Customer service was great. Everyone so attentive and always checking if I needed anything. Buffet was great, servers and cook awesome! The lady making the omelettes very efficient and kind I enjoyed talking to her. The only negative about the hotel is that is old and needs to be updated. Our bathtub/shower didn’t work, no water would come out they immediately send someone to fix it and he was vey fast and did a great job, but it was an inconvenience because it was late at night and needed to rest. I didn’t want to leave a negative review because the staff was great, but people need to know, my experience.

I enjoyed the restaurant within the hotel. The location is not easily accessible, as the drive through restaurant next door had too many cars lined up and backed up to the service road. The shampoo, and all the liquid containers in the Bathroom appear to have the same substance. More attention on that is needed.

Overall the facility was ok: clean and comfortable and good location for our needs. There were only 2 functioning electrical outlets in the room. A/C worked that was a good thing given the hot/humid weather in Tampico.
Breakfast was included, but service at the restaurant was not good: very slow and staff was not very attentive 1/2 the time.
Front service staff was friendly and attentive, most of the time.

Little disappointed with hotel first they gave me a king bed room had to go back to front desk because I deserved a deluxe king suit then was told the room was not ready till four, I prepaid so I waited for it the room was very nice with a separate living room how ever the bed was very hard like sleeping on the floor since the reason I go to a hotel is to sleep I do not think I would return to this one if you like hard beds this is one for you

I have stayed here at the Fiesta Inn Tampico Hotel multiple times and I always ask for the lagoon view when its available and will keep doing so.

I can say enough about the Staff, the food, the acomadations.

This last stay was not as pleasant in our room, I work in construction so I'm very understanding that maintenance and upgrades are a must.

But in opinion is that if work was scheduled to be done over my room 601, that this room should have been put on hold until the work was completed.

Yesterday we had not planned to leave our room and just to stay in. And enjoy the Hotels ameneties that it has to offer on premises. But instead we were awaken by spunds of Jack hammering and the it continued thru out the day and the once again this morning by workers chipping away with hammers and chiesels.

We also used the Taxi service within the Hotel and was charged $100.00 pesos to be taken across the street the 360 Restaurant. The driver seemed to be bother by the short distance because of kaotic driven, instead of making it a nice ride for my date and I. If I would have been by my self when I came back to the Hotel I would have never paid for the ride because it was not in a Taxi but it seemed to be a personal car and the way we had to hold on from being thrusted around like rag dolls in the back seat.

Mainly, the air conditioning was extremely loud and somehow at the same time barely enough to keep the room at a reasonable temperature. They need better ac equipment.

The sheets were the complete opposite of soft. And oviously on a very hot day I wanted something refreshing to drink, and there was no fridger or even a vending machine. The only option was room service.

rooms have been remodeled and look much better, comfortable california king matreses. Toilets much be cleaned with \"CLORO\" every day, our toilet had a bad dirty smell, even after the maid cleaned it with their soap.Have new air condition units that are not as loud as the ones they had before. They removed the small refrigerators from the rooms ? why? Their service is stupendous throughout the hotel. Ask for a lake view room they are the largest ones and not expensive at all. The food quality has improved substantially, fruits are fresh and have a good variety for breakfast buffet. Eventhough on Hotels.Com the hotel advertises \"25% off on meals and beverages\", once you are there they will not provide you a discount on the breakfast. Still it is the best choice in Tampico. We have traveled to Tampico on business for close to 20 years.

Yes the Hotel is an older hotel but from my many visits and experience to Ciudad Maadero \ Tampico this Hotel is my favorite because of the great views of the lagoon to the green surroundings of the prooerty and even now and the an Iguana might come out and show it self.

We are a group of Americans who stayed here for our sons wedding. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff worked very hard to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Due to the fact the hotel was booked solid because of the wedding we did at times experience no hot water. The wedding reception was at the hotel and they did a wonderful job with the set up and beautiful decor on the grounds. It was very magical. The dinner provided by the hotel was very good as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and 3 different rooms.
My experience every time was delightful and relaxing. Lots of things to do within walking distance or taxi and the most popular and best food in my opinon is Restaurant 360.

People say its outdated but I really dont know when it was built but to me and I have 34 yrs in commercial and residential remodeling, now I see things thatneed to be addressed but over all its pretty modern.

If you book on line beforw arriving you get some low pricing, if you wait and pay at the front desk you will pay a least $150.00 for thier luxury room facing the lagoon.

If you happen to be in one of these rooms at sunset, wow.

I have stayed at Fiesta Inn in different occasions, always the staff have been great, helpful and polite

From the front desk , waiters , housekeeping, drivers , my experience has been a good one.
The food in the restaurant, it’s pretty good for a hotel, room service is efficient and fast.
It’s close to the airport, has a shuttle, close to restaurants, shops in the main avenue.

I would recommend this hotel, please don’t have a four seasons expectation but it’s a good one.

Tampico is improving

Hotel restaurant was very cold, outside temperature was 41 F and there was no heat at all in the restaurant. We invited 20 family members for dinner and they were all frozen, no heat. In fact, the heat was not on in the restaurant all of the 8 days we spent at the hotel. The food was already cold by the time it was served on the table. The service is excellent, all employees care deeply about their guests. Food is of good quality and not expensive, but just very cold. The hotel needs to add Fox News to their television channel line up, it appears that management has a one sided view of the facts no balance, they have two CNN channels but no Fox News. The hotel is remodeling all of their floors/rooms, it is looking much better.

we stayed at this hotel for the second time and was the worst thing we could do. the first night we had to ask the room change because the carpet was stained and smelly. They moved us but we were not any better because in the next room as soon as it started raining water went inside the window. the bathrooms do not have fan or window or any kind of ventilation. pillows and towels are hard as rocks. the people are very friendly and that's the only think is good on that hotel.

So nice we came back!

We booked this hotel because it was quite close to the wedding facilities. We stayed two days. We left to go south for a business trip and when we finished our business trip early we decided to come back to Tampico and complete our stay at the Tampico Fiesta Inn.
There is a nice clean pool and pool deck with plenty of clean and comfortable deck chairs. The pool area overlooks the lake and there was a nice breeze off the lake all day.
We didn't venture out to sight-see this trip, but there is a rental car office inside the hotel. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the airport as well.
The staff in the hotel and in the dining room are very friendly and speak and understand some English. There were always several people on duty, both at the front desk and in the dining room, who spoke fluent English. However, I like to practice my Spanish and the staff were very gracious in allowing me to use my Spanish.
The food in the dining room was excellent and there were many menu choices. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The Dining room has a lake view and the sunset was stunning..
The rooms are well stocked and the maid service is willing and helpful. In fact, the entire staff made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I will chose this hotel again for both business and pleasure.

I had booked well in advance for a King non-smoking and was very disappointed when I was given a Queen smoking. When I asked for the type of room I had booked in advance for I was told they were fully booked and could not help me. They wouldn't even look at my booking confirmation form I tried to show them. They said in the morning if a room is available I could be moved, but they not sure. It was very unprofessional and in the morning my belongings were packed. I was travelling with co-workers who all agreed to vacate the second day if they would not respect my booking as I do not enjoy smoke environments. The room had cigarette burns in the carpet and the air conditioning unit was loose in the window with wind blowing through (unit was not on) all night creating noise. By the end of the second day I did have a non-smoking but not the full booking I had paid for. When I checked out the staff would not provide a discount for not honoring my booking which I find disrespectful. My report to my employer is to not use this provider for future work assignments.

After many stays at this hotel and different managers the overall experience remains 3 stars at best. The ac units are noisy, the bathroom smells like mildew or tobbaco in non smoking rooms, my last name was wrong in the welcome letter, and the food is average and listed menu items not available. Why stay here? Location, location. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, plazas, Walmart, and movie theaters. Price is not a plus.

we stayed at this hotel many times, it is located near all main businesses. Very quiet, away from main avenue.The food is excellent and so is their service. The biggest problem is that their bed matresses are old and very hard, uncomfortable....you can't rest at all. If a hard, old bed does not bother you then you'll like this hotel.
