I liked the location and the door outside feature...loved that my vehicle could be parked outside my room.
The toilet upon check in, in my room was dirty and the bar toilet was dirty. My shower needed to be cleaned upon arrival.
My greeting from the bar area was aggressive.
The food was good, the drip coffee just ok.
The bed was comfortable.

I love the place, and the room is very spacious esp for the family, my children was just offset because the pool is not available for use, but the rest are all good especially the staff in the reception very accomodating, I will recommend this to my friends and when we come back , we will stay again in this hotel.

Très beau séjour à l’Auberge Parasol. Bâtiment bien entretenu, de style motel avec entrée extérieure. Très bel emplacement avec vue. Chambres confortables et spacieuses, rénovées en partie. Bon resto-bar Le Sunset avec musique un peu forte mais menu diversifié et complet. Jolie piscine creusée avec chaises longues et tables. Idéal pour les vacances d’été!

It’s not place that can meet higher higher standards to compare with other expensive hotels,this isn’t hotel but motel or auberge but it’s expensive and nothing special about price,I had room without breakfast for $200+tax,during the morning I went to the reception to ask for sugar so I can make coffee in the room as there is coffee machine;the lady at reception was busy on the phone taking some reservations from someone calling,I waited for 15-20 minutes but she was still busy,the girls(server) were passing through at the reception serving breakfast in the dining room,so I decided to ask those girls if I can get some sugar……they told me no:I have to wait for receptionist to ask her and she can give me sugar I was really surprised how they treated me,just sugar 🙄🙄🙄I was regretting such money for that room,I decided to go inside restaurant where they were serving breakfast and grabbed few sugar from the table then I left:
If you get room less than 100 a night it’s ok but above that price I suggest you look for better hotel on Talbot boulevard much better hotels and good services:
I will never go back to this hotel

The hotel was clean although I did notice that some areas were a bit outdated. However, it’s evident that the owners are making efforts to renovate which is commendable.
The service was excellent! A warm and welcoming staff. They make you feel right at home and their friendly demeanour was much appreciated.
My only minor concern was that we didn’t always receive coffee pod refills and accessories unless we specifically requested or fetched them ourselves.
The food at the restaurant was good and service just as good.
The hotel has a lovely homey ambiance. The fire pit area outside on the lawn is a wonderful extra. It’s a perfect spot to relax, enjoy lunch, read or take in the surroundings. The view is just absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset.
Kudos to one of the owners - Vincent! His continuous presence on site and interactions with guests made the experience even more special.
I would recommend this Auberge.

L’auberge m’a surprise par la qualité du service et des commodités.
Le propriétaire est sur place et s’assure que les gens passent un séjour agréable en ayant un service à la clientèle attentionné. Bravo !
Restaurant tout neuf avec une terrasse vue sur le fjord et un service pizza disponible pour emporter dans la chambre ou sur le bord de la piscine est super.
J’étais dans la partie rénovée, j’y ai bien dormi. Les chambres et les salles de bains sont propres.
Rien d’extraordinaire niveau matelas et tête d’oreiller mais rien d’affreux non plus.
La piscine était propre et le site bien entretenu.
J’y retournerai certainement.

This auberge was good value for the money. Nice view of the river from our front door. We were there during the long weekend. There had been a wedding reception in the main building. Beer cans were not cleaned up until Monday. I'm sure it was because they were short-staffed. Everything was nice and tidy by Monday.
Probably best to ask for a main floor room unless you don't mind a lot of exterior stairs.

Great location and amble parking. Beautiful view at the top of the mountain. Rooms have had a facelift but if you look closely you will see paper peeling and a little rough around the edges. However it was clean and attractive. Little fridge and a keurig were useful. Evening man was lovely and supportive of me trying to speak French.

My room was on the second floor with a view of the river at a distance as hotel is on a hill. Old establishment but clean. Tiles on the bathroom floor were cracked in two distinct lines which lets suppose the structure is moving. Breakfast was good and service was good but would have preferred that it opens before 8:00 am. Plenty of free parking and large grassy area going downhill with benches to sit.

La chambre était censée d'être non fumeur. En ouvrant la porte, une odeur de cigarette nous a frappé au nez. Quand j'ai parlé avec l'employé de la réception, il a pris note, mais s'est excusé en disant qu'ils ne pouvaient pas faire la police dans chaque chambre. Il n'y avait pas d'autres chambres disponibles non plus. Quand ils ont fait le ménage avant notre arrivée, pourquoi ils n'ont pas remarqué l'odeur? Décevant.

There was a strong smell of dampness and musty in the room, several lamps did not work, the room was very dark and inconveniently located - overlooking the parking lot, and not like in the advertising brochure - overlooking the bay ... Furniture (chairs were broken), it was felt that the room was completely abandoned and it was unpleasant to be in it. We will not go there again, it will be a different place ...
