My main issue with this hotel was with the car. I was not told that I had to park in the middle of nowhere, far from the hotel, paying 25 euros per day which added to the City Council tax makes it 32 euros extra per day. On top of that I happened to be there in a green Sunday, where you basically can't use the car, and nobody warned me about all this. Eventually Sebastiano, bless him, allowed me at least to find a way to park in front of the hotel door. As far as the Hotel itself is concerned, perhaps with 4 stars is slightly overrated but overall ok. Breakfast needs improving in terms of quantity and quality.

the breakfast and staff were good, the room was tidy but there was a bar outside that if people were there then the noise in the room would have been poor, but the bar was mainly closed, the wine I should have had was to be a small bottle, in the end I had to negotiate a bottle as we had 2 rooms and that was not very good. The noise in the room was not nice when the room above was using the shower and toilet, it would echo in the wall and a running water sound would be very apparent in our room. We had to keep asking for milk, coffee and toilet rolls at reception as these items were not restocked each day. The bed was comfortable. The hot tub was covered so did not use that but the deck around it was nice when the weather was good.

The location was not close to a lot of restaurants but easy access to metro and bus!
The room was smaller than we expected. On the Expedia listing it said 237 sq ft but if it was 190 sq fr that would be a stretch.
Also there is not “Onsite” self parking which was also stated in the Expedia listing which was disappointing but thankful there is a place to load and unload and a quick 5 minute walk back from the public parking garage!
We were extremely with the front desk daytime staff he was so very helpful and kind!

It was a wonderful stay. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and it wasn’t a far walk to the metro. The only things of concern really was that our hot tub had a panel missing and was leaking. Also the stairs coming down from the bedroom to the sitting area didn’t have a safety handrail. It’s only a real concern because the stairs are polished wood which can be really slippery. It also had a glass wall right next to it.

The folks were really good to us and helped us a lot. The room was clean and kept up. Breakfast was efficient and pretty good. The only thing we missed was the hot tub. We were expecting it to be open to southe our feet, but is was closed for the season. I did not se this while I was booking. It was nice to have a location out of Rome Central where we could relax on rest days. The restaurant next door was recommended but not affiliated. We had several very nice dinners. The servers and owner made us feel at home.

The staff are wonderful and very accommodating, but the hotel is very tired. We kindly got upgraded to a suite and the bathroom door was a sliding one that barely shut which was a limitation on privacy and comfort naturally. The TV (which was off) also had some light flashing which made it hard to sleep.

The hotel would benefit from some modernisation and upgrade, such a fully closed bathroom door. Breakfast was limited for vegetarians also.

Spoon fed AC but overall clean and good service… neighborhood was ok … further from Historic sights than we expected… cab driver ripped us off … hotel is 5 min from train and 7 min from Coliseum.. ride shouldn’t cost more than 12-16 euros for either destination… beware

Great spot to stay just outside \"the walls\". We were drving so it was important to find a place with parking nearby.
24 hour parking garage nearby, was able to park at the hotel to unload without being rushed.

The reception staff, Sebastiano e Dimitre gave exceptional service and made our stay easy. If you stay here, the key card also powers the lights and power in the room, so if there are two of you, be sure to request a second card.

We had the suite and the room was absolutely gorgeous! The Wi-Fi barely worked at all which was a little frustrating since we traveled from America and didn’t have cell service, but it was fine. The website also states it has laundry facilities, which is misleading because it does not nor so they actually provide laundry service. They outsource dry-cleaning but don’t advertise that in the fine print. It hard to get around in the area and the public transportation were all on strike so prepare extra money for Ubers and taxis because they are not cheap. But there are a lot of restarting in the area and a nice grocery store near by! However no microwave in the room.

Nice property with a music theme decor. Located in a very quiet residential area. Too far from the heart of Rome for me personally to walk. There was a subway metro stop nearby but unused taxis as the metro is gross in Rome. Staff was very friendly. Loved the little rooftop hot tub which was cool water and refreshing in the hot weather at the end of a day exploring. Breakfast was pretty decent for Italy.

After our fifth visit to Italy, this hotel has become our pied a terre. We have chosen a room whereby we are comfortable and very familiar. The staff is very welcoming. The breakfast has a wonderful choice and is abundant. The mattress is very comfortable and pillows are fluffy. There is a secluded lounge for the guests, a welcoming terrace from the breakfast room and a huge hot tub at the top of the building. This hotel is only 3 subway stops away from Roma Termina which is worth it. It is located in a neighborhood whereby you will enjoy where a real Italian community lives. My favourite grocery stores are Conad and an organic shop and where great gelato shops and restaurants are located. We return every year! Enjoy it if you can.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Very close to the Metro where you can visit all that Roma has to offer.

Morning breakfast is very simple continental and what you would expect.

The room was non smoking but had a very strong cigarette odour on arrival. We opened the balcony door on numerous occasions to air the room. Extractor fan in shower wasn't too good as the room would steam up very quickly. Ventilation wasn't too good either. We visited in January so I could only imagine during the summer.

Regardless of the above minor critic, I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome.

Disappointed with the room size and amenities. Expensive for what the hotel has to offer. Staff are alright and try to help. I wouldn't stay here again and will try to look for other options next time I'm in Rome. Expected better standards from a best western.

Our locker wasn't working upon arrival and we informed the reception. Someone came to repair it while all we wanted to do was rest a little after the journey.this could have been checked before the room was considered ready. Room was too warm and temperature control dial kept resetting to 25degrees even when we turned it down. Spoke to the reception and they explained it's centrally controlled and it can't be helped...

Hotel is modern but rooms are small, breakfast looked good but we did not have it. They had same items as other hotels we stayed at and wanted something different. They had fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon and more, the hotel was working on the water limes and it was supposed to be done during the day but when we returned we had no water. We had to call and they said it would be back at 1 am . Next day the other couple we traveled with had water leaking in the room. The staff member who checked us in was helpful but other evening staff was not. Hotel is not bad we just stayed at the wrong time. Cute place but very small.

This small hotel is in a quieter suburb just five minutes walk from the Re Di Roma metro station. This made it an ideal base for our week in Rome. It is only 24 euros for a 7 day adult Metro and bus pass, both busy but excellent services. There are is good mix of local shops and restaurants and a small playground if you are taking children.
We ate locally at O' Sole 'e Napole good food, great value always full of local people.
Allow a day for the Colosseum; even booking ahead the queues were long and we joined a tour group to save time then immediately went onto Palatine Hill and the forum which is also covered by the ticket. Go near any monument and you are besieged by tour group sales people offering ''skip the line services'' listen carefully

There are meal options to suit all budgets and tastes.

Speaking to people Rome is always busy so expect crowds especially at places like the Trevi Fountain

The Cinemusic Hotel is modern, clean and comfortable accommodation in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The reception always smelled fresh and the staff were welcoming and helpful, giving recommendations and advice on arrival and booking airport transport for us on our last day. The room was an ideal size for a couple, although there are bigger rooms and suites available. There's a fridge, safe and TV in the rooms - very few English language channels, but as expected. We paid €4 per person per day for the continental breakfast. Good choice of breads, pastries, cereals, meats, eggs and fruit. Coffee machine has a range of choice and also English breakfast tea! There is a rooftop solarium with jacuzzi and also a terrace just off the breakfast room with outdoor seating. Great for relaxing after walking around Rome all day! There is a small bar and vending machine on the first floor but the bar did not open while we were there. Also the wifi connection wasn't great but that wasn't a problem for us.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Piazza and Ri de Roma metro station. The Piazza has a range of restaurants and shops. We bought 72 hour metro tickets (€18 each) as advised by the gentleman at reception as the metro is the quickest way to get around the sights of Rome.
Overall, our trip to Rome was fantastic and the hotel and staff really made our stay - I would recommend!

Nice little hotel with a breakfast buffet that does not change in a daily basis keeping the same items day after day ,problems with bathroom soap supplied by the hotel. The location is not that good because is on a very ugly neighborhood graffiti all over the area,and street garbage accumulation around hotel.The entrance to the hotel is not notable , like a garage entrance.

Super hard beds to cause damage to your body ,is so hard that you feel like you are sleeping on the floor.

After reading some reviews I was a little apprehensive, but I have to say our stay was excellent. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was ideal and the staff were very friendly.

The only downside, and this is nothing against the hotel, is it's location. a good 15 minute walk to a main area. Eventually we decided to use taxi's into town, it was however nearly 40 degrees and the kids were moaning :)

Overall, nothing to complain about and would certainly stay again in the fute.

Too far from the main attraction

People are kind enough to give directions whenever we ask them. Good breakfast buffet, thumbs up to the person that serves breakfast, I think her name is Bezzel. Romm is comfortable but aircon doesn't seem to work, we have to open the window, but it get's loud at night. The location of the hotel is little bit far from the main attractions. But they are near the Metro station-Redi Roma which makes it convenient. It takes 4 stops to get to main Roma Termini. The bus number M2A stops near the hotel but still need a little bit walk from the bus drop off to the hotel. The room are nice and clean, Kitchen are wll kept. No microwave in the room. 10 minutes walk from Redi Roma to the hotel. The hotel is kind of out of sight, be careful in walking at night in there. WIFI never worked on us. it works for 2 minutes then it goes away.

Some of the staff were really nice. Some were rude. The hotel is a bit out of the city and there is nowhere to eat there. Check in is from 2pm not 12 as advertised. As it is in the suburbs there are no good restaurants nearby. Although it is near a metro station. The rooms are very small and there is no door on the shower. Also only a Perspex door covering the toilet. Out conditioning did not work properly either. The breakfast was good and the rooftop area. You have to pay to use the jacuzzi

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy with this hotel. Affordable, friendly staff, great location (close to metro), clean and modern rooms, and very good breakfast (not the best but still very good). I would recommend this hotel to my friends for sure. Just a note that you have to pay 6 euros per night per person as it is a required tourist tax in Rome.

The only complaint I have about this hotel was that the air conditioning was not very cold the week we were there in May. It was cooler to leave the windows open to cool the room down than to use their air conditioning.

Great hotel - excellent location

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. We had an excellent experience. The hotel is very close to Re Di Roma station making it very easy to reach every destination in Rome. The hotel staff were very nice, especially the reception staff. They provided us with a map of the city on our arrival and explained how to reach the amenities of Rome etc. Our room was lovely, clean and modern, not very big, but quite big enough for a couple. Breakfast was very nice, amazing coffee!

Good clean hotel hidden away

It was a little hard to find as it's tucked away with little to declare its presence except for a lone \"HOTEL\" sign hard to see from the east. No Best Western logos to be seen.

Birthday in Rome

5 nights in Rome to all the sights and sample the lovely food and wine. Ideal location train and metro. Beautiful weather!

Stay here!

Brilliant hotel, fab staff, only a short walk to metro 4 stations to trevi fountain and everything easy to get too, Friday and Saturday nights metro stops at 1.30am, a lovely place !

Comfortable hotel away from downtown

We enjoyed our stay. The easy, quick access to the metro made the location great. Very good breakfast buffet and the hotel staff were very helpful when needing a ride to the cruise ship terminal
