We did not have breakfast. We departed early. We overlooked the Railway Station, which was fine for me.

The hotel is in an excellent location with superb transport access, situated right next to the central train and bus stations. The rooms are clean and tidy, making for a pleasant stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us when we needed help communicating with a third party for other matters. Their warm and helpful service truly stood out.

Definitely the right choice for a city trip

The room was really in good condition and spotless clean. There is even a fridge, which is not standard in many German hotels. The hotel right next to the busiest area, but I heard nothing from outside, so the isolation was very good. The breakfast was also very appetizing.

The hotel is in a great location right next to the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but suitable for a short stay.

The beds however are absolutely awful and the single pillows are awful too. The room wasn't cleaned for the duration of our stay, even though we asked for cleaning twice.

When you consider price versus comfort, I would stay here again.

Decent hotel in the area right next to the train station. It’s super convenient if you need to stay overnight and have a train before and after. Room is of a good size and functional. Beds are comfortable. One might hear some noise from the trains and straßenbahn. Staff is competent and kind.

Clean corner room with Birds Eye wire of trains.

We had a corner room overlooking the trains and trams. We loved it! In and out they went, this color and that color, this length and that. Carrying cargo or people, fast or slow. It got better at night. On the 9th floor. What a bird’s eye view! Our children would have loved it! Clean and comfortable. Small room but the price reflected that.

This property is well located near the railway station but a safe area. Limited dining facilities but plenty of places close by. Would be good to be able to make a cup of coffee in the room.Had breakfast one morning and it was very good. Hotel is value for money.

Overall the stay was more than acceptable. However, on arrival having been given the room key when I got to the room it had not been cleaned or serviced :-( On return to the reception I received an apology and a bag of Haribo..mmm. At minimum I would have expected a bar token \"gutschein\" or a room upgrade and/or an offer to add breakfast FOC.

Unnnötiges Dauerbetreiben und hier nicht einmal regulierbares Hochdrehen der Klimaanlage ist bei Intercity die Regel und in diesem Hotel nachweislich kein Einzelfall. Wie kann man so etwas heute noch machen! Ein Umweltvergehen dieser Dimension verhindert jede positive Gesamtbeurteilung - trotz des excellenten Hotelpersonals.

Hotel als Zwischenstopp für längere Reise mit Enkelin gebucht . Lage super , gleich am BHF , sehr freundlicher Empfang , alles sehr sauber , Zimmer top . Beim Frühstück wieder sehr nette Mitarbeiter und für Enkelin gab es eine kleine Überraschung beim Checkout. Hotel sehr zu empfehlen .

Well equipped, modern, spacious room.
Location right next to the train station hence convenient for moving around, but obviously gets more noise. Despite the windows reducing the noise substantially, I couldn't sleep without earplugs.
The complimentary transport ticket for quite a broad area was very useful for me since I wanted to go around - thereby notably improving the value of what I got for my money.

I couldn't fault the hotel it was very nice and clean presentation was 100% i wasn't happy that in the 4 nights stay we didnt get any change of bedding or clean towels bearing in mind i was having 3 showers a day with it been really hot so the same towels were used 12 times overall and i missed not having a kettle in my room i loved the fact everything was in the diorstep including the train station

I enjoyed my stay at Intercity Mannheim. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean. The free travel pass was great and as I stayed close to Christmas, they had a hotel guest advent calendar with chocolates every morning. A lovely touch. The only downside was the WiFi didn’t work very well in the room.

Very well located hotel (next to the central station) and easily accessible from Frankfurt airport. Even though it was close to the station the room was well sound proofed and I wasn't disturbed by noise.
Convenient for the congress centre (10 min walk) and for the city of Mannheim in general.
Very functional typical Intercity rooms which I really like.

Weather was mild but room was hot. Air conditioning did not help. Windows were fully shut and vents were blowing. But it did not cool. Proximity to train tracks makes an open window in 203 problematic.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable, staff lovely and welcoming. Sadly the area it’s located in really let’s it down and the parking is not great either. Did not feel safe when walking to the hotel which is a shame. Hotel even provided free travel around the local area for the time we stayed there which was great for the F1 weekend at Hockenheim.

One of the best Intercity Hotels around

This Intercity Hotel is a joy, especially compared to some of the really lacking ones around Germany. This one is new, efficient, with friendly staff. It was too warm, and the windows don't open, but they quickly brought me a fan. Comfortable room, good location, excellent.

The hotel is located on the main train station of Mannheim. In that way, it's extremely convenient. It does tend to be a bit loud, but not horribly so. I slept with earplugs and found it acceptable. The local area is very close to public transportation and has several very nice restaurants.

We booked this property because of the good ratings and proximity to the Train Station. We were not disappointed. We visited Mannheim because it is my Mother's hometown and we wanted so see where she grew up, met my Father and got married. The lady at the front desk was kind, informative and really helped us find our way around the City. In fact, all the front desk personnel went above and beyond to make it a good experience for us and helped us accomplish all we wanted to get done while in Mannheim. We used the Public Transportation included with the Room price and it worked out very well. Breakfast was fine but the staff was much less friendly. We would stay again and definitely would recommend the IntercityHotel, Mannheim. Thanks!

Terrible hotel in a poor location with rude staff. Was given a disabled room, not requested and told nothing could be done.

Felt like we were staying in a hospital so left immediately. Manager argued that no refund as my opinion was subjective.

Of course it's subjective, it's me paying the bill...

Good, modern and clean hotel. Very close to the railway station. Check in was easy. I had reserved a double bed but they gave me a twin, which was annoying. When asked to change the room they told me they were full. Room was clean and comfortable. Good air con and shower. Would recommend.
