This was a great place for me, my husband, and two daughters (ages 6 & 7) during out stay in Naples. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We stayed in the superior apartment (aka value apartment), and it was huge! My daughters loved that there were bunk beds, and the staff even left two small teddy bears for my girls, which they loved!

The location was great for walking to so many different restaurants and was only about a 25-30 min taxi ride to/ from the airport.

Staff were very helpful with questions about the area and anything we needed. We arrived late into the evening and picked up two pizza's and some Peroni beers assuming we could eat in the garden area or the lobby seating area (plenty of it and very private), but the hotel rules do not allow. Its likely because it has bar service, but we ate in the hotel room so not a problem. The room was adequate, smaller than what we experienced in the other big cities like Rome and Florence, but it did the job. The breakfast is amazing!! Made to order coffee's, plenty of variety for all tastes - yogurts, baked goods, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, meats and cheeses. The best hotel breakfast we had in all of our travels through Italy.
The Piazza Bellini neighborhood is lively with plenty of great places to eat right outside the door and within a 5 minute walk. About 25 minutes from the Napoli Centrale train station and about 20 minutes from the port so good central location to use the transit.

The property was like an oasis in Naples. Danelle was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The breakfast was delicious. The service staff at the bar were pleasant and accommodating. The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It is conveniently located near the Archeological Museum and there are a few restaurants located across the street to grab a bite to eat and a drink. We did not stray far from the hotel in the evening because we did not feel safe.

I’m rating this poor due to lack of air conditioning. We did not sleep AT ALL. The system was LOCKED. By the time we determined this, it was midnight, two were sleeping (until they woke up sweating). Ridiculous. Not sure why system was locked, but should automatically be unlocked at check in. This was a quick overnight to catch flight early next am
Otherwise, the hotel was a gem in a not at all desirable area.

Perfect location in Naples

This is a well located hotel in the historic centre of Naples. Located in an old palazzo it has been creatively modernised. It has a lovely bar/lounge area between the wings of the palazzo. Very friendly and helpful staff. My room was effectively a small apartment with a well equipped kitchen area which in the event I didn’t use. I was only there for two nights but the room wasn’t serviced.

Beautiful Courtyard. Most amazing breakfast included in your stay. Great location in the center of everything - Easy to get to/from. Helpful 24 hour staff. Clean but small rooms. No microwave but there is a mini fridge (stocked if you want to purchase items) or keep some small items cold. Great shower. Fairly comfortable bed. Private terrace. Internet room and also strong wifi throughout all parts of the hotel. They also say they have a bar/restaurant which is in the courtyard. There are numerous restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. The taxi to the NAP Airport is only a 15 minute ride. No complaints. We were very happy with our stay here and would stay here again.

This hotel is really charming and I really enjoyed my stay here, although it was sadly brief!
The room was small but the bed was very comfortable and the shower water pressure great in the morning.
The staff could not do enough for me - every request was handled quickly and with a smile.
Breakfast was fine, the coffee was plentiful and fast.
Super-convenient for the Archaeological Museum, bars and shopping.
Great little hotel that I definitely recommend, especially for solo travellers.

Unacceptably dirty room & unsympathetic management

I honestly cannot recommend this hotel and I find the positive reviews to be inexplicable.

I arrived late in the evening after a 12 hour train journey. My room had an overbearing smell of sewage and the level of cleanliness and overall condition was such that I couldn't stay there.

I found the hotel management to be unsympathetic. After complaining, they did transfer me to another room for the first night. This room was far from ideal, but in better condition. However, they stated that I would have to move back to the original room for nights 2 and 3 because they didn't have any space. They were not prepared to refund me for those nights so I could make arrangements to go elsewhere.

After a long, late evening conversion with hotels.com customer service, they eventually issued me with a refund for nights 2 and 3 by hotels.com. I was then able to book another property a few minutes walk away which turned out to be great.

After this awful evening of arguing with the hotel and being on hold for nearly 2 hours with hotels.com, the breakfast the next morning was better than expected. The quality of the food was average for Italy, but there was a pretty extensive selection.

Hotel staff had lack of knowledge

Upon our check out, we were told of a train and bus strike. We were heading from Napoli to Rome by train. Asked about alternatives, and was told to go to train station and grab a cab. We took a cab that was ordered to go to train station. He agreed to take us to Rome for 500.00 euros. We thought we had no choice. Hotel should have helped us since strikes are frequent they had no clue about private busses to go to Rome for about 60.00 euros. Very disappointed in lack of knowledge or trying to help us in anyway. The hotel in Rome couldn’t believe that this hotel could not provide us with alternatives. No initiative. Very disappointed. We over spent because hotel gave us no options. It would be nice if hotel offered us some compensation.

The hotel has a great private courtyard for relaxing and eating breakfast. Very nice! And the included breakfast was fabulous! It is close to walking to many sites in Naples. I highly recommend it if you want to explore the sites in Naples including museums, restaurants, and various interesting neighborhoods!

Very friendly staff & nice property. Unfortunately we were given a room with non-functional air conditioning (unit ran but didn't cool). The front desk sent maintenance up for a check but there was nothing that could be done and all other rooms were full. We were given a fan but it was a hot & stuffy night in the room. It was rainy/humid so couldn't sleep with the windows open. Our area on the 4th floor seemed much warmer than the hallways and common areas of the property so our stay was rather uncomfortable. Had the AC worked it would have been a pleasant stay.

It’s Positano, so nothing it’s really easy, you have to park the car and then climb 65 stairs down and then the same number up when you reave. The hotel made it easy by arranging parking with a nearby parking and by providing a free porter.

Stayed in this fantastic Hotel for 5 nights. Beautiful building and our room faced the courtyard it was totally quiet so a good nights sleep. The entrance felt like you were stepping into a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of Naples. Staff were wonderful and friendly and the Hotel is just a few minutes walk from Dante tube stop. The surrounding area is very quirky with lots of second hand books/record shops and a lovely book cafe. 5 mins stroll from all the main attractions including the famous museum. Absolutely had a fabulous time and would definitely book if I’m lucky enough to return to Naples.

This is a perfect stay if you’re flying in or out of Naples. The hotel is very safe and clean. We needed to be buzzed into the area after a certain time. The front desk if 24/7, they helped us get a taxi for a very early flight. They gave us a map of things to do in the area. Would completely stay here again.

I chose this hotel because it was recommended on online travel forums. The location is pretty good, and the decor is trendy and appealing. A very nice breakfast was served, too.

My room could have used some renovation- wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the room was a little dark and featureless, with only one small window. However, my sister stayed in another room, and hers was in better condition.

Having the markets nearby was the biggest attraction.
