Hotel is in center of a busy market & beside night market. Excellent location lots of food choose, Front desk staff girl Madam BEEM very helpful & friendly gave us earlier check-in & every time we go out asked her for the Ways to go she always helped. Even the evening staff also friendly helpful. Morning Door man also very good each time open the door for us. Room clean provide everyday coffee and water. Every day makeup the room. Strong rain shower air-conditioning ok. Got big window. Happy with the stay. Thanks 👍

Furnishings are pretty old. Walls not very soundproof can hear the noise from next door and running water pipes. Aircon was also not very cold at night, had little sweat at sleep every night but was chilly during daytime. The location is at prime spot cos it’s strategically situation at heart of Pratunam night market. Not many grab drivers would drop or pick u from the hotel, we met both types of grab drivers cos the street is quite narrow. I would return to this hotel if visiting BBK again.

The A/C did not cool but the reason for the low stars is because they are crooks. They charged us $20 US for an old sheet that had some tiger balm on a corner which could wash out with soap. DO NOT RECOMMEND they will try to nickel & dime you. You basically can sweat on those raggedy sheets.

No toothbrush or toothpaste. No slippers despite website stating there is. Air con wasn’t cold enough bedsheets were dirty. Wasn’t even a phone for me to call for reception. Wifi was poor. The water from the tap turned into rusty water a few time during bath. A very poor hotel and grab drivers didn’t want to come in as hotel was in alley had a difficult time getting grab.

Overall ok since the price is what u paid for. Make up room no vacuuming or mopping. Toilet only have their refillable shampoo and shower bottles, shower cap, a piece of soup and ear buds w 1 toilet toll. Nothing else. No slippers, toothbrush, shaver, comb. If u want a more comfy and luxury stay, this will not be ur choice but for budget stay yes its ok and 7-11 is just below ur tower 2 Tower 1 few steps away is the lobby for chk in and out. Step out of tower 2 along the way out, its all food and night / morning market shops. But a distance away from Platinum mall. If u are ok to walk, it is still consider a good cheap location. 😊

(1) There are many street hawkers and people outside the hotel both day and night.. Even the tuk tuk and grabs taxi cannot locate and have difficulty in driving through the small alleys (2) The hotel's tuk tuk did not send us to the shopping mall and BTS as was told. They send us out of the alley and still needs to walk quite a distance to the BTS or shopping mall.. (3) The airport link MRT is behind the hotel but you have to walk along the railway track, Imagine you have a hard time to carry hard luggage and drag it on the pebbles.

Location is okay. About 10-15 min walking distance to Platinum mall and BTS station. However, our room light and aircon was weak. Had to adjust the aircon several times and it was still weak. 1 or 2 of the lights kept off/on on its own. Wasn’t really bothered by that but it does affect our overall stay satisfaction. The toilet is also very small. The toilet bowl is literally behind the door. Otherwise, good location with good price.

Initially, I wanted to book another hotel near the same area but my hubby insisted to book Citin cause we had lovely memories when we were staying here 7 yrs ago when we came to Bangkok with my father in law, my in law love the friendly staff and the convenient of food along the street. This time we brought along my mother in law and we wanted her to experience the same as what my father in law had. We were disappointed, compare 7 yrs ago and now the hotel indeed was very run down. Despite having shower screen in the toilet, the shower water overflow and it makes the whole toilet messy and wet after a shower . The hot water was not working properly too. The bed was not comfortable. My daughter told me she found bugs after we check out . We booked 2 rooms and 1 room had aircon issue which it will blow hot air after it got too cold. In short, it was an unpleasant stay and all the good memories we had on this hotel was depleted.

The property is located at the great location. Lots of amenities are nearby. It was my great pleasure to stay there, but unfortunately, I was unable to spend my booking completely due to personal matter. And was greatly satisfied on what they have refunded back my remaining booking fees, although is non refundable, according to their website. I'll definitely recommend my friends to this property.

photos of rooms are misleading, basically you have to image the conditions of the rooms to be atleast older. Property is in a small alley where street hawkers lined the streets. Traffic through the alley is impossible in the evenings. Its a good area in terms of food choices and proximity to Baiyoke, platinum mall area. Very basic property and rooms looks run down.

I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights.
Room 1: one light was not working, safety lock spoiled, shower was cold
Room 2: Air-con dripping water and the floor get wet, draining in the shower was stucked.
Made a complaint the first night we arrived and problem was not solved the next day. So we made another compliant on the thrid day morning. Lucky us to meet a nice receptionist( I think her name is Soonglock...sorry if I spelled this wrongly). She reported this and all these problems were solved. Receptionist in the evening was bad. If you want a comfortable stay I won't recommend this hotel for you, it's old and need a lot of repairing work. We have met some other tourists in the lobby, they were complaining about the problems in their rooms as well. But the hotel is in a good location if you are keen in visiting the markets, platinum mall and central world

Bed and pillows were bad quality . Pillow too flat and bed springs too shaky so every slight movement from my husband I can feel the bed rock.

The only reason why we came back to stay so many times is the food right outside the hotel and proximity to shopping . The hotel used to be better

Cozy and comfortable room. Hotel is walking distance to shopping malls (Platinum Mall, CentralWorld, Big C). Plenty of halal food around the hotel but mostly North Indian/South Indian food. Hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk to BTS station. Efficient service from friendly staff. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Citin Pratunam.

Booked a ‘last minute’ trip to Bangkok for the New Year. Originally would have preferred to stay at Centrepoint Pratunum or Amari Watergate hotel but they were fully booked. Most hotels in the vicinity of Pratunum were either fully booked or too pricy for the holiday season. Chance upon Citin Pratunum Bangkok hotel and decided to try it. No regrets though. Service was pretty good. Room was big enough and was decent with all the usual amenities. Would have been better if the bathroom were a little more cleaner. The wifi doesn’t work that well however they managed to help me with the connections every time I asked for it.
Location was good with lots of clean massage parlours and decent enough food.
Overall, pleased with the stay. Would have got it for a much cheaper rate if not for the holiday season.

The service is not up to expectation especially on making up the room. No replenishment of toilet tissue, shower cream and hair shampoo throughout my stay for 6 nights. I have to purchase it on my own from the 7-11 convenient store opposite the hotel.
