I didnt stay the hotel is not as advertised. The lobby is disgusting! The reception couch is covered in stains, the floor wasnt swept with general uncleaniness! The reception was rude an unwelcoming. Used the main floor washroom it was disgusting. I didnt bother to look at the room if the lobby was this bad! Checked in to another hotel. The outside seating area was a mess! Im not a fussy person this was awful!

The room wasn’t properly cleaned…
The ac was full of dust.
Although it was stipulated on the warning note for the annual electricity verification; their elevators were not working when I needed to go down from the 21th floor!

Less than 10 mins walk to BTS and shopping mall. Have 711 store very near. Look like old hotel but was comfortable. Have bath tub but no toothbrush provided. Have spa onsite. Room was clean daily.

Our home from home

Our hotel of choice when staying in Bangkok, as they know us, they immediately gave us a free upgrade, which they didn't ned to do, we were only staying one night.we had an early coach to catch next morning, so would miss breakast, so they did us sandwiches & gave us a favorable rate for their mini bus to take us to the coa h pick up. The rooms have undergone their second refurbishment & look back up to their previous glory. We have our last night in thailand back in Bangkok & have another night back at the residence, wouldnt stay anywhere else, its a home from home for us.

We book online stated one kid of 6 yr old. And hotel.com state is free breakfast for all. But on the spot tell me breakfast half price for kid of 6 year old. And they check for the paper slipper given. As one go under the bed. They hold me on until they find that out.

Finally there is construction now, it is not possible to walk to paragon. They should have stated that when booking or provide a free shuttle. The location is bad due to the construction.

Else location is excellent. breakfast spread was good. room is not fantastic, but reasonable for town area and this rate. security within hotel is good, room card is needed to access the lift. Wifi is good too.

Big and clean family 2-room apartment

The hotel itself is quite conveniently located...only 10 mins walk to Siam Paragon and other malls but is located on a small street and access is not too convenient. HOtel wise...the building is quite old and the exterior and hallways show its age. The room itself (we booked 2-bedroom apartment) is large and spacious. If you need the space at limited budget, it's a great choice, otherwise there's many other hotels. Breakfast is nothing to shout about. Staff is welcoming and helpful.

We stayed for 4 nights. It was a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly.The room was big, clean and tidy. The breakfasts were nice for American and Asian style. The hotel's location was close to the BTS station. It took about 10 minutes walk to the station or the MBK shopping mall. It also close to the some very big cloth centres at Water Gate area.

1) Poor location.
2) Request for 1 extra access card, need 300 bhat.
3) Charging drinking water without informing price.
4) My sister & I stay for 4D3N. First night we request for mineral water, the receptionist said need to pay money. Then we bought it ourselves from 7-11. Second night we request for mineral water with another receptionist, we has been told that, we can contact the operator when our water are finished & he will send it to us. But then, we didn’t make any calls & request for it. Because we bought it ourselves again. Third day when we back to hotel after room cleaning in the evening. We saw the water has been refilled, then we just drink it without further doubts. Last day when we checked out in the 7:00am morning, the staff said we need to pay 120 bhat for extra drinking water.
5) When I request for receipt, he said no receipt will be given.
6) Conclusion, not satisfied with the hotel services. I won’t recommend it to me friend.

Overall an enjoyable stay

Good hotel location! Short walk to Platinum Mall. The restaurant below has decent food. Reception always manages to get metered taxis for us. Room was spacious with a table for dining.

Toilet amenities were very basic. Recommend to bring your own toiletries. Hotel also was not willing to provide an extra towel for my infant.

Cleanliness can be improved, there were a few baby cockroaches in the room.

Overall an enjoyable stay.

Location is good. Request for either connecting room or same floor due to family trip but no available while check in. Room is small. 2 different room with 2 different floor, 1 with newly refurbished and 1 is old look. Lighting at corridor are dim n dark. 1 main lift to access all floors, long waiting time. Mini bar menu quite misleading. Overall is ok, but room to improve.

The hotel is a little hard to find for taxi drivers. But you can let them know to make a turn into the lane when they see a 7-11 convenience store. There is a shortcut from the hotel that leads to Siam Paragon which I did not try because this shortcut was also used by vehicles which use it to get from Siam Paragon straight to Petchburi Road. Overall, the stay at the hotel was enjoyable and I would come back again the next time.

Our stay at Residence Rajtavee Hotel

The room is clean and comfortable.

Easy access to Pratunam and massage at Soi 15, however not many drivers could find the location though we mentioned near Platinium, IT mall, Indonesia Embassy, very frustrated.

Is a long walk from BTS to hotel during night time unlike day time we could access the back road to Siam Paragon. Night time might be too dangerous for ladies to walk back the same route.

My next choice will consider hotel very near to BTS, the long walk to and fro really tired me out.

Check-in and check-out process were smooth. Rooms appeared small at first but since my family stayed in connecting rooms, we had more space to move about. Bathrooms were adequately clean and the mattress and duvet cover were clean and fresh-smelling. The mattress was absolutely relaxing. Siam mall area, the Platinum Mall as well as the nearest BTS are all within 10 minutes walk. TV only had Thai and TVMonde channels. The bell boys were helpful. Halal restaurants are available nearby. I loved my stay at The Residence Rajtaevee.

First Stay in Residence Rajtaevee Hotel

By looking at the rate you pay is reasonable By the outlook is far away to rate it. Many cab driver do not know this hotel. By right I have reserve booking for a family room but upon requesting the Hotel to show me the room is really old and run down.
Upon I reach home I straight away cancel the booking for my family holiday to stay in this hotel . As for me personally I still will drop by to stay but not for family. Advise the hotel to install more light as it too dark as children may scare.

I would like to thanks the hotel for allowing us to postpone our stay, despite we have made a no-change allowed booking. The rooms are recently renovated, clean, and comes with bath tub. The area is also fantastic for shopping, yet quiet for rest at night. I spent all the days shopping within walking distance from the hotel :). I will come back again.

Friendly bell boy, he tried to explain me how to go the place that i asked him even his english very poor.
But the reception girl is not really friendly, her attitude like don't want to bother us.

The room i booked actually is a double bed room, but they give me 2 single bed and said will change me on next day, after i stay for 4 night also not one arrange for me, this is what i very disappointed.

The light in the room is too dark, must give approvement.

Nice hotel with good location to malls and BTS

Overall experience is so great. The location of the hotel is so good that I can easily get to shopping malls such as Siam Paragon and Siam Centre and etc and also the BTS station. Besides, just 1 minutes away from the hotel, you can find a convenient stores(7-11) which really nice during hungry time. The hotel is a lot better than what I have read of others experience before I make the booking and I'm glad to make the correct choices.

The location is very nice for shopping. You can walk from hotel to Siam Paragon and then access every shopping center and BTS.
Air con is hard to adjust the temp. The pictures of the room i saw before booking their is a bathtub but the real room not.

I was there just a few days. I stayed in family room. The lady who are supervisor in morning shift was very nice. She gave me early checked in to the room but when I came back to hotel in the evening time I didnot have key card because they gave me only one key card and I talked with guy staff He said He cannot give me the extra key card but moning shift staff said I can deposit money 300 THB for extra key and I told him what the staff said to me actually, we have 4 adult and 2 children. He still insisted on he cannot give me extra key card and he let another person to open the door for me. He was very rude to me!

MAYBE WE ARE THAI THAT WHY HE WAS NOT CARE ABOUT THE SERVICE!

Ehhh it's decent for the price of 39 a night

The sheets had holes, they don't have wash clothes. The blanket had stains on them had to ask them to be changed. They front desk woman was nice and spoke English well. If the sheets were cleaner it would've been a more comfortable experience. Also they are doing construction it looks like. At night it was quiet. Close to Siam, golden Buddha, MBK center.

I'll say this place is value for money. The rooms which we booked (Premier Connecting Rooms) were not too bad. We did however have problems logging onto the hotel WiFi. We got back late one night after a long day of shopping, but were too tired to go out to get a massage, the hotel arranged for an in-room massage.

Overall, the experience was ok - nothing much to complain about.

The hotel is not facing the main road, so is quite peace during night time.
Cleanliness of the room is poor, many ants walk around in the bathroom and many rubbish found under the bed. we ended up request to change room due to the cleanliness which we can't accept. Wifi is very poor, might not connectable every moment, have to keep on trying.
Convenient wise is normal, behind is Siam paragon and in front walk 5 mins is platinum fashion mall. Outside the hotel have 7-11 can purchase water. As complimentary water from hotel not able to drink, have weird taste.
But one thing I'm appreciate is their staff and the bell boy, is very helpful when we have issues on the room and when we ask the direction to others place. Expecting more to improve as the hotel environment is good but services have to improve, I can't use the wifi at all. Room is same as the pictures shown. Not much tourist stay in the hotels, therefore we can check in early.

Room furnishings and fixtures have see better days. Location is great as it is about 5 minutes walk from all the major Bangkok malls and shopping centres. Plenty of restaurants and street foods at a 2 minute walking distance. Tired and repeating breakfast menu. Non existent lobby. Nothing great but will only recommend for its convenient location.

We stayed here 4 nights from January 30 2016. It’s an old hotel with dim corridors.
Good location for shopping in Bangkok. Staffs are all kind and professional. Quite good breakfast was served.
Changing rooms three times was no help to get rid of bad, bad smell. Another room for my sister-in-law's family was all stinky, too. Residence Rajtaevee would be a good hotel when whole building is renovated especially on air conditioning and lighting system.

We stayed at a family room, so I am not sure about the other standard rooms. But we were very disappointed with the condition of the rooms. The furniture was old,and not well maintained. The hot plates /stove weren't working. The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to Paragon Siam and Central Siam. The staff members were friendly.

Cozy hotel in the heart of Bangkok

This hotel is a gem in Pratunam area. It is located in the busy shopping heaven of Pratunam but the surrounding is very quiet compare with other hotel because it is not facing main street. Room is very cozy and the hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. By the way, is my second stay already.

Overall is pleasant stay. Staffs are attentive and the hotel room is clean. The hotel is near to all major transportation nodes as well as major malls.

The hotels spa and swimming pool were out of order and they have a sign that says due to maintenance - I think it's been out of order some time - dissapointing with the hotel in general though it is close to the Siam Mall and the general manager and staff persuaded me to stay - they, the staff were very understanding and the general manager a total gentleman - for the price I paid you can get a better equipped hotel here in Bangkok - I spent 4 nights here - I would stay one night here in the future not 4 - the hotel may be updating itself ...

Awesome place to stay for couples and even family. 10-15 minutes walk to Platinum Fashion Mall and Siam BTS station. Situated in a small street opposite Bangkok Business College. Hotel service is very good, everyone was polite, the breakfast is really affordable, and with the price, its a definite steal. Room was very clean and smells really fresh, many amenities were provided, and even complimentary bottles of water are given every time you request for house keeping. Friendly staff, quiet and clean place with very nice designs. Definitely recommend for the shoppers/couples/families.
