I like that it’s convenient and the location is great! It has two 7-11 close by. It is also like 3-4 minute walk to the train station.

The staff are so nice and friendly. The front desk staff always greeted you, smiled, and made you always feel welcomed.

I wish there were more outlets cause I had to unplug the TV to be able to use the outlet.

Excellent breakfast of mostly supper items. Deĺicious.
Staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful.
Horrendous traffic noise, mostly from motorbikes but a short walk to a BTS station and a bus stop in front of the hotel. At least seven 7-11 shops within a 5 minute walk.

The room was overpriced for the quality of this hotel. The WiFi was incredibly slow and because it was a public WiFi network, the TV could not connect to it. Therefore, we were unable to use the TV at all.

Clean, friendly, close to MRT.

The staffs are very friendly and professional. I booked 3 rooms and all clean and good for stay. The hotel is aging and need to be remodel/upgrade to give hotel a newer feel. Only ten minutes from Ratchathewi MRT station, very convenient.

The check in process is fast, room is spacious and clean, air-con is powerful, with hair dryer. Breakfast like home cooked meals, very nice with fruits, salad, etc. Very convenient to walk to Siam area or Platinum Mall, journey abt 15mins.. save transport fare.

Room is ok and clean.
A bit noisy by cars traffic, but did not bother me.
Water pressure in shower fluctuate a lot and hot cold a bit inconsistent to adjustable.
Overall, fine to stay. Price was good.

Great experience at Samran Place Hotel

Nice hotel to stay in, walking distance, about 5min to Ratchathewi BTS station, very convenient, there are 7-11 store, laundry shop, local market nearby about 50m away from hotel. U can find cheap n good local food there too. Room is clean too with all the necessary facilities. Opposite hotel also have some local stall where u can grab some local food.

We had stayed at Samran Place Hotel many times before the pandemic. Staff were friendly. We were given a very big room with a king size bed & 2 single beds for a family of 3👍. The only thing need improvement was the breakfast which was very basic. Surrounding areas have many massage parlours & small eateries including for muslim tourists.
Will continue to stay at Samran Place Hotel in future.

Good location of hotel

The location is great. Easy to go around. Amenities like toothbrush and slippers should be provided. And since we stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, breakfast should somehow change since everyday breakfast served were all the same. Staff ate all pleasant. Appreciated that our room was upgraded since we came in early but asked for a minimum charge for us to check in early.

The one and only good thing about this hotel is the proximity of the location to the subway and airport line..if you are on a low budget,go for it..Otherwise don’t even bother as there are many better ones nearby. They don’t have even a safe in the rooms..I will say just this and you get the idea.

The Front Desk staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean for the most part. The shower curtain could've been cleaner. To get the toilet to flush, you had to hold down the handle several seconds, but once I got used to this, it was fine. I liked that 2 bottles of water were given to me every day. A good selection of food was offered at breakfast. The property is near a mosque, so if you're a light sleeper, you may be awakened by the calls to prayer at dawn over a loudspeaker system.

Upon checked in i booked room for 3 person in deluxe room. Receptionist ask to housekeeping going to room for set up an extra bed. I went up to room our extra bed not yet completely but they came after just 5 minutes knock the door but the wait you to opend it. He used the master key get in your room. At 14.05 They always talk to each other when they did an extra bed. The young lady use her foot put the bed sheet.
Only the staff when checked me in she is nice.
So, i will not recommend this hotel to our friend.

Did not have good experiences with this hotel

Location and buffet breakfast were good considered the price we paid. Other than that, services were poor, no warm water for shower in the room i stayed. There was one day the hotel staff has forgotten to close our room door after cleaning and left it open until we came back to our hotel. We complained but the receptionist just said sorry and will be careful next time.

This hotel was amazing, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I was given an upgrade to a superior room. The room was huge, with great size bathroom and hot shower. The location was great, near the link for the airport and the Ratchathewi metro stop. The wifi was great. Very close to MBK mall, which is great for shopping. Highly recommended.

Affordable clean hotel near shopping areas

This is the third time I use this hotel, it is clean, nice staff, quiet hotel with no noisy tourist groups. The rooms are clean but need to be renovated especially the bathrooms. Breakfast is good, simple but improved. The good thing about the hotel it lies midway between 2 main shopping areas: MBK area and Pratunam area. Also the hotel is near BTS about 150 meters away.

Nice hotel with bad manager

We had to leave the hotel 1 night earlier, but it was necessary to pay for it (that was ok - booked with Expedia). We made another booking for 1 night later 1 week after) and ask them to get the breakfast on arrival date (we paid for the breakfast we did not get with our last reservation). Receptionist was nice, but she had to call to manager and he said no. I expected better customer service and it is said we left the hotel with bad feeling because of arogant manager. We just asked to get the breakfast we bought on different day.... Manager is kind of tuk tuk drivers - not good. Other people from staff were nice and hotel as well.

The standar room was better than superior one

Reserved the superior room, which is bigger but wasnt the best, it smelled and the view was a wall. The 2 nd night reserved a standar room, which was much better and more economical. No smell here and had a street view, bit noisy but nothing too bad. Breakfast was a buffet, fried eggs, bacon, ham, noodles, soups, white and brown toast, butter, jam, coffee, milk, tea, fruit (pineapple, watermelon, cantaloup).
Metro station just around the corner, it is very convenient location, many street food, 7/11 and massage parlours outside the hotel.

Great staff, very knowledgeable who speak English. If you go left out the lobby doors, tons of places to eat and convinence store steps away. Only a 15 minute walk to Siam Paragon where you can buy a cheap travel SIM card plus plan for $13 CDN at AIS the biggest cellular company on 4G network. They are super close to the skytrain and morning complimentary breakfast was amazing! 6am to 10am, so lots of time for breakfast. WiFi was a bit glitchy but worked, 2 free bottled water, a fridge, hot water kettle plus hairdryer, shower caps, soap, q-tip and shampoo. I wished shower pressure was a bit better and hotter water. AC was strong and lots of TV channels. Great price, I would recommend those who are on a budget, or looking for a decent 3 star hotel.

Samran Place is a cheap, well located 2-Star hotel, with good access to shopping. It is a safe and clean place but do keep your expectations in check. There is no in-room phone so you will have no wake-up call service. The chamber maid will miss doing up your room if your schedule does not coincide with hers/his but other than that I would certainly recommend this hotel for truly budget conscience guests. Breakfast is compact but adequate. However the hotel does share its taxi service with the hotel next door and these drivers have a modus operandi that's similar. Once you're in the cab they will start to bug you to pay them a round figure of about Baht 400-500. When the actual meter figure is only about Baht 300.
However, as with most of my trips to Thailand, its the staff that make it so pleasant.
