My stay with Vie Hotel is very pleasant. I stayed in the Executive Suite. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and clean. There’s no smell on the pillows and comforters which I appreciate very much.

It’s a beautiful hotel. The BTS is just outside the building so it’s convenient to get to the biggest malls.

I loved my stay here. I had a minor issue (valid one, not a Karen here) and the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating.
They were very professional and police in every interaction. Pim, Queen and Cookie were a delight to speak with!

I loved the fact that the property had a one way shuttle (tuk tuk) service to the following nearby malls (MBK, Siam Paragon, Central World, and Platinum Fashion Mall). The breakfast in the morning had a lot of options and the food was delicious. I definitely looked forward to breakfast every day. The staff in the morning for breakfast were so polite and nice. The staff made my morning start off great. They had Thai options for food and American type of food also such as, eggs, pancakes, bacon, and the yogurt with fruit in it was so delicious. The different juices were a great too. The hotel staff in general were all very nice and polite and were very helpful when it came to ordering food or getting shuttle service. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the room is so spacious and huge. The house keepers were very fast and efficient and any time we left the hotel the room was clean when we came back. We also had gotten a chocolate chip cookie any time the room was cleaned and our waters were always stocked. The hotel is definitely in a good area as we were able to walk around and find different food options and also massage places. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one staying in Bangkok.

On arrival we were told that the hotel was almost full and therefore we had been upgraded to a suite. The suite was huge with a dining area a large L shaped sofa in the lounge area, separate bedroom with large bathroom with walk in shower, bath and separate wc. Cannot fault this hotel, service and breakfast was superb.

Complimentary canapes & drinks @ Piano Club after a smooth check in. Shrimp on toast & salmon parcels were fresh and tasty, and replenished frequently. Cut cakes were not too sweet.
Room was spacious but the big windows were visibly stained, what a shame that they're too dirty for sunrise pics from within. Overall lighting in room was too dim.
Shower cubicle did not leak but very bad & not comfy at all. Water pressure was super weak and the worst part was the very inconsistent water temperature--one moment normal temp then suddenly turned scorching , then icy the next.
Shampoo Body lotion bottles were not refilled, and only three tissues left in the box.
Towels weren't white & fluffy, furniture rather old cos we could easily spot paint touch-ups in many areas e.g. wooden racks & shelves esp inside wardrobe.
A/C was noisy & too cold and we had to switch it off in the bedroom to just rely on the a/c from the living room. Coffee capsules tea sachets provided. They have a small pool and a gym and pool bar service was pleasant.
Front desk staff amiable , obliging , courteous and communicate well in English. Hotel is within walking distance to Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, the BTS and many massage parlours in the area. It does not smell fresh, clean and nice outside the main entrance waiting for GRAB or just taking a brief stroll--smells musty, stale and an unpleasant stench. Perhaps it is the nearby sewage or their own refuse collecting problem.
It is in a safe neighbourhood.

Pros:
Our stay came with breakfast buffet. I loved the food variety and quality. Food variety is so-so with ~2 Asian Cuisine.

The service staff was friendly. Great service at the restaurant! I dropped my bag while struggling with my toddler, and the waiter automatically brought a stool for my bag.

There is a massage area that is really affordable with great massage just opposite. You will need to walk a few mins to the overhead bridge to cross the road though.

Cons:
The room does not have blackout curtains. My toddler wakes up earlier than usual due to the light.

Air conditioning in the room is cool enough, however, the aircon in the restaurant and the lobby is quite warm =|

We stayed at property in Feb 2020 and again in Feb 2023. After our first visit we considered it one of the best hotel experiences we ever had. Sadly, some changes have changed out mind. It still is a very nice hotel, but the things that made it special are missing. *** no welcome drink, daily fruit piece in Room, bath salts bag / loofah bag, front door/ desk staff asking/ offering help, opening doors, etc. Finally, we stayed in a room with the happy hour privilege. Yes, it is a shell of what it was previously, but still nice. However, the first day as soon as I walked into the room I was approached by a man with a clipboard asking my room number. When told he commented that I checked in that day then proceeded to tell me to stand aside and wait until he checked with front desk. It was uncomfortable, embarrassing, and unprofessiona, especially since this he is only for guests staying in designated rooms. Does he not have a list of those room numbers? Anyway, he returned and said ok and handed me a menu…no apologies. Bad first impression. I had a similar experience at front desk when asking for coffee pods in room since non had been left. I mention this because the lack of professional was evident and I kept comparing why such a huge drop since my last visit. While this hotel is a nice place to stay it is missing the magic it once had.

Terribly unstable water temperature - kids and myself got scalded a couple of times during our stay or was treated to freezing water intermittently. Bathroom doors to heavy to open easily with one hand. Huge room, nice mattress but pillows too soft

Asiana airline lost our luggage (shame on them) staffs at this hotel went above and beyond to help us get our luggage back when we can not reach the airline. They were in constant communication with bbk airport. Overall, hotel was very clean and staffs was very responsive to our needs. We will be staying here again! Highly recommended!

The VIE Hotel is perfectly situated in centeral Bangkok. close to shopping, restaurants and the BTS line. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Service is excellent. Concierge Boom is a jewel and exemplifies Thai hospitality. This hotel is perfect for visiting Bangkok.

The Vie is a very nice hotel in a good location. It is quite close to the Skytrain. The rooms are becoming a bit dated. COVID has limited the breakfast selection but it it still good and of high quality. The Piano Bar Hours are from 3-5. It would be better to offer it later in the day. The gym is excellent with up-to-date equipment. My friend used the spa and loved it. Great value for the money.

2nd stay. Would have been perfect if room was properly set up for 3 persons as per booking and not upon request after checked in. Hair-dryer was missing but promptly delivered after a call. I think the slippers were washed or reused as crumpled and not wrapped. Breakfast was good with fresh juices, yoghurt and nice croissants with prompt replenishment although in small portion. Been to Bangkok 2-3 times yearly and this is the only hotel that did not provide any perks being gold member despite listed as vip access hotel.

Great small hotel, gorgeous room with floor board not carpet (one less thing to worry for parents with asthmatic child), lovely and helpful staff, excellent buffet breakfast, excellent gym equipment. A bit of the downside, pool is abit small, no kids pool and surface is rough. Overall we really love VIE hotel and will go back for sure.

The location of the hotel is great. It’s just a short walk (10-15 mins) to Siam Paragon, though the walk is not very pleasant that one has to walk up and down a bridge.
We booked deluxe room with a king size bed and our is very spacious and possibly fit 2 king beds. Everything in the room is nice and clean. Breakfast is also excellent with varieties including local dishes.

I have only 2 recommendations:
1) the shower floor is a bit slippery. That type of tiles should only be used on the walls but not for shower floor
2) the pool looks very nice but the bottom needs some maintenance. The tiles are cracked and it’s hard to walk on (I know I should be swimming and not walking!).

Overall it is a very nice hotel and we would definitely go back!
