it was indicates that the hotel was newly renovated but our room smelt so bad of mold and like the age of the building the stench was undeniable and had difficulty staying in the room. when we mentioned this to the staff we were ignored and the manager did not say one word of apology despite describing our discomfort staying in such a room with and awful smell. it was a really poor experience and it was evident that the hotel does not care about individual guests, but rather caters to big groups that come here for special events etc. as an avid traveler I would not recommend this old hotel that reeks of mold and bad service, it gives hospitality a bad name.

The hotel has been fully renovated recently. They say they had to close for a year for the whole renovation. The interiors were new. The best part of the stay was the full buffet breakfast. Fresh vegetables, eggs, fish, rice, various meats, and even desserts. Five stars. The lobby was big and the staff were friendly. The location was good next to a big Olympic park. The adjacent Monchon-to-sung is very good for the strolling. Ample spaces around the hotel for the car park or walking. Generally quiet. The iconic Lotte tower can be seen and within the walking distance. I would stay again. I miss the breakfast. Five star.

The windows are big and provide good views and sunlight. The free breakfast was excellent, I would say five stars. Many choices of fresh salads, vegetables, eggs, fish, meats, and even desserts. The car park was convenient. It has many spaces around the hotel building. No wonder the hotel has the wedding facilities. The hotel is located next to a big park, therefore I could enjoy strolling. Birds were singing in the trees. Only negative was the sound proofs were not perfect. But it was not that serious. I would like to stay again, hence five stars overall. Well done.

Hotel is little dated and location is okay, not too far from subway and next to Olympic park with a view. Room is little small but I believe its pretty standard in Korea and it's relatively clean considering its age. On other hand, the matrass was horrible, it remind me of matrass from youth camp with old springs top off with cardboard on top. I ended up checking out early since couldn't sleep on the bed.
They really should look in to upgrading the matrass as soon as possible unless they are planning on a full renovation.
