A little old fashioned in decor and feel. Baffling layout to find the pool - no mention in room literature - as its the hotels with adjoining corridors, but seemingly separate.

A bit disappointed

Stayed here two years ago. Just feels like it has run down a bit. Had a problem with a waiter and spoke to manager about it. Not with complaining attitude but so he would know. I’d want to know if I was mgr. not much in the way of apology… maybe the waiter was the owner’s nephew? Just. Didn’t have an overall feel of service.

Nice, grand, old hotel in a great location. Rooms could definitely use a facelift (carpet, curtains and bathroom are all pretty dated and not in a quaint kind of way). Definitely caters to an older crowd. Good breakfast.

In need of customer service training

One of the breakfast staff was quite rude to me and embarrassed me in front of everyone. On morning 2, just the same as I did on morning 1, I went to get a croissant. Morning 2, she yelled at me and said not to do that and that I should have waited in line. I thought the line was only for people wanting meat and eggs cooked for their breakfast. The croissants were at the other end, easily accessible to anyone, so I was surprised when she scoulded me like that. I was mortified. She needs customer service training. On a brighter note, we had the most wonderful, friendly waitress at dinner both nights. Our room was comfortable, and the hotel's location is lovely.

Serene setting on the Lake

We had 3 lovely nights in a lake view room at Hotel Reutemann in Lindau in mid-July 2018. The hotel is located right on Lake Constance - it is a captivating setting with a close view of the boat harbour and dreamy lakeside terrace restaurant. The room was comfortable with all the facilities we seek, but the car parking was limited and we had to find a public car park after returning from a drive one evening. Lindau is a pretty town and is a great base to explore the other towns on Lake Constance. We had breakfast and dinner on the terrace each day - great atmosphere.

Lovely traditional hotel with lots of character

Hotel is lovely, a little confusing trying to find it from the hotel car park which is either €16 (underground) or €13 (overground) a night, we did return after 10pm one evening which means you can't use the car park and we had to park on the street which is free until 8am, if you can find a spot... Staff are friendly, breakfast and rooms are excellent. Being used to staying in modern hotels it felt a little more traditional but offers all modern conveniences. Hotel bar was a little confusing to find but got there in the end! Breakfast is great as you get to look out over the lake. Would stay again.

Wonderful city, bad choice for a hotel!

We absolutely loved the city of Lindau, but felt that we could have chosen a much better hotel for the price paid! However, I must say that our disappointment was about our accommodation, rather than the hotel itself. Our room was so small it was almost impossible to negotiate the space between two people. Perhaps we could've chosen a more expensive room, but being Canadians we expected to find a much better room for the amount of money we ended up paying!

Harbourside hotel in Lindau

Fantastic hotel right on the waterfront at Lindau, Lake Constance. Room beautifully appointed and hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and super-efficient. Wonderful front terrace offering drinks and food and a good restaurant for full meals.

Absolutely the best spot to stay in Lindau!

The view us spectacular. The room was lovely and luxurious. The food is amazing and the ataff made sure we were happy and cared for. There is a beautiful pool and lively indoor pool and spa area. We would stay here for days next time! Can't wait to come back!

Elegant hotel in right location

Stayed 2 nights early July. Enjoyed the atmosphere but found it incredible that there was no a/c in the room. Did not expect that from an hotel of this class. Realize, that we were there in an extreme heat wave, July 4-6. Even getting a fan for the room was initially a problem but front desk clerk Anna was brilliant and came to our rescue.

Great location in the heart of Lindau island. Lovely terrace area on the lakefront with characterful sparrows trying to steal crumbs. Only negative for us is that we happened to stay on a very hot still evening and our small economy room felt airless and uncomfortably hot. Would have benefited from a fan. Otherwise all very nice. Great breakfast buffet.

Peaceful lakeside hotel.

Pleasant hotel. However, we booked a street view room and were disappointed to find that apart from the restaurant there was no public room with a lake view. The pool and terrace area would have been nice, but, although it was late May it very cold wet and windy all weekend. We passed the bar a few times but it was always shut and in the dark. The hotel is in a great position, lovely helpful staff, good breakfast and nicely decorated throughout. If you enjoy the refined, quiet ambience of a hotel from a bygone era you will like this hotel.

Perfect for the Sparkasse Marathon

Went to Lindau to run the Sparkasse Half Marathon. Loved staying here. The race start is right out the door. The location is beautiful. Hotel staff very friendly and professional. On the day we left, we had to leave before breakfast to make it to the airport, so the receptionist offered to have the morning desk person bring some coffee to our room. This was a nice touch (the restaurant wasn't even open yet). Great food in the restaurant, everything was really perfect.

Sehr schöner Ort und die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig. Das Zimmer ist stilvoll eingerichtet, das Badezimmer im Verhältnis klein und veraltet. Ein Shuttle-Service vom P&R zum Hotel sollte in der momentanen Situation angeboten werden. Busverbindungen vom P&R nur alle 30min in der Nebensaison und dazu kommt viel Verspätung…

Dieses Hotel können wir nur weiterempfehlen, alles war wunderbar. Besonders herausstechend ist die Lage und das Frühstück ist hervorragend, sehr kulinarisch, alles frisch. Ein Besuch auf dem Leuchtturm ist ein Muss, viele wissenswerte Informationen und ein tolle, weite Aussicht sind garantiert;-) Es gibt viele Restaurants, Cafeterias und Eisdielen in der nähe. Die Schiffsanlegestelle ist auch direkt vor der Tür. Ein Spaziergang um die ganze Insel ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Die Lindauer Therme sind nur 15 Autominuten entfernt, diese zu Besuchen ist für jung und alt definitiv purer Spass oder Erholung.

Der Besuch im Hotel Reutemann-Seegarten war für uns eher enttäuschend. Das Zimmer mit kleinen Fenstern, wo man überhaupt nicht rausschauen konnte. Das Badezimmer war aber sehr schön. Frühstück war nichts aufregendes, aber ok. Durch die Corona Massnahmen sehr mühsam, weil man nicht selber vom Buffet sich bedienen durfte.

Super god beliggenhed med mulighed for udsigt

Hotellet ligge med en smuk udsigt til havneområdet og med smuk natur. Værelserne er beskedne men rene og pæne. Super gode pools område med både indendørs- og udendørs pool og dejlig område omkring med liggestole mv.
lidt simpel morgenmads buffe, ikke nok kolde drikke, men alt var veltilberedt. Hotellet ligger med mulighed for parkering, men små pladser.
Hotellet kan dog ikke finde ud af, hvis du har et speciel ønske, da de glemmer, hvad de har lovet.

Man merkt, dass sich das Hotel wirklich bemüht um seine Gäste. Es ist eine professionelle und geschäftige Stimmung. ich habe Hilfe bekommen, sehr unkompliziert, als ich nicht weiterwusste und danke dem Hotel sehr dafür. Frühstück ist schön. Lage traumhaft. Zimmer groß und alles nicht abgewohnt.

Top Lage direkt am Hafen. Sehr schönes Hotel mit Super Service und freundlichem Personal. Einziger Minuspunkt im Bett waren unter der Decke und dem Kissen Haare und ein benutztes Taschentuch. Von dem Abgesehen alles Super!

Schönes Hotel an der Uferpromenade

Aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Im Zimmer fehlt allerdings eine Klimaanlage. Wäre noetig gewesen und eigentlich bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel zu erwarten. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe.

La meilleure situation de Lindau chambre simple mais nous le savions car cet Hotel 5* propose des chambres Eco. On profite ainsi des services du petit dej du centre de remise en forme extra et des piscines dont une avec une vue extraordinaire sur le port de Lindau pour un prix raisonnable. Parking de l'hôtel très pratique à proximité guère plus cher que le parking public éloigne

Erholsamer Urlaub im Hotel Reutemann

Wir haben ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Lindau,im Hotel Reutemann verbracht und ein wunderschönes Zimmer im Seegarten mit Ausblick auf den Bodensee bewohnt..das Zimmer war groß..modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber..das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend..Parkplätze sind genügend,in der Nähe des Hotels vorhanden.das Frühstück reichlich und lässt kaum Wünsche übrig .man kann es draußen auf der See Terasse, mit Blick auf den See einnehmen .wenn man durch das Hotel auf der Rückseite heraustritt,ist man mitten im Geschehen von Lindau...Ein zauberhaftes Hotel für schöne Tage...
