Fair budget focused cost. To reach hotel from the airport is a nightmare with luggage - packed narrow lanes with people bikes tuks and cars. Not to mention poor road surfacing, uneven roads and walkways. Also need to wind around blocks to eventually get there.
The room itself is aged. Relatively clean although hairs were noticed in shower. Hot water knob fitting was loose. The bed was clean however not plush and can feel springs the instant to crawl into bed.
Plenty of market style food and shops around. 7eleven very close by.
Personally I wouldn’t stay here again just because of the difficulty reaching the hotel via public transport.

Comfortable, clean, affordable

Room was clean but building seemed old. Air conditioning was a bit noisy on the first night. Could hear traffic sometimes from the 5th floor. There are seats for eating in the evening which caused us to miss the entrance the first time. Location was great; right next to the night market. Overall, a comfortable and affordable stay in Bangkok.

Hotel lobby was decent, room was not clean with dust and hairs lying in the corners of the room and table tops. Toilet was smelling like sewage that permeates into the room. Bed and pillows were fine. But overall condition of the room was not ideal. 3.5/10

Hotel is in a fantastic location surrounded by places to eat and day and night markets. Easy to get to from the airport rail link. Everything in the hotel seems brand new and the staff are very helpful. Room was very clean and pretty quiet.

We stayed in lvl 2, there’s a huge smell in the toilet whenever we use it, we suspect it’s the drainage system smell. The room is very noisy as we can hear people walking pass loudly. When we check out and rest in the holding area, we requested for a mineral water and was rejected as they mentioned room have two mineral water. The only good point is it’s near the shopping area.

Nice room, same as expected from photos on app. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was clean and tidy. I slept well but my travel companions did say they could hear everything going on in the hallway all night.
It is on a tiny busy street which is mostly for pedestrians and food carts, probably not accessible by taxi but could get there by tuk tuk. I liked the location with nearby markets and many food options at the door. Easy walking distance to Central World and Chitlom station.
Breakfast was basic, instant coffee/tea, juice, franks, fried eggs, veges, noodles, fried rice, toast and cereal.
Reception staff were friendly and efficient. The AC in my companions room wasn't working and they quickly switched rooms for them.

This location is relatively near the train that heads to the airport but it is quite shady so need to be careful at night. It is right above pratunum which is awesome and there were no noise issues even though it is right above the night market. for the price, this hotel is highly recommended and I will surely go back.

Hotel is good and located in the middle of walkign street and near to Platinum shopping mall. The room is clean and comfy. The receptionist and security guard are friendly and helpful. But noted that there is no parking available at the hotel. Anyway, we will come back again next time.

Coincidentally bad experience first day no electricity for whole night in result the room no air-cond, lift services no available & we have to 10 floor twice. We stay 3 night breakfast very standard & no much choices.
The room overall not clean, eg. unclean floor, sence of smell at pillow etc.

The hotel location is very good for those who main focus is shopping at pratunam and platinum fashion mall.

Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel look quite new and clean, The thing that i am not happy with is the washroom drain was clogged for the entire 2 nights despite they have sent plumber to fix it.

I am light sleeper, there are some noise thru out the whole night which is quite disturbing too.

Pleasant stay despite being a budget hotel

My second time staying over at this hotel. Previous stay was about 5 months ago and nothing much has changed. Service was excellent and the room was good and clean for the price worth. The only issue that happen was bathroom floor chocked after a shower but this was quickly rectified by their staff. Overall a great place to stay.

Pros: Very very near the shopping scene, so it’s especially good for shopaholics who love to spend on cheap things
: plenty of massage stores around
: near to food stalls as well, so you’ll never be hungry
: hotel receptionist extremely friendly
: amazing aesthetic at the lobby

Cons: Unfortunately for us, the hot water was not working right from the start
: thin walls = hearing noises every now and then
: small area for the room but if you don’t mind the space and just need a place to crash aft shopping then this a good choice
: difficult for the grab drivers to drive in as it’s in a narrow alley

But honestly I wouldn’t mind coming again, just make sure no kids la haha if not they may complain saying it’s too much walking for them

Pleasant hotel that is situated in a narrow street with a lot of street food vendors. It was a bit hard to find the hotel, but the map provided by the hotel is quite useful in aiding us to the location. The breakfast buffet was quite underwhelming with similar and limited amounts of the various dishes available daily. Overall, it is a good experience!!

Good location but not Grab convenient

The location is good for those only want to go shopping at pratunam market/platinum mall. If your itinerary has the intention to travel to other areas, will not recommend this hotel because it is hard for the Grab drivers to locate the hotel and we had to walk out to baiyoke sky hotel for the drivers to pick us up. Taxi around the area charge a higher price and not to mention tuk tuk. The room is clean, good enough for a short stay but the sound proof is very bad, you can literally hear people walking outside the corridor or chairs stomping upstairs. Another thing that I do not like about the hotel is no slippers provided given the tile flooring, it gets cold in the morning. The hotel has very strict rules on smoking, durians and visitors to the hotel.

If you or your spouse is a shopperholic, this is the hotel for you. As the hotel is in the middle of the market, the location is great. But as it is in a small alley, taxis or \"GrabCar\" have trouble going to the hotel. So if you want to book a Grab, go to the out skirts of the market and locate a easily seen landmark like Starbucks or a bank.

Good hotel but the location is quite hidden

Disappointing with the night staff's attitude when we ask for another spare key. Hotel located in a small alley and very difficult for car to enter. Near to platinum, pratunam market and with a lot of street stalls. The alley is quiet after 11pm and it's quite scary when you walk alone back to hotel.

The condition of the hotel is quite good & clean and it is close to platinum mall, massage shops, convenient store and also the street market which selling variety of street foods and stuffs like clothes. Location is a bit deep and vehicles like taxi is not that convenient to pass through the market in order to reach at the door step of hotel. Overall I like the hotel and also recommend to stay here as Central World Mall is approachable by walking distance.

When first arrived, the hotel receptionist was kind enough to accept a single room deposit instead of two because we had booked 2 rooms. And he even gave us rooms side by side which although expected but nevertheless we're grateful for it.
Now the rooms. First impression of the room was small but spacious enough to put luggage at the leg area of the bed and items on both the table and above the bed. There was two minor things which was solved afterwards:
1) One of the rooms had hot shower constantly turn on and off which irritated my friend. Not sure if this was resolved but i believe its minor issue to us as we're not so fuzzy about it.
2) Air-con water leakage has resulted water on the table (my friend had some money notes left on the table) and made the notes damp. Not that it matters but it was resolved after that incident.

On one occasion, my friend had accidentally lock the safe and couldn't unlock it. The hotel staff came swiftly to verify our identify before unlocking which i find it professionally done.

Room comfort wise, it's not bad. 2 Soft pillows and thick blanket.

Overall i would stay in this hotel again in the future. really value for money and quality. Point to note would be to tell taxi driver to drop you off at baiyoke sky and then walk by foot to the hotel, because most taxi driver would not know your hotel name.

Street foods is available no matter how early or late. Probably the best spot to stay, so convenient to get around famous spot from hotel! But hawner's noise can be heard until 1-2am, poor sound proof system. Light sleepers should avoid this busy area or else request for high floor :)

From Suvarnabhumi Airport took ARL to Ratchaprarop station cost 40฿ (30 mins ride). About 15 mins walk to Petra Boutique Hotel...use Baiyoke Sky hotel as your reference.

A good 4 nights stay in this simple and nice hotel. Friendly staff and outside the hotel is bustling with street food. Walking distance to Pratunam market, Platinum Fashion Mall (10 mins), Central World (15 mins), Siam Paragon (20 mins) and MBK (25 mins). Tutuk ride to Chatuchak Weekend Market 100฿. Tutuk driver asked for 200฿ and we managed to bargain. Meter Taxi from Chatuchak back to Petra hotel 95฿ during peak hours. Some taxi drivers do not charge by meter even though they have the meter sign on the cab. Make sure to check before hopping in. Will certainly book Petra Boutique Hotel again. Convenient, Clean and Comfortable!

Shop till you drop

Perfect location for shopping. Was initially a challenge to locate late at night. Once you get your bearings it is ideal for the train line and shopping. A bit of a jaunt to tourist sites. I would stay there again. The staff is very halpful.we had no problem getting a taxi to pick us up at the hotel enroute to the airport. If you have backpacks there is a skytrain to the (BKK) airport. FYI There is a free shuttle bus between the BKK airport to DMK airports that runs regularly.

The hotel location is good except if you first time to hotel will find it difficult to find because it is in a small lane. Most cars and tuk tuk cannot find the place and refuse to go in becuse the lane is too small to enter. However it is good stay for short vacation and not intend to stay in hotel for long time. The cleaniness is good but don’t expect 5 stars service. Good enough for couple and family looking for budget hotel with good location.

this hotel has a best location for traveler who love shopping and street food.
but the only negative comment is about the bath room -- water ponding on the floor, need to walk very careful in the toilet. Another thing is hotel staff friendliness -- never greet and smile to guess at all.
