When we got there the front office lady was rude not welcoming at all it looked like she hated being there. And the next morning at check out we got the same staff member and I would have thought maybe in the morning time she would have been in a better mood and nope she still had an attitude. Everything would had gone better but she definitely ruined that for me wish they would hire better employees that actually liked their job.

I asked for an accessible room and the room was great for accessibility. Staff were helpful and professional. Breakfast area was nice and clean. Somebody needs to scrub the floor tile in the bathroom as it was not clean. We needed a handicapped parking space, but all available spaces were taken.

I've stayed at the Hampton Inn at Arvin Tejon Ranch on many occasions due primarily to its location, convenience, and cleanliness/appearance of the property. My only consistent disappointment is that no matter when you visit the property (Summer/Spring/Winter/Fall) the swimming pool is never quite warm enough to be comfortable. The property has alway been maintained in good condition and the breakfast selection is very nice.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an issue I experienced with my recent reservation made through Hotels.com.
I booked a double room for two adults and two children. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that the reservation in the hotel’s system was for one king-size bed only. Additionally, the confirmation email I received did not clearly specify the room configuration, which made it impossible for me to notice the discrepancy in advance.
As you can imagine, it was not feasible for four people to sleep comfortably in a single king-size bed. Fortunately, the hotel staff were very kind and provided an additional folding bed, which allowed us to rest for the night. While I appreciate the staff’s effort and hospitality, this situation should not have occurred in the first place.
The staff apologized sincerely but explained that they were unable to change the room due to availability. It was clear that this was not an issue caused by the hotel staff, but rather a system or communication error between Hotels.com and the hotel. Unfortunately, this mistake left an unpleasant mark on what was supposed to be an enjoyable family trip.
I have been using Hotels.com for over ten years, and this is the first time I have encountered such a problem, which is why I was especially surprised and disappointed.

I’ve stayed at this location before, and although the rooms are clean, and it is mostly comfortable, the Internet service is not the best, television was sketchy, and on this particular occasion, I had an issue at midnight with people upstairs from me. Upon checking in, there was a sign that noted there was “no one available and thank you for your patience”, but I still had to wait for someone to get to the front desk before being able to check in. None of it was terrible, just not ideal.

Everything was good except for the breakfast. It took the staff forever to come out of the closed door kitchen area and several guests had to mention no or low food out. There was no milk, no oatmeal, one yogurt, only two cereals. Someone should have been paying more attention to the food to restock at a decent rate and been more available to mention the low inventory of food. The one woman working did say they were working on the meat but it took forever for her to come out to mention there was no meat left. All of the trash cans were overfilled. No one ever cleaned the tables so guests were having to do it. Better service was needed especially since there was over 1.5 hours left of breakfast at the time I went to eat.

Power and AC tripped in room twice. They were able to flip breaker. Request, as accessible, to be on first floor cpuld not be honored. Other than hearing accessible were on second floor. I wonder what would happen in a fire when there is only ONE employee there at night.

Poor service and dirty bathroom

Upon entering my room, I heard water running in the bathroom so I went in and saw there was a dirty towel in the shower and the shower was leaking. There were also dirty footprints on the floor. I immediately went to the front desk to notify the gal, Angela, working. She just shrugged her shoulders and told me there was nothing she could do because all of the rooms had the same thing and the towel was there to prevent the bathroom from flooding.
I tried to go to bed and couldn’t sleep due to the noise of the water coming from the bathroom and I could hear the person next door snoring. I reached out to the desk again at this point and then she finally agreed to move me to a different room. I had to pack up all of my things, and get out of bed to do this at a late hour, when I would have preferred to be sleeping. The new room did not have water leaking, nor dirty towels on the floor.
I would have checked out and found a new hotel upon first arrival to my room if it had not already been so late.

Location is good right off the freeway if on the road. Shops and restaurants close by. Service and cleanliness were decent. Decor of the room was a little odd but not a deterrent.

Cons:
Air conditioning was right next to my bed and very unpleasant.

I hate hotel bathrooms w sliding doors with no lock and cracks on the side with zero privacy. This design needs to be eliminated.
