All the employees were very friendly, even the cleaning staff! The walls are thin so you will hear your neighbours but the amenities are beautiful. I highly recommend choosing the “all-inclusive” option for meals. The buffets were first rate and had everything labelled carefully if you have food sensitivities (like gluten intolerance or a severe nut allergy).

This hotel pleasantly surprised me when I entered. It did not look spectacular but the rooms and hallways were nicely updated. Service was terrific.Breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was the noise from the avenue below at night with the window open (note, not uncommon or out of ordinary in Spain!).

Elba Motril Beach Hotel

Hotel is clean and the facilities are of a high standard. Parking on-site is 7€ / night and is limited so if you are staying during a busy time you may have issues. We got a room upgrade as the hotel had not taken our booking from Hotels.com. This was a nice gesture. The beach is mostly gravel and stone / pebbles and is across a road and promenade from the hotel. The sea is actually about 400 to 500 meters from the hotel.Hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool and indoor jacuzzi.

How can anyone enjoy a stay when on arrival being told that check in is at 3pm, especially after letting them know that we would be arriving early and they acknowledged that? This from a 4 star hotel! Upon complaining they use the feable excuse that checkout is at noon, as if they need to clean all the rooms, after noon, and let everyone one in at 3pm. Absurd, especially in the low season of mid-October and when group tours and business people leave early.

Check-in was easy. The room and bathroom were a decent size but décor was tired. No guest tray or kettle and basic toiletries. The TV turned on every time you entered the room which I found annoying. The walls were so thin if I knew Spanish I would know what my neighbour was saying and if he has a partner I feel sorry for them with his snoring. The breakfast buffet was average with very greasy scrambled eggs. There was an omelet station but no one manning it. You needed a swimming hat for the pool so I could not use that facility. Would not stay here again. It's a three star hotel.

Across from the beach. We were there first week of November and not much going on. Food just Ok. Room large and comfortable. Drink pours better than average. Staff at reception excellent albeit a tad slow. Restaurant and bar staff excellent. Parking very convenient. Beautiful property.

Staying in October, the hotel was relatively quiet. The lobby, bar and restaurant areas are well maintained and clean. The hotel room was rather stark with nothing on the walls (pictures or decoration) and our room had a lot of wall damaged needing repair. Hotel staff were very helpful especially with our language barrier. Good breakfast.

A really plus deal close to the Marina di Motril.

My colleague and I were in Motril for work purposes and Elba Motril B&B Resort was recommended to us as an alternative. Very handly to the Marina where we were working. Probably the best option in the area with secure onsite parking for €6 euros per day. The parking spaces were the biggest I've encountered, I have a BMW 5 series and we fit into the parking space with room to spare.
Never had the chance to use the pool although it was noticeably smaller than depicted on Hotels.com. A plunge pool probably, rather than a lap pool. The interior decor leading to the rooms was interesting, lots of neon and very Las Vegas if that's your thing. The rooms are big, marble clad and has a safe and minibar etc. The sea views looked better on Hotels.com but we were out all day anyway, so made little difference to us. Not exactly attractive looking out over a series of old garages towards the beach about 500 meters away. Staff were great, super polite and helpful. Lots of food and a ton of selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner which was thought provoking as there weren't that many guests onsite so I wonder what happens to all the remaining food at the end of service...
and I'm talking about ALOT of food! Hopefully, not all into the rubbish bins! I paid for the rooms and all meals which was really handy and excellent value for money! The only hotel that has offered this service so far. Motril close to the marina unfortunately didn't have much to offer but again it was only 3 days.

The hotel is very nice and the room spacious. I faced an issue with the check in as I had to sign documents provided only in Spanish and I did not have a explanation or translation of what it was about. Furthermore, the restaurant was closing at 22:00 and even though I entered sometime before, nobody came to take order or inform that the kitchen was about to close and if I want to order. As a result I did not manage to eat.

Great Hotel excellent location with friendly staff

We had a great Premium room. The Hotel staff were very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. The daily menu in the Restaurant looked inviting although we didn't use it as we were surrounded by sea food restaurants. Parking on site is a bonus as it can be difficult to find a parking space nearby.

Location is close to the beach. Great Breakfast and Dinner buffet. Onsite parking. The staff who helped during check-in was very friendly. Some other staff at the front desk were not so friendly. The entire staff at the restaurant during dinner and breakfast were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are nice and modern. Rooms also have the balcony with a view of the ocean, nice!!

The room 215 is dated and in need of some maintenance, balcony sliding door very difficult to open suspect collapsed roller, and entrance door to room groaned and squeaked when opened and closed must have been annoying to other room occupants. Noise easily heard from adjacent rooms.

Nice hotel, but terrible location

The hotel is really nice, room very comfortable, great buffet breakfast included and nice gym.

The only problem is that the pool and jacuzzi are very cold. We couldnt get in the water.

Additionally, if you are planning for some holiday, Motril is definitely a terrible destination. There is absolutely nothing and the beach is horrible.

Motril is a seaport, the beach was clean and expansive but of coarse, grey sand and about 50m from the hotel which is very smart and clean. The booking included breakfast which was very good with attentive staff (I left a tip). Over the road is The Juan Garcia an excellent, affordable restaurant, where we ate one night. Food we saw served in the hotel looked very good too.
We visited at the beginning of March 2018 which was unusually wet and cold to the locals but warm to us. We tried the aircon but it didn't work. Leaving the windows open wasn't an option because of mosquitoes from the nearby grassland. We requested a fan but none was available. This was the only negative and I don't count it a big one.
I would not hesitate advising friends to stay here.
We were on a touring holiday between Alicante and Malaga, staying for 2 nights at various locations.

The hotel was good with great service and newly refurbished rooms and common space. I stayed for business and in the off-off season so the area looked a little desolate but that was down to the time rather than anything else. There are fantastic restaurants locally and I am sure that this is a very popular hotel in the summer (and rightly so).

Very nice hotel, quiet and relaxing at time of our visit during May. Excellent choice of breakfast buffet, hot or cold. Comfortable room, large bed, sea view balcony, very clean, good WiFi signal. Secure car parking at reasonable cost.
Just a short walk to the pasio and beach. Great stopover for a couple of days, Resort very quiet at this time of year, many restaurants closed but did not cause us a problem. Hotel is situated well for touring the area.

The hotel itself is lovely and comfortable. One of the biggest most comfortable beds I've slept in! The jacuzzi is luke warm not hot and the sauna you have to request to be switched on. Once you're at the pool area you don't want to have to go to reception to ask so that was inconvenient. The location isn't great, not much happening in Motril but if you were there on business it's definitely a great hotel.

Quality Hotel with WONDERFUL Buffet Breakfasts!

Booked for a relaxing getaway; this hotel & area was spot on. Away from the main town of Motril, El Varadero & Playa Granada is a quiet resort, with no discos, nightclubs or Benidorm type British Pubs. Hotel is a good quality 4 star, with a nice outside pool area, a very pleasant bar & accommodating staff. There is a large car park, that was half empty most the time, but maybe this was because (like so many hotels now)they charged an exorbitant parking fee. There was plenty of free parking on the road outside though, so we had no problems. Also well situated, with a great seafood tapas bar/restaurant across the road. 3-4 other bars/cafes/restaurants within 3-5 minutes walk, a couple of beach bars & a bigger selection if you head towards the port area. Roughly a 8-10 minute walk & there are about 8-10 others to choose from. We were late October, so end of season & copped a massive storm that flooded the area, meaning we had to stay another night. Hey Ho! What a hardship...... NOT!

An oasis of calm

Lovely atmosphere as you walk in. Bedroom was spacious and bed huge and comfortable. Mini bar not very well stocked - would have liked to have some wine. Air conditioning didn't work - fan actually made the room hotter. Appreciated the balcony with table & chairs - was really nice to sit outside quietly with a book (& a glass of wine had there been one).

My trip was a one night stay at the end of November 13. Out of season it is necessary to travel into the town to access restaurants and bars; a car journey. I am sure the hotel is transformed in the summer when busier and the beach is more attractive. The Reception, Bar and Restaurant staff were prompt and helpful. Room was clean and functional.

The Hotel is fine, we slept well and the room was clean. We missed free bottles of water every day which should be provided in a 4 star hotel. The hotel is in the wrong place, all restaurants in the area was closed expect from the weekend. We tried the room service a couple of times and the food was bad, really bad! Fortunately we had a car for touring. Salobrena and Alumencar near by was nice, and thank god for Granada !

Old hotel in poor location

We stayed at this hotel for two nights - the service was very good and the front desk staff most helpfull, however it was extremely hard to find and the location was not the best as you had to drive back into two to find restaurants if you did not wish to eat at the hotel. Our room included a lovely breakfast with all sorts of choices. Parking on the hotel property was extra and we did not feel comfortable leaving the car on the road outside.

The hotel overlooked the beach and there was a lovely long promenade along which you could walk but this hotel is by no means \"on the beach\".

Cannot complain about the hotel but would not recommend it because of the location.

We found the hotel quite easily. The hotel itself was quite dated and the hotel reception staff were begrudgingly helpful.

The patio door in our room did not shut properly and having a four year old in tow posed a problem for us. After a conversation with the reception staff we were given another room which was dirty. There was cigarette ash and dust and dirt on the sides, TV and floor. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly and there were hairs in the bath, sink, bedet and toilet left over from the previous guests.

We were asked to complete questionaires at breakfast one morning to say how we rated the hotel. We then recieved a letter asking us to arrange a meeting with the manager(not forgetting we are on holiday) We did this and informed the manager what had happened and that we had originally been asked to stay in the room with the broken door with a four year old(the balcony was two floors up and on a main road) until a man could come and mend it five hours later. We also informed him that the second room was dirty.

There was also an issue with the hotel parking the guidance booklet clearly states that the hotel parking is free yet the receptionist wanted to charge us six euros a night. After a discussion we did not pay this.

The manger said he was sorry for our upsets however, this was obviously a PDR excise for him as he seemed only to be doing it out of duty rather than from a customer service point of view.

The facilities are very much smaller than the pictures on this site suggest they are.

The buffet was good there was a good selection of food available. I am a vegan and I had no problems with the food available to me.

Overall it was not the worst hotel I have ever stayed in but I felt let down when I arrived as it didn't live up to my sexpectations of what I thought I had paid for.

I would recommend the hotel to others as it was not a horrid experience I would just advise that the representation of the hotel is over estimated to say the least.

Quarto amplo e bem iluminado. Estacionamento privado muito bom e com preço razoável.
Internet wi-fi no quarto era miseravelmente má. Se desconectava, não fornecia dados e quando funcionava, a velocidade era deprimente (média de 0,9Mb de dowload e 0,2Mb de upload).
Não pude trabalhar no quarto.
O limpeza do quarto foi pobre e inadequada, encontrei tufos de cabelo e poeira aglomerados en alguns cantos da casa de banho e quarto.

Fint hotell med flott beliggenhet. Ser rett på fuglereservatet fra balkong. På andre siden er stranden. Taxi til sentrum kostet bare 6€. Det er også busstopp rett utenfor. Veldig god frokost. Rakk ikke å bade i bassenget men det så flott ut.

Wie kann man ein 4 Sterne Hotel mitten im Industriegebiet bauen? Gegend, zum flüchten. Kasten ohne Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen. Einrichtung dunkel, absolut nicht meins.

Sehr sauberes Hotel, großes Zimmer, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, gute Lage direkt am Strand, kostenlose Parkplätze an der Straße. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Aufenthalt musste aus persönlichen Gründen kurzfristig verkürzt werden, hier war man sehr kulant und man hat mir schnell und unbürokratisch in Kooperation mit hotels.com geholfen.

Bra service men ingen pool under lågsäsong

Stranden i Motril är lite grövre grus/sten än de flesta andra stränder på kuststräckan, men väligt charmigt. Flera härliga lunchställen trots att det var en lågsäsongvecka i mitten av November. Lite tunnare på kvällstid. Stora besvikelsen var att vi fick intrycket att hotellets pool skulle vara öppen trots lågsäsong, men de hänvisade till en liten inomhuspool i ganska dåligt skick på fjärde våningen. Kändes inte helt juste.
En del trafik utanför hotellentren och rummen med havsutsikt. Säkert annu mer under högsäsong.

Bra hotell, men ikke særlig kvalitet på middag kjøpt på hotellet. Aldri opplevd å få en så seig entrecote. Anbefaler å besøke andre spisesteder. Frokosten var helt ok

Fantastisk utgangspunkt for motorsykkelturer i området, så vi var der 3 netter.

Tranquilidad y estar en familia

Experiencia maravillosa en el hotel. Muy atentos el personal. Cocina muy buena calidad y variada. Camareros amables e imforman de rutas para ver tanto de playas como de pueblos a visitar.

Playa de piedras, pero a 10 min hay una parte de arena gorda y piedras pequeñas para los niños mejor. Zona.muy tranquila, para tomarse algo hay que.caminar 30min o coger el coche, salvo los chiringuitos de playa que estan muy bien ambientado.

El personal es excepcional y súper agradable.
La pega se la pongo al colchón que era mut blando y me resultó muy incómodo.
El bufet espectacular y la atención de todos los trabajadores fue maravillosa, les pongo a todos un 10

Chambre spacieuse uniquement en suite. belle luminosité mais la vue sur mer, faut pas oublier les parkings en box devant qui gachent tout! mais belle terrasse immense sur le toit avec belle vue sur les montagnes

Sinon pas de chaussons, je parle pas de peignoirs évidemment, serviette de mauvaise qualité.

sable partout sur la terrasse sol et chaise, dû à la tempête de sables (mais dans d autres établissements cela avait été nettoyé).

les 2 saunas fermés et le jacuzzi pas très chaud.
Nourriture pas à la hauteur et pas très raffiné je donne pas tout les détails mais à titre de comparaison c'est beaucoup trop cher par rapport à l'iberostar de Torros ou moins bon que le Riu à Nerja.
Faites votre choix je ne sais pas si cela servira mais je n y retournerai pas pour vérifier. ces surtout la note de 8.7 sur le site qui m a pousser à expliquer mon point de vue.

Avisando siempre se pueden evitar problemas

Podría haber sido mejor. No me avisaron que la calefacción central estaba desconectada, puse la calefacción cuando llegué, ya que la habitación estaba helada. Después de llamar más de 10 veces a recepción, porque no me contestaban, me dijeron que lo sentían que la calefacción no estaba conectada, a nivel central, tardaron más de 70 minutos en subir un edredón, entre otras cosas.

Chambre spacieuse et confortable

La procédure de checkin était assez longue. Un peu déçu de l'emplacement de la piscine qui se situe entre le parking et la route et le fait de n'avoir accès au spa/indoor piscine pour cause de covid alors que dans d'autres hotels, l'accès est possible.
Sinon, très agréablement surprise par la chambre très spacieuse et très confortable

Un séjour convenable

Un séjour convenable dans l'ensemble.
Avantages:
- Plage à côté de l'hôtel
- Salle de musculation qui a le nécessaire pour s'entretenir.
- La literie de l'hôtel est très bien.
- Petit balcon pour prendre l'apéro
- Le personnel de l'établissement est souriant
- Le petit-déjeuner est convenable

Inconvénient
- L'isolation phonique de l'établissement qui est inexistant
- Parking de l'hôtel payant
- Odeur de cigarette dans la chambre qui a mis 3 jours à partir
- Si l'hôtel accueil un mariage pendant votre séjour, les femmes de ménage n'auront pas le temps nécessaire pour faire les chambres correctement.
- La piscine intérieure et jacuzzi fermé à cause du Covid qui aurait pu être indiqué sur le site de réservation.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel.Zeer uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt.De kamer is gedateerd, maar wel schoon.Spijtig dat, ondanks het niet-rokers kamers zijn,er een sterke tabaksgeur hing.Maar dat zegt meer over de gebruikers dan over het hotel. Er zijn altijd wel mensen die geen respect hebben. Maar we hebben genoten van ons verblijf. In de onmiddellijke buurt van hotel heb je een aangenaam strand, veel keuze uit goede restaurants en chiringuito‘s.
