Excellent service! Metz Pratunam Hotel has always been my go-to place whenever I am travelling to Bangkok because of the strategic location for a tourist to commute and shop.

The staff was really helpful and friendly during our check-in and check-out session. In fact, one of the male staff speaks really good English so language isn't even a barrier for us whenever we are there.

Would strongly recommend to stay here if you have travelling to Bangkok!

Location ok...walking distance to pratunam morning market (within 3 mins) but to platinum fashion mall need 10mins..
Hotel within 2 mins hv foot massage & 7-11.

C/in day aircond not function well after report next day send staff for checking and service..prompt action
Hotel breakfast simple and every day was same
But coffee was nice..if you just look for a cup of coffee with bread then is ok..otherwise suggest book for room only.

Overall is a ok hotel. Room is fine, basic and clean!. The only problem is the pillow is too soft and flat. Their aircond in certain room is facing the bed which caused unable to have a good sleep.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel within 4 months. A great disappointment to know upon arrival that hotel has changed their breakfast menu, removing Sunnyside up eggs, sausages, salad and daily main dish effective Sept 2018. Not knowing about the change, my booking was purchased with breakfast inclusive and it was cumbersome to go through the cancelation and refund through Expedia, however hotel gave us cash refund out of their own pocket first which was extremely very nice of them. Overall, the room was still as clean as my previous stay. Bed is very soft and comfy. Beware that the lane leading from the main road to the hotel is rather congested so be prepared to look out for 2 way vehicles when you are walking. Nearby there are many massage parlours for selection and Pratunum Shopping Mall, City Complex & many others. With the quality, location and value added rate that one is paying, I will still select this hotel for my next trip.

Dishonest hotel: DO NOT BOOK WITH CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. Paid around 700 baht extra for 5 days for their “continental” breakfast but was instead forced to be refunded 150 baht for my 5 night’s stay because of “breakfast menu change”. There’s no other option besides signing their refund form. I looked at the staff and she looked at me, and I couldn’t check in until i signed. Apparently the option is still available on Expedia. After calculation, it seems we were paying 110 baht a day for toast and jam. You can easily head outside to get 40 baht noodles with hot soup.

WiFi: We were lucky we were on unlimited data. The WiFi was super slow, and sometimes unable to connect to it. Better off using our data.

Lousy rooms: Bed was noisy, when you move around the bed, it squeaks. TV box was taped to the wall and kept popping out because the tape was not sticking anymore. Toilet and shower were clean.

Lobby: Exiting your room going down to the lobby, you’d smell a strong stench coming from the level 1 toilet. This is especially strong at night. Lights are off in the lobby at night, probably to make you head straight to your rooms.

Good location: Just outside the hotel is a taxi service charging around 400 baht to the airport. It cost us around 600 baht from the airport. Able to take it to places like Chatuchak Weekend Market as well.
Walking distance (10-15 minutes) to Platinum Fashion Mall, Pantip Plaza, Pratunam Market, Palladium Mall/ Night Market,

1) Location
- 20mins walk to BTS, APL, Central World and Big C.
- 10mins walk to Pratunam Market, Platinum Mall.
- Fabulous choice of massage parlors.

2) Room
- Small but cosy.
- Good that the toilet, basin and shower area is separated.
- Limited TV channels with bad reception.
- Aircon not very strong.

3) Limited breakfast buffet spread but adequate.

A nicely located hotel

The staff were nice and they even let us check in early. They cleaned our rooms daily and the location of the hotel is good. Close to many night markets and Platinum Mall. Breakfast was ok. Gets boring after awhile because they serve almost the same dishes. TV had only one channel with no English subs but really, it is still ultimately a very comfortable hotel.

Compact hotel in main shopping area

We had mixed feelings at the time of booking the hotel but chose it on the basis of reviews.When we reached, we were pleasantly surprised.Although it is quite small,it was compensated by other benefits such as english knowledge of the staff,cleanliness and courtesy. Breakfast was same on both the days . Nothing grand but not bad either.Indian travellers would find it a bit difficult because of lack of vegetarian dishes.The main pratunam shopping market is within 5 minutes walk and so is a KFC and MCDonalds.The rooms could have been bigger but they have done the best with the space available.The staff at the reception particularly Raju and Khon were helpful and spoke english quite well.Would have rated much higher but for the room sizes and breakfast spread.

Overall stay is great but far from main street.

Nice stay, friendly staff. Near the night markets and food streets. Just a tip: Do not take taxi when going to floating market as they will just send you to a far away location that has costly rent of boats, we were being offered of a boat that cost 2000 - 3000 baht per person so we refused to rent it plus we were charged via meter of the taxi for a whooping 1800 baht. Talking about taking advantage of the tourist. It is better to get a tour from your hotel and deal with the early morning schedule rather than taking it by yourself and ended with this kind of rubbish scam. Another thing is, the Siam Paragon is just almost at the back of the Platinum Mall so you can just walk from that Mall going to that place.

The staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, breakfast was simple but fresh, and they were nice enough to give us another complimentary drink the afternoon before we left! Overall a good experience. Getting to the hotel can be a little difficult, needed to walk through some dingy lanes but otherwise it was a good location, just a short walk to platinum mall.

Perfect location, clean, comfortable

The hotel was right by some publilc transportation, a 7-11, a ton of food, and of course Pratunam Market. I took maybe 2-3 cabs during my week long stay because everything was so close. Not to mention, the BTS is like a 10 minute walk away. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and the staff was great. I highly recommend it.

I can not fault the Metz Pratunam at all.

The staff were warm and friendly.
Eager to help.

The room was clean and tidy.
The bed was comfortable.
I was on the 3rd floor, the stairs were good to use and there was a lift too.

Breakfast was basic but tasty.

All in all well worth the price.
If I return to Bangkok, Metz Pratunam will be the first place I try to book a room in!

Bet my expectation!!

The hotel Metz Prutunum is strategically located where both traditional shopining areas (Prutunum and Platinum malls) and European style malls (Worldcenter) are within walking distance. The front desk are exceptionally helpful, always smiling and saying \"hello\" and also, and very importantly, very fluent in English!!! The room I stayed in was very clean so its being small did not bother me much. Amenities are limited but I enjoyed the free bottled waters. The TV was not alright; I guess no vacationer cares to sit in the room and watch TV anyways!!

Nice and cost hotel within Pratunam vicinity

Double thumbs up for Metz. I was in Metz 9-11 Jan and when i arrived home on 11 Jan, i realized that i have lost my wallet. My best guess was that i might have left it in the hotel room or if not, lost it in the streets of Bangkok. I made a called to Metz at about 3am in the morning and explained my situation to the reception over there. As the hotel manager was already off work, i was told to give them a call back in the morning about 9am and that he will also follow up on this issue. Feeling worried, i also wrote an email direct to the hotel manager, Mr.Vitiravudh

At about 8am in the morning, i received a call from the hotel informing me that indeed my wallet has been left in the hotel and that they will safeguard the wallet until i have made alternative arrangements to pick up the wallet from the hotel. Mr Vitiravudh, had been especially helpful following up closely with me via email and phone.

I am very thankful for the team of staff in Metz, not only for their honesty and hospitality, but also for the affordability and the close proximity to amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel should you want to stay in the Pratunam area in bangkok.

Double thumbs up and great job Metz!

P/s : Oh by the way, yes i have already retrieved my wallet from the hotel.. :)

10-15 minutes walk to platinum mall and Pratunam market. Room condition was great and comfortable to sleep! Although the room is quite small for me to place my luggage n nowhere to eat in the room. Head over to lobby to chill and have your food and drinks there. 2mins walk to 7 eleven. They change bed sheet n towel everyday. Service provided was great and English speaker.

Hotel is away from main road, so if coming in by taxi, driver might be confused. But, because away from main road, it is relatively quiet. It is also near a 24h convenience shop, so ideal if you run out of basic necessities in the middle of the night.

Small hotel but has everything necessary. I liked the design that it separates bathroom, toilet and washing area. Speeds up washing up time. Room is big for a boutique budget hotel for 2.

Service is prompt and homely. They offer fresh milk for morning coffee and tea and delivered it to our room daily. We even received dried bananas which I believed is homemade as it is not artificially sweetened, upon check out!

We having a pleasant time staying at the hotel. We arrived a bit late due to the flight delay and has been offer upgrade to the better room. Breakfast was OK and love this hotel because it is easy access to the city center. For those who loves shopping this would be a good place for you. Near to the platinum Fashion Mall, just walking distance to the pratunam market and near to the 7 elevens . Breakfast was pretty decent and near to night market as well. For Muslim travelers it is easier for you to get halal food as it is near few halal restaurants and stall...Will definitely come again and loves the attentiveness of the staff as well! Good Job!

Great place in the middle of exciting Pratunam

I stayed for two nights. They allowed me to check in three hours early, and I was so appreciative of that. I got a free upgrade because they were all out of standard rooms, too. The room was very clean and unique. Internet connection is strong. The hotel employees are extremely friendly and always smiling. Their central location in Pratunam and good, hot breakfast completes my 5-star rating!

Hotel location is good, 10 minutes walk to Platinum Fashion Mall, many massage parlours around(though not all of them are good), 7-Eleven is a stone throw away.
The hotel is very simple with all basic amenities that you need from a hotel stay. However, I find that the bed and pillows are not very comfortable, but with the price I paid, can't expect too much.
With all the shopping and massages available in Bangkok, I didn't even have the time to turn on the TV in the room! This hotel really serves the purpose to a real good shopping trip; spend all the time and money outside, come back for a good rest and continue again the next day.

i have booked 2 rooms without window. due to each level have only one, we lived in separate floors. Nice staff, i was lucky to have Korean neighbor . the walls are very thin and the alarm from room next to me can be heard.its not located in the main busy road ( calm place but a little dark for alone female traveler. clean place and a very big bed enough for a couple with a little kid

Nothing to criticize as the hotel is still new that's why everything is under good condition.
The hotel staffs are so friendly, the moment we reached they served us with welcome drink.
The location is accessible to many shopping malls, such as Plantinum mall, Central World, etc.
The room is simple and modern, the bed is comfy and the double bed is bigger than a normal king bed :)
The only thing is that the breakfast not much variety...

This is a reasonable price budget hotel with clean room and bathroom. Location is by bangkok shopping district if you just want to buy cheap mid range clothing. ATM, food and massages near by but about at least 20 minutes from bets. Could be far to walk under hot sun.
