3 pm check in rule was very strict. Got tgere 245pm to check in and planed to go Seouland. They are not flexible even 1 minute. They didn't offer room upgrade. Tgey said there are free bath robe but I didn't see them in the room. Staff at the front was not friendly.

My stay at this hotel was great. It was close to everything I was looking for. And the staff there is very kind and attentive too. I used the bell service for my luggage on my last day, the staff there went above and beyond helping me arranging the best accommodation. Thank you again! Aircon sucks

Aircon was useless. The temperature actually went UP after we turned it on. Even though the fan was on high, we couldn’t feel any air moving whatsoever. We called the front desk, and they just said that the system is slow. Fortunately, they were able to bring us a small fan, which helped a little bit, but it’s not the same as air-conditioning. The room never did cool down sufficiently.

I have stayed at this hotel before several times before the remodeling. The hotel had been modernized and a much more comfortable stay if you plan to stay in the Suwon City Hall area.

Only issue I have is that the hotel does not offer robes.

The breakfast was not good for us because there was not the soup it matches with the rice. And there chef not kind for us. When I close the Window it did not working . So I purpose them change the room but the other room, the bathroom was not good.They did not know their facilities good or not good.
So I do not recommend this hotel.

Room in hotel was pretty small and a bit worn and grungy. On the other hand the price was pretty low, so you get what you pay for. Aside from that, the service in the hotel was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They put on a nice breakfast buffet also - something for everyone.

Not gonna stay there again if it’s not for free

The local area was good — near the shopping area, but the hotel was too outdated. Carpet in the hallway and in the bedroom was too dirty. The room was small and curtains were too shabby. The bathroom was way too small for comfort. The only hotel I’ve been to that provides limited toiletries — just shampoo, lotion, and soap... nothing else! Said it has something to do with being environment friendly.

Average Hotel with simple amenities

For classic hotel, it was spacious but lacking cleanliness in the hall ways. It emphasized eco environment friendly campaign, but it felt they just wanted to save the bottom line. The staff was stiff and lacking courtesy. They are main focus who you booked their hotel. The parking lot was clean but felt like oven. Overall, it was average.

Nice Budget Option in Suwon

Rooms are comfortable but very small. Keycard required for use of Elevator and electricity in room. Not uncommon in Korea, but can be a bit inconvenient. We couldn't find the overhead lightswitch in the room, or in fact any overhead lights at all. Made due with the two small bedside lights, but was a bit dark. Overall a nice international budget hotel for short stays. I wouldn't recommend for more than a weekend though.

Best stay ever

This hotel had the best bed and pillow along with the hottest and strongest shower I've experienced in years. For the price, it's a steal. Next time I'm in the area, this is where I'll stay. Straight bus to the airport and plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. So impressed.

I hope Ibis Suwon Hotel can offer the choice of pillow, especially for a thinner or flatter one. The existing pillows are too thick. Also, the air-conditioner temperature is set at 26 degC and cannot be changed. Sometimes, it makes me feel too hot at night. Apart from that, the hotel has a good location, budget price and the room is big enough.

Night is when AC is off

They turn the cental air off at night. Nothing replaces a good night sleep. The layout of the room is very dated. The AC issue seems to be emblemstic of the novotel/ ibis chain. Unacceptable.

Great place to have a South Korean holiday. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They all spoke English very well, and no issue to hard for them. They even would come to explaine to the cab drivers where we wanted to go. I would stay here again.

The hotel appeared nice and clean but the front desk knew very little about the surrounding area. I asked for a western sports bar where I could get a burger and watch sports. They first directed me to a dirty nightclub filled with young kids that were passed out at all the tables. I finally found a great spot(on my own) by looking it up on different travel sites. The sports bar is called Sam Ryan's. Great food, excellent and friendly staff. The Ibis staff was friendly, the level of English speaking was lower than most countries that I've traveled to, and the response about our air conditioning took about two hours even though the Ibis guarantees a 15 minute response time. It's an okay place for a few nights but research the area on your own beforehand.

Good Suwon business location

For my first trip to Suwon, this is a good location. Has daily bus trips to / from several area business such as Bosch and Samsung. Hotel has decent wi-fi but separate routers for each floor location. You will need to access each as you move about. Lastly, go ahead and purchase the breakfast buffet option when booking. Aside from coffee shops, you end up having the breakfast each day before you begin work. Might as well pay up front.

Nice value hotel for business travelers

This is a clean business class hotel with a good value. This hotel is located in the center part of the town of Suwon and one of the limousine bus stops. The hotel is located within a walking distance from the restaurant alley and a couple of coffee shops within two blocks. Although Starbuck's web site does not tell you that there is a Starbucks, one of their stores is located within two blocks. Their buffet breakfast is marginal, so I suggest getting breakfast at A Twosome or Starbucks. The hotel staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. They even have pre-printed directions for the taxi drivers in Korean so that you can hand one of these directions to the taxi drivers since most of them don't speak English.

The staff were pleasant and VERY helpful. I can't write enough about how great the staff were.

Breakfast buffet was mediocre and had the worst hash brown potatoes I've encountered in decades of traveling. The Indian foods with Naan and chickpea curry were tasty though.

Room was exactly what was needed for business travel. Clean and quiet. Television remote control did not function to turn the tv on or off, but getting up to perform that trivial task wasn't a problem.

The room literature showed that there is a breakfast available in the lobby from 4:30 am to 6 am for early risers, but when I arrived in the lobby at the appointed time, I was told that it has been canceled and that I should arrange something the day before if I needed breakfast extra early.

Hotel is located about a 10 minute taxi ride from Suwon station. It might take less time with no traffic.

Overall I would consider staying at the hotel again. It met my needs.

Disappointing...

It is not my first time there, but for surely my last.

My \"non smoking room\" was very smelly and smoggy of cigarettes.
When I called the housekeeping, they came, sensed that too and said they can verify that but they have no solution for that, since it comes from other rooms through the air conditioning system... The windows can not open, so I had to suffer for a few hours until I could checkout early and leave for some fresh air.

The room had a tiny shower that I could not almost fit into. And I am not a big man... Maybe because it had too much hair left there from previous tenent? Yuck!

Ibis Suwon - Friendly staff, great location

The hotel was located about 1 km from Suwon Station - easily accessible by an affordable taxi ride. Check-in was quick and fuss-free. We loved the comfortable room. The hotel does not provide shampoo and other toiletries, but these were easily available from the vending machines just outside the room.

荷物がある人はエスカレーターがある1番出口を使っても行けます。
徒歩圏内に飲食店が多く、夜も安心して歩けます。

도착할때 밖의 온도가 27.5도로 덥고해가쨍쨍한날. 주변호텔이 많음에도 조식을 보고 이호텔을정했는데
호텔방에들어가니 밖보다 더 더웠다. 프론트에물으니 에어콘이 중앙조절이라 시간이안됬다하여 그런호텔에도 가봤기에 선품기가 와서 더위를식혔다. 더구나 끔직한것은 방이 엄청작은데 창문을 열수없는구조다. 중정이 있는쪽 싼방이라 할수없다는거. 기다리다 저녁7시가 되어 다시 에어콘 문의를 하니 아직 에어콘 계절이아니라 가동을 안한다고. 뚜껑이 열려서 사람마다 더위느끼는게 다른데겨울에도 실내는25 도는 지켜져야하는데 창문도 못여는 작은방에서 무슨말이냐고성질을냈다. 밤에자는데 답답하고 온도는 28도로오르고복도사람지나갈때 센서로 입구불은 켜지고 출입문을 열고 자고싶을만큼 괴로웠다.
조식은 훌륭해서 과일과 샐러드종류가 많아 만족했다. 다음에 또와야할까 조식먹으러?끔직하니 굿바이 네버두잇 해야하나, 인생 최악의 밤으로 기억
