It was good hotel. Near the train station surrounding with lots of restaurants, 7-11 shops, laundry shops, local coffee shops.

In general hotel was good, the only downside no windows otherwise all good.

Well to me it’s definitely a cozy hotel 5 years ago. But when I’m back I’d say they really did try to maintain the place and 5 years is a pretty Long time which causes facilities like my room air conditioning to break down on my last night of the stay , which of course made me feel frustrated, the reception did offer me a change of room but that was it with no compensation or remorse about the trouble it caused me . But overall I’ll say it’ll be nice if the management did something about it instead . Other than that issue other services were just minimal and not going through their “customers first” attitude which a hotel practice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again for the excellent price and convenient central location. The hotel is very modern and has a boutique feel but does not have an elevator. If you can't walk up two small flights of stairs then do not book here. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel for the savvy traveler.

We requested a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room (the smell was quite strong) so that wasn’t overly pleasant but the room was fairly clean and it was quiet. The pillows are INSANELY hard and very uncomfortable. Good location near a BTS station.

Convenient location as hotel is near BTS. Got the suite so it seemed like I got two rooms which was very comfy. A bit dark unless all lights on. No elevator so get room on a low floor. Staff are friendly and helpful. I wouldn't mind booking there again.

Worse experience in thailand hotel

Honestly, service was very poor.
We were greeted with a frown when we check in and that gave us a pretty bad impression.
Hotel staff was not friendly at all. We have to ask for adaptor everyday but always unavailable.
No adequate toiletries for guest.
Pool was pathetic.
Hotel is located further in from main road and not many locals aware therefore everytime we took a taxi or tuk tuk, we have to alight at Asia Hotel and walk about 5mins.
For the amount we pay, i can surely get somewhere so much better quality and location.
Will not be in any of my recommendation list

One minute away from Ratchathewi BTS

The hotel is very near BTS, walkable to Siam. There is a 7-11 opposite the hotel.
The check-in and check-out were fuss-free. Hotel allows luggage storage. Staff has initiative to help you carry your luggage around.
The hotel facilities are relatively new. The beds and toilet are clean. Towels are changed daily. Just that I didn’t like the shower head. The power plugs are two-pins; you can borrow travel adaptor from the hotel.
We found insects in the room during our first day but the rest of the days were good. The rooms are not really sound proof; we can hear people talking and walking along the corridor at night. The aircon also makes some noises at night.
For the price, the hotel is worth it!

Small and cosy hotel 5min away from BTS

Experience was great. Although the hotel and room is small, it was sufficient for 4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids). Location is great as it is near Siam Discovery/Paragon/Center. Also loved the fact that it was just 5min walk away from the nearest BTS station, Ratchathewi.

Stayed here for more than 5th times already. I like this hotel because of the staff and how convenient it is. But this trip, the check in was horrible. Requested for level 1 room and early check-in but was not given at all. as I mentioned in the request that I’ve an elderly with me she can’t climb the stairs (they do not have lift) only when we make noise on the 2nd day then they changed it for us. Receptionist area staffs was not very friendly and helpful. but the staffs at the pool / bar area was really great and their service was awesome.

Toilet door couldn’t close at all when we moved to level 1 room. Water flooding from the bathing area to the basin area each time we bathe.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The location is great and accessible to most big shopping malls. The room is clean and comfortable except the air conditioner is slightly noisy. Food offered at the breakfast buffet is good and many variety of food is available for the customers to choose. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful. So far a very nice stay there.

Reviews are far from reality.

Aircon is old and weak, need some servicing or replacing. Room need some minor upkeep, side tables will collapse anytime now. People though not rude but not friendly and seems not too motivated. Room cleaner miss 1 or 2 spots-did not replace bath mat, hair in lavatory that was there on our check in remained on the 2nd day. No elevator, need to use stairs for upper floors, not good after whole day of walking and sightseeing. Morning breakfast is a choice of 3 which never change in our 3 nights stay.
Location maybe near (5min walk) the bts station, but no escalator or lift on the station so we have to carry 3 luggage (total 50+kg) down when we arrive and up the stairs (3 stories high) when we left. Alternatively, you may get a taxi or uber to airport if you don't mind the higher cost; we tried, but the traffic in the area is terrible; had to bite the bullet and carry the 30kg luggage up the stairs !!!

Great location for short BKK trip

Great location, being ~3 min walk from Ratchathewi BTS Station. Also opposite a 7/11 so that's convenient for some quick purchase of anything you may require. Loved the cafe (Lazy Mary) located just right beside the hotel entrance. Also tried the sushi restaurant when I was there and it served great sashimi. Just had a little bit of problem locating it cos the sign wasn't as prominent as other hotels (take the exit for Asia hotel and keep walking into this alley and you'll see it within a min of walk). Cleanliness level was so-so and toiletries provided wasn't sufficient (no toothpaste & toothbrush) but for the price, it wasn't such a bad thing I guess? Another thing is. No windows except for the suites, so that might not be a good thing for some people. Decor was on point (they had vintage toys lining the stairways!), but speaking of which, there didn't seem to be any elevators and I had to climb to the 3rd floor to my room every day. On the bright side, staff was more than willing to assist with luggages tho.

Perfect to see the real Bangkok

Hotel was great. Good room, clean and spacious. Small pool but adequate. Breakfast was an American set menu which did the job. Best thing was the great location in Bangkok as you didn't feel stuck in a tourist area, lots of locals and local food options. Close to river boat and skytrain too.

Highly Recommended Hotel for Couples!!

Aside from the dark room, everything was perfect! friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and so close to many stuff! The Lazy mary cafe is just next door, the japanese food restaurant adjacent to it is also worth going to, a 7-11 just opposite the hotel, and a pharmacy that opens til late just across the 7-11. Did i mention it's just a short walking distance to the Ratchathewi BTS station?

The Dream Massage which is located within the hotel is also very reasonably priced and nice too. We had 3 massage sessions with them this trip!

great hotel close to amenities

really strategic hotel with cafe's around it, a 7-11 in front of it, and the Ratchathewi BTS just a short walking distance away.
this is my 2nd time staying here, and it won't be the last

the bathroom's shower section always floods though (due to bad plumbing i guess). have experienced this both times i was staying here, but everything else is so good i can forgive them lol

oh, and lighting's a bit dim too in the rooms, perfect for couples' romantic getaways

Great location in city center that near by Ratchathewi BTS. It is very lovely and cozy room. Bright road light along the way back to hotel. Great place to stay. Suitable for bag packer, family, and budget travelers.

Out site the hotel have 7-11 and Medical store. A delicious japan restaurant just in front of the Hotel. (Thumb Up). A happening bistro start on Saturday night if you look for a drink.

From Siam Swana Hotel to DMK air port just 45mins.

Do not mixed Siam Swana Hotel with Swana Bangkok Hotel. They are different hotels ^.^

Staff is nice and helpful. Some little insects in the room ( maybe because our room is on the ground floor?), but staff will help u to clear them immediately after request. But do not choose this if u are very very sensitive to noise near your hotel, so far I think it is acceptable for us.
The pool is very small so we didn't try it but seems very clean. Free bottle water everyday.
As we arrive Bangkok at 4am, it's so nice that they let us to do the free early check at 8am once we arrived the hotel.
Definitely will stay here again if come to Bangkok next time.

second stay in this hotel. Requested for room at 1st floor but was given room at ground floor instead. :(
It was close to hotel kitchen and table near to the swimming pool. Nay for light sleeper as it was noisy and cockroach found in the bathroom. No room slipper provided. Room was dim than usual as one of the lights broken.

So so for good location hotel.

The reception was not too friendly. There is a girl while i checked out quiet friendly. The guy which shift night to noon was friendly to talk and great response.
I love the location near with bts station.
But the room was not sound proof, i can hear guests talking in the midnite time. Also western people drunk and sing loudly at 1 am!!!
The tv channel was poor also, only HBO channel the only english channel.

Overall it's a good stay!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite as we have a group of 5 pax.
Overall cleanliness is ok. The rooms are big. Only problem is there is no lift and the wifi is not working well.
But overall we like the comfort in the hotel. =)

The location of the hotel was accessible. It was near one of the bts station (a very short walking distance). There is no lift in the hotel, so prepare to do more climbing of stairs if you are located at higher level (dont worry the highest level is 3rd storey)
