I had an amazing time at the Dorint Hotel and will def come back again. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast buffet is ten out of ten! They have a wellness area.Unfortunately I was not able to take advantage of it because I was so busy roaming around in Mannheim. Parking garage leads directly to the hotel

Good hotel in center of Mannheim

Located in the city center, it is easy to access shopping and dining venues. Hotel and room were in good condition. We didn’t try the breakfast as many outside bakery shops offer a sandwich and coffee for a more lower price. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

Great location downtown Manheim, nice cozy clean room with air-conditioning plus we were offered a fan. They allow pets which was great with plenty of places to go potty and the breakfast was phenomenal, one of the best we’ve had. ask for an omelette and they will cook it for you perfectly

Good stay, nice and clean hotel. Superb breakfast. Comfy rooms and beds. Few steps from the maincity centre, can be reached on foot in less than 5mins. Lots of places to eat around the hotel. Only downside was parking, the charge is more than stated on website which is 16€ for 24hours bur qe paid 33€ for two nights therefore rate is for every 12hours. Suggest the parking prices are made mlre clearer and displaced near entrance.

Comfortable and convenient.

We stayed for 4 nights. It is a comfortable and cosy hotel, in an excellent location, literally close to everyplaces. While depending on which staff you met, the front desk service was most friendly and helpful (at least 4 out of 5 staff we met were friendly). The breakfast selection was good but it remained identical for the entire 4 days of our accommodation.

Overall, a decent hotel. I booked through a 3rd party website a long time before my stay. When I checked in they told me breakfast was included with my rate and showed me directions to the breakfast room. After 5 days, i had to stump up for 5 days breakfast at €23 per day. Quite a lot for a bowl of cornflakes and a glass of orange juice. When I tried to explain to the girl at reception, she became very irate and rude then slammed my card into the machine during payment. So beware of hidden extras.

Also they only have single quilts on double beds. Not great for a good nights sleep when it keeps falling off in the middle of the night.

Located in city center next to congress centre, Wasserturm and main shopping road “Planken”. Room and hotel is in good condition. Cleaning was despite one day good (no change of sheets, towels, no cleaning of bathroom or floor before last night). Front desk service is friendly and good, received an upgrade at check in. Breakfast is expensive (25 EUR per person), so we ate outside, baker shop and coffee shops are close by. The garage is with 18 EUR per day very expensive, however the close by area is parking for residents only. We did not check any other features (gym, spa, conference, bar or restaurant). Included WiFi worked well, even for streaming.

Generally good if not serious Food Poisoning

The hotel is generally ok, except the hotel's restaurant experience which led to serious stomach disorder and sleepless night. What could go wrong? I had a late dinner (10pm) which included simple chicken caesar salad. It was ok by taste, but some ingredients may have not been fresh enough or not preserved in the way they are supposed to be preserved causing the disorder. Lesson learned: better to stick to drinks in places where it is not common to have late dinners.

Money and jewelry stolen from luggage

After 1 night there missing money from luggage. Returning home after stay I find that some of my jewelry is also missing. Travel companion in room next to mine had money missing from his luggage as well, though couldn't verify when it went missing. Hotel offered no apology, though volunteered to remove a couple ot charges for soda from bill. After decades of travel, this is a first for me.

We were there for a huge conference. After checking in, I noticed that the room did not have AC nor a safe. I called the front desk and they told me that all rooms did not AC nor safe. Many of my associates were staying in the same hotel. They tell me that there rooms all had AC...go figure.

Over priced hotel. EUR 180 for a one night stay inc parking, no breakfast, room was basic, not as shown on the website. Old and need of refurbishment. 4-5 star price for a 3 star room. Had dinner in the bar, good food, excellent service from the guy behind the bar, very welcoming.

Would look at alternative hotels for next trip, if I am paying nearly EUR 200 then I am sure better hotels are available.

The staff was \"politely grumpy\", but as an upside you are sure to wake up with their wake-up call ;) Conference facilities had some problems with electricity and temperature but it was sorted after several requests. The hotel is great for a business trip, that is what I did. The rooms were recently renovated and that shows up. Very clean, pleasant room. Friendly and helpful staff, awesome breakfast buffet and the room service was good, quick and attentive. The wifi connection was sometimes a bit choppy, so they should take care of that. The hotel is located in the town center, walking distance from the major store area and the train station. Also some interesting restaurants around, like Zwieblers, a small cozy wine bar at the other side of the Friedrichsplatz.

A very big, nice, modern hotel. Good wifi. My room was very nice and the bathroom also. Front desk people were super friendly and nice. Only glitch was that because I had reserved a standard single room, it does not come with air conditioning. I had to reserve a higher grade room to get a room with A/C. However, the room did have a decent powerful table fan I used during the night, so I was comfortable enough. When I happened to mention at the front desk that I was surprised I had no A/C in my room, the clerk explained why, then told me if I was too uncomfortable to let her know and she would change my room at no extra cost. I thought that was a very nice offer; the right thing to do but I opted to just keep the room I had contracted for.

I had stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and on this trip the hotel is in the middle of a major renovation.
I booked one of the renovated rooms, and I was not disappointed. The rooms were bright, clean, airconditioned and modern.
Unfortunately on the last day of my stay I discovered the mini-bar was included in the price of my room.
The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel has also added free Wi-Fi.
The highlight of the stay were the breakfasts. The orange juicer was awesome and the food selection impressive.
This will be my hotel to stay in when visiting Mannheim.

I visited Mannheim second time now for Time Warp festival. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. You could feel spirit of festival right at your first steps. Hotel has really good location very close to Water tower and historical center of town. If you dont want to use hotel restaurant there is many nice stylish restaurants around. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff friendly and efficient. Me and my group will definately be back next year. Well done Dorint
