Rief Hotels.com an - nach Abfrage meiner Daten hatte ich innerhalb einer Minute eine kompetente Ansprechpartnerin am Telefon.- und dies am Sanstagmittag ! ich schilderte mein Problem und erhielt die Zusage das Hotels.com/Expedia sich darum kümmert. Am Sonntag erhielt ich eine Statusmeldung und am Montag erhielt ich von Hotels.com/Expedia und vom Hotel die Info dass die Fehlbuchung erledigt ist und ich mir die volle Höhe rückerstattet wird !

Decent hotel close to many things in Munster. Parking only 4€ a day, not as good as free but not too bad either. 10 minutes from the train station by foot.
Room a little dated, including carpet and kind of ugly furniture. But the bathroom was well equipped and clean. Overall not a bad value. Friendly English speaking staff.

This is a very nice hotel with excellent reception staff and very clean rooms. Normally I would give it 5 stars, but there is no A/C in the rooms and, with temperatures in the mid-30s at the moment (36 yesterday), it was impossible to feel comfortable. In fact, it was difficult to breathe and sleep. This can be very distressing. We always carry a fan with us, but even this wasn't enough. For many people, the extreme heat in the rooms must be a health hazard. The fact that the prices at this modern hotel are quite high means it is unacceptable in this day and age that there are no A/Cs or air-cooling systems in the rooms. Not even fans. After the severe heat wave across Europe last year, with temperatures in the 40s, the hotel has had enough time to install a cooling system.

A good place to rest outside of the city center
For a Solo trip, the hotel was good. This is my second time at the hotel in a city I know very well. It is no the most centrally located hotel in the city but if you're driving it is ok. Also, it is adjacent to the convention center which makes it ideal for business during the varied conventions. I never saw the breakfast or meal offerings so I am unable to comment on those. The hotel is right next to the Kongresshalle, so the location is ideal. But it is far from the downtown area. The room is standard, but WiFi is extremely slow. They only allow one laptop to connect for free.

Modern Comforts In An Historic Town
We stayed in Münster for 1 night, on the way to Bremen. The Hotel was very easy to locate and access, and parking was located very close to the lobby. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and modern, and a mini-bar was provided. The room was furnished with a work surface and chair, and the free WiFi was reasonably fast. Unfortunately, rooms whose windows faced the street were a bit noisy with the window open for fresh air.

Overall it was good: the room was clean and comfortable and the reception staff helpful. The facilities were basic, a fridge but no tea/coffee facilities. The WiFi did not work in the rooms, but did in the reception area. There was no air conditioning so we slept with the window open, however one (week) night a local nightclub was open and was VERY noisy. The other nights were fine. It is close to a great restaurant area and not far from town - 5-10 mins walking.

Nice hotel. Nothing special or out of the ordinary, but if all you're looking for is a place to stay this hotel fits the bill. It was a 10 or 15 minute walk to the city center. If staying here, consider renting bikes from the train station to get around. Only bad part was no a/c so we had to leave the windows open. Wasn't too bad, but there was a lot of loud yelling outside the windows late Friday night.

The room was advertsised as a double room, however when we checked in the double bed was two single beds pushed together. This was a problem in that one bed was about an inch higher than the other, so was not acceptable. The hotel checked us into another room, however the double bed was again 2 single beds pushed together. The eceptionist told us that this was the only option, because the hotel \"only had single beds\" throughout the whole venue. Very strange, and not very acceptable!

The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The staff on Friday in the Breakfast room was also very friendly and professional. However, on Saturday the staff tending Breakfast appeared to be slow and did not show the same friendliness.

Not Recommended for Summer Holidays
We are not happy with the ROOM as it was located on the roadside and was too hot to close the windows. They don´t have air condition . If you are going on Summer to such hotel please make sure to reserve comfort room which is on the other side of the road. Standard rooms are located on the road side which is quite in comfortable. Staff is quite good and friendly.

Tryp Hotel: Pretty Good
The Tryp is located on the SE edge of town. Desk staff was helpful and the room was decent by European standards. I'm not sure it's really a 4-star hotel, though, especially given the fact it's not air conditioned. However, in most weather--and we were there in August--the one window that opened was sufficient. The breakfast buffet was free because we booked through Hotels.com and was pretty good with helpful attendants too. We were particularly impressed with the very friendly pub just a block from the hotel--very good food, reasonable prices, and a friendly, informal atmosphere.

We stayed to attend a show at Skaters Palace. For this, the location was perfect — less than 1km walk to venue. Parking was free, but EV charging required a membership to SW Münster, so we weren’t able to charge our car, which was annoying. Breakfast was very good. Very nice, big showers. Clean rooms. Not the quietest as it’s right next to the Kongresszentrum. Rooms on the parking lot side are worse than rooms at the front of the hotel, despite the street.

Onze kamer was heel basic. Er was geen koffie-apparaat of waterkoker, alleen een flesje water. Het raam kan open, dat vinden wij altijd prettig. De 2 avonden dat wij er waren was het gezellig druk in de hotelbar. Ontbijt hebben wij buiten het hotel gedaan.
Goede parkeergelegenheid en het centrum is op loopafstand.

Lieblose Zimmer, das Restaurant ist die Hotelbar und kann Backofen oder Mikrowellen Speisen zubereiten. Extrem hellhörige Zimmer und selbst am Morgen der Abreise (Check out bis 11 Uhr möglich) klopft es um 7:45 Uhr an der Zimmertüre für die Reinigung. Die Zusammenarbeit mit externen Buchungsportalen funktioniert nicht über die Buchung hinaus. Alle Wünsche bezüglich Zimmer und Rechnung waren unbekannt bei meiner Ankunft und konnten auch nicht mehr umgesetzt werden.

Schlechter Geruch aus dem Badezimmer. Halterung an der Duschstange defekt. Schwarzer Schimmel in der Dusche beim Duschmittelspender. Total verschmutzter elektrischer Heizlüfter im Badezimmer. Lampen und Luftabzug im Badezimmer voller Staub. Frühstück: Ananas war mehr braun als gelb. Frühstück war sonst ok. Hotel wurde nur auf eine sehr billige Art renoviert. Nicht empfehlenswert. Parkplatz war mit 4 Euro sehr günstig. Melia sollte dieses Hotel mit so schlechter Qualität nicht unter Melia vermarkten. Schadet dem sonst guten Ruf von Melia.

Very noisy. A lot of people running around in the corridors nighttime. When trying to get some rest after breakfast a cykling team parks their monstrous bus with an extremely noisy generator just outside the window even if it was a lot of parkings spaces further away from the hotel facade. Management could have arranged that. Very expensive compared with the quality.

Wir waren üner Pfingsten 2022 für 2 Nächte im Hotel Das einchecken verlief gut und schnell genauso das auschecken. Das Zimmer war geräumig ZiNr 116 und sauber. Das Badezimmer war auch sehr schön und eine ebenerdige Dusche. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt.
