Worst confort inn stay yet. Room wasn't clean during my 2 days stay. Conditions outside were unsafe, took a major fall getting out of the back door. Reported the condition to the front desk to be told that \"the guy\" doing snow removal had been by and there was nothing he could do. No way to report unsafe conditions on their website and manager would only be back on Monday...Too stupid to ask someone to put salr or sand in front of the door or do it himself. That was my last stay there for sure. Worst part was that the ice build-up was just in front of the door, rest of walkway was clear. Extremely unhappy customer, luckily I didn't break anything but saw stars for a while while laying down on the cement walkway.

The room was clean and comfy. Enjoyed the quality body lotion and hot shower. The bed is a bit too firm for my liking but the room was well setup. The breakfast was excellent. I found it quite pricy but I’m leaving satisfied with the quality of the service.

Carpets seemed to be very dirty. There was a moldy, damp smell in the lobby and even in the room. The mattress seemed to have thinned from years of use, I could feel the metal spring pressing on the body. Not worth what we paid for at all.

Comfortable stay and excellent service

Stayed at this location on the way to Tadoussac. Felt we could have stayed another night. Nice room, clean and comfortable. Washroom with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, all necessities. Friendly staff, good service.
Excellent breakfast, different bread options, beverages, cooked egg, sausages, grilled potatoes, waffles. and just a lot of breakfast food.

C'était cher payé pour cette chambre. 273$ incluant es taxes pour la nuit du 2 août dernier. Chambre non restaurée, tapis et divan lit usé. Lit qui renfonçait vers le centre. (parfait pour une personne, mais pas pour deux)Déjeuner à 9h15 et il n'y avait presque plus rien. Machine à café dans la chambre, mais pas de café.

Have been staying at this chain of hotel for many years in a row. This time i found it to be not the greatest experience. Carpets were muddy, there was tape on the stairs heading up to second floor. Kids running up and down the hallways close to midnight.

Trop cher pour ce que c'est.

Pour ce prix, je me serais attendu a un hotel de plus haut standard. Malheureusement, on est resté dans le meme decor habituel mais avec un acoustique de type motel bas de gamme. Serieusement, entendre le couple discuté jusqu'à meme avec la tele ouverte et je vous garantie qu'il n'y avait pas de chicane de couple. Seulement un mauvais acoustique...une premiere et dernière fois pour moi a cet endroit.

Excellent breakfast with staff member replenishing and cleaning up as needed. The best scrambled eggs I have ever had ! I would appreciate real dishes instead of paper and plastic, or at least a way to compost plates, napkins, leftovers etc as well as recycling for yogurt cups etc. The room did have a recycle bins which is excellent. We appreciated that our roo. Was spotless!

Comfort inn chicoutimi. Room 231 needs repairs. Chair ripped, rug worned. Refriferator not dusted and to top these, on second day stay, we returned back to our room 8 oclock, only to see the room was never cleaned. That was a real disappointment. On checking in we were given a room that had not been cleaned yet. We had to wait 30 minutes for a room. The beds were comfy and we were pleased to see windows we could open for fresh air. The roof was being replaced which meant some noise ftom 7 a.m. on. The carpets needed a good vacuuming. I think they are working on refreshing the hotel which is showing its age. The breakfast was tasty. The staff we met were friendly.

Pas le plus propre, ni le pire que j'ai vu. J'ai resté quand même les 3 nuits car je ne suis pas quelqu'un qui aime se plaindre, mais je n'y retournerai malheureusement pas. Le réfrigérateur était un peu sale, beaucoup de poussière sous le lit, des éclaboussures de sang ou de je ne sais quoi séchées sur le mur, le matelas n'est pas confortable, le séchoir à cessé de fonctionner et pas assez de nourriture pour le déjeuner, et j'en passe... Sinon, L'employé de nuit qui m'as acceuillis était vraiment très très sympathique et attentionné.

A disaster!!!

Despite the fact our booking included free HOT breakfast, at our arrival we were told that the breakfast will be delivered in 1 bag with 1 small muffin, 1small orange juice and, 1 small yogourt. No coffee, tea, just a paper bag waiting for us at the entrance, with the suggestion to eat to CORA in the neighborhood. We paid a high price to have HOT breakfast, $154 per night it's a lot for what we got. We stayed 4 nights, no cleaning , no new towels, or sheets were provided during this time.A nomad life in a 2 star hotel which charges like 4 stars as price .At our arrival, I was told that I can leave the hotel next day... they don't care, the message was 'take it or leave it'. At our check out, they charged a higher price than on our reservation. I showed them the printed reservation and they returned the difference. It is Covid, the IT or the secretary fault. I was at other Confort Inn hotels before and it was fine. This one in Chicoutimi is a desaster for the services and customer satisfaction. Completely disapointed. Not reccommend it to anyone.
