Property is in an excellent location. The Altstadt is outside the back of the property and the shopping area is a block away. Parking is underground. The breakfast was great with everything you could want. The room we had overlooked the Altstadt area and was clean and quiet. If we return to Heppenheim this would our hotel of choice. Very highly recommend.

I stayed for one night here without breakfast as I was on my way to Frankfurt Airport Area. The room did not have fridge but could not get any ice from reception. The room was great. My problem was with the car park, it had steel plates in the driveway which has no meaning or value . These steel plates are irritating .They can also damage your car if it is low level car.

Hotel was fine. Stayed 3 nights over weekend. It was very busy, had to wait for table at breakfast which had good selection of food and drink. Room was quite big but so hot at night and then too noisy with windows open. A kettle in the room would be great or at least a bottle of water. Very noisy guests in corridor late at night. Did not like the red walls everywhere, not very conducive to good nights sleep in bedroom! I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area, usually smaller but with nicer ambience. Staff very nice, friendly and polite

Hotel was nice, Staff very friendly and accommodating, Breakfast was fantastic (buffet style, perfect). Downside to hotel was no cafe, food, other than for breakfast (which was fantastic). Local Italian place was super good, location was wonderful, locals were all friendly. We selected hotel online based on decent price and dog friendly, and we were happy overall with hotel and would stay there again. Just a shame guest cant have lunch or dinner at hotel. We were pleased that the hotel had smoking rooms available, which made our stay even better, plus they had a smoking area just outside on nice small patio. Good place to stay !!

Sixth visit

This was our sixth visit and the hotel didn't disappoint. We always enjoy visiting Heppenheim. It's beautiful and the people are friendly. Neighbouring towns such as Bensheim, Weinheim and Lampertheim are worth a visit, as is the Odenwald with gems such as Erbach and Michelstadt less than an hour away.

Very nice hotel, and very open to the Gay community. Everything is decorated in the Gay colors, so you can't miss it. Hotel service was nice. Trails for walking the dog is only a few minutes by foot. Internet service only available in the lobby area, and it cost about $20 per day. Did not eat there, so I can't rate the food. Very clean and well maintained hotel.

Good base for a visit to the Bergstrasse.

This was our fifth stay in this hotel and standards have been maintained. The hotel was undergoing painting work in the lobby but this was done very unobtrusively. We stayed 'room only' and took breakfast in a café in the old town. Our room overlooked the main street but was very quiet and had a superb view of the Starkenburg.
The staff are efficient and business-like.
Free Wi-fi is available in the lobby and downstairs corridor but the signal in the bedrooms was weak. One thing we missed was a room safe. This should be a feature of all Park Inn hotels.
The location of this hotel is excellent - right by the Altstadt. In fact, the rear door of the hotel leads into one of the old streets and the charming buildings.

convenient for our visit to Worms

We were in a large comfortable airy room which looked out to a steep terraced cultivated hill. This turned out to be vineyards and we were amazed that people never mind tractors etc. could work on the slopes. Staff were extremely helpful and in the evening directed us towards a nearby restaurant, but before reaching it we found ourselves in the middle of the annual wine festival (end June). Neither of us drink but there were plenty of food stalls and we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Heppenheim itself is a beautiful old town with a wonderful square. Breakfast had a small selection of hot food as well as a good selection of cold items. If you had the patience you could get fresh orange juice by squeezing the fruit yourself. There is plenty of underground parking, (to be paid for) with a lift to reception and all floors. Overall we were very satisfied and if in the area again would not hesitate in booking the Park Inn.

Hotel in der Altstadt Heppenheim

The hotel is very well situated on a busy road but this is quiet in the evenings. If you come by car, there is short stay 'unloading' parking at the front of the hotel off the street. The hotel has a garage but I did not use it.
An attractive aspect of this hotel is that there is a back entrance which gives access to Heppenheim's Altstadt, a series of narrow streets, half timbered houses and the beautiful Marktplatz. Across the road at the front are the premises of a wine producer, and behind this is the Starkenburg, the iconic hill which overlooks the town.
There are two lifts in the hotel and the front desk is well staffed. The people working there are friendly and efficient. Their communication skills are good - they seem to be multi-lingual. I have stayed there five times now and have never had cause to make a complaint!
One curious feature of the hotel is that we rarely heard or saw any other guests.it is very quiet and peaceful.
If I could make two recommendations, it would be that the choice of Tv programmes is not as wide as it could be in a multinational hotel. Apart from CNN and BBC World, all the channels seemed to be German. guests from other areas would be disappointed. Also,
Wi-fi was available only on the ground floor and for the private individual, it was relatively expensive. I had just come from a Mercure hotel in Colmar where it was free everywhere in the hotel. These days, everyone wants the Mercure system!

Park Inn Heppenheim

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was expecting the usual sterile business-type hotel, but whilst it is ostensibly a business hotel it has a nice feel about it. We used it as a stop-over point for our family holiday travelling from the UK to Lake Garda in Italy. We stayed on a Friday night in August and at that time it had more of a holiday feel about it. It's helped by it being conveniently located in the centre of Heppenheim, which is a charming little town. We wished we could have stayed on a bit longer there. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. It gave us a great start to our holiday and I can thoroughly recommend it.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. Our only criticism might be we had a little trouble finding it. The hotel offered excellent opportunities for sn evening stroll. Restaurants were near as well as historic buildinga. We met friendly town's folk that even invited us in to see ther garden.

Central location in a beautiful town

Heppenheim is a beautiful town located midway between /Frankfort and Heidelburg. The Park Inn a tourist hotel that is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They all speak very good English. The breakfast is wonderful.

Perfect hotel in a perfect location

Heppenheim is a very old german village with tons of charm. The hotel is just steps from everything. You can walk to the platz and lots of excellent dining options. Great breakfast included with an excellent price. The service was perfect and the room was large for the price. I will definitely go back!

Die lüftung im bad funktionierte nicht dementsprechend war die luft und die Feuchtigkeit führte zu wasser und schimmelflecken.
Vermutlich besteht das Problem schon länger aber es kümmert sich keiner darum und das Zimmer wird nur vergeben wenn sonst nichts mehr frei ist.

Hervorragend gelegenes Stadthotel

Das ACHAT-Hotel ist hervorragend gelegen für alle, die an den Festspielen teilnehmen oder einfach das einzigartige Flair rund um den Marktplatz abends genießen möchten.
Wir hatten in unserem Reservierungswunsch ausdrücklich angegeben, dass wir nicht in einem der Zimmer zur Bundesstraße hin wohnen wollten. So konnteen wir auch bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Eine Klimaanlage konnte zudem an dem ersten heißen Sommertag die Termperatur auf ein erträgliches Maß herunterkühlen. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Die anderen sind kleiner, doch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wäre auch dafür ordentlich gewesen. Praktisch auch die Tiefgarage direkt unter dem Hotel.

Basisindeling vd kamers komt niet overeen met t geboekte dwz groot 1 persoonsbed of 2 bedden aan elkaar. Wc was nog vies, super opgelost met een andere kamer zonder enig probleem. Gehorigheid erg hoog, kuchende benedenbuurman/ haardroger vd zijburen en luid pratende mensen op de gangen. Heerlijk er tussendoor geslapen in een bed met kuiltje. In de badkamer en op de gangen duidelijke rooklucht ondanks dat t hotel rookvrij is. Heeft iets weg van een iets duurder hostel. Ontbijt was geweldig, ontvangst uitermate prettig.

Ich habe durch regelmäßige Weiterbildungen wirklich ausreichend Hotel-Erfahrung - diese gehört leider zu den nicht so schönen…
Es handelt sich um ein sehr großes, liebloses Hotel (damit könnte ich für eine Nacht leben), aber schwarzer, massiver Schimmel im Bad geht gar nicht. Dieser war nicht nur sicht-, sondern auch riechbar, auch meine ich, darauf reagiert zu haben. Die Zimmer zur Hauptstraße hin (ein solches hatte ich) lassen an Schlaf nicht denken, es sei denn, man schläft mit geschlossenem Fenster, wozu ich gezwungen war.
Positiv war allein das Frühstück und die Qualität der Matratze, diese wirkte auch recht hochwertig.

Das Achat-Hotel befindet sich direkt am Rande der Heppenheimer Altstadt. Dadurch ist es ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Heppenheim, wie auch für die gesamte Bergstrasse und den westlichen Odenwald. Die Zimmer sind leider in die Jahre gekommen. Ansonsten macht das Hotel einen guten Eindruck und ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ideal. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig und gut.

Das Hotelzimmer war dreckig und auf den Bettlaken waren alte Blutflecken. Wird wohl nicht jeden Tag gereinigt. Obwohl man kann an der Rezeption morgens Bescheid sagen, dass das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll. Soll wohl Green sein!

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Stil aus den 90ern!

Wir werden nicht mehr in Zukunft ein Hotelzimmer für uns buchen.

Leider war das Hotel die 4 Sterne nicht wert. Die Betten waren durchgelegen, das Bad total alt. Mein Zimmer befand sich zudem über der Rezeption. Es war unglaublich laut, ich konnte nicht schlafen, da man jedes einzelne Wort gehört hat. Dazu kam ab 5Uhr morgens ein Eier-Geruch ins Zimmer. Keine Weiterempfehlung meinerseits.
