This was a really decent hotel for the money. It was really convenient beside the mall and the parking was easy. The lobby and hotel itself was clean. The only issue is we stayed five nights, two nights the rooms weren’t made and the third night we didn’t have towels. I’m not sure what the problem was. I would use this hotel again, but I would expect a better response when the room is not being made up.

By far the worst hotel in my vacation trip.

After 2 weeks on the road for vacation, sleeping in 7 different hotels, this was by far the worst experience! The hotel is completely dated. Check-in was slow, with a bunch of forms to fill and sign (even if the booking was already pre-paid).

The first room they gave AC was not working, after calling reception asking to change room we needed to wait 20min just to the attendant verify that the AC was for sure not working.

Furniture is old, no double beds, no power plugs near the bed, no welcoming amenities (like a free bottle of water, etc..)

Breakfast products were not fresh, the bread looked like from the day before.

This is NOT a 4-star hotel.

During the same trip, we stayed in cheap 2-start road hotels that were much more comfortable, welcoming (a lot gave FREE WATER BOTTLES), and new than the NH Viernheim.

For luck, it can be classified as a 2-star medium hotel.

Please, don't be deluded with the 4-star classification, you can look for other hotels with less classification in the same area with a better service.

The beds need to be replace. It was hard to sleep on them because my body made contact with spring mattress. When I complained about it they just gave a thicker mattress pad, but it was still uncomfortable. The pillows need to be replace as well, way too soft the provide no spine support for my neck. The water heater broke on one occasion, had to find out the hard way (on the morning while trying taking a shower). Electricity cut off on half the room. If I used the hair drier it would trip the circuit breaker for half the room. Positives amenities (Shopping mall, transportation within walking distance), and great buffet style breakfast.

Great stay and interior is awesome

Outside of hotel looks like it might be old, but the inside is all fresh and new. The staff speak multiple languages so they are able to help.
The Hotel is located 5 minutes from a train stop and 2 minutes from a large new mall and movie theater. There is an electronics store across the street as well.
The wifi is good and available through out the hotel and free.
Breakfast is a full service breakfast with everything a traveler could want.
The restaurant and bar are well priced and served very good food.

Traveling by motorcycle across a fair chunk of Europe is enjoyable, although tiring, so my wife and I were looking forward to our stay in our first German hotel. The whole experience was going well on arrival, nice hotel, pleasant receptionist, etc., only to be marred by the penny-pinching practice of charging €10 for early an checkin!! THE ROOM WAS READY! I did have the option of waiting an hour, but we wanted a shower to refresh ourselves, so I begrudgingly paid. What a shame. I think I might just let my 4,500 members of the BMW Motorcycle Club know, along with the number of serving and retired police officers of the U.K., through NARPO and finally, the Freemasons of the U.K. Three emails will do it.

Bed was a little on the hard side. Also the TV was confusing as it would only turn on if you hit the \"PAY TV\" button. As I wasn't sure if they were going to charge me to watch TV I just decided to not turn it on. Other than that no complaints. Was very close to a mall and several restaurants -- walking distance. Which was a bonus.

The hotel is near the Rhein-Neckar Zentrum (shopping mall). It is convenient to the Autobahn but somewhat difficult to get to on first try. It is business oriented but does have an active tour group business. On our first night the air conditioning did not work and the hotel was fully booked. The night clerk was apologetic and got us a fan. We inquired the next morning if the problem had been fixed and were told that the part had not come in. There was no offer to move us to a different room . I had to specifically ask and a change was made somewhat reluctantly. I suspect that this air conditioning problem for this particular room is of long standing and may never be fixed. Dinner at the restaurant is OK with very friendly and competent waiters, but overpriced, as is the breakfast bar at 16 euros per person. Greatest positives are proximity to Autobahn, Mannheim, and surrounding area.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The sound insulation was excellent. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We were visiting Weinheim and would have preferred to stay at a hotel there, but we could not find a suitable room. This hotel seems geared toward business people. It is located in a major shopping mall area. Since it is just off a highway, it was easy to get to Weinheim and other places. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Fab hotel good shopping centre

Went with a group and found the hotel very good. The staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem.The room was a good size with a mini bar and was clean and tidy. The breakfast was expensive at 16 euros but the shopping centre next door was fabulous with many, many beautiful shops and plenty places to eat. I would highly recommend it. Would stay again.

Generally pleasant. We appreciated the cleanliness and convenience of the room, except that there were no \"English\" teabags or MILK included in the selection offered. We should have been informed on the Saturday that if we appeared for breakfast at 9.30 Sunday morning, we would be chivvied into hurrying instead of enjoying a leisurely breakfast, because preparations needed to be made for a private event. For the same reason we discovered that we could not have lunch that day in the hotel restaurant.

very clean and friendly staff, the breakfast was amazing, but i thought it was included and wasnt so watch out for that one, but overall definitly a good choice. if you are visiting mannheim you really need a car to get to it its abit out of the way about a 10 minute drive on the highway so cant really walk to the city at all.

Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Leider ging am Abreisetag der Schlauch zum Duschkopf vom Wasserhahn ab und konnte nicht wieder aufgeschraubt werden. Somit dann nur mit \"Katzenwäsche\" auf den Nachhauseweg.
Da ich 2 Nächte geblieben bin, hatte ich aus Umweltschutzgründen die Möglichkeit auf eine tägliche Reinigung zu verzichten, was ich super fand und auch gerne so gewünscht habe.
Die Belohnung (1 Gutschein für ein kostenfreies Getränk) konnte ich aber nicht einlösen, da die Hotelbar zum Zeitpunkt, als ich den Gutschein im Empfang nehmen konnte geschlossen war und der Nachtportier mitteilte, dass ich den Gutschein nur an der Bar einlösen könne.

Das Rezeptionspersonal insgesamt ist superfreundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen und hat sich ob meiner \"Reklamation\" sichtlich geschämt und entschuldigt. Das Freigetränk wollte man mir gerne noch mitgeben und wenn eine solche Panne, wie mit dem Duschschlauch passiere, solle ich beim nächsten Mal Bescheid geben.

Man würde mir dann gerne ein anderes Zimmer geben. Leider ist dies am Morgen meines Abreisetages passiert. Was sollte ich da also noch mit einem anderen Zimmer?
Da ich losfahren musste, hätte mir das nicht mehr geholfen.

Das Hotel selbst macht einen in die Jahre gekommenden Eindruck, ist aber weit davon entfernt deshalb \"schäbig\" zu wirken, aber auch ein gutes Stückchen von meiner Erwartungshaltung weg, die ich an ein 4-Sterne Hotel der nh-Hotels Kette habe.

Immerhin war das Bett schön straff, ohne zu hart zu sein.

Hotel hat einen Fehler gemacht. So haben wir statt eines Dreibett-Zimmers eines mit zwei Betten bekommen. In ein Bett passte zwar ein Erwachsener mit Kind, jedoch bei einem unruhigen Schläferkind etwas eng.
Für eine Nacht ging es aber.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wände im Flur deutliche Spuren. Badezimmer viele Risse im Waschbecken und Toilettenspülung defekt.

Sauberkeit war einwandfrei.

Leider war die Getränkeauswahl in der Bar sehr eingeschränkt. Nachdem doch was auf der Karte zusagte, war es nicht mehr da.
Es gab keine Cocktails.
Barkeeperin war aber flexibel und hat einen Fruchtigen Cocktail gemischt obwohl er nicht auf der Karte stand.

Beim Frühstück fehlte für ein 4 Sterne Haus die Auswahl. Es fehlte Fisch und Wurstauswahl.
Was da war, war gut.

Der Service war durchgehend vom Check-In über Bar, Frühstück und Check-Out sehr freundlich.

Fazit: Für eine Nacht gut. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt hätte ich die oberen Punkte angemängelt.

Leider war es im ganzen Hotel furchtbar kalt. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich. Frühstück war ok. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, was etwas schade war. Ausgangslage zum Rhein Neckar Zentrum ist super. Den NH Standard, welchen man sonst kennt wurde hier leider nicht erfüllt.
