The staff was very friendly and helpful as we arrived late and had to check in after hours. Unfortunately, the room just wasn’t that good. Standing water in the shower and the doors leaked water badly, all over the bathroom floor. The mattress was awful. No support at all; caved in the middle. There was some kind of greasy crap on the top of the bedside table. Thankfully I had some sanitizer with me to clean it. The breakfast was simple but good and plenty to eat.

There were very hard old chairs in the room and I couldn't sit for more than 30 mins to watch TV – am elderly and need a soft seat!!! Restaurant was great! Room ws clean and otherwise comfortable.

The lighting was too strong and there was no way to watch the TV in a softer light!!!

Easy after hours check in, fresh fruit avaliable, all cutlery and crockery in room and a microwave which was great.
Tv was not real easy to navigate, ended up logging into personal Netflix acount to be able to,watch anything.
Would recommend taking your own pillow though, bed was comfy enough but pillow was like a brick, i ended up using a cushion to sleep on.

Really nice rooms, bed was great, unfortunately the restaurant was in the middle of a renovation, would have been good to know this before booking.
The only other issue was the traffic on the road, it was a real struggle to leave and head into town from the motel, the traffic was horrendous.

The staff very friendly...good proximity to the town...if there was one negative it would be the breakfast...we have stayed a few times however breakfast was very poorly presented...before it was very well presented...today there was hardly any choice of cereals..loaves of bread were left on the table for everyone to put there hands into..very unhygienic...no milk in jugs..I I would give it 1 star for breakfast..4 stars for everything else

Definitely in need of a refurb - facilities, rooms and general building extremely tired and old. Rooms smelt like sewer, bed & pillows very uncomfortable, towels in need of replacement. Not a 4 star by any stretch.

Despite the above it was comfortable enough for a single night stay.

I stayed at the property during recent Easter break, we booked quite late and were looking for a cheaper place to stay so our expectations weren’t very high.
The pre check-in experience was somewhat less convenient, I received a message seeking confirmation at 10:30am on the day when we were supposed to check-in at 2PM.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a happy gentleman at the reception who informed us that there’d no breakfast service which was sold as part of the stay at hotel on account of it being Easter holiday, I don’t mind the lack breakfast service but there has to be a better reason that the 2nd biggest holiday season of the year.
Rooms and property have signs of aging everywhere but I am fine with that, we picked the cheaper options so it’d be expected.
Staying experience is very ordinary, bathroom enclosures have no doors so water splashes everywhere, a dry bathroom is one of the few things I ever ask of a hotel property.
Beds/mattresses were uncomfortable but aircon worked excellent.
We requested our room to be made while we were away during the day but came back to the same room despite leaving the request sign on the door,
Observations during my stay, it felt that majority of the time the hotel was left to run on auto pilot, except for solitary young person making guest appearances every now and then.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this property, overall a forgettable experience, I know I did not pay top dollars for the stay but I feel I was shortchanged.

Check in was fine but when opening the door to our room (room 124) it smelt of cigarette smoke. We reported it to reception and they offered to change our room but by then we had opened the window and turned on the air con. Apart from that the room was a good size and the bed was comfortable, shower was good. We would stay here again if in the area.

Very convenient hotel with pleasant, friendly staff. We stayed for 2 nights to attend a family function. Can recommend asking for a room facing the garden - it was so quiet considering we were on the main highway. Nice swimming pool in the pretty grounds. Basic breakfast was included in the tariff. We booked a king suite and were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were so big and comfortably furnished. However we were disappointed that the TV in the lounge area did not work on free to air channels as the arial point in the wall was broken. When I reported this to reception they knew of the problem but told me I could use it for logging in the pay channels - which we don’t use - and that I could watch free to air on the TV in the bedroom. We ended up bringing the TV from the bedroom out to the living room which fortunately came with a very very long arial cable which could go into the arial wall socket in another room. Not ideal. I would definitely check this before booking the suite again as I love to wind down at night watching TV in bed.

We had a 3 night stay. The room was a good size with a small balcony overlooking the gardens and pool.
The bed for me was a little uncomfortable. It was a king (I think) but a definite sag in the middle.Weather was not kind as it rained most of the time so can't comment on the pool which would have been nice to relax at days end.
Breakfast included was continental but sufficient. the usual cereals, fruit, breads etc.
A little out of city centre so meant we needed to drive into town rather than walk. Not a big deal.
Overall enjoyed the stay. Staff were pleasant, helpful.

Loose carpet runner in the hall, overall the building inside and out is looking very tired. Horrendous access due to the ridiculous amount of non stop traffic day and night. Poor signage for the BBQ and pool area. Car-park and grounds in a very poor condition. Overall the stay does not reflect the cost of the stay.

Arrived early and room understandably wasn’t ready however the young man at reception was able to give us our key which was great as we were headed to a concert in Pokolbin and wouldn’t return until late. That’s where the positive ends. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest as there was mould on the ceiling and someone’s used soap in the shower so potentially hadn’t been cleaned. It also looked like it hadn’t been restocked with whatever toiletries they provide. The sheets looked and felt like sheets that had been slept in with a gritty feeling in the bottom of the bed. Went to breakfast at 9:20 not realising they closed at 9:30 (most hotels serve until 10am) to be greeted with you’re a bit late you can have tea or coffee and there’s fruit (apples and oranges in a fruit bowl). All sign of other food had been removed 10 minutes before breakfast finished and while there was still guests eating. Went to check out so we could go and get breakfast and nobody was at the desk where other people were also waiting to check out. Not a positive experience and with nobody at reception I couldn’t voice my concerns.

Lounge was very dirty could not sit on it. Shower needed a tool to turn it on and off. (Could not turn it on by hand or off) because of the taps the shower was burning hot or cold could not get it right. Gave up and just didn’t shower.
Shower was also very slippery and dangerous like the cleaning soap was never washed down..
Taps on sink are poorly designed so your fingers get caught trying to turn it off or on..
Stains on the carpet was not nice..

The rooms are clean and roomy enough for overnight stay.
All rooms have a small balcony, and one side looks out over the grounds and pool. There is also a tennis court for use of guests. A small continental breakfast is provided in the dining room, but the choice was small, and many items ran out early. There was only one man on duty to man the reception and all other tasks and he did his best to restock the table. There is also a bar and restaurant to be opened next week.
