While rooms are just average, having the long swim lane pool, an excellent location on the beach with great restaurants nearby, this is a wonderful slice of heaven for those who want to chill and relax! One of our favorite parts of our Southeast Asia vacation!

THE POOL IS A JOKE

THE POOL IS NOT A REAL POOL IT'S MORE LIKE A 3 FOOT POUND FOR DECORATION PURPOSES NOT FOR SWIMMING. THE BEACH IS SMALL AND FULL OF TOURISTS. THE WATER IS FULL OF BROKEN CORLAS SO NOTHING TO SEE.
THE ROOMS AND BUNGALOWS ARE VERY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER. NOT MUCH PRIVACY EXPECT FOR THE BUNGALOWS FELY A BIT MORE PRIVATE.

6 star service & amazing relaxing resort

I am always sceptical about cheaper resorts as only usually opt fot 4-5 stars, however \"See Through\" pleasantly surprised me with incredible hospitality, clean rooms, devine beach bar & Natti who goes above and beyond for each & every guest. Nothing is too much trouble & he speaks perfect english. After reading many other bad reviews i was scared to stay here, however dropped in to check it out. So glad i did. we initially stayed 2 nights with our room opening out onto a beautiful long pool that runs all the way down to the beach where the Vagga beach bar is. you can lay in a hammock and sip on a coctail and take in the beachy vibes of this place. for those who want to truly relax & unwind but not break the bank, this is the place for you.
Food is simple but delicious & coctails are to die for. The receptionist is always ready to help & everyone is super friendly & you get a sence of relaxed vibes the minute you walk in. there is a 7/11 nearby and other resteraunts nearby, however the food is affordable at the beach bar within the resort and they offer amazing beachside dining as well.
One thing I Loved was the beach is CLEAN. no nearby drains, nice sand and beautiful swimming conditions. rooms are comfortable and clean.
Thanks Natti and team for your amazing service & we will be back soon. Its resorts like these that make me holiday often. Perfect for couples & families alike.
You can stay in bungalows or rooms. We booked rooms 101 and 102 and was extremely good value.

The most beautiful place to stay...A paradise!!

The place is just perfect. I stayed in a bungalow without TV and Internet..just what do you need for disconnect...but also they have internet in other room if you need it. The restorant is a plus... and all the stuff just beautiful people...incluid the dogs are around.
Just small but...the bed is was too hard..but like most place I did stay in Thailand...

Was nice but found better on Phangan

This place is located in a pretty good spot. Close to House People (one of my favourite restaurants) and Pura Vida cafe. It's right on Haad Yao beach and fairly close to a few different dive shops. I didn't love the mosquitoes but liked that there was a hammock to lay on ... but I got bit quite a bit by the mozzies. The bungalow itself served its purpose for me and was comfortable. Depending on what your needs are and the purpose of stay I would recommend this hotel or another. For me it served its purpose of being on the main road, still on Haad Yao (I had stayed in other hotels around the area and wanted to try somewhere new) and walking distance to Reefers dive resort. I probably wouldn't stay here again though. No wifi in the standard bungalows. Reception is closed in the early morning so with my diving I had to arrange things the night before and just leave things at reception - so they are flexible and helpful but not physically there til 8 and divers get an early start to the day!

Had a great stay in SeeThrough Boutique Resort. Stayed 3 nights in Koh Phangan, mainly chilled out on haad yao beah which has been one of our favourite beaches of our whole trip to thailand. Food was great on the beach, with exceptional service from the main waitress in particular, ended up chatting to her every night. Extremely friendly. Pool was great as we had a lower room walking out onto the pool.

8 Tage in dem \"Hotel\"

Wir entschieden uns für das Hotel, da die BIlder einen sehr ansprechen!
Leider ist es nicht der Fall als wir eincheckten sahen wir das Zimmer, überall Risse in den Wänden, im Bad war alles verostet, die gesamte Dusche fiel auseinander, Toilettenpapier lag auf dem Boden, das Bad war einfach nicht zumutbar (Hygienemangel).
Daraufhin bescherten wir uns beim Personal, die wollten das prüfen, ich bestand auf ein neues Zimmer, welches nicht so einfach war..
Der Strand ist überhaupt nicht zu nutzen, das Wasser geht bei 50 m bis knapp zur Kniescheibe und dann ist auch Schluss, da dort überall Steine sind.
Ich empfehle den Strand am Haat rin oder Maad beach.

Wer dort wohnt! sollte sich ein moped zulegen, da man \" in einem Tal wohnt\" Koh pangan besteht aus Straßen die Berg ab und auf gehen!

Nice hotel considering the price and it's right on the beach! A few shortcomings: air conditioning doesn't work well, had a cockroach in my bathroom the first night and saw some others around the hotel, you need transportation (a car or scooter) to get around or you will be limited to the beach and other hotel restaurants on the beach, which are limited as this is not really walker friendly. Restaurant a bit overpriced.

overpriced room but great beach and bar

We enjoyed our 4 days as the beach area was picturesque and the sun was shining. We paid extra for the bungalow but I believe the pool access rooms would be better. There was no daily services it was alternate days if you went and dropped off your key at reception. We didn't bother so collected fresh towels,water and toilet rolls then swept through the room ourselves as this was easier. The beach bar and restaurant was excellent. Service was fantastic. There were two or three dogs that were by the table at breakfast which was off putting. This was 25% over priced based on the other hotels we have visited on our 30 day travels.

Romantic on a budget

We absolutely loved this hotel. We couldn't tell from the Expedia page whether or not you have access to the pool if you stay in a cabana (turns out you do), so we got a pool-access room. Our balcony opened right to the pool, and it felt like we had our own little slice of it. The only downside to having the pool right next to your room is that the noise carries when there are kids splashing around, and you have to make sure your curtains are closed when you want privacy. Otherwise, it felt very deluxe!

Even better, the hotel restaurant is right on the beach, so we had beautiful sunset views over dinner. The food wasn't amazing, but it's a decent option if you want to stay close.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Definitely recommend this hotel for couples on a budget!

Lovely hotel with amazing staff

Lovely place to stay for a few quiet days, comfort could be a bit better (bed a bit hard and quite hard pillows) but what it lacks in room comfort is more than made up for by the staff , the good and the scenery.

This was our second visit and would definitely go back again , it's so relaxing and chilled out and has an idyllic medium sized private beach that is shared by 4 other hotels

Do not stay here!

Hotel advertises working air conditioner but upon check in and waiting in the room for 30 minutes to see if room would cool down it didn't. AC is a must for travelers going to Thailand. We were forced to check out of hotel and find another one with working AC and we're told we could not get a refund for our booking which was very upsetting! We want our money back for the hotel we were falsely misled into thinking had working air conditioning!

Decent but...

Nice reasonably priced hotel in Had Yao. Breakfast was below average but free. No wifi in our bungalow across the road from the main building. The upgrade to a room with wifi was around a 33% increase in cost so not really worth it.

Wonderful getaway in a Perfect Resort!

This place is an absolute gem! Situated on Haad Yao which is a heavenly little beach. Perfect for a romantic getaway or for famillies. If you are looking for nightlife though this isn't the area.

The resort despite being much older than we thought still looks modern and new and the bungalows are very comfortable with all you need including big bathrooms, Mini-Fridge and TV.
The resort is situated right on the beach along with the restaurant (and other restaurants from neighbouring bungalows) so you have a beach view for all meals. We got the Breakfast Buffet included and it was worth it.
If you don't fancy swimming in the shallow Ocean there is a really long Pool which is great for a refreshing dip.
Staff are amazing and super friendly especially \"Or\" the Manager who mainly works at Reception.
There isn't much around the area so it's prefect for relaxing but if you want to explore the Island you can easily hire Motorbikes from reception.
All round an amazing stay and we will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: Book a Bungalow close to the restaurant or a hotel room with a Pool Access.

Hotel in really bad condition!

The pool and location is great but the rooms are in a really bad condition. Dirty with a bad smell. They \"clean\" the rooms every second day if you leave the key at the reception. Not much of a clean though... They changed the towels and made the bed. The floor and bathroom was still dirty after and we had to ask for toiletpaper every day. The staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant staff were also nice but very slow and didn't manage to get our breakfastorder right once on the whole week that we stayed there. Maybe they should have breakfast buffé instead...

See through Boutique-Clean, Friendly, Chilled...

This was a good middle of the range, friendly hotel. I would definately stay here again. It was clean, with friendly and attentive staff and a nice relaxed, chilled vibe. Haad Yao is a great alternative place to stay if going to full moon party. I would also check out the Moon set party at Pirate Bar (Bar shaped liked a ship) at Haad Chaophao beach (one down from Haad Yao). It usually happens , 2 days before or after the FMP. It usually has a free BBQ, free entry and trance all night-a fun night out.

August was a good time to go to Koh Phangan-lots of like minded, cruisy people.

Im glad I made the choice to go to Haad Yao and See through Boutique.

Lovely stay but probably not worth the money

Stayed for 1 night becuse we got a good deal on orbitz. It was quiet season and the hotel staff were kind enough to upgrade us to a room with direct pool access from the verandah - nice novelty for us. Direct beach access too, and Haad Yao is beautiful with plenty of chilled-out but buzzing bars and restaurants around. Depends what you're looking for, but if you don't need the pool and the TV in the room, there are much cheaper options on the beach for a fraction of the price. We moved to Ibiza, beach bungalows next door and were delighted with the no-frills, basic, simplistic charm of the place.

Le négatif : le chambre a besoin d un bon rafraîchissement, quasiment rien pour faire secher les serviettes, pas d eau chaude au lavabo pour se raser. Petit déjeuner moyen. Pour résumer : hotel correct mais a ce prix , classement non justifié

Das Hotel war gut, leider kam der Zimmerservice nur alle 2. Tage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Pool Zugang und hatten auch keine liegeauflagen, das war bisschen schade. Das Essen in dem Yagga Beach Club war der absolute hammer, der Strand sauber und sehr schön. In der Umgebung könnte man gut Frühstücken und einkaufen (7-ELEVEN ).

Il resort è decisamente al di sotto delle aspettative visto il costo piuttosto elevato rispetto ad altre strutture dell'isola. Già dalla reception si percepisce il livello dell'hotel che sembra in via di ristrutturazione (è lasciato grezzo senza neppure essere verniciato). Camera ai minimi standard come anche il misero bagno. Il personale non parla inglese e si hanno quindi problemi al ristorante. I lettini in plastica sulla spiaggia (pochi) sono scomodissimi e si hanno problemi alla schiena a stare sdraiati. Il resort e il ristorante sono in una bella baia con un bel mare e nelle immediate vicinanze si trovano altri ristoranti sempre sulla spiaggia. Il prezzo è comunque troppo elevato per quanto offre la struttura

Super hôtel !

Idéalement placé avec surement le restaurant le plus charmant de la plage de Haad Yao (tables à même la plage, hamacs, bar avec balançoires : le paradis) !
Un personnel aux petits soins et très accueillant et des chambres charmantes
Et enfin une piscine aussi très sympathique (et très très longue) qui donne tout son charme à l’hotel (préférer une chambre avec accès direct à la piscine pour avoir des transates perso)

Mysigt ställe och vi hade direkt anslutning till poolen. Ingen pool att ligga och sola vid men bra för motionssim. Tyvärr va det lite mycket musik på stranden från olika ställen samtidigt vilket inte va så avkopplande. Men vi gick alltid och på oss på ena änden av stranden där det va tyst.

Сначала жили в бюджетном бунгало через дорогу (дешево, завтрак включен, тесно для 3х, но все основное есть), потом сменили на улучшенное (спасибо за помощь барышне на ресепшн) - там был уже холодильник, номер попросторнее, отличный гамачок на веранде. Дружелюбный персонал. Длинный бассейн, зеленая аллея от бунгало к морю. Завтрак: яишница с беконом, тост+джем, кофе, сок. Можно заказать отдельно: рекомендую панкейк с фруктами. Бюджетно поесть можно на выходе по дороге направо. Дорого и вкусно: в отеле либо ресторан в левой части пляжа. Заход в воду мелкий, с кораллами, но не сильно мешают. Контингент - в основном с детьми. Тихо, чисто. С вай-фай проблемы - нормально ловит только на ресепшн, либо в ресторане. В целом очень уютный, приятный отельчик.

Stämmer inte med beskrivningen

Vi bokade en superior bungalow (dyrare än standarrummet) som enligt beskrivningen skulle innehålla bla en extra komfortabel madrass, en minibar, lyxartiklar i badrummet osv. Vår bungalow var osmakligt inredd med hål i ena väggen som var täckt med silvertejp, en smutsig madrass där varenda fjädring gick att urskilja, ett tomt och läckande kylskåp samt budgettvål i eget ifyllda behållare. När vi frågade i receptionen fick vi bara svaret ”vi har ingen minibar”. Å andra sidan är närområdet väldigt fint och receptionisterna hjälpsamma då en behöver hjälp med resor eller taxi. Även restaurangen var bra men skulle nog boka ett hotell bredvid istället.

Schöne Anlage mit Potential

Die Anlage an sich ist super, alles in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Zimmer aber spärlich ausgestattet - man muss aus dem Koffer leben, da es sonst keine richtigen anderen Ablagemöglichkeiten gibt. Was fehlt sind grundsätzlich jegliche Infos. Außerdem kein Wasserkocher, keine TV-Fernbedienung (gibt sowieso nur 3 Fernsehprogramme, keine DW), nur 1 Nachttischlampe, Zimmerreinigung nur alle 2 Tage und nur auf Aufforderung. Sehr gute A/C. Das Zimmer mit Poolzugang hatte mir trotzdem gefallen. Der Strand und das Restaurant sind sehr schön, sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert und es könnte alles sehr schön sein... wäre da nicht das Personal. Danke, Bitte, Guten Tag, Auf Wiedersehen, Guten Appetit - nur Beispiele von Worten die nicht beherrscht werden. In scheinbar keiner Sprache. Englisch wird im Restaurant gar nicht gesprochen oder verstanden. Dazu auch noch recht unfreundlich. Schade. Alles in allem: schöne Anlage, Personal müsste man schulen.

Zimmer und Hotel waren okay, die Putzverkleidung scheint zum Nichtputzen zu verführen. Am meisten störte mich, dass der Pool schon länger nicht mehr ordentlich gereinigt wurde. Das Wasser war eher grün als durchsichtig und die Fliesen waren sehr dreckig. Ich verstehe, dass es bei der Größe diesen Pools aufwendig ist, aber es ist notwendig- gerade weil die Besonderheit des Hotels eben an diesem Pool liegt mit den PoolAccess Zimmern. Der Strand ist sehr toll, die Liegen unbequem, das Frühstück nicht empfehlenswert (am Besten ohne buchen!) und beginnt täglich erst um 8 Uhr, das heißt wir konnten unser letztes Frühstück nicht mal wahrnehmen, da wir um 8:30 Uhr am Pier sein mussten. Was uns sehr positiv aufgefallen ist, sind die sehr freundlichen und gut englischsprachigen Empfangsmitarbeiter! Toll!

Wir waren vor einer Woche dort und bitte nehmt nicht die billigste Kategorie die Bungalows stehen auf der anderen Straßenseite und sind wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Wir haben sofort ein Upgrade vor Ort vorgenommen und im Haupthotel ein Zimmer erhalten (45€ mehr für 3 Tage)
Das Hotel ist wie bereits beschrieben eher ein Beton Bunker, aber der Strand und das Hotelteam machen dies wett.
Der Strand ist wirklich einer, wenn nicht sogar der schönste auf koh phangan und abends am Hotel eigenen Restaurant kann man dort echt lecker essen und den Abend ausklingen lassen.
Wenn man jedoch mehr Party oder auch nur wegen der Full Moon Party nach phangan kommt ist es vielleicht nicht zu empfehlen denn bis Haad rin fährt man doch gut 45-60 Minuten mit dem Taxi

Väldigt familjär och hjälpsam stämning. Personalen jobbar verkligen för att skapa relation och få en att känna sig som hemma.
Fråga personalen om ärlig uthyrning av bra moped utan trassel. Med en moped kan du ta dig till många guldkorn på Koh Phangan.
Väldigt romantiska solnedgångar och helt ok mat.

Nydelig hotell, med fantastisk personale som alltid streber for å gjøre sitt beste for deg som gjest. Fine rom med direkte adgang til bassenget. Fin restaurant på stranden som serverer god mat. Ligger i et rolig område med mange gode restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet.

superschöne Anlage am tollen Haad Yao Beach

Sehr schöne Anlage am tollen und ruhigen Haad Yao Beach. Wir waren in einem der Bungalows, die alle eine eigene Hängematte haben. Sehr relaxed. Ideal wer ein paar Tage ausspannen will, fernab vom Trubel. Dennoch werden Taxis zur Fullmoonparty organisiert, d.h. wer sich amüsieren will, kann das natürlich jederzeit machen. Auch sonst kostet das Sammeltaxi 200Baht und man kann einen Ausflug zum Hafen machen oder egal wohin. Roller kann man auch jederzeit ausleihen.

Jederzeit wieder

Nach einem eher schlechten Start wurde unsere Buchung für ein Bungalow nicht gefunden und wir wurden übergangsweise in einem Zimmer einquartiert. Dieses war sehr groß, schön und sauber mit einer großen Terrasse mit Hängematte und grandiosen Ausblick. Am nächsten Tag zogen wir in unser Bungalow ein. Genauso sauber und gepflegt, mit Terrasse und Hängematte. Reinigung erfolgt nicht automatisch sondern auf Wunsch funktioniert aber reibungslos. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist absolut ausreichend und man frühstückt schon fast direkt am Strand mit einem herrlichen Ausblick. In der Anlage ist ein mind. 70m langer sehr sauberer Pool der hervorragend zum Längen schwimmen geeignet ist. Gleich ums Eck ist ein 7/11 um Kleinigkeiten einzukaufen. Um ein Moped auszuborgen einfach an der Rezeption fragen die kümmern sich darum. Das ganze Personal kann man getrost als liebenswürdig und sehr familiär bezeichnen. Die Chefin setzt sich am Abend schon mal zum tratschen an den Tisch um rechtzeitig wenn das essen serviert wird wieder zu gehen. Die Verabschiedung war mit Umarmungen und Wangenküssen die herzlichste die ich in einem Hotel je erfahren habe. Der Strandabschnitt Haad Yao ist wunderschön und sauber. Massagemöglichkeiten zu beiden Seiten, genügend Schatten und nur vereinzelte Strandverkäufer die einem aber wenn man nicht hinsieht sofort in ruhe lassen. Außerdem ist eine gute Tauchschule in ca 100m Entfernung die Kurse und Ausflüge anbietet.

Überteuert für das gebotene

Zimmer haben eine angenehme Größe und auch der staff ist nett. Das Konzept mit den unverputzten Wänden ist durchaus schick verleitet aber leider zu fehlender Reinigung. Das Bettlaken war leider schmutzig und wurde vom stuff auch nicht gewechselt. Insgesamt kein schlechtes Hotel aber definitiv keine Empfehlung mehr für den Preis den man dort aufruft. Der Preis ist meilenweit weg von dem was man dort geboten bekommt.
