I’m giving this hotel 5 stars because of the front desk associate with the long hair that checked me in and out as well as their manager when I was checking out. Unfortunately i didn’t get their names. I felt welcomed. The only thing that I would probably complain about was the clogged shower drain. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay here.

Great staff. Easy check in. Good size room. Immaculately clean. Comfortable beds. Good airconditioning. There is a safe and a fridge. There is tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom is a good size. Good shower pressure. Breakfast was excellent. Good location about an 8 min walk from the train station. Walk to Mannheim Water Tower and other attractions. Tram stop just up from the hotel takes you to Palace, Jesuit Church etc. Supermarket two blocks away. No complaints at all. Highly recommend.

The hotel is in a great location whether you arrive by train or driving. The staff are very welcome and helpful, we reported a problem and it was solved in 5 minutes. The room was modern and very nice. It is also close to a tram stop. The room also had a Nespresso machine and the lift goes directly to the car park as well

Bad smell in the room (smoking) an air conditioning not working. No one asked in check out how was the stay. Would not visit the hotel next time. There were not too many hotels available when made booking but if knew what to expect would have tried to find another. Staff was nice and also breakfast good but that was only plus side of my stay.

It was good, we had a great room for the purpose of our family, Suite with a pull-out couch for the kid. What made me unhappy was that the images of the rooms show a nice Capresso coffee maker, this was our expectation. However, our room had a electric water pot and instant coffee. I did not get a chance to ask the hotel why there was a discrepancy, as we were busy the entire time during our stay. We also felt that 18Euro for their breakfast was excessive. I went down one morning to get decent coffee and it cost 2,70 euro per cup... I should have gone across the street to the cafe' for half the price and better coffee.

Wonderful hotel in the city center

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are not big, but very cozy, comfortable, clean and stylish, with all the essentials provided (small fridge, security safe, nice set of toiletries - these are the things I cal think of that I haven't seen in other European hotels). It also has air conditioner, which (something I didn't realize) is extremely important in the summer. The staff is very friendly and polite, and we had breakfast included, which was also very nice (huge variety of fresh bakery, cheeses, fruits and veggies, served in a cozy and stylish dining room). Last but not least, it has a great location 5-10 min walk to major attractions in the old town.

Not a good place for sleep.

They charge 18 Euros a night for parking or you can try your hand at the spaces out front that are free overnight, but will require money. When I arrived I had to get the attention of the front desk staff who were happily messing about in the back office. The room had no AC, which was not good considering the metro runs right in front of the hotel and the city is relatively loud. The carpets had several stains and the shower ran so hard it soaked the bathroom floor from water bouncing off my body (maybe a 5 minute shower). The restaurant did have good staff and food. I've stayed at many BW's before and this one is far from up to snuff.

Good value and good location

We arrived from the US about noon, and the staff was very accommodating, getting us in our rooms early by 1:30. The breakfast was very expensive, so we bought bread and pastries from a bakery just one block away. Rooms were a nice size and fully equipped. The main tourist/restaurant area was about a 15 minute walk away.
The hotel staff was always kind, friendly, and helpful. We would stay here again.

The room was great. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. We would stay here again. It wasn't far to walk to a great park or to several good restaurants and most importantly to the train station. The service desk was very helpful. We had to pay 0.30 per page of printing paper and I would think the hotel could allow for a couple of pieces of paper per person. That would allow people to print out boarding passes or other small documents if needed. They did offer free ice cream bars, which was awesome, especially since it was hot the days we were there visiting.

The hotel was fine, although without air conditioning which meant we had to have windows open as it was quite hot. Fortunately the street wasn't busy so the noise didn't worry us. The coffee machine in the room was weird, but we eventually got some coffee but made a mess with the water.

Wir waren als Paar verreist, um das Gruseldinner "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hide" zu besuchen. Dieses war wirklich sagenhaft, sowohl von der Darstellung, als auch von den Speisen und dem Service. Ich hätte eigentlich gewettet, dass der Service nicht hoteleigen war, es wurde beim Schlussapplaus jedoch auf den Hotelservice hingewiesen.
Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen: Da ist noch extrem viel Luft nach oben.
Bei der Bettensteuer von 3,92 € war der Mann an der Rezeption überfordert, uns auf 5,92 € herauszugeben. Er überlegte, ließ das Kleingeld links liegen und gab dann auf 5 € raus.
Im Zimmer war der eine Stuhl so dermaßen abgeschabt und zerschlissen, den hätte ich eher auf dem Sperrmüll erwartet.
Am Sonntag um 9 Uhr im Speisesaal: Sämtliche Platten waren leer! Wir fragten nach neuem Rührei, das kam dann tatsächlich auch. Croissants und Plunderteile waren leer. Bei den Brötchen und dem Toastbrot waren noch Reste. Auch bei den Platten mit Belag war nahezu alles weg, teilweise waren noch vereinzelte Wurst- oder Käsescheiben zu finden. Auch Obstsalat, oder Joghurt war komplett leer. Wir aßen also immer das, was gerade frisch nachgelegt wurde. Nebenher beobachteten wir, dass zeitweise sogar keine Kaffeetassen mehr zu haben waren. Zwischenrein beschränkten wir uns auf die Karamell-Kekse, weil nichts anderes zu haben war. Um 10.15 Uhr kamen tatsächlich ein paar Croissants, um die man sich schlagen musste!
Die nächste Übernachtung fürs Gruseldinner werden wir in einem anderen Hotel buchen!

Das Personal schien etwas überfordert zu sein, sowohl beim Eichecken als auch beim Auffüllen des Frühstücksbuffets. Beim Einchecken wurden uns nicht für das Zimmerschloss entsprechende Schlüssel gegeben. Am ersten Morgen hatten wir keine Bröttchen/kein Brot bekommen.

The hotel gives only 1 key per room (it is normal card key they could do more but they refuse).
When check in we realised air conditionning was making a strange noise. And when we ask for another room the manager told us we were too poor and shouldn't have a AC. We left the hotel right away. Now the hotel refuses to apply late cancelation policy and charge us the full stay instead of 1 night as written in policy ... Very bad service!!!

Die Unterkunft ist nicht sehr weit weg vom Bahnhof, die Gegend geht so. Innen Sauber, fällt aber ein wenig auseinander - müsste mal renoviert werden.
Frühstück war gut.
3 Mal Feueralarm am letzten Morgen hätte für mich nicht sein müssen. Waren alles Fehlarlarme - aber laut und nervig.

Perfekt für Städte-Tour

Zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Appartment. Sehr gute ÖPV- Anbindung. Lage ist sehr lebhaft - bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr laut. Zimmer heizt sich schnell auf. Wird wohl im Sommer sehr warm, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe des Hbf Mannheim. Das Personal war grundsätzlich sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis angemessen. Leider war gerade das Bad nicht so sauber, wie man es von einem Hotel diesen Standards erwartet (alte Haare auf dem Boden und innerhalb der Duschbadewanne)

schickes Hotel in der Innenstadt von Mannheim

Das Hotel liegt in der Innenstadt von Mannheim, wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt.
Die Stadt Mannheim war bei unserem Aufenthalt an den Straßen sehr schmutzig (viel Sperrmüll, Abfälle einfach abgekippt).
Insgesamt macht die Stadt einen recht lebendigen Eindruck, viel los in der Innenstadt.

Decepcionante. Quartos muito velhos. Porta com problemas para ler o cartão. Falta de produtos da casa de banho (não tinham gel de duche). Difícil regular a temperatura da água (ou muito quente ou frio).
O quarto não estava pronto à hora do check in e deram cartões de acesso errados.

Wieder mal Perfekt. Frühstück Top.
Das Bad im Zimmer 119 sollte Mal gemacht werden . Türe geht kaum auf und Streift am Boden . Und mich Persönlich Stört nur der PVC Boden im Zimmer dort wäre ein Teppich Boden wesentlich hochwertiger .
