My adult son and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location was perfect on Etna Ave which is the Main Street. The room was clean and we had a room facing the street. There were no noise issues since there was a steel door and a glass door. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. The staff communicated through WhatsApp which was easy. I highly recommend staying here.

The location was great, the breakfasts too, place was sufficiently clean but not immaculate, the entrance and backyard and court could have used some attention, the biggest issue was the internet which was down upon checkin and not functional, hotel mentioned that the service was down but when they suggested I change to their internal wifi the problem was resolved. It cost us some data in our plan however.

All in all the stay was good and the value makes it worthwhile

Excellent location across from the beautiful Bellini park and close to many shops and restaurants. Everything is walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff that guided us around the city and gave good directions to all the attractions we wanted to see. The rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend this hotel!

Our family of three enjoyed a one-night stay during a transfer from Mazzaro Bay to Paris. The rooms were fairly spartan but comfortable for one night. WiFi access was a little buggy and the space was not air conditioned before our arrival. Be prepared to carry your luggage up three floors of stairs. Staff did an OK job explaining the facilities but there were several keys to memorize for certain doors. Overall, an acceptable experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the area. Only after checking in did I realise how good the location of this hotel is - at the top end of Via Etnea - so walkable to the historic centre of Catania. They have a very good arrangement with a secure car park a 5 minute walk away - 20 euro per night but you can come in and out during the day as required - otherwise parking near the hotel would be a nightmare. Room was really comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size, clean and with a modern shower and well lit. Aircon was very effective. Breakfast buffet was excellent as was the breakfast room itself, and the desk staff were very friendly and helpful throughout - I wished I had been able to stay more than two nights.

The location is great as it’s walking distance to many things. There’s a bus to the airport which you can catch across the street which is a plus. The breakfast was decent and the gentleman in charge was very kind and helpful. The rooms could use some upgrading as it was old looking and the bathroom smelled like sewer water. It’s no frills and comfortable but don’t expect amenities like a gym or room service. It’s a small boutique hotel. It was comfortable for our stay.

Bit unsure on arrival as the entrance was behind a big pot leading to a communal yard, but that seems to be the norm in catania, rang the buzzer and got let in. Taken to the room no lift so could be a problem with heavy bag or walking difficulties. The room itself was very nice , spotless but the big thing for us was when we opened the door shutters the view was the hustle and bustle of the street below from the small balcony. Straight across the street was Bellini park , many many cafes and shops underneath and when you look to the right you could see Etna covered in snow large as life between the buildings, what a great sight. We love to people watch so was great for us. If you want it to be really quiet, maybe not for you.
We had a great time savio cafe I underneath served great arancina and granita.

The receptionist was a bit cross when we arrived - I had said our ETA was 18.30 to 18.45, we arrived at 18.55 (I realise that reception closes at 19.00 and we were a bit later than anticipated, but we had had a tiring journey, and at least we arrived 5 mins before reception closed!!). A different person was on reception on checking out who wasn't very warm.

The bed in my room at Etna suites was the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. I stayed there at the start and the end of my visit in Sicily and the beds were magnificent! The location is great, and very convenient to walking around town. On my second visit I was told that breakfast was served from 7:00 am. Since I had a flight to catch, I was there at 7:00 am for a quick bite to eat before my departure. I was told by the breakfast staff that it was closed. There was already plenty of food set out but I wasn’t allowed to come in for breakfast. I waited several minutes, and finally left.

Alessandro was amazing. We were able to do early check in and leave our baggage for several hours after check out. The breakfast had lots of variety. The only issue was that the toilet had a trick to it in order to flush it. You had to pump the button 2 times and on the third it flushed. Central location. Very walkable. Would stay here again.

The rooms are very simply furnished, though clean. We had to change the room because the toilet was leaking in the originally assigned room. Mosquitoes were in both rooms, and it was crucial to have the plugin to keep rhem away. This, in turn, caused a very unpleasant smell in the room.
It was a good thing that we were out of the room, on tours and walking, for the entire day.

This was a perfect stay for me. The room was large, cleaned daily with fresh towels. The breakfast was good with all options, meat, cheese, pastries cereal, fruit , yogurt. The breakfast room was ver pretty. The location was on the main street, walkable with shops, restaurants, wine bars, book stores etc. Many sites are walkable from the hotel. There is an airport bus across the street , taxis, post office and two amazing cafes downstairs. Oh yes, a gorgeous botanical garden across the street. The staff were good. The self check in was no problem and I got into my room fine after 7 pm. The instructions were very detailed.

My room had no real view but inner courtyard and rooftops. Maybe higher floor rooms have a view.I did not care as the city has so much to see. The bed and pillows were nice. There is a kettle, bottle opener, tea bags in the room. A small safe too. They can arrange trips or airport runs for you.

There is no elevator so you must be able to carry your own bags. The wifi was not working. They are aware and trying to resolve. The cafes at the bottom of the building and many places have free wifi so no big deal. I think most people have their own data. I am not tech savvy so did not plan for that.

I was happy with the hotel and would tell others or stay again. Thanks for everything Etna Suites and staff. I loved it and had a wonderful holiday.

The location was good, right across the street from Villa Bellini park and was walkable to sights. There was a parking lot nearby at a reasonable price. The breakfast was plentiful and the room was spacious.
However, the mattress was lumpy, there was no lift, and the WiFi was unpredictable. Their router could not connect you to the internet. Moving into the hallway helped at bit but even when sitting in their office area WiFi connection was lost. We told them about the issue.

I love the tub, but it would’ve been nice to be informed of the traffic on that road on a Saturday. We almost thought we were entering into a festival with people walking all over the streets. We wondered if we should’ve even been driving on that road in front of the hotel. When I asked, they said it is normally heavy traffic on Saturday, but we were not warned of the foot traffic on that road.

The worker there is incredibly helpful. He booked us a taxi, helped us with food spots, upgraded our room and was overly accommodating. The outside looks a little dirty but it is on the main road across from the park which is nice. The inside is a little worn and old. We only stayed one night so it was fine but just to set expectations. Our room faced the park and it was not loud.
