The night receptionist was a wonderful lady, I had an early arrival, she offered me a safe place to crash. The early receptionist was so unfriendly, I paid 1000 baht for an early check in not an issue. The room I was offered, was in the new building with tiny corridors and steps with mattresses on the wayside. Lift from one floor to the other old building. Very confusing, a fellow quest had to show me the way. I requested a room change as I was becoming anxious. Eventually got a room in the old building. I was harassed by the breakfast waitress, as soon as I served my breakfast, she accosted me at the middle of the floor for payment, I told her to let me place my food on the table as the money was in my waist bag. I started eating as the food was getting cold, she kept on harassing me for money, pacing up and down staring at me as if I was going to do a runner because of 199 baht i recorded everything.

The staff wasn't very helpful. I had asked them to write down locations in Thai and they refused, our room didn't get cleaned one of the three days there, and they tried to tell us to take a 400 baht taxi to the airport, after some online research we found out we could take a metered taxi for under 200 baht. The area it is located in is good for shopping and massages.

Awesome!

Room was awesome. Love the dark romantic feel to it. Clean and spacious. Towels changed everyday and with complimentary 1.5L bottle of water.
Hotel is near shopping markets and malls. It's really very convenient!
Staff were friendly. And i will definitely be staying First House again the next time I'm there!

The location too busy and everything is too wear out. My air cond leaking the entire stay i told the staff they just mentioned ok ok no action. When i called request for universal adapter the agent who answered my call were rude. Pull out the call log and listen if you need.

i have booked 4 rooms with big bed but at the end we were given only one room with bed. one of the room did not give slipper. with the price we paid should provide better amenities. The room bidet was so dirty and stick with hard stain. Rooms totally no sound proof, neighbours and ppl at coridoor can be hear clearly. i believe occupancy should be very good due to their location that is why the staff is too busy to smile. the best is only location for this hotel.

Clean & comfortable stay. Room is spacious with window facing the streets and building. We took the smoking room which is on the 1st level. Nice breakfast. The lobby is very small. Friendly check-in staff. Pratunam wholesale market mainly ladies fashion right beside the hotels. The roads leading to the hotel Soi 19 is really narrow and small, congested and chaotic with taxi,tuk tuk and street local foods directly in opposite the hotel. Convenient and within walking distance to Platinum mall, Big C, the new Bangkok market mall,Macdonald and starbucks. Last but not least if you are booking airport transfer please book 3hrs advance because this hotel location is very high traffic area. Highly recommended for ladies loves shopping.

The location is great for shopping . It is walking distance to Platinum Mall. The breakfast is great and there are varieties of dishes for you to taste. Although the breakfast area is small , the food is well arranged. The room is comfatable and clean. The only complain is the rooms are sound proof. You can hear people talking on the corridor along the rooms.There is a money changer beside the hotel and Its rate is quite high compared to other areas. Overall First House hotel is a nice place to stay

Staying there for 4 nights with family, so far everything was ok, only a bit not convenience with the hot water dispenser placing at the corridor and the lift was super slow and small, location is near to shopping area, night markets and 7/11 are nearby. Bad is can be very crowded during day time but overall it is excellent.

Location of hotel is excellent, convenient and easy access to anywhere. Interior had improved, including the rooms, after last renovation as compared to my last stay 5 years ago. The only complaint I have is the breakfast, just like before, not much variety, not very appetizing. And no wardrobe in my room. Hope there will be improvement before next visit to BKK.

Stayed in First house hotel for 3 nights after reading the great review about this hotel. First day of check in, I was told that the room I booked in does not have double bed, so they gave me a “free upgrade” to premier room, after that I checked my booking, I actually booked for premier room for 3 nights and the staff mistakenly allocated me to a cheaper category claiming that they have upgraded me for free. Of course, I needed to clarify this and they realised that they have done a mistake.

Me and my partner we were talking in the room halfway the phone speaker started making noise, no matter what we did the phone wouldn’t stop and it started playing some music which freaked both of us out. This happened on our very last night and we had flight early next morning so we slept with our lights on.

We changed room the second day because the first room given full of cigarette smell. And this room has got no view, the window is directly facing some garbage view. The staff working at taxi counter was extremely friendly and helpful, he guided us to where we needed to go and gave us tips on where to go. We had free shuttle to Chatuchak weekend market which was provided by gem gallery and not the hotel.

I found that the staffs are very arrogant and unfriendly and no customer service experience at all. On check out time we were told that the aircondition’s remote was missing and directed us to check again which we did and found thar the remote was actually placed on the table beside the tv. It was heavy rain that day we we asked if we could use an umbrella but was not umbrella is not available but they did not make any effort to help to keep us in comfort. This is not my first time visiting Thailand. As much as I love to come back but with like this type of customer bad service I received make me think many times about my stay especially when safety is concerned.
