We had a wonderful stay at The Milo Hotel while celebrating our anniversary. The whole trip was special, and sharing it with my amazing wife made it truly unforgettable. The atmosphere was relaxing and romantic, perfect for a quiet getaway together.

The hotel is situated at a nice location in front of the beach, surrounded by various good restaurants and just a few blocks away from the shopping area. You can walk everywhere. Beautiful city. The only thing in the room - the shower was very tiny. Hard to move around. Other than that, it was a beautiful landscape. The staff was super nice and welcoming.

Only stayed 2 nights so didn’t get to partake of the amenities such as s’mores, bikes, jacuzzi etc but appreciated the fact they were offered. Staff friendly and professional, especially the valets. This is a nice, older property that has done some nice updates to their rooms and grounds. Our room was \"ocean view\" but it was peek a boo at best and was at a junction where there was a lot of foot traffic in front of it so our curtains were closed the majority of the time. We were also placed next to the janitor closet that was not upgraded with insulation during their remodel. Every morning at 8:15am it sounded like someone was coming through the walls and no change made after bringing it to managements attention. Our biggest complaint was the HVAC. It wasn't functioning properly and the humidity was so high that everything (clothes, towels, sheets etc.) were damp the whole time. Although it was a nice property and great location, I'm not sure I would recommend.

Room was very small it’s valet parking only which is silly because the rooms are so spread out so you have to drop off your car and walk with all your stuff . It was raining super hard so we we’re soaked ! The chads restaurant was super cute but the food was awful ! The location is good right accross from the beach . It would be rainning severely on Dec 25th and flood warning in santa baraba and a lot places in CA. I called to cancel the hotel reservation on dec 24th, the hotel Manager refused to give the refund. I didn't travel for 5 hrs to follow CA traffic recommendation and lost my deposit. Just terrible how the hotel handled the refund due to weather.

The staff was amazing. They made my wife and I feel so special on our honeymoon. They ordered us a bottle of champagne, it wasn’t something they carried at their lobby market place either. Valet was so accommodating and polite. The room was so clean with a great view of the ocean. They conveniently kept great communication through text (my preferred method. Provided great recommendations of things to do for us. The outdoor patio area had fire pits for us to relax at too. I could go on and on. If you are looking for a great experience I highly recommend The Milo.

We look the room facing the ocean and it was really really good. It was kept clean every day and the stay was really pleasant. The only thing for people to note is that the ocean view rooms face the streets so a lot of noise can come if you want some quiet time in the night.

Other Milo staff are equally impressive when it comes to customer service. They are very attentive to our needs. Patios are so nice and cozy for the family to hang around especially at night. The staff was wonderful and so kind. Everything is very pet-friendly. The room was clean and a great size with the most comfortable bed/mattress I've ever slept on. The view from my room was incredible. The only negative I experienced was that the wifi was very slow in the room and it would take a long time for things to load, but I wasn't there for business so I didn't really need it. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a cute spot to be at for our 3 day getaway for our anniversary. We booked the ocean view room which was beautiful. I would have given 5 stars but the room was right next to the Main Street and we heard all the cars passing by. I can only imagine during the busier months. But other than that the staff was absolutely amazing and when our water wasn’t warming up, they were ready to get it fixed right then and there. Just took a long time for the water to warm up.
They had smores every night and multiple bon fire pits. We ended one of our nights by the fire w snores and wine. I would definitely rebook but maybe not an ocean view room.
