I would give it all a “4”, except for the non existent room service. Why have a menue in the room when there is no working kitchen in the house???
Nice, friendly and service minded staff, clean, comfortable beds, ceiling fan and a nice breakfast.

Nice smallish boutique hotel - located in a peaceful location a short drive out of Corfu Old Town - although very limited bars/shops facilities in the immediate locality it is very easy to get in to the main town by very cheap and regular local bus. About a 40 minute walk into town if you enjoy walking. Hotel is tidy with very helpful and friendly staff.

A little Dissapointed.

A little dissapointing. Suite we booked had noticeable noise. They moved us. Pillows like rocks. Bath with faulty plug. Airport noise, Heavy smokers by the pool. No escape. No water supplied Must purchase each day.Most hotels are now providing a glass bottle for refilling from the foyer at no cost. Dinner booked out each night. Fair walk to city. A few restaurants not too far. Breakfast was fabulous. Just would expect more for the price from this hotel.

Overall staff warm and welcoming but let down by not addressing issues at all when raised by us the day we arrived. Early evening we explained the shower tray fills up with water which is unhygenic and thoroughly unplesant having to stand in a pool of water that collects around your ankles because it's not draining away properly. The shampoo bottle kept on the ground where the water collects. The only forthcoming response we got was they would mention it to the cleaner. Overheard another couple report the very same concerns to the hotel reception staff so they are well aware of this issue but no attempt or offer to move us to another room. The smell in the bathroom was stuffy and smelt of urine as the floors are not properly cleaned. Luckily we only had to stay one night as I simply couldn't bring myself to use the facilities on the day we were leaving. Also a very uncomfortable sleep due to only having one very thin pillow each and no spares to be found in the room. Equally troubling was the very noisy room ceiling fan which is great to have as long as it doesn't sound like a police siren and this was still preferable to the noisy aircon. So this lack of attention and care to act on feedback or check for issues like the fan that just needs tweaking is fustrating. Hotel breakfast was average. Very disappointed with the whole experience and feel terribly cheated for the room rate we paid, so defintely can't say it was good value for money either.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area but with a few tavernas near by, including the excellent fish restaurant Dora and a lovely Indian restaurant. Bus stop at the top of the hill a couple of minutes walk away and runs on time. The hotel is clean, modern, breakfast is delicious and lots of choice, pool area is excellent with no rush to get beds in hight of the season in August. The barman made the best Apple Martinis and the reception staff were so helpful and knowledgeable about how to get busses around the island which we did. For my husband and I it was great walking to or from Corfu town as it’s about 20/25 walk (decent pace) so kept us active but we also got the bus at times too. There is plenty to see and eat out in the town so we didn’t eat at the hotel though the food looked lovely. Overall we had an amazing 6 nights in Corfu, our first time to the island, mainly due to the hotel, location and lovely staff.

Very nice hotel with extremely helpful and friendly receptionists and cleaner. Good size gym, lovely pool and very nice breakfast. What spoiled it was the officious barman. He refused to serve people at the bar and insisted that you sit down (rudely we thought) and then was very slow to bring you a drink. He needs to use his assistant more to speed things up but he clearly doesnt want any other staff in his bar. Better management needed.
Location only about 2 miles from Corfu a 30 min walk. Bus service good in daytime but not great if you want go to Corfu town for evening as you choose 6pm or 9pm bus. No late buses back (no 15 is 2215 but 20 min walk once you get off). Taxi costs about 15 euro depending on time and season. Bus stop to Kassiopi is nearby and it's a lovely town and worth a visit; very chic. Bus stop for Ipsos,Dassia and Gouvia about 30 mins walk away. Ipsos is by far tthe best of these.

We felt the checkin was complex and the receptionist was not very friendly, there were also lots of additional costs. €10 refundable deposit per pool towel was totally unnecessary the pool was just outside the reception it felt untrustworthy. €1 for a small bottle of water in the room which is complementary elsewhere. We ate in the hotel and they brought us we thought was complementary bread as we had not asked for it, then added it to the bill when we checked out €1.50 per person. We asked about an airport transfer (15min away) and was told 4 people could not fit in a taxi with only hand baggage and we would need a mini bus for €40 we ordered a taxi for €25 and there was plenty of room.

We felt it was unwelcoming with unhelpful staff. It was not a relaxing stay.

Secondly I came to this part of Greece for peace, quiet and relaxation. At least it wasn’t thumpingly loud. Bad cover versions of great songs does not help me relax. No music please!

Very nice hotel, had an excellent \"superior\" room that was spacious and had everything we needed. We had a car (plenty of parking available) so didn't have a problem with the location but it's a long walk into town so budget for taxis if you don't have transport. Good breakfast selection. We didn't spend much time at the hotel during the day, but just to note there are frequent planes overhead as it's located on the flight path.

We had a marvelous time at this boutique hotel. The on-site restaurant and bar was very convenient and pool was wonderful. It was great swimming while it was 90 degrees outside and see the jets from the airport fly directly overhead. The room was comfortable, the staff very professional. We rented a convertible Fiat car for two days directly from the hotel. The only slight drawback is the walk to town, which is a good 20 minutes depending on how fast you walk. The positive side of that is that you are away from the hustle-and bustle of Corfu Town. There are two fish restaurants a short walk away (down the hill and to the left) from the hotel. Overall a great experience.

Great place to stay in Corfu town

Great hotel close to the centre of Corfu town. Our room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed and tea making facilities. The restaurant had a great range of food and they coped well with gluten free options.

We arrived early on the day of the Queen's funeral and they prepared our room for us so we could watch it on the TV. Great visit from start to finish.

The staff were lovely, sitting out by the pool with a glass of wine and an app was very relaxing and the breakfast buffet was generous. The only thing I would have preferred would have been air conditioning. The ceiling fan was noisy and fairly ineffective.

Not a boutique hotel despite the name.. the hotel is fine, the rooms functional if a bit tired (we stayed in a superior deluxe, I'm not sure it's worth the extra we paid but at least we got a view of the harbour/sea in the distance if you peer over the very high balcony wall), the bathrooms are large & well furnished.
The pool & jacuzzi are good, the pool long enough to get in a few lengths.
Breakfast was pretty average though, if it wasn't included in the price I think we wouldn't have bothered.
It's a good 30-40 min walk into Corfu old town, getting a taxi back to the hotel costs about €10.
The staff were always very welcoming and friendly.

We had a great week in Corfu Mare. It was relaxing and staff were great and very friendly. It’s in a quiet area but it’s only a few minutes in a taxi to the town and an easy 30 minute walk. Bar was great, decent prices and great choice, food was also very good and breakfast was excellent. It’s very comfortable and the pool, bar, restaurant etc etc are well maintained and high quality. Loved it.

Small hotel with a pool

Good quiet location and with a swimming pool. You can walk into Corfu Town in about 20-25 minutes. But also can catch the bus easily from a nearby stop.

The bar and restaurant are well-run and quite low-key. You can have drinks by the pool and lunch in the outside bar. Dinner is served either indoors or outdoors by the pool.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and easy to get along with. Just a really enjoyable little place.

I stayed in an 'exclusive double room' on the second floor. Clean and spacious with a balcony. Bathroom was a bit small but had everything necessary.

Pool is spot on, jacuzzi is nice, but no guests has a clue how to turn the bubbles on, so you just kinda sit & hope.
Room was nice - not much of a view from our room, but I imagine some of them had a great view.
Mini bar was cheap. (although didnt use it, just stocked the fridge with stuff from the kiosk across the road).
Has a gym, meeting room and luggage room - they even lent us towels so we could use the pool and showers after check out.
Didn't like the location - only suitable if you don't mind spending on taxis or hire transport.
(1.6 miles to the old town - we walked it 9 times in 3 days)

if ,like us , you were in Corfu for only a couple of days primarily to see the sights
On the other hand we couldn’t find a hotel in the Old Town with availability in August
Finally hotel quite big so calling itself Boutique is a bit misleading

Nice hotel in not a great location

We upgraded the room at extra cost as original room was small, no views. Staff made this process easy. Hotel is on the flight path, not a great start. It is more than walking distance out of Corfu town and is up a hill away from the sea. There is no beach anyway as it is near the ferry port. Breakfast was the same experience every day.Staff were really kind and helpful though. Pool area was small and people reserved loungers with towels before breakfast. We went out every day as we had a car and hotel worked as a base, but it would be difficult to spend a week there with no transport.

This Hotel is overrated.

There were a number of problems with our stay
1. The view of the sea is really an obstructed view. You con see a small portion of it if you step onto the balcony. From the room you only see the neighbors backyards that are high on a hill
2. They charged 3 Euros / minute for phone useage. The charges are not described anywhere. We were in an unfortunate position to call the airline because they lost our luggage. Total cost was 150 Euros. Robbery!
3. Loud barking dogs from the neighbours
4. The breakfast was acceptable but they were very slow in refilling items
5. The room was non-smoking, but the smell of people smoking next door permeated the room even though our door was locked
6. The Hotel is a long walk away from the centre of town..... approximately 40 minute walk

On the positive side, the staff were friendly.

The staff in the restaurant were extremely welcoming and attentive. The room was acceptable but nothing spectacular. The bathroom was a bit simple. Small and smelled of mildew. They need to renovate a bit. My friends had a completely renovated room so perhaps they are in the process. Breakfast was nice. For a one night stay before an early ferry it was fine.

Pleasant place with helpful staff

I' m not sure what I expected from this 'boutique' hotel but despite being pleasant and friendly i found it less five star luxury than I had anticipated. It was quite expensive for one night, but fair because i had booked a suite. This consisted on two rooms and two bathrooms, and was obviously intended as another bedroom really as it had a double bed in it.
The furnishing was ok but not great, cheaper versions of good stuff. The bathrooms were good with very fancy showers.
We ate room service and the food was fine - a nice risotto porcini and a rather lush pizza.
The front desk staff were fab. Very very helpful if a bit chaotic on check out.
Basically, if you are used to sophisticated 5 star hotels this is not one, but if you are not, then it's great.
To be fair we only stayed one night and so didn't use the pool or any other facilities. The little we saw of the bar as we arrived late at night looked a bit odd with strange screens blocking off part of it.
The location is near the port and not far from the airport. One heard planes overhead until fairly late at night.
This sounds like a very critical review, but it's not, all I mean is that it has aspirations to style and luxury which it can't quite pull off. I would stay there again, the staff alone make it worth a re-visit and Corfu Town is not overflowing with top hotels!

Nice little hideaway in Corfu

The hotel staff was very nice. Felt like a smaller hotel, since there wasn't a ton of staff or guests when I was there on a Sunday night, but very clean and friendly. Everything was cute and felt like a little hideaway. Facilities were getting a little outdated (like in the gym), but still clean and for sure functional. Restaurant/bar overlooks the pool. Very pretty in the day or night. Great customer service and the exterior of the hotel was nice

Fabulous hotel.

We stayed for six nights in a suite. It was luxurious and comfortable. The staff were lovely. They were helpful and very friendly.The hotel was in a residential area and you really need a car to stay here. It is advertised as adult only,but if you check the small print that is only in high season. There were a number of young children when we were here , but it was not a problem. However one night a very large group of teenagers were bussed in.In the morning at breakfast some of the guests had been disturbed by them in the night and had had to move rooms. Breakfast was ok but not much choice, and dinner was good. Although eating in town would be cheaper and give you more choice. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We were informed that the hotel was newly renovated, so the room was in very good condition and decor was modern. The bathroom was especially our favourite as it was spacious and had 2 washbasins which is very rare. The bath toiletries provided were of the Chopard brand which we were very impressed by. We did not use any of the other facilities.

The hotel is not extremely near the old town and would be more convenient for visitors with a car, but there were no problems for us finding a parking space on the hotel site.

The staff were extremely helpful and chatty.

Breakfast was alright, not the best, but sufficient.

Great hotel

Lovely staff, so relaxing not to be surrounded by young children in the school holidays. A 20/30 minute walk into Corfu town or there is a bus every hour or a taxi for €10. There is not much directly around the hotel which makes it peaceful. A great gym & good breakfast.

We stayed at Corfu Mare for several days. We enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our stay as well as the pool. The hotel is not near a beach, but for us it wasn't a problem as we rented a car to drive around the island. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed using the fitness room as well.

We were very pleased with our stay for 6 nights at this excellent hotel , all the staff were very nice and helpful,we can have no negative comments whatsoever ,and we would not hesitate to stay here again anytime..........we walked to the old town in 35 minutes (although there is a regular bus service with a stop approx 50 metres away from the hotel ) .......a taxi back later in the night cost 8 euros from the square @the old port ,10 euros from the Liston square .

Very expensive for what you got. This was supposed to be a non smoking hotel. We could not use the balcony to see the distant view as we could not breathe out there. The cigarette smoke was too thick. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooom was a good size but again it smelt of smoke. Not really close to any good restaurants. Very disappointing for the price especially as the room was a gift for a special occasion.

We visited the hotel in September. We drove feom the airport at night and found it easily. It is off of the main road and a good 30 min walk from corfu town, as we had a rental car this was not a problem. The hotel was very nice and we really enjoyed our three nights, the pool area was great and larger than expected with plenty of sun and loungers. As I like a gym I was very pleased with the gym which was large and well equiped. The bar was very nice with nice chill out music and good priced drinks. A good value hotel and breakfast was a bonus with plenty of choice. The staff were all wonderful as well.Highly recommended

To start on a positive note, the staff was very friendly and kind. Unfortunately, our overall experience with the hotel, the room and the communication with management/owner was disappointing.

We stayed in the Libro d’Oro suite, and upon arrival, one of the toilets was already broken. We were told it couldn’t be fixed during our stay. After just one night, the second toilet also stopped working, leaving us with no functioning toilets in the room. Initially, no solution or assistance was offered and we were left without working facilities for an entire day. Only after that day did they manage to find someone to fix them, something that was supposedly not possible before.

Given the high price of the room and the poor condition of the facilities, we asked to speak with the hotel management to discuss a solution or possible compensation. Despite several attempts, no one was available and although they promised to be present at checkout, no one showed up. There was no sense of accountability or hospitality. They proceeded to charge us the full amount (with a minimal discount for only one broken toilet) without our agreement or consent, even though we had made it clear multiple times that we wanted to discuss the matter first.

On top of that, the swimming pool area was overcrowded with very limited shade and the surrounding area had little to offer in terms of activities or sights. Overall, for the price we paid, the experience was disappointing and not worth the money.

Det tager cirka 30 minutter at gå ind til den gamle by og en taxa koster mellem 12-15 euro. Den gamle by er rigtig hyggelig om aften. Hotellet er et godt udgangspunkt for ture rundt på øen

Good stay!

Good hotel, great service, great breakfast buffé and clean establishment. The only downside for us was the distance to Corfu town which is a 30 min walk. However, nice pool area and good beds.

Trevlig och god service! Väldigt fräscht och rent (nyrenoverat?). God frukost. Ligger i ett bostadsområde nära hamnen utanför Corfu stad, ej centralt. Ett par restauranger nedanför hotellet annars begränsat utbud, 5 min taxi till gamla staden (6-13euro). Smidigt med gratis parkering och bra utgångspunkt om man vill köra runt på semestern.
