We loved our two night stay at Rooms Kazbegi. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The vast main space off the lobby and eating areas have outstanding views of Mt. Kazbegi. As well as lovely and luxurious array of seating areas to enjoy that view, a drink, or read a book. The rooms feel just a dated but very comfortable. We had the forest view and really loved it. We rarely spend time in the hotel sitting areas, but this hotel was an exception with their indoor and outdoor areas both beautiful and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

The hotel view is so amazing but the service is a bit disappointed. We are group of 3 people so on the check in time my extra bed was not yet added , the reception informed me that the house keeper will add later but it took an hours and I have to remind the reception again. When the housekeeper later came to my room , she was bit rude to set up the extra bed with bad manner speaking the local language which I don’t understand but knew from the body language and facial expression . The 2 pool staffs also not welcome as well.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and had the basic amenities I needed for my stay. The bed was large and comfortable.

The views from the hotel are fantastic, with great facilities in the pool, sauna and gym. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff very friendly. The bedroom was spacious. Only criticism was that the bathroom was a little small, and the shower is not fully enclosed so it floods the room slightly.

Beautiful hotel with the best view. The check in was fast. The hotel has spa and dinning area. The breakfast is included and it’s amazing with many options. The hotel also has game room area with the billiard. The service can be hit or miss. Generally the staff is friendly but service can at times be slow because it gets busy during breakfast time. Overall we had a great stay and I would only recommend to stay at this hotel if you in the region.

AC did not work in the room (although there was a thermostat) however we opened the doors at night to allow cool air in (late May). This worked for us however during peak summer, not sure if that would have been sufficient. Also, room did not have a Tv which I found surprising for hotel of this caliber.

The most beautiful hotel setting which at the same time, attracts instagrammer types which IMHO ruin the entire concept of being with nature. Great breakfast and pool and staff. Unfortunately ruined by people taking Instagram pictures. THE MOUNTAIN and the holy church deserve more humility and less vanity. Still worth it though! Don’t understand why people go somewhere do beautiful and just glued to their cell phones.

The large windows and patio along the side of the hotel were ideal for beautiful views of Mt. Kazbegi and the town of stepantsminda. Had a great massage and facial at the spa. But the rooms were very dark. There is an on-site restaurant which was very convenient with a great breakfast but the food for other meals was horribly disappointing. Eat dinner elsewhere.

This hotel is overrated. I think it is maximally three stars. Rooms are too small, bathrooms even smaller. Shower in the bathroom is not closed one, so water is splashing all over the bathroom. There is no wardrobe or shelves where you can unpack your bags, so everything stays in the suitcases. Free coffee is very restricted to two coffee sachets per day per room. Staff are friendly, but a bit slow on the restaurant side. Swimming pool is indoor with two saunas, but there were few unruly families whose children were freely screaming and splashing out water and playing like swimming pool is their own. Staff did not react when we warned them that house rules should be followed. Breakfast is great and rich, with separate eggs station and choice of savoury and sweet delices, but limited to filter coffee only and 1 coffee only from the bar per person (second one would be charged). Gym is small with only few exercising machines and gets easily crowded. Overall hotel is overpriced.

The rooms are not very well maintained considering the price per night at this hotel, but it’s cleaned and equipped.

- husband got food poisoning - hotel offered ‘sparkling water’ by solution
- charged for an espresso at breakfast!
- gym radiator was on, absolutely roasting and difficult to use
- we were allowed a free upgrade but didn’t get this due to hotel being full but we cannot validate if this is fair or not
- I asked for an omelette with vegetables at breakfast but this came with cheese then they rushed out the new one which was severely underdone..given the food poisoning issue this was worrying

I was dreaming about the visit of this hotel. View is just incredible, probably even better than I Imagined, but I was very much surprised about the facility.... It is on the level of 3 stars.

I booked a room at this property after great reviews from my friends and amazing recommendations. My experience however was totally different and I found the staff very inhospitable, especially the security team. From the moment I arrived, the security and bell boys were downright rude. They were annoyed that I stopped the car in front of the hotel to unload my bags and were rushing me to go to the parking (maybe because of my skin colour, I don’t know). I was driving a rental car from Tbilisi to Kazbegi. I parked my car at the hotel, and provided my car plate number during check-in. However, there was a ‘function’ planned for the next day and all guests had to move their cars from the parking lot. Instead of calling me directly, since I had provided my car number, they called the police to get my car removed, who then called the rental owner, who then called me. And the staff extremely unhelpful to provide an alternate parking and I was told to park on a hillside next to the hotel, where most sedan couldn’t park. The next day, when I was checking out, they did not even allow me to get my car inside to load my bags and I had to drag my luggage for 100 meters to exit gate. I had specifically asked about parking when booking and if it was not available, due to some function for a higher order guest of the hotel, they should have at least informed the clueless second rated guests who are staying at the hotel about unavailability of parking, or at least provided an alternate.

Although the views and food were spectacular, the room was very small, bare-bones and out of date. There was no TV, in-room safe, shower door (water spillage issue), cushions for whicker chairs on the balcony, USB ports or closet. Also, the internet access was highly insecure. At this price, they should offer more.

Great Location, Great View, but...
No doubt its the best location and it offers a great view of the Kazbegi mountain, if the weather is nice. BUT, the rooms are very small, shower is tiny, and our over head shower head doesn't work, so we had to use the hand held shower, water pressure was very weak as well. There's no privacy on the room balcony, you can hear and see people from every direction. You can see the hotel was designed well, but the upkeep wasn't great. It looks tired. Despite that, the staffs are great and helpful. Oh, and the free bottle of wine as a GOLD member, that's 175ml, just saying.

This hotel had a very relaxed and comfortable feel to it, and the view from the room’s balcony were incredible. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the spa was excellent.

It was a pleasant one night stay. Ideally located with the best view of Mt Qazbegi. Rooms are small and so is the washroom. I do wish there was a shower door installed. I kept hitting my leg on the corners of the bed base.
The pool is fantastic! Breakfast was ok! We had dinner here and the food was quite good although with the dim lighting we couldn’t read the menu well or see our food clearly. The service was also good.

Nice hotel with a nice view. The massage was excellent. The windows are in pretty bad quality. Who ever decided ordering these windows for this hotel did a bad decision.
The gym in ok, you can exercise your core muscles , but the pull up bar bar doesn’t work well. The shower in sauna should be fixed. The pool water is super chlorinated.

I am very disappointed with this hotel. Despite paying for the stay more than double the amount of other hotels in georgia in tbilisi and telavi , the standard rooms were very poorly designed. No closet or shelf space for clothes at all and the bathroom floods with water when showering. Also there was a bad smell in the bathroom. The novelty of the place wears off quickly. This property has too much potential but is disappointing .

The place is just wonderfu!!!! 😍😍😍I've been there some years ago and going back to the place is another totally amazing experience once again. Also, the staffs were prompt and accommodating to book me in the same room I was checked in before. Since we were from up high the mountains, going there gave us a great time to relax and treat ourselves to some sauna, outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the Kazbek mountains and to sumptuous great food!
The tricky part is the shower and faucet, mixing the hot and cold water. At times despite i already set the hot and cold water, the water temperature would somehow either increase or decrease on its own. Despite that, what is more important is our experience while staying in the hotel.

The views are second to none! The hotel amenities are great, the staff is very helpful, you could spend an entire day just lounging and hanging around the hotel balcony and other facilities. It could use bigger menu and perhaps better ventilation in the rooms toilets, other than that it is a great stay and would definitely stay again!

The hotel is set in a beautiful location. The public areas and bedroom are furnished well in an alpine style. What really let this hotel down for me was that it was very busy with a lot of people - did not feel at all like an exclusive retreat. And worst of all was really poor service - the staff are mostly friendly but are poorly trained and managed. Feels very chaotic and frustrating.

The service on the terrace is pretty shocking. Breakfast could also be streamlined or be done in a better way to avoid the masses queuing which defeats the COVID distancing rules. Otherwise a nice location for max 2 days, not a ton to do in Kazbegi once you have done a hike an gone to Trinity church.

The location, view and facilities are great. However, the rooms are quite basic, small and have most importantly very thin walls. I had a really hard time sleeping since you can hear your room neighbors even if they just talk normally at night. They really cut corners during construction. I’d would not stay again at this otherwise nice hotel, because I had such a terrible night.
