Great location if you come by train. Friendly staff. The entrance is a little small and features a few steps up. I'd give this hotel five stars but the shower had drainage issues and had prominent mold in the tiling.

When the listing said they were close to the train station that is an understatement. They are SUPER CLOSE to the train station. Easy for taxi rides and catching the train. ATM nearby and eateries.

Bed was very comfortable and room was masculine and inspiring. Bathroom was very nice as well.

I loved staying in this charming hotel, literally a minute’s walk from the Hbf. The front desk folks are friendly and welcoming, the property impeccable, my room (a single on the top floor) a delight. I didn’t have breakfast, but I’m sure it would match the standards of the hotel in general. Not expensive and the convenient location makes it an obvious choice for a traveller arriving by train. Highly recommended!

They gave me a super tiny attic room with, a single bed, the ceiling was very close to the bed. Felt super uncomfortable. Nothing looks the same as the pictures that I booked for hotels.com. I asked to change a room, but the staff from reception said there was no room available until I found the last one online. The new room was good, very big but the heating was not working. They said nothing they could do because they had to call someone to check on Monday. I was there for a comfy holiday, it kind of killed my mood. I didn't take any pictures of the tiny room because it made me so uncomfortable when I got in, it looked so small and dark.

Hotel is beautiful, and perfectly located. We had 2 small issues, they try to force you to do the web check in, which doesn't work with the hotels.com reservation number, so once they relented and helped it was much better. The other is that they only had 1 towel in the bathroom, in a hotel reserved for 2 people I expect more than 2 towels, not 1.

If you’re coming to Mannheim on the train, it can’t be more convenient. You’ll see it off to the right as you walk out of the station! The lobby and bar are cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff there to greet you. Our room (the “medium”) was easily one of my favorite all time hotel rooms! So spacious and filled with comfort and style. Don’t miss this gem!

The staff were very helpful. In this Covid travel time they took time to help us that went beyond what was necessary. The property is very close to the train station. It is beautiful and very clean. The key card ensures that only guests can go upstairs. The only bad thing was that the neighbors across the street had a party until 3am, Not something the hotel can control. I would recommend this hotel and will use it during future travels.

Clean modern hotel near city centre

Syte is nicely located close to the city centre. We’ve parked our car at the P3 parking garage 200 meters from the hotel. The checkin itself was flawless, as we had the opportunity to prefill the check-in details with an online form. As such the on-site checkin went quickly. We had a room at the 4th floor and a nice view at the train station of Mannheim. The room itself had a small kitchen with a coffee machine. A clean room with a normal size bathroom. Good beds. Maybe one improvement: we’ve missed hooks for hanging our jackets.

The Syte hotel was very nice. Rooms were very spacious, bathrooms were very nice and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

There is no hotel parking. You either park in a lot or paid street parking..

Spent 4 days for business (room 35). New hotel with dark, moody, sexy design. Spacious comfortable rooms, cozy hip lounge serving creative quality cocktails, restaurant matches the loung with creative cuisine and excellent service all at very fair prices. Was nervous about light & noise from buzz of train station nearby however excellent construction and room was sound and light proof as needed. Hotel had nice holiday vibe too which was nice for us traveling during Christmas season. Wishing SYTE continued success.

Have stayed at SYTE three times during the past months, and both stays were very very comfortable. The rooms are fabulously styled, every room apparently differently. The lobby of this small hotel feels more like a living room.

Stayed here for 2 nights when in Mannheim for a conference. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the station.

This is a stylish boutique-style hotel that was a pleasure to stay in.

My room was 4th floor, with a nice little balcony. It was a very spacious room and was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a lovely size with 2 basins and a spacious walk-in shower - with overhead \"rain\" shower or an option for a standard shower-head too. Nice quality toiletries too.

The hotel bar was obviously a popular meeting point for residents. Drinks were reasonably priced with a huge variety of options.

I didn't have breakfast here due to early starts.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would like an excuse to return!

Hotel with style and charm. Clean, friendly but they forgot to give me my passport back during check in so instead of chasing me down and making sure I got that important document back they kept it waiting for me to ask for it back. Not having it or being able to find it gave a small panic attack.
The location is quite nice m, close to the main train station it is positioned really well.
The construction on the other side currently is a pain in the rear but there is construction almost anywhere.

Overall happy with the place would certainly recommend it.

In Mannheim, this is a great hotel to stay at

Normally i would not stay near a railway station, as past experience has shown, it's kind of seedy. The Syte hotel could not be more convenient to the station and in Mannheim, the area is being redeveloped. The room (35) is spacious, bright and gas comfortable beds. There is construction next door but with the double pained Windows, it was quiet. My first room was on the top floor but the a/c was not working and I was moved without any problems. The hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet and the overall decor is cool

Modernly equipped rooms with fancy furniture, well decorated walls, comfortable bed.
Room had all I need except a fridge. Also would be good if they offered still water instead of sparkling (or both options or asking at checkin, etc.), can't stand sparkling water...
Some light switches didn't work.
Great location just opposite the train station.
Offer a light breakfast option, but quite expensive for what you get (coffee/bread), used to be half the price a few years ago.

Service bekommt „gemittelt“ 4 Sterne auf Grund des 5-Sterne-Service des sehr kundenfreundlichen Mitarbeiters Klaus, der mich ausgecheckt hat. Der Mitarbeiter beim Einchecken verdiente eher 1 Stern. Es gab trotz einer voll eingerichteten Küche nichts an Geschirr oder Besteck außer 2 Wassergläsern. Merkwürdig, soll man sich seine Töpfe, Teller usw. etwa alles mitbringen? Dafür gab es Müll von den Vorgästen. Das Zimmer war eigentlich schön, besonders die Hartböden, auf Grund derer ich das Hotel gewählt hatte, es war jedoch durch die Bank weg nicht sauber. Flecken auf Handtüchern & Bettwäsche sowie Staubschicht auf Kaffeemaschine & Oberflächen. Total irrsinnig ist die Sichtsituation im - ebenfalls eigentlich sehr schönen - Bad, die Rollos gehen nur über die unteren Fenster. Aus dem Gebäude gegenüber aus den höher gelegenen Stockwerken kann also einem jeder im Bad zuschauen. Ebenso irrsinnig die Tatsache, daß die Klimaanlage beim einchecken lief bei geöffneten Fenstern sowohl in Zimmer als auch Bad. Die zentrale Minibar im Flur [kostenpflichtig] fand ich angenehm, da die auf jeden Fall nachgefüllt wird, das Restaurant war jedoch während meines gesamten 2-Nächteaufenthalts geschlossen. Der Eingang ist übrigens nicht da wo auf Google Maps angezeigt, sondern auf der Tattersallstraße, nicht beschildert und wirkt sehr uneinladend. Als ich ankam, war die Tür [sehr dunkel, undurchsichtig] zu.

Great hotel if you need to be in the area. Close to the central station of Mannheim, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The restaurant in the hotel is also pretty good with Sushi Mondays. The staff at the reception is super friendly and helpful. They also have a pretty good bar. I had the luck I could park outside on the one of the public parking spaces that are free of charge after 21:00.
I will certainly go here next time when in the area.

Sehr schönes modernes Hotel, zentrale Lage direkt am Hbf und trotzdem ruhig, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter:innen. Frühstück und Parkmöglichkeiten habe ich nicht in Anspruch genommen, es gibt jedoch Parkplätze in der Straße sowie das Parkhaus vom Bahnhof um die Ecke und Gastronomie fußläufig erreichbar in den Quadraten oder in der Seckenheimer Str.

Super hotel next to the central station of Mannheim. If you not used to noise outside close the window as trains will depart early! The hotel itself is great, nice boutique hotel with a good bed and a very modern bathroom. The amenities are top class. The restaurant have a nice variation of dishes based on Asian / Japanese, sushi was perfect prepared. Parking, there is parking close by , if you are lucky you can park across the street.
