly recommend Ramada Encore by Wyndham, Muscat.

Lovely reception staff, friendly and welcoming.
The location is good, about 20 min drive to mutrah but close to the big shopping mall and next door to a gas station.
10 min drive to the airport so great if you have an early/ late flight
Room is large and bed is big and comfy, had really great sleep here

There are lot of things that i wish to raise as a complaint about this Hotel, but two of them were very disappointing to me;
1- It was mentioned that hotel has free shuttle from the airport which was not true and we had to organise it in advance and was coming with extra charges of 15 OMR
2- Whilst i booked a single room, but i was given a room with the shared internal door and i couldn't sleep properly because the next room or better say the next door guest could be hear easily.

Very disappointed with this hotel and booking that i made.

Great location right in the centre of Muscat..so everything is around you, really good breakfast! Room was spotless and quiet! Decent pool area on the roof! Walkable to the malls nearby and most all the staff were impeccable! Specially mention to Eric for welcoming me so warmly at 4am and helping with anything I needed through out

Short stay to work on a deadline & a restful sleep

Room was not the same as my previous stay (I was upgraded that time) but service and housekeeping were prompt when I made 2 complaints about the room/toilet and the busted kettle. Overall, room was clean and comfortable.

Some minor gripes which I was too lazy to call the reception: (1) time i was told regarding timings of pool/gym was not accurate as it was still closed when i got there at 5am; (2) sanitizer dispenser outside elevator in 5th floor, although full, was not dispensing as its clogged. hopefully they test it and not just visually check given that its a necessity.

Overall, I got a peaceful sleep and finished my deadline.

just came and zonked out so was not able to optimize facilities the hotel (wellness, wifi) but will be looking forward to another staycation here.

only comment is both the limited parking in the building (it was full in the evening) and the (gov't) paid parking in front (which likely is used for both hotel and non-hotel guests).
